Archie Thompson
Archie had pulled into a gas station, filling his truck when he got the picture from Lena. He almost had to do a damn double take, because the girl he saw looked just like Lena years ago. It was almost like a carbon copy. His eyebrows furrowed and he finished filling before climbing into his truck. He needed to know a little more about what was going on, because he knew about the fight, but a woman involved? s**t like that did not happen when he and his men ran things. The women were always safe, and when it came to beef, they were left untouched. Where are you? I'll be there.

Lena Penelope Sinclaire-Caine 'Ruby's on Elmwood.' Lena sent back and finally started to look over the menu. Cadence tried to lure her Mother into polite friendly conversation but it failed. She was interrogating Cadie about the fight, what happened? Who was there? Why were they fighting? Cadence finally gave up talking. She just picked at her food. Lena sipped her coffee and picked at her own food. She was so frustrated with Cadence. She missed the days when Cadie was little and told her things. Now she was just so secretive and distant. Lena couldn't help if Cadence wouldn't allow it! "I will confront Orion then.""Please just drop it. Please.""Drop it?" Lena repeated loudly. "Shhh! Mom, people are staring!""Let them stare because I am about to throw one of your world famous fits if you don't start speaking!" Lena threatened and Cadie sank low in her seat. "Oh my god Mom, you're so dramatic!" Cadie groaned. "Damn right, where do you think you got it from?" Cadie stuffed her mouth with pancakes till she looked like a chipmunk. Lena glared at her, arms crossed over her chest. It was now a battle of the wills. Lena was determined not to lose this time. She had often given Cadence her way when possible. She had always done so out of guilt. She felt guilty for how her life had been. Well now...this was all on Cadence. She was a grown up, and had been for quite sometime. So the troubles she found herself in now where of her own creation. She had never told her to find her brother, or hang around his MC. No in fact, she had told her all the De La Cruz men were trouble. they were cursed. They were a magnet for bad things, and still Cadence befriended one. Lena huffed at the thought. Even now her ex's family was actively trying to destroy her family's life. Hadn't that always been the way? Lena muttered out loud without meaning too. She had only meant to curse the man in her thoughts. Cadence froze. She looked surprised, then hurt and finally upset. "I'm sorry!" Lena said at once and Cadence pushed her plate away. "I told you I never want to hear his name again!" "I know, I'm sorry. Calm down." Lena patted Cadence's arm and immediately Cadie snatched it away. She slipped out of the booth and stood up. "Excuse me..." She muttered and moved quickly toward the bathroom.
Lena and Cadie had a tense rest of the morning. They went to the doctor's appointment. Ran a few other errands, and Cadence went to her therapy session. Pointless she felt since she couldn't talk. There were just too many things she felt she couldn't talk about, or things that she wanted to talk about but didn't because it was pointless. Things beyond her control, things that could never be changed. So she saw no point in talking about it, whether it bothered her or not.
Finally Lena pulled up at the meeting place. They sat in the car a moment before Lena spoke. She knew how stubborn Cadie could be, but this was one time she felt like she had to push the importance of not being so stubborn. Of not being so closed off and suffering in silence. "Okay, so...there is an Agent who wants to speak to you. I know you're against talking to an sort of authority, but....I think you need to talk to her." Cadence tossed her head back in frustration. She squeezed her eyes closed, and bit her lower lip. She was stuck. She knew the fight at Orion's place looked bad. She didn't want any of her boys being hauled in over a fight they had been forced into. Cadie bowed her head as she thought.
She did not want to get anyone in the AA in trouble for anything in the past, if she talked she ran the chance of hurting them. She took a deep breath and held it. Slowly she released it. Clearly trying to steady her nerves, and regain her usual confident arrogant exterior. Normally she didn't let things visibly affect her. She had learned long ago to never let anyone see her struggling, or her moments of weakness. Very few people had witnessed that softer vulnerable side of her. Cadence got out the car and walked toward the building. Black's murderous eyes and face floating into her thoughts, immediately followed by Ben's angry face.
One of them would kill her. That was the reality of her situation. Ben was slowly killing her. Ripping her apart piece by piece. He wanted to destroy her slowly, to enjoy killing her mentally and emotionally before he physically killed her. He like to crush her spirit, loved watching the fight leave he body. Black's death was actually the more humane currently. His death would be welcomed in another few weeks if she stayed in Ben's custody that time. One bullet, and Black could free her from the hell she was existing in currently.
She felt herself stiffen at Cadence's words. What did she mean she wasn't making it out of this alive? She didn't have a chance to further question her daughter on the dark statement because she was up and gone. Heading into the Peck. Lena got up and tried to catch up. "Agent Peck..." Cadence said once she reached the desk. Lena grabbed her arm and tried to pull her away. "What did you mean....?" Cadie shook her off. "I've got this under control." "Cadence..." "Back off, and let me do what I have too." "You don't owe him s**t." Lena said quickly, not sure if she meant Ben or Orion, or them both. "I know I don't owe anyone. This is about something else..." It was about saving those she had grown to love. Saving her family of rejects, and lost souls. She did not respect Orion as a brother, hell no! She hated him as a brother. As a person, as a leader, he cared about his people. He had never shown her the sort of compassion that he shown anyone else, and she had long ago dealt with the feelings that arouse from that sort of rejection.
Rejection. Now that was something she was familiar with. Hell she was an expert on that particular topic. She thought about the others. Jasper, Grace, Killian, now the baby. She had to do what she could to make sure those she held close to her heart weren't hurt, or at least didn't end up destroyed in what followed. "I'm ready to talk..." Cadence said, speaking the words out loud was more to help her come to terms with her decision.
Cadence hoped it was Black who did the deed. It would hurt the AA, cause problems within. This one time she had to put herself before them though. She rather it be over fast then what Ben would do to her. If she was left to him it would be painful and drawn out. His fists, feet and whatever else he had on hand hammering at her already tired and broken body. Trying to shatter her bones and what remained of her soul.

Location:Home Company: Dereck, Nate Wearing: Wearing Maralyn Ó'Conchobhair "Well you keep me informed how your days going. If it looks like you'll get away before noon, we'll do lunch. If not, we just wait until dinner." It wasn't truly whatever she wanted as he stated. They both had things that had to get done. And so responsibilities came first. But Lyn wouldn't turn him down for anything. So the time would be made sometime during the day. Time was just of the essence.
Lyn smiled at him. Yes he was a Superman. Her Superman. "Even Superman has his Kryptonite." She shook her head at his simple joke of playing nurse. Lyn didn't agree that that was what happened. Had they not gotten those two wounds taken care of he could have bleed to death or gotten some horrible infection and sick. It had been needed to be done. There had been no playing. "Not unless you need me to." She shook her head with a smile as he left the room with a wink. Had breakfast not been in, she would have followed him. But if she took a shower now, especially with him, breakfast would surely be ruined. As she waited, Lyn moved to sit in the living room and read. The two dogs were roaming the house, unsure where they wanted to be. With one of their humans since they were in different rooms or in the kitchen with the smell of food.
When the timer beeped, Lyn got up from the couch and moved back to the kitchen, taking the rolls out of the oven carefully. She let them cool a little bit, getting out plates, and filling a couple small glasses with milk to set on the table. Plating the rolls, she smeared them with icing. Placing it all on the table, Lyn grabbed herself another half cup of coffee, and leaned against the counter as she sipped the warm liquid, watching with a smile as Zeke nosed around the table that was still luckily higher than his nose could reach, while she waited for Dereck."

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette Outfit Diana had been sitting at the Sacred Heart for about 10 minutes before the meet was to be conducted. She liked to get places early. Find a place to sit, watch those that came in and out, get herself comfortable. As she took a sip of the coffee in her hand, she looked up to see Cadie strolling in through the door. Her mother quick on her heels. The two looked slightly flustered, and the younger woman certainly looked like she had been in a fight or two possibly. Di sat up in her seat, watching the woman cross to her. As Cadie sat down, Di nodded in greeting, not able to get much out due to Lena coming and demanding questions. Diana's green eyes watched the exchange curiously. Only when Cadie turned back to her stating she was ready to talk did Di speak,"I thank- you both for coming today. I'm glad to hear you are ready to talk Cadence. Perhaps I can finally get to the bottom of this with your help and we can all be out of each other's hair. Will you be needing protection after this?" She asked the other woman across from her as she motioned for Lena to sit somewhere. From the mother-daughter conversation and the looks of Cadie, it seemed the valid answer to her question would be yes, but that was the girls choice. "Is there something in particular you would like to open the conversation with Cadence? Or should I just start with my questions?"Someone who stated they were ready to talk sometimes had something in mind that they wanted to say. It could close their mind to anything else if it wasn't said, so Di was prepared to let the woman speak. Especially if she was going to cooperate. Others however needed a little help getting started, and so questions would help lead them down the path.

Cadence nodded and cleared her throat. "Yes ma'am. I want it on the record the Angels never went looking for trouble. They always acted in defense of their families, club, and their livelihood." She sighed. "Ace and Law of the Outcasts are dead. Along with quite a few members of their MC. They along with a man named Dylan ordered the abduction, rape and torture of Grace, Maralyn and myself. They also ordered the deaths of several of the Angels and the Reapers. These men were killed during the rescue mission. By who, I have no knowledge. I was rescued and rushed away with the other women. The orignal dispute arose of territory, and the Outcasts desire to dispense drugs. The Angels were trying to keep them and their drugs out. The attacks launched on the Angels escalated and resulted in everything you see in that file. The fires, the deaths. All of that was the result of the MC having to do the local PDs job, since they pretend nothing is wrong." She paused to think. "You don't have enough power to keep me from what will happen to me. The KOR has power and connections. They are calling the shots around here now. That brawl last night was orchestrated by them." Cadence carefully removed her sunglasses. "My Mother knows nothing about any of the MCs. I want her gone before this interview continues. I do not want her or Tyson in danger because I tried to set the record straight." Lena was surprised and a bit annoyed by this turn of events.
She got up and moved away. She would respect her daughter's wishes. She really had no choice. So she walked around, leaving Cadence to the interview.
Cadence looked at Di for a moment. "The KOR has quite a few attorneys, officers and even judges in their pocket from what I gathered. Benjamin Drayton is the current President of the MC. He never gets his hands dirtied with the little things. The fact that he openly took place in that fight yesterday is actually interesting. They have their fingers in everything from, drugs, weapons and prostitutes to more legal affairs. Currently for the most part I don't often interact with that MC. Drayton is keeping me as a trophy currently...Not exactly sure why. I think because he knows it pisses some people off. I think he wants them to go after him. He is into mind games." She looked down as she thought. "Just ask...I am not sure what you want to know. I will answer whatever I can for you." She closed her eyes and wished the ground would just open up and eat her whole.

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette Outfit Di nodded as she listened to Cadie relate information she had mostly gathered already. At least it confirmed most of it. Looking back over her notes, she asked"Since Grace has had the most problems with these men, do you have any idea why she never filed a restraining order?" She was sure Cadie didn't, but she had to ask. Di wasn't sure she could get to the blonde herself. Not after Orion sacrificed himself.
When Cadie told her mom she had to leave, Di looked up at the woman as Lena left, waiting to hear what she would say next. She understood the need for things to not blow back on family. As she talked about the KOR, Di sighed,"Do you know by chance any of the names of people he has in his pocket? Could the KOR have been involved with anything that happened before?" As Di waited for Cadence to respond, she turned and grabbed something out of her purse before tossing it to the beat up brunette,"I may not be able to do anything for you now, or you may not want it. But on there is my number as well as 911 on speed dial. You need anything, call."

"I have no idea why Grace hasn't done ANYTHING to fight back. She seems to believe Dereck and Orion can protect her. I am not as naive. Those two ******** ups have their heads right up their asses. Morons. Both of them." Cadence paused. "The Judge I know for a fact that is Ben's pet.Julian Kingston. One of the Detectives...Greta Burke. Two beat cops. Fred Hemming, Riley Parker. There is another Judge...she may be. Her name is Megan Callahan. I am not sure about her... I know her and Ben have something romantic going..." She looked at what Agent Peck tossed at her. "Has Alex come up in your investigation? The Sheriff's son. He was killed and....it seemed strange. Alex wasn't with either Mc. I don't know if that ties into anything but it just seemed weird."

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette Outfit "Well thanks to her, those two men very might have some time in lockup. My partner's ready to ditch this town. And they are the easy suspects." Diana held up a hand to stop Cadence's surely onslaught of outrage,"I know this all isn't them. I'll be doing what I can to get them out. But you also got to understand, right now, without this coming through, it all points to those two."She explained.
As Cadence continued to name names of those associated with Ben, Diana wrote them down. Damn this was going to get ugly, real ugly, before it got any better. That was for sure. A sigh escaped Di's lips as she ran a and through her brunette waves."Do you know if an Officer Mendez was working for him?" It would be her luck if that matched up. If Ben was that connected it probably would all get thrown out. Just like Ben's was sure to be now. Her green eyes looked up to Cadie as she mentioned Alex, and she nodded,"Yea, Alex's name has come up. Certainly was a strange coincedence, but right now his death has been a dead end. Just like Ace and Law. Nothing found on it. Unlike Ace and Law, they did find Alex's whole body." And that was really all she could say. That investigation had been closed, the body buried, the family grieving. Which it looked like Di would have to be opening all those wounds again.."I'm going to be honest with you Cadence. If I start looking into these people you've named, s**t's going to get very dicey, very fast. Wherever you're staying, doesn't seem to be safe. Are you sure you don't want to be placed at a safe house? I can get someone to watch you there, or you can choose someone. If you don't trust that, I can put you up myself."

'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up ~Cadence Jaycey Sinclaire-Caine~ Cadence lifted a hand, as if to silence Diana's words about the MCs. "I know. I know. I know how it looks. My poor boys look like thugs, and common criminals on the surface. Just dig. Dig deeper. Now for the Reapers....I know d**k about their business, and I don't care to know their business. Very very briefly I was interested in Dereck. During that time nothing but trouble. His MC operates differently than my brother's. Grace will never talk to you about them, or their business. I won't sit here and lie, or point fingers at them. Devil...uh...Tiberius name will show up in association with the Reapers. Another victim of the Outcasts. Dev was an a*****e, but he was a good guy. He just didn't want others to know that. Maybe his son's Mother could help with your investigation. She lives in Greensville still. Not sure if she knows anything though." Cadence listened to what Diana said. "Alex...Alex had problems. He kept them under wraps for the most part. He was a drunk and a gambler. I suspected drug use but...by them I was trying my hardest to distance myself from him completely. It didn't work. I filed two restraining orders against him, orders that never went into effect because the paperwork mysteriously disappeared. Domestic abuse reports that also seemed to vanish. Nothing made it before a Judge. I have no proof but I believe Alex had his Father pulling strings for him where we lived. Alex was unstable, but I really thought he had turned his life about this time. He and I had broken up, he was doing meetings, and I had moved. Changed my number and fell off the radar. He had been obsessed with me, no idea why. Maybe because I always cleaned up his messes and forgave him. I have my own issues, and when I was with Alex...hard to explain. I had settled for a bad violent and dysfunctional relationship because I felt like that was the best I could do. Better a guy who knocks you around, and stalks you, or goes into a jealous rage rather then one who isn't around or emotional available. Again, my issues allowed Alex's issues to thrive. I am ashamed to admit that, but it is the truth. By the time I tried to get away...when I finally realized I couldn't save Alex. That he didn't want help, it was too late. We had done that dance for two years. Took almost another year for me to be able to really get away. My step father's death pulled me back here. I had no intention of staying. A week turned into two weeks, and that turned to a month. By then...I wanted to leave but couldn't. I was emotionally attached to a few people, and then...I decided to make the move. Just stay here because it's not like I had much of a life where I was. Not to mention that was around the time I discovered I was pregnant. Surprise." She gave a humorless laugh. "I went home, to get the move under way. Or at least that is what I thought I was doing. Once I was there I wasn't sure if I wanted to move. I went to my apartment and it was trashed. Someone had been there and when I tried to leave...a group of men were there. I remember a what felt like a pinch, a burning sensation. I woke up and there were men telling me Alex owed them money. I tried to explain I had nothing to do with him and that earned me a slap. They kept saying he would pay up for his fiancee. Problem was....I wasn't her. They forced me to work for them. Not sure how long and one day Maralyn shows up. They force her to work for them too. In fact she agrees to take my place. She seemed to know one of the more important men. He seems to control the drugs that flow around there. You hear people talk. His name is Dylan.... We are there for....a few weeks. About six weeks together, I was there two or three weeks before Lyn arrived. I have no idea how or why they brought her. I mean....other than the fact that Dyan is a complete friggin' psychopath. He makes me look sane, the guy is so whacked. Scary crazy. That calm I will smile in your face while I cut your fingers off crazy. Anyway...Alex was with the Angels when we were traded. Money for us....Lyn's cousins are with the Angels. We were saved for the moment and Alex turned up dead shortly after this. His Father, the Sheriff thinks I had a hand in it. I didn't. Alex came back to me the night of the rescue. He was drunk, and acting crazy again. Scary crazy but Killian grabbed him. He told me he would see to it Alex got home. Alex snapped and tried to go after Killian. Killian didn't engage him at first but Alex continued. So....eventually Killian did swing. Four blows. That is it. I swear, that is all it was. Four hits. Kill said he would make sure Alex got him. I never told anyone that. I was afraid it would make Killian look bad. Soon as I learned Alex was dead I confronted Killian. Killian promised he had nothing to do with it. He said Alex stumbled drunken to his car. Killian said he left him because he had dropped his keys and was crawling around trying to find them. Killian says he was with Mary Beth the rest of the night, I asked her about it and she said she was with him. Mary Beth passes through from time to time. She hasn't been here in a while but I have her number. I was preparing in case it ever came out Killian was last seen with Alex. Things seemed like they would eventually get back to normal....and then we were all abducted again. I didn't know what was going on. I had been trying to distance myself from the Club. The night I was taken I was riding with a Prospect from the hospital. Kong was injured in an attack. I stayed with him a while. There was several things that went down that night. the fires to the home of our Aunt Celeste, several business for the Reapers and Angels, attacks, all attacks planned by the Outcasts who were working with Dylan. Grace, Lyn and I were taken I think as bargaining chips. Especially Grace. Sister of one President, lover of the other. She was bound to have juicy secrets too. Everything about that night is confusing and foggy. The pain, drugs, and everything that happened...it was just too much. A lot of it I seemed to have blocked out. I remember there was a man named Tommy..." Cadence paused and swallowed hard. "I possibly killed him. He was the man they had sent to torture Lyn and I. He enjoyed it. Made us watch each other as he did what he did. When they finally unchained us...I attacked him. I beat him with the same bat he used on me. I remember a crunch and not much else. Next thing I know I am in the hospital. My Mom is ripping into someone, which isn't me oddly enough." Cadence shrugged her shoulders. "Next few months I spend building a life far from the Club. Killian and Lincoln are the only ones I willingly dealt with. I stop by the Club from time to time to help Moira. She schedules fundraisers, organizes Swap Meets and Bake Sales that benefit a few different public things in town. She often needs help and I often am really free. So anything the boys were up to in the last couple of months....I have no idea. I stay out of their business. " Cadence glanced at the time. "I have to leave soon...Officer Mendez is a pig. He could have been working for Ben. I suspect he was. I haven't the proof I need to confirm it. He messed with Grace, hurt her even, but never so much as dared to look my direction. It made me believe Ben had told him I belonged to him. He definitely was the one who lead me off to secret meetings with Ben on multiple occasions. He wasn't the only one though. Another guard named Nelson. He knew that Ben was having a sexual relationship with me. He outright asked me if I would need Plan B, because he didn't want a pregnancy coming back to bite the guards in the a**." She twisted a strand of hair nervously. "I can't leave...If I leave Ben will go after my Mother and little brother. He already has threatened to because YOU are investigating, and he thinks my Mother put you up to it. Which....actually seems pretty accurate now. I can't go into hiding if it endangers my family, or the Club. After he goes after my family he will go after the Club. That means...my Mother, my brothers, my sister in law, my nephews, and niece, my Jasper, and then all my friends. People like Moira who do nothing but good in the community. All because I tried to get away." She shook her head. "If I end up dead....well then....there goes Ben's leverage. He won't kill me yet. He will keep me around because Orion's his puppet, I'm the strings and he is the puppet master. Manipulating us all just the way he wants too. Besides...who else is able to get the inside dirt on the KOR?" Cadence stood up. "Just....keep my family safe. Besides Ben isn't the only one you would have to keep me from." She put her sunglasses on. "I have to get back to my fancy new prison." With that said she walked away. Cadence felt like if she mentioned Black being after her, then that made all the Angels look really bad. That night Ben returned to the Condo briefly. He seemed to think better of messing with Cadie that day. She was pleased to see he was beat up and battered looking too. She would have to thank her brother some day. She watched from across the room as he swore and clutched his side. He lifted his shirt to reveal stitches that had popped. She was satisfied that she had cut him with that knife enough that he needed stitches. She got up and moved into the bedroom. She locked the door, and moved to the closet. She clutched the knife she had hidden in there and settled herself on the large closet floor. The next day was a great day for Cadence, it was already well after 2pm and no sign of Ben. She was pleased that he seemed a bit afraid or at least wary of her. He finally accepted that she was dangerous, and would defend herself. She hoped that meant the attacks would slow. All dreams of that dashed when Ben and a few friends exploded through the bedroom door. The two other men simply held her down for Ben, but it was a definite statement. It was his way of sending her the message that he was the one with the power in the relationship. He let the others grope at her and touch her but do nothing more. He dismissed them, and she knew that was part of the unspoken threat he was sending. He would let his friends loose on her if she continued to be difficult. That brought back too many horrible memories of her days forced to work off Alex's debt. The fear and wave of sickness she felt was too great. She rather be subjected to Ben regularly then all sorts of different men several times a day. She would never be able to survive that. After that day Cadence simply stopped fighting. She allowed Ben to just do as he wished to her. She did her best to go numb, allow him to do the deed. This lucky for her allowed her some more freedoms after a while. He had convinced himself they were in a relationship. That she was his girlfriend. This delusion earned Cadence one of his credit cards and access to his car. Even a cell phone! Sure she was still being monitored, just not like before. She had a body guard, but he wasn't as bad as he could have been. Her cast was off and she was able to drive herself places now, so the car was really key to the bits of freedoms she was allowed. Freedoms that grew as the weeks passed by. Cadence was grateful to finally have been allowed out without a bodyguard. It had been just over a month since she had 'joined' the KOR, or really 'accepted' Ben. She always had a member breathing down her neck if it wasn't Ben himself. She was staying at Ben's Condo alone, not at the house with him. She had convinced him the Condo was perfect for her. It only had two bedrooms, it had on site parking, there was not getting in or out of the building without checking in at the desk. It allowed her some privacy, but she was still 'safe'. Cadence parked the car that she was using. It was Ben's of course. Her life revolved around the man anymore. She hated it, but they was nothing she could do about it now. She was playing his game, and by his rules now. He had her phone, and the car tracking her whereabouts at all times. He had someone take her to her doctor appointments, and until today they were doing her grocery shopping too. Ben even controlled the money, which was all his since he had confiscated all of her cards, and he even dictated her schedule. She bar tended at the Club's bar Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights because he worked late those nights. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons he went to the Condo to have a lunch date with her. Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights either he stayed at the Condo with her or she had to go to his house. Thursday afternoons and a few hours on Sunday were the only time she got to see her Mother. Wednesdays were reserved for her Doctors' appointments. Ben even confiscated her phone, and gave her one that he had activated for her. He changed the code for her voicemail every couple of weeks, and he did the same with the internet at the Condo. By far the worst part to her was that she was alone. She had no friends, and Ben was the only person she knew. So as much as she wanted to hate him, she often was happy to see him because he was the only familiar and friendly face in her life in this town. Her Mother smuggled her a very basic small flip phone. She stashed it so Ben wouldn't find it. It at least allowed her to exchange texts with her Mother, Orion, Grace and even a few times Jasper. Cadie didn't often text Jasper though because it made her cry inconsolably. She also knew it wasn't good for him. She couldn't give him false hope that they would ever be together, because it just wasn't possible. Ben was making sure of that. Cadence sat in the parked car listening to music and trying to calm herself. Ben had texted her that he was in the Condo waiting for her. He had a 'romantic' dinner planned for them. She mentally cringed at the thought of the after dinner activities. He wasn't a bad lover, she just had no desire for him or his attention. He could get rough with her if she tried to refuse, or if he became overly frustrated with her. So normally she just drank, and drank. Often two bottles of wine herself, so she wasn't really aware of what he was doing. It pissed him off, but it was the one small pleasure she had left. Pissing him off, though she had to be careful in doing so. He purposely kept her Mother away for a week, just to show both Cadence and Lena that he was the one calling the shots. Not them. Finally the song ended and Cadie knew she could not stay out in the car forever so she got out of the car. A very nice and new Mercedes Benz SL450 in black. The windows were lightly tinted, which she hated. She already had problems with her night vision. She stepped out of the car, walked around to the back of the car and immediately heard heavy footsteps and felt a searing pain in her side. A strong hand gripped her long dark hair and forced her head forward. Her head was slammed against the trunk of the car several times. Her attacker jerked her back up and shoved her to the ground. Immediately the male began to kick her. Cadence gripped her bleeding side as it finally hit her, that this person had stabbed her. She was in a daze from the hits to her head, and the pain. Her attacker grabbed a handful of her hair. He savagely began to hack through it with the bloodied knife. Cadence finally screamed and immediately the man punched her hard in the face. That was the last thing she remembered. Cadence had no way of knowing who her attacker was, but she was sure she knew what she was attacked. Cadence also had no way of knowing the man had intended to kill her that night, but had been driven off when two teenagers sneaking out had spotted the attack in the parking garage. They had hit the panic button, and started yelling for help. The attacker hopped in his dark colored plate-less SUV and took off. Without those teenagers intervening she would had been beaten to death. Lena burst through the hospital doors, shaking and crying. She was in a panic. She had received the call that her daughter had been rush to the hospital, she was the victim of a vicious beating. Initially Lena had though Ben had attacked her daughter but Ben had called her to let her know Cadence needed blood, and he was not a match. Orion arrived perhaps 15 minutes after Lena did. He had received a call from Grace who happened to be at the hospital and overheard a group of Nurses talking about Lena leaving the hospital because of an emergency with her daughter. Immediately Orion went to Lena and wrapped an arm around her. "What happened? What is going on? Have you talked to the doctors yet?" Ben immediately walked over and shoved Orion. "Leave! Your not wanted here!" Orion glared at Ben. "Touch me again and you'll need a Doctor ********! I'm not going anywhere until I see my damn sister!" Ben stepped up and immediately Lena stepped between the men. "Stop it! Stop it!" She screeched and smacked Ben across the chest. "Orion has every right to be here, that is his sister laying in there! Besides it was probably your damn Crew who did this to her!" She pushed Ben as hard as she could. "You're responsible for this you b*****d!" Orion wrapped his arms around Lena and picked her up. Her turned away from Ben, with Lena in his arms. "Shhh! Lena, calm down. Talk to me okay? Talk to me. Tell me what happened." Orion said as he tried to calm the older woman. He set her down, and slipped an arm about her trembling shoulders. "My Crew wouldn't dare touch Cadence. They already know if a single hair on her is harmed, their are steep consequences. So before you go accusing me, and my people Lena, you might want to ask that piece of s**t there what he has told his people. See if he has given the green light on Cadence." Orion whipped around and went right in Ben's face. "Cast out. Immediately. Burned out, jumped out. My men know the consequences for going after my sister. Besides that, I have nothing but love for my sister. She may have made a bad decision when she decided to roll with you and your Crew, but I don't hold that against her. She has always been there for the AA." Orion fought his instinct to attack Ben there in the middle of the hospital. He couldn't believe Ben would even think he would Green light his own sister. The thought made him physically ill. It was a long time before the doctor finally came out to speak to Lena. Orion stayed with her, holding her hand for support. The doctor explained that Cadence was in a coma, and that there was swelling of her brain. They were not sure what her mental capacity would be until the swelling subsided and she was awake. She had broken, ribs, a collapsed lung, a broke jaw, a broken leg and arm. She needed stitches for the stab wound in her right side, and she had underwent a blood transfusion. Some of the more minor injuries she had sustained was a cracked collar bone, a dislocated arm, and two broken fingers, along with various cuts and bruises. The doctor warned both Lena and Orion that Cadence would not be recognizable for a while. Not until the swelling, bruising and wounds began to heal. "It looks bad, but keep in mind it is a miracle she even survived. So let's just focus on the good here. She is a fighter." The doctor said calmly. Orion nodded his head and braced himself. He slipped an arm about Lena's shoulders again. He gave her a moment to prepare herself before he stepped in the room with her. They moved the curtain that surrounded her bed back and Lena lost it. Orion felt like what he was seeing was straight out of a horror movie. Cadence, he had to take the Doctor's word that it was in fact his half sister was unrecognizable. She was so swollen, bruised, cut, bandaged up. Her jaw was wired shut. Lena was crying and shaking. She turned into Orion. Her face buried in her hands. Her sobs shook her entire frame. "Who could do this?! Who could do that to my baby?!" She demanded clearly still in disbelief. She stood there crying for a couple of minutes before she composed herself enough to actually go to Cadence. She placed her hand over her daughter's, and leaned down and kissed her forehead. "Monsters even cut her hair off!" Lena cried and recoiled for a moment. The hair was insult to injury she felt, and slowly she regained her composure. "My baby....my poor baby girl. I will find out who did this. I promise you Cadie." She sat down beside her finally and took her daughter's hand inbetween hers. "I can't. I can't. I'm so sorry." Orion finally said and he barely contained the anguished cry as he hurried out the room. He hurried pass Ben and away from the hospital. Lena und3erstood the horror Orion was feeling, she wanted to run too. To get away from the nightmarish monster that was her daughter currently. She couldn't and wouldn't though. This was her daughter, her baby. She would never leave her side. Only once he was in the car did he allow himself to breakdown. He cried, hit his steering wheel for a bit, cursed and yelled a bit. He was so angry and had no idea where to direct that anger. Who he could hurt in retaliation for what they had done to his sister. It took him a while but he calmed down and regained control of himself. He called his wife and hoped he sound normal. "Grace, I am on my way home. Don't bother coming to the hospital. She can't have visitors right now." Orion lied to his wife because he did not want her to see Cadence like that. Yes she saw all sorts of horrible s**t all day for a living, but this was different. this was a family member. That sort of thing stuck with you. He backed out of his parking spot and headed home to his wife. He needed to see her, and hold her, and know she was okay. ~Candie~ But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength And just pull that sh*t out of you and get that motivation to not give up And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse. ~Eminem

Archie Thompson
Archie had been hanging around with Lena more and more. One could even go as far as saying that the pair were in a steady relationship. Always going out for dinner, even taking Tyson along with them when needed. But, when Lena received the call about her daughter, Archie didn't hesitate to drive to the hospital with her. Even when Ben seemed to get in Lena's face, Archie stood tall and moved in front of the small woman. "It'd be smart of ya not to do that." He murmured, locking eyes with Ben. Archie was a big man, standing tall at 6'3 and quite muscular, still. He didn't move until Ben finally backed down, and only then did he sit next to Lena, rubbing her back gently. There were no words that could be said about what had happened, because there was nothing that could make this situation any better. All he could do now was be there for her, and when she left with Orion to go and see Cadence, he stayed in the waiting room. It was not only the polite thing to do, but he wasn't sure he wanted to intrude on Lena's time with her daughter.

OUTFIT
Grace had been at the hospital briefly when she heard nurses talking about Cadence, and that she was currently in the OR dealing with a bunch of different injuries. So, she did what she felt needed to be done and let Orion know about it. However, she didn't stick around long because there were a few things that needed to get done, and she was dealing with a fussy baby. Nobody needed to hear that. She also called Jasper, letting him know the details that she knew, before finally making her way home with Thomas. Of course she was worried about Cadence, but there was nothing she could do for her at the hospital that she couldn't do at home. She wasn't working anymore, so she would basically be sitting around and watching her, waiting for something. After getting home and feeding Thomas, then finally putting him to sleep she called Killian, and even though it went to his voicemail, she told him about what had happened, and that Orion was probably going to need him to come back.
After that she changed into some comfy pajamas and started to clean the kitchen. It was dark outside, but she still wasn't ready to go to sleep. Cleaning was the next best thing. When Orion called her, she paused her cleaning to see what he had to say. "Okay...I'll be here. Thomas is asleep, so try to be quiet..." When she finished the phone call she made a face and looked down at the phone. He didn't sound like his normal self, but why would he? He had every right to be upset about seeing his sister. Grace placed her phone on the counter and continued her cleaning, finally moving outside to take the trashcan to the road.

Orion entered the house quietly. He was still shaken up but he had himself pretty much under control. He took his boots off and went straight into the kitchen. He poured himself a large drink. He probably needed more then the half bottle of whisky left to get that image out of his head.
He pulled out his phone and called Titus. He tried to sound casual, like nothing was wrong when things were wrong. Things were very wrong. "Hey Rion, what's up?" "Is Black still out of ton?" "Yeah. Far as I know. He isn't due back for another couple of days." "I want verification he is where he says he is." "Okay, first thing in the morn..." "No. I want it now." Orion snapped and Titus grew silent. "Rion...." "No damn excuses. I want it done, and I want it done now." "On it." Titus hung up on Orion. He immediately started doing some digging.
Orion started at his phone as it vibrated and rang. It was Killian, and he was actually dreading the call from him. "Hey..." "Black is at fault. You know this." "Killian you have been coming and going for months. You can't throw accusations out like that." "I will prove it." Killian hung up. He would prove it and be the one to punish Black.
Lena finally emerged from the room. She hurried to Archie as her eyes sparkled with unshed tears. She buried her face against his chest. She swallowed down the sobs that were trying to arise. She would not lose it here. She had to remain strong. There would be many more obstacles to face.

Archie Thompson
Archie held his arms open, allowing Lena to come to him and bury her face in his chest. His large hands rubbed down her spine, leaning down to press his lips to the top of her head. "This act won't go unpunished, Lena. You know that." Being a prior MC member himself, he knew that things like this always got taken care of. It might take time, but it will happen. He wasn't really sure what else to do for the woman, because he didn't have kids himself. But, if he had been around when any of that s**t had happened to Grace, he probably would have lost it himself. When her and Dereck's parents died, he had been there for them, as much as he could. He loved those two like his own, that's for sure. "Let's head down tot he cafeteria, get ya something in your stomach, yeah?"

Grace was in the garage when Orion got home, and upon walking inside she had only heard the tail end of his conversation with Killian. So, she was sure to tread easy because Orion was certainly not in a good mood. So, she moved into the kitchen, leaning against the counter for a moment. Do you want me to make you something? Or go pick you up some takeout?" He had poured himself a large drink, and the last time he had drank that much things went downhill, so she couldn't help but eye his glass cautiously.

Agent Diana Peck-Kochette Outfit Diana had taken note of all Cadie had told her during their one meeting. It had been a very good amount of information, even if some of it she had found out already or heard. But another voicing it, helped to ensure it was correct. The only good thing that had happened in the weeks to follow was that Mendez had been convicted and was now behind bars at the state prison, away from all his friends. However Ben's suspension had been lifted, and as much as she dug, there was hardly anything shady to convict any of his friends Cadie had mentioned. They were all careful, as careful as Ben was with the KOR. Since that night at the brawl they hadn't been back out.
Di hadn't been able to stop Trebolt from arresting Orion and Dereck, either. But as good to her word, she got both men out as soon as she could prove their actions were out of self defense instead of just retaliation or to start something in town. However that didn't mean the men were any more grateful. Now her link to any information from the Angels had been severed though, as Orion wouldn't talk to her either. While they had been behind bars, Di had gotten the chance to finally talk to that Lyn girl. Who only told her about Dylan, Tommy, and how she had gotten wrapped up in that whole thing Cadence was a part of because of Tommy.
So once again, she was back at square one with no sold way to put those that needed it away. Sure she had her own theories, but Di knew better than to try to get those to stand up in court without evidence. To top it off, Tre was as good as his word, leaving soon after the two men were in jail and his report had been filed. Also true to his word, once he left, Di didn't have a single friend in town. None of the cops wanted anything to do with her and neither did the MC's she was trying to help.
After recieving the call that Cadence had been checked into a hospital nearby for a number of injuries and was in a coma, Diana stood in the doorway of Alyvia's room. Watching the seven year old sleep. Her presence at the hospital wouldn't help. Wouldn't change anything. Cadie couldn't talk to her while in a coma, plus there was sure to be a bunch of people there. So now what did she do? . ,
