Taya acted quickly while the beast was busy with Deil, and jumped high in the air aiming at the beasts back. She aimed Zoro's sword downwards as she fell down, pushing her weight on it as she intended to pierce the beast at the connection of it's neck and spine.

All Knowing | All Powerful | Really Annoying at Times...
The beast's angle of descent shifted quickly as it watched Taya fly into the air, causing Deil's crossblock attack to miss as it landed in the snow and looked up to Taya, watching her descend on him attempting to pierce his neck. dodging quickly to the side, with a fierce growl and a whip of his tail, the manticore changed it's target to Jade who seemed to be the largest threat, lunging towards her at close range in an attempt to rake it's claws across her chest. At the same time, as Deil wasn't far away, it whipped it's tail backwards, hovering it's stinger over him for only a split second before it plunged down in a second attempt to pierce him and deliver it's poison.

[wow, that's quite a jump since it's like a 7 foot long beast. Then again, I think his light sword is 7 feet long, so..]

Deil's steel kneecap kept him from injuring himself despite using the d-rank crossblock. When the tail came back down at him, Deil clapped his feet together 2 feet out in front of him and caught the tail a six inches behind the barbed tail so that the stinger on the end was only 3 inches from him. Holding his breath because of the closeness of the stinger, Deil pushed his legs out another foot and then grabbed the tail just behind the barb on the end with his right hand. [I'm going by the picture] With a tight grip, he yanked the tail hard toward the left after releasing it with his feet so that it would not pierce him The yank would be hard enough to yank the beast out of it's path and back over Deil with it's belly exposed to him. Heck, if he was lucky enough, he would yank the tail clean off.

After clasping the manticore's tail, the beast let out a small yelp before you gripped it's tail with your hands, pulling back on it with an incredible amount of force, stopping it's forward motion against Taya with a jerk as you pull and slingshot the massive beast about 10 ft away, as it flies straight into an ice stalagmite on the ground, which impales it's lower midsection. T
The manticore let out a blood curdling screech as it flailed about in pain, cracking the stalagmites to pieces as it fell to the ground, limping and tripping as it got up again, whimpering slightly as it seemed to start backing away from Deil. However, it was not done quite yet as it let another angered roar at Deil, unwilling to be beaten by such a small creature as it fought through the pain and gaping wound in it's lower side, flying through the air at him with it's mouth wide open, as it attempted to bite Deil's jugular and tear his neck open.

Taya landed on the floor, slightly pissed she missed. Deil was proving to be quite the awesome teammate. She ducked low as the Manticore jumped over her towards Deil, and stuck her sword upwards, attempting to stab it in it's stomach.

Not being exactly used to the weight of a blade that isn't your own, you stab the sword up an attempt to hit the beast, only to have it slip off to the side. The manticore's tail swung to the side in response to yuor attack, knocking the sword out of your hand as it crashed down onto a patch of ice about 10 ft away, sliding a bit further away as the manticore continued it's assault towards Deil.

This beast was so persistent. Deil didn't just want it dead now. He wanted it DEAD! Charging his chakra into his arm, he gave a great uppercut into the beast's jaw, hoping to split this thing's skull in half if not at the very least deflect it's head. "Great Kai Punch!" he roared, his voice echoing through the cavern.[I think this thing's head should be considered earth element, C rank]

Taya muttered unhappy words as she retrieved the blade, tossing it to Torch Boy and pulling out her own trench knives. She ran full speed at the stupid Manticore, and sliced at it's Achilles tendon.

Apparently the wrath of a snarling beast more then twice your size is no match for that of a frustrated puzzle-solving meat head such as Deil! Even though it's head isn't considered earth based, {{Rofl, wherever you got that idea from...}} the punch strikes home directly on the beast's lower jaw, clamping it's mouth shut with a crunch, while reversing the beast's movement, sending it flying backwards about 20 ft, causing Taya's attack to miss once more. As the beast flies through the air it whimpers as it crashes down onto a patch of snow, crushing several of it's ribs as it continued to bounce a few more feet, before sliding across a small patch of ice before breathing it's last breath as it came to a halt.
After a few moments, the beast then began to glow as it's form slowly faded away, dematerialize into tiny green particles, which slowly gathered together in the air above the beast. After about 30 seconds of this de-materialization, the manticore was completely gone, having dispersed into thousands of particles which slowly collected, forming into the shape of a green crystal kunai, which floated in the air above where the beast was slain.

Taya grumbled to herself as she holstered her blades and walked over to the floating green kunai thing. She reached up to grab it, wondering what it could be used for.

Deil gazed in amazement as the kuni appeared. He was about to go and get it when he saw the look in Taya's face. "Would you like to do the honors?" he asked, trying to keep her from being so depressed.
[Well, the bones of something that size would have been very hard, so, I kinda considered it a rock barrier to classify the strength of the attack against it.]
