"Even if they don't you could probably find a spell to make them grow. Or use wind magic to fly, like you said. Honestly, I think they're pretty cute at that size. I guess we'll see what happens" she said, as Garnet got redressed and grabbed her familiars.

"Thanks" She waited till Garnet was ready then stepped through the door into the dorm room "This is neat. I love magic!" she beamed, happy that the transition from Aria to the dorms was so easy. "So, are we taking your car again, or teleporting there?"

Poff sent a questioning thought to her partner and she petted the kitten's head "No, not for us. We're going clothes shopping for Garnet. I don't have much money left to splurge on treats. You can play with your cat tree and your new toys when we get back, I promise"

"Kay" she said, not minding that they were taking the car. It was a nice ride, after all. She guessed it must have been a present from Leo's...uh, Garnet's family for graduating high school or something. She quickly found her small purse with her card and ID inside and slipped it into the free pocket of her dress with the map and room key.

Rissy looked at the amethyst chunk and the tumbler of semi-precious stones and nodded, glancing fondly at the crystal ball. "Yeah, I did. I mean, they weren't that expensive but the crystal ball is and besides, they all have sentimental value to me. I feel like I adopted them rather than just bought them. Bringing them to Aria is probably for the best. Which reminds me!" she turned to look at Garnet "I forgot about my backpack and stuff in the class room. After...after the accident. You don't think anyone's gonna steal them, right? I saw some other students leaving their stuff in the room too"

She followed her out to the car and waited for the doors to open before sliding into the front passenger seat."Hehe, are you sure this car's not really a Transformer?" she joked, watching Garnet try to sit comfortably without squishing her wings. "We're not gonna get a visit from Decepticons or Optimus Prime are we?"

"Mew?" Poff queried, climbing out of the pocket and into her partner's warm lap to snuggle down for the car ride. What are those things?

"Oh. They're like...robots that...um...well...they're sentient beings like humans, but they're also robots that turn into cars and trucks" she explained to her familiar.

Poff squeezed her eyes closed happily, sending confusion and nonchalance to her partner. She was a baby, she had no idea what a robot even was. Larissa just scritched her behind the ears and chuckled.

"I hope so" she replied, hoping the singing bowl Garnet gave her was still safe. And her wand. Her gel pens and note book were replaceable.

She laughed "Yeah, that wouldn't be good. This is a nice car. It'd be a pain if someone stole it. It's not...actually sentient though is it? It just enchanted?" She listened to her talk about mecha and nodded "Yeah that would be pretty badass. Rocking up to school in one of those. No doubt people would have fighting matches with them if that was the case, though. I can just see it now; a big arena, with students showing off who was the best mech pilot" she waved her arm, then shook her head disapprovingly. "You'd get all the show-offs"

They reached the mall soon enough and she stepped out, cradling Poff in her arms. As they walked towards the mall's automatic doors, she nodded "Yeah, or, if you want the cheaper ones you can go to Best N Less. But they tend not to last as long as the more expensive stuff"

She smelled the different scents of food wafting around the mall, some of them delicious. She suddenly felt hungry, not just for any food, but for something sweet and fluffy. "Man, I could really go for a cupcake right now. Do you mind if we stop at one of the bakeries after we get you some bras and things? I have a sudden craving for sweet, sugary stuff. And not just a little craving. I feel like I could eat three of them in a row"

"Nightshade's a poisonous plant, Garnet. Surely you know that. It was in the spell we used from that scroll. Maybe that's why you're craving it" she said, worried about her. "I don't want my friend to end up in the emergency department for eating poison plants" she joked. She waited until Garnet felt comfortable going in, then walked into the store with her, "Fair enough. I have some from both stores. But these are higher quality, it's true. If you take care of them, they last quite a while"

"Hmm, let's get you some everyday basics first. Things that can go with any outfit and are neutral colours" She led Garnet over to the racks with flesh toned, white, grey and black garments. Most of them were designs with comfort in mind and everyday wear.

A sales assistant walked over to the two girls and smiled at them "Hi there, is there anything I can help you with, ladies?"

Larissa glanced at Garnet before looking back at the store assistant "Actually, we might need a little help with sizing. Would you be able to do a fitting for my friend here? She needs to know what sizes to pick out"

The woman nodded "Of course. If you'd like to follow me to the fitting rooms, I'd be happy to take your measurements, Miss" she spoke to Garnet.

Snow Poff was sniffing the air, curious about all the different scents of people, food, shoes, perfume, fabrics. Larissa cuddled her close to her chest and nuzzled her "It's okay Poff. Just stay close to me and don't wander off" she murmured to her.

She waited while Garnet went to get fitted, glad the shop staff were helpful and friendly. When she got back she looked up from a rack of flowery bras she had been looking through

"Oh. Hey. How did it go?"

She listened to her question. "Umm, well, don't just dress for comfort and practicality; wear something you feel good in. Like this! She showed her some of the fancier lingerie with frills, sparkles, flowers, lace or bows.

"Buy stuff that makes you feel great wearing it. But not so uncomfy that you wanna rip it off the first chance you get", she said. "And have a good look around. It's down to personal taste as well. For instance, pick your favourite colours, get some fancy ones for special occasions, and some for more everyday use. You'll want a good sports bra as well, in fact, you'll definitely need some of those since you like to go running. I think diamantes and satiny stuff would look great on you too"

She smiled at Garnet "No problem. I hope I was helpful"

While Garnet went around shopping in the store, she just quietly browsed the selections, seeing a few that she liked, but she wasn't going to spend anything else from her budget since nothing in here was cheap. Her craving for cupcakes was still there, and just as strong as ever. She could practically taste the frosting and the sweet vanilla fluffiness of the cake part. She wiped her mouth on her hand, realising she was drooling. She giggled at herself and shook her head 'Oh my god, get a hold of yourself! You're actually drooling like a hungry dog"

She daydreamed about cupcakes some more, wandering round the store, picturing the different coloured bras and panties as cupcake designs instead. She saw Garnet coming up to the counter eventually and walked over, holding Poff in her arms "All done? Wow. Looks like you're not gonna run out now. That's going to cost a lot though" she pointed out, in case Garnet didn't realise. "Especially the gemstone ones. Those are cool. I have one but I want to enchant a gem myself for it"

She waited somewhat impatiently while everything was rung up and put into bags, eager to go out in search of cupcakes. Once Garnet was done shopping, she made a bee line straight for one of the cafe's that sold them. A little cafe and joint bakery, it had all sorts of fluffy pastry delights. "Oh my gosh, that smells sooo good!" she drooled.

Larissa looked shocked when Garnet ordered a whole cake, but then reasoned she was going to eat it over a few days. She turned her head towards Garnet and smiled "Oh! Yeah, okay. Thank you. That sounds good" she turned back to the counter and looked at the different cupcakes inside.

She ordered a box of cupcakes, six of them, different flavours; there was a strawberry and vanilla set, a chocolate and caramel pair and a caramel with vanilla frosting. She walked over to join Garnet at the table, sitting down and opening the box. "I got us three each. Since I feel like I could eat three of these. And I probably will. I'm not even kidding" she laughed. "Is this what it's like to have pregnancy cravings? I can't believe it's happening so early! That spell worked fast"

She took a chocolate cupcake out and bit into it, chewing happily "Mmm. I'm going to have to start running around the school with you" she joked. She watched her eat the slice of cake "That cake looks good too. I love cream cheese icing. This was a very bad, very good idea"

She kept chowing down on her cupcakes, clearly enjoying them. She looked around the mall and spotted a few different clothing stores "Ooh. We should go into that store. And that one! They have some really nice dresses and winter wear out at the moment. You know those soft, fluffy woolen dresses? The ones with the pom poms on the strings? They're so cute!" she chewed thoughtfully at another cupcake, licking frosting off her fingers. "And we better use the forestalling spell as soon as we get back. Or we'll grow out of these and have to go maternity shopping. When does your belly start to show anyway?" she looked down at hers and poked it gently.

Poff took the chance of her being distracted and started to eat the cupcake in Larissa's other hand, getting pink frosting on her whiskers and face.
