Some men just want to see the world burn... And I just want to show them. Never Again... Will I be bound in chains Herald looked at Emma blankly before shaking his head. "Let's just get out of here as soon as possible." He almost reached up to touch her but stopped himself, looking back towards where the group was. It seemed that someone new had joined them. It was some kind of little doll, probably Charlotte's. Herald wasn't interested in what Charlotte or her doll had to say. It sounded like it was provoking Texas which seemed to happen to the boy on a regular basis. Texas frowned at Fatalis, her cheeks flush with anger. "What do you even know about me!?" He asked, his breasts bouncing slightly as he leaned forward. "I've never even seen you before in your life! Are you sure you aren't Atticus in disguise or something!?" He put his hands on his hips as he frowned down at the little doll. "Cause you sure do sound like him! Mirai, can you do some kind of physic reading to see if that thing is really Atticus?"

As the boy was upset by his words, Fatalis only watched. Once he finished speaking, Fatalis sighed and completely ignored his words, instead, turning back to Mirai, "I am beginning to see why Atticus detest this boy." he said rather bluntly. "He is easily influenced by the words of others and allows his anger to get the best of him. A new partner would be ideal for you, one that is a bit more mature and can be of more use." Fatalis turned away then, "However, you will continue to partner up with him, no matter what anyone says, so I will not try and make you leave him, but do know this. He is a liability to both you and everyone on this mission, if he can't keep his emotions in check, then he will need to be dealt with." Of course Fatalis was referring to the canter of the book, where madness is overflowing, last time, Shira had managed to save them all form the madness, but this time, is different, Texas was the most vulnerable being the only human. ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █ ██ █

Mirai looked at N "I can only spread my healing ability to everyone. I don't know about abilities that others have. What was your plan?" She asked. She was a bit cautious of this idea since telekinesis was rather powerful. She looked at Texas when he wanted to get into a fight with Fatalis "He isn't Atticus." She told him. "Remember what we talked about before about not letting people get to you..." She said. She glanced at Fatalis then away as he spoke. She was tired of her family, even the doll, saying that Texas wasn't fit to be her partner.
Emma just stared back at Herald before she went back to eating her apple, obviously going with a flow with things. She poked his nose after she took the bite of the fruit "Be patient." She told him. Her ears were swiveling slightly as she hung there, meaning she was listening to the others just in case something important was brought up. At the same time, now that she had time to calm down, the thoughts of the envy chapter came back into her head. She knew it wasn't good to let it get to her, but the chapter struck a nerve with what the book used to make it affect her. She sighed silently and took another bite of the apple while hanging there.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N put his hand on top of Mirai's head, turning her to face him. "I need your attention. Before I continue, let me state that I believe the doll only says such things to Texas because he worries for your well being. I believe your partnership to Texas is admirable and true. Ultimately, I envy you both." Releasing her head, N did his trademark pause before speaking, if only because he was about to say a lot. "I remember back at the tents of students talking about synchronizing soul wavelengths. I believe if we use this technique we should be able to traverse the madness freely of harm." O.C.C:

You're just a doll. What do you know? And for your information, Mirai and I are gonna be partners and if you don't like it you can go cry your fake little doll tears somewhere else!" He folded his arms as he heard N talking, nodding silently. "See? Someone gets it!" He looked over at Mirai when she reminded him not to let people get to him. "I'm just sayin," he replied. Herald looked back at Emma silently as she poked his nose. "Patience isn't my strong suit," he replied. He cocked his head to the side slightly when she sighed. "What?" He asked curiously.

Fatalis stated, not giving away any details in particular. He then scoffed at Texas' remark about him and Mirai being partners, "Of course you will remain partners, it would look bad on Mirai, if she should abandon such a helpless little child." he told him. "Mirai, once this mission is done, I am going to have you, Lady Charlotte and myself sit down and discuss your partnership, with this...kid." Fatalis had finished saying all that he needed, so before he could be distracted by Texas again, he would look to Nariaki. Mirai looked at N as he spoke "Synchronizing that many souls won't be easy." she told him "It is hard enough to do with two souls. In order to resonate correctly, our souls have to be compatible with one another in some way. It would be pure luck if that happened to us today but accomplishing that sort of thing would take a long time... time we don't have." she told him. "It is a good idea, but it won't work since the chances of all our souls being compatible are very slim." she explained. She glared at Fatalis, obviously angry at the moment. She had enough of both the doll and Atticus belittling Texas. It ticked her off to no end.
Emma's attention went back to Herald when he spoke to her. She glanced at him before shaking her head "Nothing." she said. The core of the apple burst into flames and disappeared before she jumped off the branch and landed on the ground. "Like I said before, the envy chapter was a pain." she muttered as she stood up straight and adjusted her hair.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N stopped and put himself into thought again. It was very clear, Mirai was in a difficult spot. "It requires everyone to be on the same base..." The man rose and moved towards Fatalis, reaching him, he spoke. "Doll, your words are no longer contributing to helping the situation. Continue helping Nariaki, but I will ask you to refrain from talking to Texas and Mirai. You will only make the situation more difficult. Realize this." Returning to Mirai, he re-continued planning. "Mirai, I would request you step into my shadow." Though somewhat not highlighted, N shadow was less of silhouette and more of a pool of black at his feet, and quite frankly it was a little bit disturbing as it shifted. O.C.C:

Looking back at the creature, Fatalis would speak. "I have no reason to oblige your request." he told him. "Lady Charlotte entrusted Mirai to me and I will continue to do my job whether it contributes to this so-called team or not." Fatalis glanced over at Mirai, "If she has a problem with the way, I do things, she should stand and protest it herself. Frankly, this matter does not concern an insignificant and mysterious person as this N fellow." Speaking directly to Mirai, Fatalis had completely disregarded N, disrespecting him and not even caring about the man's words. Mirai glanced towards Fatalis again "I have a problem with how you talk to my partner. Yes he has his flaws, I have mine as well. A partner isn't supposed to be perfect when they first team up. We still have a while to go and I understand that. I don't need you or anyone else constantly belittling me and him for it. Especially during a mission in which a little bit of self doubt can lead to the team's down fall." she told him. "We will talk about this later, until then knock it off." she looked at N when he said to go into his shadow "Uh... why? If you don't mind me asking..." she asked as she looked at the black pool.

N - Kishin[Black / White]N turned back around, giving Fatalis a calm, but calculated stare. At some ways he was correct, others... wrong. "Charlotte, I assume, trusted you to protect Mirai, not lecture both her and Texas. And while it is not my place to say what partner she has, it is neither yours. What I do know..." He stepped in between Mirai and Fatalis, looking for his attention, though he knew the doll's condescending nature would not give it to him. "Is that I placed a duty upon myself to make sure everyone leaves this book alive. I consider it my turn to protest, for my own reasons. Your only purpose currently is serving as detriment to the morale of this group, and I would much rather eliminate you then listen to you berate others any longer. But... If it is insisted.... Mirai has spoken her opinion, you will listen, then you will hold your tongue for better purposes, lest I silence you myself." As N spoke, shadows had crept from the ground towards the doll, blades surrounding him, N knew it wouldn't intimidate him, but rather a hope to get the point across as they shared their apathetic stare-down. The man stepped back, as well as his shadows, returning to his planning with Mirai. "Excuse my harsh words. But, I ask for you to simply step in, I need to know something... I apologize if this seems eerie..." O.C.C:

Mirai watched as N threatened Fatalis then went back to speaking with her. She gave him a quizzical look "Alright..." she said as she walked towards the shadow and stepped into it like she was told.

"Sorry, Mirai, but I cannot comply with your orders or rather, I won't comply." Fatalis hovered in the air, "I only care about results, not how he or you feel. Feelings won't help you control your powers nor will they ensure your protection." Fatalis flew over towards her then and sighed, "One thing is certain, when this mission is over with, their will be some changes." the way Fatalis phrased it made it sound like he was almost threatening her. "Until then, I will continue to speak about and analyze everything you or any member of your team do." Fatalis would watch as N came between him and Mirai. "You think a nobody like you can threaten or command me? When you yourself, is the biggest threat to this group?" Fatalis asked as he gave off a powerful yet familiar aura. N was not aware of the frightening power that this mere doll contained.
