Oh my. It's so peaceful in here... Dahlia entered the forest, clutching her flute. Maybe I can finally play here... She sat down under a tree and began to play a soft beautiful melody.

Issac entered the spooky forest. An erie feeling descended upon the area, and Issac felt as though anything might jump out of the forest. "Anyone else a little freaked out?" he asked as his hand rested on the hilt of his sword. He walked slyly into the bushes and jumped out in front of Shima. "BOO!" He yelled in a odd voice.

Sakura turned and giggled for a second, then turned back with n attept at a straight face. But at the same time, she still couldn't shake a wary feeling. She hadn't bought the bow she had whittled, but she still could turn into an angel if she wished.

Shima's mouth betrayed her emotions before anything else as Shima let a shriek escape her mouth. It was more of a playful squeal than a blood curdelling scream. She smiled sheepishly, then looked at her feet shyly. " Heh...You got me. "

Issac let out a laugh and then turned back around to get a fix on their surroundings. The forest seemed dense with trees and brushes, but wildlife seemed low. Perhaps the animals were just scared of Koians, Issac wasn't sure. "Hey, you guys wanna go deeper? I heard in the middle of the forest is a clearing with a shrine or something. Sounds interesting....." Issac said as he turned around again so he was facing them.

Shima nodded her head automatically. It wasn't a contest. If there was a way to get closer to nature, she would take it. She adjusted her earrings that enhanced her ability to hear animals. Even now, she could tell what the squirrel that ran past her feet was squeeking.

Issac glanced over at Sakura. He'd have to watch her carefully because she didn't really seem that brave. I wonder if she'll run if something bad happens...? he thought. Probably not. "So are you coming Sakura?" he asked again. Something in bushes altered him, it may have been an animal but something was definitely moving around. At the moment Issac found it to be no threat so he ignored it. The sound began to move deeper into the forest.

Sakura nodded, "Sure!" Since I'm already here, might as well... Sakura thought as she started walking again, at least she was with other people. it made everything seem less, scary. Sakura hightened senses detected the slightest of movements, so she knew she'd be ready.

Issac nodded and carefully began advancing towards the center of the forest. He was very alert, at every noise made he would grasp his swords hilt. It wasn't a very good sword, but it was good enough. After what seemed to be an hour the forest slowly began to dwindle until they were left in a giant clearing. Issac looked around in awe. The site was so very pretty, and here the wildlife was abundant. Several deer, rabbits, birds, and much more were busy going in one direction or another. Baby's could be seen playing, jumping and nipping at each other. Then, right in the middle, sat the shrine. It raised high into the air, almost looking like a pyramid. "Wow....So beautiful." Issac finally said.

Shima giggled as the small animals scurried about the group in a circle. Her eyes looked upward to the large shrine in front of them. She took a minute to take in the scenery, adoring every minute of the scenery. After a few seconds, she began feeling weak. Quickly, she looked at the sun in the sky. " It's almost time..... " She thought to herself. She looked over to Issac. " I'm sorry, but I have to stay in the dark for a while. It's a dark elf thing. " She explained apologetically. " Is the inside of the shrine dark? " She asked.

"Well I would suppose so..." Issac said as he began advancing towards the shrine. He looked back at Shima as he was walking, She's been really quite.... he thought. As he was walking to could see glimpses of figures running around in the bushes, or moving around in the shrine. "Guys...We're not alone here..." He said quietly, but loud enough they could all hear. "But they won't attack us until we're in the shrine, I think." He stopped and turned around.

Shima grasped her spear tighter. She knew that Issac was most likely right, but she didn't want to take any chances. Her strength was disappearing with every waking minute they spent in the light. Her breathing became labored and she began walking slower.

Sakura followed almost silently behind, her footsteps as quiet as her breathing. She just noded and made indications she was listening. Her eyes glanced at the hidden figures, Sakura felt very uncomfortable and felt should should change into her angel form. But decied to hold it off until some real threat.

Issac continued moving slowly until they were in the shrine. The shrine was quite dark, only illuminated by some torches and a fire at the back of the shrine. An alter to some God or Goddess sat near the fire. Two dragons breathing fire were carved into the wall, wrapping around each other behind the alter. "Wow...Wonder who keeps this place up?" He thought out loud. Out of the corner of his eye he saw someone throw a poison dipped dagger. He narrowly avoided it and had his sword drawn only seconds later. A figure stepped out of the shadows, and his minions behind him. "Issac, why must we play this game of cat and mouse? Why won't you just join me?" "I'll never join a scum like you." Issac said spitting in his direction. The black robed figure nodded and then gave a signal. The battle was on now. Several foot soldiers carrying spears, swords, and other weapons began charging at them.
