"You hear that?" Gregory whispered to Terra. "Her room'll morph to her desire. That must mean it'll either be Sergei or Sergei's room." He snickered quietly, hoping they hadn't heard.

She coughed and sent the two a glare, a light blush settling over her cheeks as she looked quickly at the ground. She murmered quietly to Sergei. " if it wouldn't be trouble.. i do need a room. i'm scouting this area, and cant run all the way back to the mirror when i need to rest.." she shifted slightly, still resting on the ball of her feet. " i wont trouble anyone..... if i can help it." she added the last bit, smiling slightly.

Sergei was slightly puzzled but he spoke plainly."Of course you can have a room, but there are only two portals here, and neither of them are mirrors, there is a portal in the garden that is visible and the other is a secret. Take one of the rooms on the main level with my blessing, should you need assistance don't hesitate to call me."

((I'll be back in ten minutes or so, I need to take a shower, I am going on a plane at five in the morning.))

She caught his hand and placed a small necklace in it, murmuring quietly. " Call and I'll come as well." She turned and walked to where the rooms where, not looking back even though she desperately wanted to. She distracted herself by thinking of the necklace she had given him, the charm was a black stone spire. In all worthless money wise. But to her it meant protection. She bit her lip and walked into one of the rooms, smiling when a pallet formed on the floor. That was all she would really need, and she sat down on it.

Finally she sighed and tried to meditate, but a thought kept sneaking into her mind. She didn't know which shocked her more, the fact that she gave him her protective stone, or the fact the she wanted to protect him. Groaning she fell over on her pallet, hiding her face as she did so. She really didn't want to sink back into that. Fate had just barely helped her get back to her resolve. She was going to protect people. like her father had, and her litter mates. They all died to protect... and she had feared she would as well. She truly didn't think she could have killed Sergei, he was a weak spot. With a sigh she stood and began to run threw her flexibility tests, happy that she wouldn't have to try and hurt him. It was hard to think about such things when you were standing on you hands and feet and arching your back, which is why she did it.

she looked at Gregory before she walked back to Sergei, shifting into a human around Gregory's age as she sat on the floor next to him. she looked at him and smiled. " she doesnt want to kill you. she cried herself to sleep for almost a week when she took up her fathers promise.. cause she thought she would have to kill you." she cheerfuly shook her finger at him. " but you are not bad anymore. i thought she was going to laugh and hug you for a bit. " she looked back at Gregory, clearly pleased. " she wouldnt be able to hurt him anyway. Fate got mad at her and told her to do what she had to, but she wont have to kill her herte to fill her promise."

Sergei looked puzzled once more and spoke rather softly."So she is basically an assassin immobilized by love. I guess we win that one, I'll have to add this to the tally sheet. But that isn't important, Fate, I have seen her, she some times visits the dark one, hopefully she will come to her senses and get away from that mad man. I don't want to kill any innocents when I finally kill him."Sergei put a hand through his hair and cracked his neck.

Gregory growled. "That's the trouble with these naive race wars. They place good friends against one another..." His fist were clenched so tightly, his already white knuckles looked even whiter, if possible.
