(You did mess up on damage calc, this is correct, however the mistake I'm afraid I must inform you is that there is none. We both rolled the same number. That means it missed on both sides. No damage.)
[EDIT: I flinched for the record. When you roll 5+ higher using Stomp it causes Flinch.]
The Sandile would give the Mudkip a look of confusion, was it really so sensitive to heat that it would react as if struck even to a few stray sparks? Then what was it doing so close to a Volcano? Snorting steam and sand from it's nostrils, the Ground-type wpould hop back and narrow his eyes. He would not be fooled! This was a Water-type after all!
Sweeping his tail the Sandile would scatter sand across the ground, tiny rocks hidden within. True they wouldn't do any damage, but it would certainly make running towards him....unpleasant. He only need fo4r the Mudkip to falter!

A lovely, haunting set of tones would ring out over the middle path. Their source was a Lunatone, which hovered just out of reach-- he orbited the rocks in a wide path, not coming too close to the human or his Pokemon. It seemed the Lunatone was lost in his own little world, too far gone to acknowledge Hiro..
17-5+5-7=10 dmg to Sandile! Sandile flinched! (Uh? Alright, so die roll takes precedence over stats for accuracy....Okay, I'll keep that in mind.)
Seret felt the satisfying impact of its own attack. The small rocks hidden in the now sandy terrain did little to stop the pokemon from striking the Sandile. Maybe that was sheer luck in where it had stepped. The attack was powerful enough to allow the Mudkip to strike again in succession. The water-type came in again once again for another attack. If he can beat his opponent now he won't have to worry about getting hurt!

"... Vorpal, what's so funny?" Alice asked, glancing down at the Honedge in her arms. He was making an odd and light metallic sound that she'd come to recognize as laughter. Her Pokemon wasn't the most jovial of sorts, so she didn't hear the sound too often... so what had set him off? As far as she could tell, nothing particularly interesting had occurred. Maybe he was just pleased that the Drifloon had found a friend to share his cookie with.
>DIVORCE HIM, HELEN,< Vorpal managed between fits of hysterical snickers. >YOU DESERVE BETTER.< Unfortunately, he'd picked up some bad habits from the boys at the lab and their TV-- in particular, a guilty pleasure of enjoying domestic drama. Even the most stoic of swords could be a bit strange.
The robot girl smiled, pleased to see her Pokemon in good spirits... pun not intended. Given how high they were getting on this strange path, she was starting to get nervous. How much longer was this trail? Where did it lead? Would it take her to the other side of the island? Hugging Vorpal close to her chest, she begin her ascent once more.

(9 - 7) + (8 - 9) = 1dmg to numel.
The acid landed on the numel, but it wasn't doing a lot of damage. Kiani was at a loss for what to do, but Korbin had an idea. The numel didn't seem like it wanted to continue the battle, so Korbin was going to offer it a way out.
"> It seems as if you don't want to continue the battle. How about we call it a draw and go our separate ways. All my trainer and I want to do is get back to the academy. <" Korbin said.
(That's always been how it is. Accuracy is quite literally what the roll is for.)
The Sandile gave a faint cluck of it's tongue before hunkering down. Apparently that last attack had rattled his bones more than he'd been expecting.

The sight of the Lunatone actually caught Hiro's attention. A psychic and rock type, the boy was tempted to go aver it, except, this one seemed a bit spacey. Not the strong type that should join his group of pokemon, and thus, the boy would let it go. It wasn't worth it to him to go after a pokemon that didn't seem to radiated strength, because, that was the type he wanted for his team. Thus, he continued onwards, and ignored the pokemon completely as he continued upon his chosen path.
Fluke would simply scamper behind Hiro as they both left the floatie pokemon to itself.
Further and further into the crater they would go, deeper and deeper into the heart of the island. Hiro of course was simply looking for one last strong pokemon to add to his team, while his current pokemon looked at the world around them in wonder. Scampering close to the edge of their currently stepping stone, he would look downwards into the lands before. The Dwebble could only wonder what made these stones float. His mind going to many things, like maybe, there were colonies of Magnemites underneath this very stones, or maybe, some strong pokemon like Aggron was holding up the huge mounds of earth from underneath.
Either way, this new land was amazing ...even though Fluke would never want to live here. Thus he kept up with his trainer as they continued onwards through this place.
(No, I was just under the wrong impression. I thought the stat was implemented along with the roll when determining the hit. And now I know. Also, hit no damage.)
Seret as the second attack grazed the Sandile, not quite hitting his target. The water-type made a small retreat in order to stay away from his opponent's jaws. He kept light on his feet, in case he needed to dodge.

The Roselia had managed to avoid the air slash targeted at her. That was food for thought. The Emolga did have a point! She then began to throw pieces of cotton at her opponent, trying to slow her down. It was a cotton spore attack!

As the Pansear charged towards him, the Sudowoodo just smiled relaxed and at ease. Apparently he didn't regard the monkey as a threat. Or it was just in his nature to stay relaxed. Either way... the tree simply shifted to the left to avoid the attack!
The Shieldon had managed to knock out his last admirer. Well the fans never seemed to last very long...did they? Shaking his head at all the bodies piled around, he wouldn't be surprised when a flash of red light returned him to his pokeball and he was able to rest for a bit. Even someone like him needed sleep!
Jin-Hua looked amazed. Li had done above and beyond her expectations taking out the horde of Baltoy. It had been a good idea to add him to her team. That in mind, she continued on her way forward.
Gin barely glanced at the pokemon as he passed by. It looked weak. There was no gain for him if he battled it so it was pointless to bother. Power was one of his main goals and so picking on the weak definitely was not on his agenda. With that in mind and Takeshi still seated on his shoulder, the shinobi continued forward at a cautious and alert state.
