"Ack!" Zagan glared at Luna and huffed.

What? he had to act like a kid sometimes too!

"Just sit down both of you..."

Azaria did so after turning the lights on in the sitting room.

"We were in Italy" Zagan sighed, " At our villa near the shore. Something must have set her off... Something went wrong and she lost control. We were sitting on the balcony out side of her bedroom. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with her. She had been acting strange all day. I could see it in her eyes. Her hunger was out of this world"

Zagan slumped forward a bit.

"She saw one of the servants in the court yard attending to a vine that was over grown on the fountain. We can all see the blood pulse in living humans... But something about the time and the scent of blood was taunting her. She moved faster than I could have thought she was capable of! One of the other servants called the police, she was scared and i don't blame her. The police arrived maybe a minute or so after the call. Being that it is a small town. But Hana...... Her malice was like that of a full fledged demon and she deflected the bullets as if they were nothing to her."

Zagan stopped, her looked at Luna and Azaria.

"Our family is powerful all who run in our clan and bloodline know this.... but she was something else. The court yard was bathed in blood by the end of it, the police cars were destroyed and then she made the heavens bleed.... There is to be an equal power between the damned and the heavens. Before I knew it we were dealing with angels.... I tried to get Hana to stop but..."

Zagan unbuttoned his shirt and revealed to them the scar the crossed his chest.

"She struck me down and left me for dead. Gabriel had lifted me and gave me the word to make her sleep. As if some divine plan between us and them had been created in her. So I spoke it.... then screamed it and Hana fell.... He took away her memories and told me that they would be watching."

Zagan frowned, he loved his sister more than anything in the world. He was her protector. She would be his if they were not related. But so it was told that he would never know the truth other than that night.

"We had to do a vast memory lapse.... to everyone... The court yard was cleaned, evidence disposed of.... recorded deleted. No one.... was to know what happened. Then it was as if... she was born again... I retaught her everything she knows. I taught her everything... But I can't help but fear her when she isn't looking. Had it been that the heavens had not intervened I would have had to call on my powers and worse on the demon king himself.... My father.... to kill his own daughter. She would have cleaned all of Italy of it's humans in one night if they had not intervened.... Father knows of this incident.... He was scolded by my mother for not watching her closely. But more over the thirst inside her will not be quenched easily if it happens again."

Zagan sighed, " She killed 20 cops, and 10 servants in less than 10 minutes..."

Zagan blinked, " Luna come back!"

Azaria stood, " Watch over Hana I'll go after her"

Azaria then took off after her friend leaving Zagan behind to watch over a demon. Zagan sulked up stair and stared down at his sister.

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry Hana...."

Azaria huffed and sat next to Luna.

"Luna? Are you alright?"

Azaria sighed and looked down, " I know.... but what ever happened to her then... I prayed would not happen again."

Azaria gasped then covered her mouth. She let it slip. It had happened before! Hana's parents would be furious.

Azaria nodded quickly. " Yes... yes of course" She then ran off like a bat out of hell.

Meanwhile Zagan sat cradling his sister in his lap. In the window stood an Angel watching over the two.

"Must you watch over her in the enemies den?" Zagan asked without looking up.

"I must..."

"It is not safe here for you."

"I know this. But it is my duty..."

"I thought the agreement was that I was to watch over her!" Zagan said lifting his head and glaring at the angel.

"Things have... changed... Zagan"

Zagan looked at the Angel and sighed.

"Take her... It's not safe here right now. More over I want to figure out what's wrong with her."

"You are the future King of the Fallen Zagan.... Are you sure you should be making a deal with an Angel?"

"Azaria!" Zagan said looking at the girl who was usually aloof and who now stood firm.

"What are you doing Zagan? And with an Angel no less?" She hissed.

The Angel only smiled and stepped into the room, "Is it a crime to care for my sister?"

Azaria was taken back by this statement, " Y-your.... sister?"

Zagan dropped his head in shame of their family's secret.

"In fact she is older than Zagan himself... She has just.... stopped aging."

"Zagan?"

"My mother fell in love with an Angel before she met and married my father. Hana...."

"Was the product of my father and her love. Although he didn't live long enough to see much of his child."

Hana lay asleep on the bed, blissfully unaware of the things that were unfolding around her. What would Luna do if she found out?

The Angel walked over and picked up Hana from where she lay.

"Zagan... I'll see you soon"

Zagan grimaced and looked away from his half brother.

"Just leave!" Zagan then stormed out passed Azaria and Luna.

"Try not to hide in lies Zagan! They will catch up to you!" He said before jumping out the window and spreading his wings and flying off.

Zagan ran outside and started off to the family cemetary where he stopped infront of a certain grave and sighed. Shoving his hands in his pockets he looked down upon the grave with longing eyes. The name had be scratched off but... everyone who was privy to the information knew whose grave it was. Kneeling down he closed his eyes.

"We once prayed the time would never come when we'd have to do anything drastic to save her but in the end we did.... and now.... we are regretting it arn't we?" He said as he traced the scratched out markings, " Arn't we Shana?"

Azaria who had followed him without him knowing blinked. Who was Shana? She wondered if she should tell Luna. But what good would any of that do? There was already a war brewing as it were.
