" Would you rather I just embarass you in the restraunt ?" Micheal said playfully. Now that he knew he had... some chance at the lovely actor, he had this overflowing confidence running through him.

"Not at all!" Spencer said, trying to sneer back at the stage manager, but failed miserably at actually being upset with him. He stopped suddenly when coming upon the front desk where attendants awaited customers. "Two," he said, looking back at Michael. His gaze shortly followed down toward the hand he still held. He quickly dropped it, trying to give some sort of apologetic grin despite his embarassment.
He followed the attendant to their seat, a somewhat secluded booth and sat.

He sat down across from spencer and looked at the menu, hiding his face from Spencer to test something. He already found what he wanted, he just kept silent and his menu up. Waiting for a reaction from Spencer.

Spencer tried to keep his eyes on his own menu, but he couldn't help but keep glancing up at Michael. Was he being.. ignored? Surely he hadn't made the other upset by pulling away from him earlier. A slight frown marred his features. "Michael?" he said, leaning forward a ways. "What are you doing?"

Micheal poked his menu letting it plop onto the table. He smiled " Nothing. Just seeing if you would react." He picked up Spencer's hand and kissed it lightly. " and you don't need to worry, I'll never intentionally embarass you in public."

"Well, that's a relief," Spencer said sarcastically, shifting his hand upward to lace his fingers with Michael's own. "And when we're not in public? Does it count all the same or that a different subject altogether?"

Micheal smiled "when were not in public I can't promise anything. " He chuckled a bit. It felt great being this utterly confident without his migrain meds.

Well, if that was Michael's game, Spencer could play along himself. "Neither can I," he said, offering the stage manager a small grin. "In fact.. I'm not sure I can promise a whole lot while we're not in private." He wasn't sure how much he could follow through on his words, but they sounded good to him at the moment.

Micheal raised his brow. " Right, the man who was worried about being embarassed in public is going to try and embarass the guy who faked an orgasm to get you to open a door?" Micheal said referring to earlier in the day.

Ok, maybe he had a point.. But he wouldn't let him win just so easily. "Yeah, well.. That was before I knew you were gay," he defended. "You never know when the tables might turn in my favor."

The heavy door swung shut behind him with a loud bang, catching the attention of several of the people milling around backstage. Recognizing him as a member of the band by the black case he carried at his side, a few people called out a polite ‘Hello’ but failed to give him the opportunity to return the greeting before returning to whatever it was they had been busy with pre his arrival.
Brushing back a strand of hair that had fallen into his face Caden began to navigate his way towards the door that would lead him to the theatre’s house, and then to the pit. It was something of a challenge to weave between the groups of people and props without knocking his trumpet case into anything, but he somehow managed the act.
With a sigh of relief he pressed one hand against the bar and the door to the house swung open on well-oiled hinges. Stepping out from the backstage area and into the main house was almost like stepping into a whole other world: backstage was chaos and noise, here out front was calm and quiet.
At least at the moment.
Making his way to the pit he noticed that he was the first of the band members to arrive, an event that wasn’t so uncommon for the young trumpet player. As soon as others started pouring in he was sure the noise level would rise significantly as each of the band’s members began to set up and tune his or her instrument, filling the house with soft chatter and music.
Standing at the front of the pit a man rested his head against the stage behind him. Caden didn't regonize him as a band member which ment that he was either cast or crew, two groups of the company that Caden no just about no one in. Shrugging the young man decided not to intrude on what appeared to be a rare peaceful moment for the other and began to make his way to his seat.

With ears you would think he was born with for the job Shaquire heard the closing of the main back door... then again with the noise it made most any one would hear it. At first he made little of it thinking who ever it was was going to come in and go right back stage and get into what ever they had to do. Practice lines, final costume fixes or simply talking with someone else who wasn't busy.
Then he heard someone moving into the pit to take their place. Looing at his watch he noted the time and it was somewhat early for any musisions to be coming in so he turned to see the trupet player. It was normal for him to know names but when it came to pit he usualy just knew the conductors name and would tell him anything about the level of any instraments. "Hey, you guys are starting to come in already?"

Caden had been rummaging through his bag, trying to hunt down the folder containing the sheet music he would need for today’s rehearsal when the question was asked. Having not realized that his presence had been noticed and therefore not expecting the sudden question, his head snapped up, a slightly startled expression in his eyes. It lasted only a second before his head was bent again, one hand shuffling through the bag’s contents.
"I don’t think you’ll see any other band members for awhile yet." He answered, voice raised slightly to be heard over the sounds made as he rummaged through his bag. "I just like to arrive earlier for a better warm-up…HA! Found you!" The last triumphant exclimation wasn’t directed at the crew, or possibly cast, member but rather at the white folder now clutched in one of Caden’s hands, the words ‘Love 8539’ clearly visible on the front written in thick black marker.

The redhead turned his body around and watched with slight interest as the other went through his bag, his head at a small angle. "You're like me... well almost, In high school I could sometimes be hours early but then again, it's nice just to be in the theatre for me." He gave a slightly nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry, I don't remember your name..."

Caden wasn’t surprised to hear that his name wasn’t remembered; as a matter of fact he was pretty sure that the man hadn’t known his name at any time prior, either. The thought didn’t bother him. After all, he had no idea what his current conversation partner’s name was either, didn’t even know if he was cast or crew.
"It’s Caden." He informed as he placed the music folder on the stand before him, offering a small but friendly smile once he looked back up. "You know, I’d like to tell you that I remember your name, but I’m not sure that I ever knew it in the first place." He admitted honestly."Um, as a matter of fact, I don’t even know if you're a part of the cast or crew. All I really know for sure is you aren't part of the band." By the time he had finished talking and admitting his ignorance of the other's role in the production, his friendly smile had turned sheepish.
