Dara decided the best course of action would be to let Shira talk to him, so she connected Atticus through her Senrigan. "Ok Shira, talk some sense into him. Atticus you better listen to her."

The sound of the audience, the smell of blood and despair, he didn't even notice that Shira and the others were in the stands. As he stood before the Reaver, Atticus had prepared to kill the boy, not even thinking about the repercussions that may come of it. Just before he would raise his blade, Atticus stopped after hearing both Dara and Shira's voice in his head. "What?" he asked as he looked around frantically, "How did you two get in the past? How long have you been trapped her?" Atticus asked out loud. He then heard Shira's words, "No!, you're wrong. I've been locked in the cells under this place for what seemed like weeks, this is definitely the past and I will kill the Reaver." ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

It could be just a huge illusion messing with us while Harold and Eric continue to grow further apart from one another." Shira tried to tell him "If this is the past, you need to think of what killing the Reaver will do. We can still save Mirai when we get out of here... but think of things that would not have happened if Eric and Harold were dead? I would have still been a slave to that demon that kidnapped me a while back if it weren't for them. Eric also saved Mirai so without him, she may cease to exist too." she explained "Just focus on the monster now... or try and get out of there. This may be a plan to drain your energy as well." The rest of us might not. All I have offense wise is some punches and kicks. One of the ones here already looks suspicious and if they connect you to me and the others here. Then we are going to be in a lot of trouble. Especially me since I am with the kishin girl named Scarlet, the Arena Master, and a few other interesting looking people who could probably beat me at the moment." she told him "I promised that I would stick with you no matter what. So if you feel killing him is the best resolution out of every other option we have then so be it. Dara couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Atticus, you kill him, you might as well kill Mirai and Shira yourself. But then again without him there would be no Mirai. Eric saved Shira from assassination attempts at the cost of his bodily health. I thought you were all for peace. And killing your friend isn't very peaceful. Just think of how different all of us would be without him. You might as well kill me too if you kill him."

Sighing, Atticus looked out towards the audience and scanned for Shira. After spotting her, along with the others, Atticus, it seemed like he had accepted her words, but just then, he would burst into a sprint and make his way towards the Reaver, with his sword active again. As he approached the Reaver, Atticus merely ran right pass him and towards the beast. Lunging into the air, Atticus would land on the beast's head and use it as a fulcrum to lift him higher into the air and allowing for him to land right in the audience. Atticus then rand with all his might to Shira's location defeating any and all security that stood in his way. ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

She did her best to keep a neutral expression still, watching as Atticus made his way over. She wasn't quite sure what would happen once he got over to where she was though. "Atticus, be careful. We need to keep as low as possible with this... right now they don't know you are my partner right now. They think I am here just to see how the arena works." she said, trying to give him a bit of information on the situation. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

"The granddaughter of the Lord Death, it is a pleasure to meet you." Atticus said out loud. Suddenly, Atticus would lean down and take Shira by her arm, holding it tightly behind her back, while placing his sword cleanly on her neck. Overall, it appeared as though he was attempting to use her as an hostage or some sorts. Looking up at the Arena Master, Atticus had a disturbed and sadistic look on his face, "I am leaving this place, now!" he told him, putting on a real convincing act. ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

Spreader of Despair Actually, there's a barrier around the arena so Atticus couldn't have jumped out. sweatdrop But since we're so far along now, let's go with it The Reaver Miles Libertatis James Jetter   "Nurse who?" Asked Miles when Dara mentioned Nurse Mortem, genuinely confused. "Look, you don't need to know who else is helping me. The more people involved, the more likely this is to mess up so just stay put." The Reaver was ready to take on Atticus, getting into a fighting stance but was surprised when Atticus went around him and went towards the barrier. When Atticus landed amongst the crowd they began to scatter, fully aware that the vast majority of arena participants were extremely bloodthirsty. Miles was taken aback by this sudden turn of events, staring in surprise. "What in the world!?" He yelled. He watched as Atticus went into the VIP tent and took Shira hostage. "That idiot! This place is gonna be swarming with guards any second!" He spun to look at Dara. "Friend of yours?" He asked her rhetorically. "See, this is what I was talking about! Your IDIOT friend just screwed up EVERYTHING!" He spun back to face the arena where the Reaver had been forced to continue fighting the gigantos. "There's not enough time..." he muttered, his face a mask of anger. Meanwhile in the VIP pavilion, Nurse Mortem jumped up when Atticus showed up, stumbling backwards in surprise, one hand over her mouth. "Please sir, don't. You don't know what you're doing!" She told him, hoping he would listen. Scarlet pulled her black ivory gun, her normally cheerful mood replaced by one of anger based on what she had seen in the card she had pulled earlier. "Drop her buddy," she said simply, pointing the gun towards Atticus. The Ringmaster watched Atticus with a blank, unreadable expression, saying nothing. Nylus's face was a mask of anger but he too remained silent, deciding it would be best to let the Arena Master deal with this. The Arena Master seemed calm and collected. His face showed concern, but not surprise, anger or fear. "I suggest you let Miss Death go this instant," he told Atticus, one hand on his chin. In the arena, things weren't going well for the Reaver. Despite multiple attacks, the gigantos remained seemingly immune to damage. The Reaver had been forced to turn his full attention back to the beast, unable to get involved in what was happening outside the arena. The gigantos continued its brutal assault, swinging its fists towards the Reaver like giant wrecking balls, trying to crush him with each blow. Then it raised its palm again, pointing it towards the Reaver. There was a glow and then a flash as another explosion shook the arena. This time the Reaver knew what was coming and had reacted quicker, managing to get out of the way of the explosion entirely. He recovered quickly and turned to face the gigantos. For some reason there was a smile on his face. His voice couldn't be heard above the commotion of the crowd, but his lips could easily be read. I get it... they said, quickly replaced by the grin. He began backpedaling, staying of the arms-reach of the creature, moving back towards the arena edge. After a few missed swipes, the creature roared in frustration and raised its palm again to fire. The Reaver's grin grew wider and he raised his gun as well, fully charged for a large burst. Then everything froze. It was as if time had stopped for everyone but Dara, Michi, Aislin, Ina, Atticus and Shira. Those in the VIP tent, even the Arena Master, seemed frozen in place exactly as they had been moments before. The Arena Master was still watching Atticus with his concerned look, one hand on his chin. Scarlet was still pointing her gun at Atticus, Nurse Mortem was still standing back in fear and Nylus and the Ringmaster were still sitting and watching. None of them blinked. None of them were breathing. Outside, the crowd was the same way, everyone had frozen in place no matter what they had been doing. Miles was frozen looking down towards the Arena, his expression still angry. The Reaver and the gigantos were frozen in place aiming at each other. Everyone stood still and unmoving, the deafening cacophony of the crowd was replaced with a deafening silence.

She stared at the frozen figures near her, still basically frozen herself since Atticus still had a sword to her throat. "What just...
