Anya Bladefeather Anya was wandering when she heard fighting.She looked around quicky and gathered what little items she had and ran towards the sound,hidding once she could see figures. She was not one to worry about others problums,but something otld her to follow the fighters and learn what she could. Since leaving her homeland Anya had been avoiding everyone,keeping to the shadows and traveling in towns by night. Once the fighting seems over she made her way towards them,keeping her head down. She could tell one was a dragon,but was uncertan if that ment she'd be friendly to a crossbreed like herself.

Greed?... Wrath?... Lust?... Pride?... Envy? I fight for none of these petty mortal reasons. They have nothing to do with it. ~~~~~~~~
Valdia watched as the elven man ran away. His running awakened a longing they hadn't felt in years. Most people nowaday just stood in fear. So disappointing. She kicked her horse into a gallop. They rode after they fleeing elf all the while arguing with themselves. Should we call out his name. The true name. she asked as she rode, eager to hear his soul scream in agony and his body to fall lifeless to the ground. "No... ours is not to seek, not to know... the name..." the head whispered, looking as if talking to itself. But such insolence, to summon us! "He is too live...." Why? Why must he hold us back?!! They cried together. Valdia drew her long broad sword and swiped it over the elven man head to cleave his head from his neck. They missed just centimeters from his neck and continued on past him and through Tal'rukk at an unnatural speed. She cut down demons in anger. They must leave, for the Dark One, her one and only master, wished it so. The shadow wrapped around then and they were gone, a chilly shreek the only sound left after Valdia disappeared.
~~~~~~~~ I fight for the sake of death To see it spread to were the light resides And let darkness flow in its wake.
Aiden-Jasper Lionheart
Jasper's lungs burned as he ran, it was as if he hadn't run in years the way his body reacted to the physical treatment. as he ran he could hear the creature getting closer behind him and a change in the air told him a blade was being swung. The tip of the blade nicked the back of his neck and it made him run faster, he would not allow death to take him, not yet, not when he was so close to happiness.
though he didn't understand why he was in Simaron, he had remembered that possibly a few days ago he had given Eleanor his mother necklace and asked for her hand. he supposed it was the trama of what was happening around him that had caused his short-term memory to retract. he must have traveled here in preperation for the wedding, looking for a preist or cloth. whatever he was here for, it had all gone wrong.
He managed to slip himself thought a crack in one of the damaged buildings to hide himself away. he pulled his knees up to his chest and stared out of the crack into the horrors before him Demons prowled up and down and some of them picked up his sent and were shuffling outside of the crack, to big to get through if they found him.
and Found him they did, at least seven of them were clawing at the stone and snarling at the cowering elf inside and more started to join the others hissing and roaring and snarling at him as Jasper crawled further back. not being able to control his emotions anymore Jasper let out a blood-curtiling scream just as one of the smaller demons broke through. thanking the gods he was wearing heavy boots he was able to kick out at the demons face and bash its scull in with his heel causeing the demons blood to splatter out and cover the elvens face.
Jasper gagged as the blood hit him and the demon fell to the ground. luckily the others were bigger then this creature so the others wern't able to come through. he wished he was back home with eleanor, he wished he had never been possessed to even think about comming to Simaron. he held his upset stoumach and tried to push himself agaist the broken rubble behind him as if he was trying to become part of it.
 Nanaja Kagero ♦The Inferno Warrior♦ The dragoness' breath being quite heavy from having been doing nothing but running for the past few minutes, as fast as she could mind you, she begins to slow down to a stop, hunching forward as she places her hands onto her knees, her fiery eyes closing as she catches her breath. Her ears perk up to see if she can hear the sounds of any form of pursuit behind her. From what she can tell, she can hear nothing behind her. "Maybe... Maybe I lost them..." she tells herself with a few huffs and puffs. Taking in one final deep breath, the dragoness stands up straight and slowly exhales, her wings fluttering open for short moment before folding themselves neatly against her back once more. She can still feel the corruption around her, the dark power only increasing with each passing second. She narrows her fiery eyes as she glances around her, growling lowly. "I need to leave this place. This place is as good as gone. Simaron is gone for good. Unless those Tal'Rukk cockroaches are dealt with. But that won't be for some time, I think..." she growls lowly to herself. Tightly gripping her blade, Nanaja begins to slowly and carefully make her way towards the nearest exit of the city, which sadly is anywhere at the moment. The exit is all around her. Just depends on how dangerous the exit itself is. However, before she gets the chance to actually make it towards one of the exits of the city, a scream enters her sensitive ears, causing her to hasp softly and quickly turn her head towards the direction it came from. "Someone is still alive within these ruins?" she asks aloud. Shaking her head, such things do not matter at the moment. The only thing that matter as of now is that someone is in need of help. Baring her fangs, the dragoness begins to sprint in the direction of the scream, jumping over the little wreckage that is laid out in her path. Turning the corner of what used to be an old street, she finds many demons of various sizes trying to fit themselves all into one small hole, gripping and clawing away at whatever is in the crack of a damaged building. She can smell blood. Concentrating on her fire magics with her left hand, her hand beginning to burn fiercely as it begins to glow with a fiery orange aura, the dragoness points out her left hand towards the demons trying to claw away at the debris to get to their prey. With some of the energy that remains with her, fire forms at the palm of her left hand as a jet of flames bursts forth, quickly consuming everything in its path as it heads towards the demons. They quickly look to their sides, only to see the flames merely inches from their beings. The fire engulfs the demons, burning them away and turning them to ash. The fiery orange aura about her left hand vanishes as she hunches forward once more, becoming fatigued now with each use of her magic and whatever else that requires a lot of energy. Breathing heavily, she stumbles forward a bit as sweat begins to glisten off of her red and black scales, slowly making her way towards where the demon used to stand before they were obliterated. She roughly knocks onto the damaged building with her sword, coughing some. "Come on out if you're alive in there. It's safe now." she informs the stranger in the crack of the damaged building, her fiery eyes scanning around her as she tries to get her breathing under control. Her ears perk up to listen closely to her surroundings...
 Aiden-Jasper Lioneheart
Jasper had pressed himself up agaist the rubble and stared blankly at the Demons clawing there way through the crack. his mind had relaxed and he had gone into a state of shock to try and save what little he had left of his sanity before he was torn to peices but the horrific mob just outside. in this state he was able to forget his impending doom and focus in on himself, back in his village he was a descent fighter, keeping the village safe from bandits and wild animals, but Demons were another story, agaist them he cowered like a frightened child, which to anothers knowlege was the smart thing to do, better to have another day to try again then fail and never have the chance to start over.
He was suddenly snapped out of his calm state when a blinding light flashed infront of him and burned away at the demon's flesh. He threw his arm infront of his sensitive eyes as they burned from the smoke that surrounded him and couched as it reached his nose and lungs. he heard a voice outside and while he missed what they had said, he knew from the tone the person was a friend, and they had just saved his life. slowly crawling past the body of the demon he had killed he pushed his way through the crack his eyes catching the sight of soot that remained of the demons that had harrased him. he looked up to his savior and almost ended up crawling back into his hiding place when he realized that the person was not a demon, but a dragon. His heart slowed down and he closed his eyes and let out a breath of releif. "Thank you my kind lady, I thought i was surly going to die if you hadn't saved me." he said nodding his head to her in a small bow of thanks.
 Nanaja Kagero ♦The Inferno Warrior♦ Getting her breathing under control, the dragoness can definitely feel fatigue begin to wash over her entire being. She has been doing nothing but expend all of her energy into fighting these damned demons that have done nothing but corrupt these lands all damn day. Her energy is already extremely low and is just plain tired. It's just that simple. As today, she is going to need some time to actually wash all of the grime out of her scales and skin and get a good nights rest. At least ten hours of sleep that isn't interrupted. Of course, life just isn't that simple. There's always complications. Something's always bound to happen, especially when it's unexpected. Her tail twitching about behind her as her fiery eyes scan about, her back turned to the crack in the building, the dragoness hears the one that was trapped within the damaged building due to demons preying on him crawl out into the open, expressing their thanks. "Don't mention it. I just try to do my best with helping others, as I'm sure you would have done the same for me if I were in your shoes." she tells the person. Nanaja then turns to peer at the person she just saved, seeing quite the handsome elf. She just saved this young man? Her fiery eyes locked onto the young man, she simply shakes her head as she fully turns to the elf with a soft smile upon her scaly lips. "But you're very welcome all the same. Perhaps you can pay me back some time." she tells him with a small laugh and a wink. However, a familiar scent enters her nostrils as she bares her fangs, quickly turning towards the source as her large, curvy ears pin themselves against the back of her head, raising her blade. The dragoness glares at the demon from before approach them, looking almost as exhausted as she does. And he's talking to this elf as if he knows him! Part of her wishes to consult the elf about his relationship with this demon, but then she wishes to question why demons were actually attacking the elf if these two are friends. In fact, she definitely has quite a few questions about this, but such questions can wait. "Stop where you are right now! Come any closer and I'll make sure that my pyromancy puts an end to you, permanently!" she threatens the demon, not wanting him any closer than he already is. She peers over her shoulder to look at the elf with a stern expression, baring her fangs. "How do you know this demon? Are you two friends?" she asks of the young elven man. Of course, the dragoness is going to go about asking the basics, as the basics are the only crucial ones at the moment...
~I seek truth and justice though the light..~
Aiden(Jasper) Lionheart
Jasper smiled at the Dragoness and nodded. "Then i hope that day is soon, i do not wish to be in your debt for too long, it would be rude of me." he said and brushed off the soot and dirt from his tan elven skin. He looked up when he heard someone call his middle name. It was a Demon, and it was talking to him as if it knew him. he backed away just a little but didn't slip back into his hiding place, he knew this Demon would be able to get through if it really wanted to. When the Dragoness questioned him he shook his head. "I have never met any Demon in my entire life time. My name is Aiden not Jasper, a Fae at my village calls me that only because she dosn't like my first name." He explained quietly to his savior his eyes flicking to the Dragoness and the Demon, he could tell they had met before though. his eyes flicked to the Demon, a little hint of fear in his eyes but he didn't want to show it in his body language, if the Demon attacked he would try and defend the Demoness, he could tell she was tired and had used a lot of energy she didn't have to save him. He could tell this Demon was not one of the mindless ones running around, he figured maybe he could reason with it and get himself and the Dragoness out of the ruins of Simaron alive. "I am sorry for the mix-up, but I am not who you seem to think I am, I am Aiden Lionheart of the winter village east of Argonos. All i wish is to leave peacefully i do not want to fight, there has been enough blood-shed today." Aiden said his voice brave but fear still showed in his eyes, he had never spoke to a Demon before so he didn't know how the creature would react to his small speech. sure they had Demons back home up in the mountains but they were only called that because of there icy features, like horns and sharp claws made of ice, but truly they were just like his beloved Eleanor, only they were Fae born of the womb not the earth mother herself. Aiden seemed to become lost in thought for a very breif moment and then pulled himself back into reality, it wasn't the time to be day-dreaming.
Quinn stopped as the dragoness threatened him " if you try anything the only person that will be removed permantly is you"he threatened back although it was just a big bluff he stared at Jasper confused and slightly angry "you don't want anymore bloodshed? what the hell are you talking about? you stated all this you even told us you were from Talrukk did she wipe your memory or something? we met in the area before you made the entire place go to hell"he replied thinking the Dragoness had something to do with Jaspers new found "innocence" he pointed his sword at the dragoness threateningly "so are you with her now? or is this all just some wierd act because i don't get it and frankly its not funny and if you have decided all of a sudden you wanted to be a good boy then fine you'll die with her" he said even though his legs were shaking and he was barely keeping his balance even more dizzt then before but if it was just an act Jasper would help him take her down but if it wasn't and he really was switching sides they would probly ambush him guess he'd find out soon enough
 Nanaja Kagero ♦The Inferno Warrior♦ The dragoness peers back and forth between the two males, her sword still pointed towards the demon that she had a run in with not too long ago, her grip still tight after having expended much of her energy, disregarding the demons threat towards her. Even with little energy remaining within her body, she still keeps a tight grip upon the hilt of her blade, not wanting to remove her hand from it. She carefully listens to the two of them as they talk with one another in a way, the young elf named Aiden being rather convincing that he does not know this demon at all. Besides, if they were truly friends or allies or whatever, he would have never been attacked by the summoned demons of Tal'Rukk. His eyes spoke of fear, she can see that much. He's being brave. The dragoness admires such qualities in people. However, she believes that his words shall fall upon deaf ears with this demon. One cannot truly come to friendly terms with someone that has been thoroughly corrupted. At first, Nanaja simply glares at the corrupted one. But then a smirk places itself upon her scaly lips, soon giggling softly as she watches the demon. "How cute. Attempting to spread lies to try and pit two allies against each other when faced against such odds. Look at you. You hardly look strong enough to even stand on your own two feet, let alone fight me and the elf. Even if the elf didn't want to fight, I think I'd be more of a challenge for you and then some, like I told you before." the dragoness tells him with a soft voice, almost trying to sound seductive in a sense. She lowers her blade to her side as she grins some towards the corrupted winged man, not wishing to go into detail on how fatigued she is herself. "How about you just let us leave this place? I doubt you'd be able to stop us anyway. So in fact, it doesn't even matter..." she starts, but pauses for a moment as a small laugh escapes her. "Even better, how about you just leave. Go the other way and don't turn back, before something horrible befalls you, child." The dragoness' legs begin to quiver slightly but cease their display of weakness, hopefully before the corrupted one notices as she stands her ground. Her body aches from the lack of energy...
~I seek truth and justice though the light..~
Aiden(Jasper) Lionheart
Aiden was becoming frustrated, this Demon was condemning him of crimes he did not, and would not commit, nor would he ever be able to in his right mind. He didn't want to fight, and though the Dragoness seemed like she wanted to he could tell he body was weak. he had to do something, he could tell that the Demon would become hostile at any moment.
Aiden closed his eyes, he summoned up what little magic he had control over, thought oddly it felt like he had more control than usual, and he built it up into his core, he had never been good at magic like his mother or his beloved and he rarely used it, he could have used it when he was being attack, but then he had been in a state of panic and didn't have the time to call his powers, how meager they might be. when he opened his eyes they were as gold as his hair and a light seemed to be forming in front of him. "Gilith -o Gail ...(light of Heaven)" he whispered in and old forgotten elvish language. The light burst forwards, all the darkness and taint it it's path retracted in an instant as the blinding light sprang forth to blind and daze the Demon. Quickly Aiden gripped the Dragoness hand. "Quickly lets leave before the spell fades." he whispered urgently and pulled her along as he fled towards what he thought to be the nearest exit of the broken city.
~So then, why does this Darkness still haunt my very soul.~
 Nanaja Kagero ♦The Inferno Warrior♦ Watching the corrupted being very closely, watching his very movements to see if she can notice anything strange, any sort of movement that would erupt into conflict here and now, the dragoness is unaware of what Aiden is planning on doing, her fiery eyes not upon his being. However, she cannot help but feel a strange power next to her, in the same exact spot the elf is standing in, but this doesn't necessarily bring her attention away from the demon himself. Taking her fiery eyes off of him would probably be a bad idea, since her own sword is lowered and his is raised. All of a sudden, the dragoness begins to hear a fairly soft whisper coming from Aiden, unsure of what language he is speaking in. When she goes to turn to look over her shoulder to peer at the handsome elf, she immediately takes notice of the way his eyes are, having changed into a golden color, the same color as his hair. But with that, a blinding light bursts forward, shining away whatever darkness there was and actually blinding any targets within its path, including herself along with the demon. Nanaja hisses in distaste towards this blinding light, having to cover her eyes with her left forearm as her eyes now, adding onto the mild pain she feels about her entire body. The dragoness suddenly feels someone grasp her free left hand, hearing the soft voice of Aiden, telling her that they should quickly leave before the spell fades. She growls lowly, but not towards him, more towards the blinding light. Her left forearm being removed from covering her eyes as she is pulled along to flee with the elf, she partially opens them, seeing some spots and stars within her vision. She may be a little upset with the sudden spell, but she is fully aware that it isn't his fault entirely and that it is for the better so that they may escape this place with their lives. "Next time, a warning ahead of time would be lovely..." she whispers towards the elf as she closes her fiery eyes again, allowing Aiden to lead her out of this place due to her current condition of fatigue and minor blindness. The dragoness keeps a firm grip upon the hilt of her custom forged blade, now relying on her sensitive sense of hearing as her ears twitch and flick about. Opening her eyes slightly, she still can barely see and merely closes them once more. "Svabol vi loerchik... (What a pain...)"
