Aonice smirked, she had never seen such an array of tattoos or piercings, and had atleast found it rather interesting. She hoisted herself up onto the counter, her large backside comfortably taking up a good amount of space. She would cross her large, developed legs over one another and gripped her hands together, resting them on her large knees. "Cute, john" She smirked, "Perhaps i could wash your clothes later tonight too, and then you'd be all nice and fresh" She smirked warmly. "ANd yeah, a guy like you should have plenty of stories"

Rioushu licked his lips as he finished off of the rum, giving Aonice an uninterested stare as she called him annoying. "You're still thinking of the Illdian aren't you? Well don't worry, I suspect he'll be the one coming out during battles now that I've taken control, knowing me, won't be too long." Rioushu said, then turned to Gunyo. "Don't listen to Aonice, she's a bit sore that I didn't let her in my pants." Rioushu said plainly, though he was holding back a smirk.

It wasn't long before a small salt shaker was flying at Rio's ear, but Aonice just sat their, interested in John as if nothing had happened. "Ooh, Yeah, why are you hear, anyways?" She asked curiously, kicking her legs back and forth off the side of the counter.

Rioushu raised his hand and caught the salt shaker, thinking she had thrown it him for him to use. "Thanks, I needed one of these, don't got one at home." Rioushu said, then turned to John. "Yeah, should be interesting to hear, I too had sea troubles that lead me here." Rioushu said, though unlike John, he wasn't that good at naval transportation.

((Just for my own sake, i'm not going to accent this story. Too many words to deal with.))

And apparently everyone was interested in his story, and so John hunkered down on his stool, looking each in the eye and getting into 'the mood'.

"I'm not going to bore with most of my life, or the earlier adventuring stories. This is just my last voyage, and how I came to find this...gaia.

The ship in question was the lovely Poseidon’s Vengeance, and the captain was a bit odd. One of those few pirates that held to a code of morals. He gave spare loot to the poor, and upheld parlay's. He also avoided undue bloodshed. Anywho, I signed onto this ship as the group's cook. A fairly easy job, and one that made use of my skills.

Apparently, Captain Lucien had formed us to get vengance on his last crew. They didn't agree with his outlook on pirating, and mutinied. I was fine with that.

Well, we set out and began our hunt for his old ship, The Wild Ray. Along the way, I made friends with a particular man by the name of James Blackthorne. Good man. Anyways, the hunt took us a long time, years it seemed. Along the way we had to ambush a few merchant ships, but we spared most of their lives, and their ships. We needed the supplies. Suprisingly enough, most didn't even put up a fight.

Unfortunatly, our captain died of illness along the way. James, my friend, moved up from position as storyteller and first mate to take the role as Captain. James also swore to continue the captains legacy. Apparently, they were old friends.

Anyways, a few months later we found the ship, and engaged. It was a battle that seemed to last for days. Weaving about the water, each ship was trying to get in position for a solid shot, while dodging the others. In the end, while ours took damage, theirs was the one to sink. Unfortunatly, the bastards got latched to ours and swarmed aboard. Thus, the melee was engaged. And it was a heated battle, neither party wanted to give up the ship. However, the others proved to be the stronger and slowly started to push us back.

Mind you, I was right up on the front line, fighting along side my mates. They pushed us back, fighting down our way below deck. It was at this point we knew we were going to loose. There was only a few of us left. And so, we devised a plan. We managed to block a door off between us and the mutinious pirates. James in true heroism, snuck around the ship and made it back on deck without them knowing. From there, he was able to hoist down a cannon and bring it back to us. However, he failed to remember more ammo, and so we were left with only one shot and the enemy was breaking through.

We back away, retreating into the kitchen of the ship for one last stand. And forward they came, seemingly endless in their numbers. Now mind you, the other ship was much larger, and thus their crew outnumbered us from the beginning. We put up a steady line, but before long, it was just me and james left. There was nothing left to do. Aiming the cannon through the kitchen door, he fired it. And the shot took down scores of them, but there was still more.

This is where we got tricky. I held the door while he began to take the rum and make explosives out of them, launching them into the pirates. It looked like we were going to make it when water began to seem about my boots. The ship was sinking, and not only that, it was aflame! We were forced to abandon it, hurling ourselves out the window.

In the end, we killed the b*****d crew, but damn near sent all of ourselves to davy jones' locker in the process. Me and James swam for as long as we could, but our energy eventually gave out. I blacked out, and when I awoke, I found myself upon the shore of gaia."

John had finished his tale, and took his rum, drinking several large gulps. That was alot of wind.

Aonice blinked, "Wow, that really sucks, I couldn't stand the feeling of loosing an entire ship like that" She shook her head, "but then again, I've got the money to just go out and get a new one" She said to herself, thinking about what it'd be like.. "That is a good question though, will you be staying with us for a while?"
