"I'm Kotarou." he told her. "Um mind if I ask what you guys are doing here?" he asked realizing how stupid it sounded after he said it. Asking why they were here when he too was here cuz of them.
"What did you say you stupid cat?" Asuka yelled at the cat starting to get angry.
Kotarou turned to Asuka, "Asuka, calm down." he said sitting straight up and pulling her back away from the cat.

If Domeki was transformed into his panther form, he would have been tempted to tear the insignifigant little girl into pieces and then some. But the fact was, he wasn't, so he sat up and stared intently at her as the boy held her back. It took only a little remark to get on Domeki's bad side, and "stupid cat" was certainly one of them. He wasn't about to be taken lightly; not to this girl.
Taerel ran to Domeki and picked him up. The sleek, black fur on Domeki's back stood up straight as he narrowed his eyes.
"Domo-kun, I think you're overreacting.." she smiled sympathetically down at the small, black cat.
She then looked up at the boy. She really didn't know the answer to his question herself, other than her own reasons of motivation.
"I could ask the same to you." she replied, smiling at the boy. She would normally hold out her hand as a greeting, but her hands were both occupied with the cat that now layed in her arms.
"I'm Taerel."

Kai grunted a little, looking at the small tree beside the camp fire. "Stupid girl... Doesn't she even realize that she should take it easy?" He silently asked himself, showing a bit of concern in his voice. He shrugged. The wood he had collected already would be enough for the night, and of course he would save the embers for the next day. Kai looked up at the stars, which began to bleed through the evening sky. Only about an hour till the sun fully set. Though he was confident Amitia would bring back food, he was used to eating whenever he pleased. So be walked down into the cave, then down the natural stair case of rocks, to the surface and began scouting out something to forage or kill.

Kotarou looked at Taerel as she picked up the cat, "Sorry about that." he said giving a nervous smile "She didn't mean to insult him, right Asuka?" he asked looking at her.
"Right." she said like a child in trouble.
"Good." he said as he looked back at Taerel as she asked a question. "Hm? Why am I here?" he asked making sure he got the right question.

Taerel's soft, purple eyes looked up at the boy with curiousity. She let out a soft laugh and replied jokingly, "I dunno. You tell me."
Domeki relaxed his shoulders slightly and let his fur down to rest on his back, still offended by the girl's comment. He closed his eyes as Taerel gently petted him. He let out a low purr, looking cautiously from the girl to the boy, and then back again.

Candy stood up and dusted herself off. She was confused about what was going on, but just stared blankly over the horizon. Whenever she catches herself thinking about an interesting subject, she dozes off and ponders it.
Who's Asuka? Can he see something that normal humans cannot see?
Hm... I wonder what spirits look like. Do they look like those cartoon ghosts on television or are they more human-like?
Gently, she held her locket and wondered if everybody was alright now. She sighed in relief and was proud of the work she had done to help the ones she almost saw as friends. Then she wondered if this journey would be the key to get her away from Ginger.

"Ehehe to tell you the truth, I don't know why i'm here. First i'm resting by the training center next thing I know Asuka here is dragging me off going on about some artifact and such then we end up here." he told her rubbing the back of his head a bit embarresed.

"I.. see." she said, frowning slightly and looking down at his reply, the large, white ribbon in her hair mimicking her head's motions.
Normally, Taerel wouldn't be able to see spirits or anything of the sort. But, ever since her pact with Domeki, she has gained the ability to see them normally and effortlessly. She turned to the girl floating next to Kotarou, not noticing that she was, in fact, a spirit.
"And.. you must be Asuka." she smiled politely.

"Y-Yes." Asuka stuttered. She was surprised Taerel could see her, then she realized that the boy form earlier, Kai, was also able to see her. These people are different then normal people. She thought to herself.
Kotarou slowly stood up fully, feeling a better but still a bit sore. "You ok Candy?" he said as he waved a hand slowly infront of her face noticing she seemed to be spacing out almost.

Taerel frowned at the boy's actions once more. Her expression lightened as she turned to face Candy. She kneeled down, level with the girl. Her pink hair and white ribbon trailed down with her.
"Can I be of any help, Candy?" she smiled, setting Domeki down next to her. She was slowly regaining her energy.
A gust of wind sped past the trail and hit Taerel gently in the face. Her hair swayed to the right and her ribbon threatened to fly away. A chill was sent up her spine and she shuddered, squinting her eyes shut. She looked up at the dimming sky, her attention flickering to the vast stars.
"Pretty..!!" she stated, the stars reflecting in her purple eyes.

Candy blinked and gasped. "Not the onions! OH GOD NOT THE ONIONS!!"
Every time she was brought out of a daze, she would shout something completely random that didn't have to do with anything. Some people frowned upon it, while others made fun of her. It was a mystery she had yet to solve about herself.
After her little piece of randomness, she blinked a couple times again and blushed.
"O-oh hi!" she stuttered. "Sorry about that. I was just thinkin'... Oh? Help?"
She put her pointer finger to her chin and gazed at the stars. "Ah! It looks like the constellations are quite magnificent this evening... Which reminds me, we should all get to the cave that Kai found before it's too dark."

Kotarou was taken back a bit by Candy's little outburst. But he decided to let it go so as not to bring up something that could embarrese her. He looked up at teh sky aswell gazing at the stars. It was interesting, with how much Kotarou and Asuka had been wandering they never seemed to really stop at and look at the stars.

"Ack!!" Taerel shouted and fell backwards from suprise.
W-Wha..?
She sat up quickly and pulled a loose strand of pink hair from her face. She couldn't help but laugh at Candy's sudden outburst. She replied without thinking of the possibility of Candy becoming embarrassed. "I don't think onions are going to threaten us anytime soon.." she assured Candy jokingly.
She followed Candy's blue eyes returned her gaze at the stars. "Hm. I suppose so." she smiled.

Blushing, Candy laughed with Taerel at her randomness. It made her feel good to make people laugh and smile, though she hasn't had a chance for such a long while.
"I'm so sorry for startling you two," she giggled as she hit her head with the palm of her hand. "I can be a silly goose sometimes... Well, shall we head up?"

Taerel's attention flickered to Candy. She clapped her hands together. "Alright!"
She stood up and extended her hand out to Candy to help her up. "Let's go!" she grinned.
