((no...))

She turned around as a pair of second wings reached her ears, and gaped as she saw Eragon's limp body.
"WHAT THE HECK--?!?! Saphira?! What's with Eragon?!"
Calm down...
How can I calm down?!
They simply join minds, not that complicated...
Fine, fine...
She turned around to face ahead of them; they were already in the hadarac desert...

Eragon shook his head after he and Saphira completely seperated their souls. He was trying to get used to the fact that his sight didn't seem like it was behind clear blue film. Think we'll catch up to them? he asked Saphira. Ingothold went faster than Eragon had ever seen a dragon go. Even Saphira, going at her fastest pace, couldn't get close to them. When Eragon looked down at the ground below, he saw the sands of the Hadarac whizz by, causing some slight disorientation. He looked up, and shook off the feeling.

Catch up? Saphira repeated. No...he's too angry for us to get close without fusing minds, she said. Even then, we wouldn't be able to go too far without having to diffuse again. She was flapping her wings are fast and hard as she could, but Ingothold still grew further and further ahead of her.

A wild roar was emitted from the frenzied Dragon as Miansia tried to calm him down; It was clearly visible by her large gestures.
Ingothold...
No use talking him through their minds; He had put up every barrier around him..
"INGOTHOLD!"
He only blinked and continued flying, and when she tried to contact him again, the barriers had been removed.
Death, dream crusher, doubles, wyrda.. WYRDA!
The last word resonated in her head, so much that she had to retract behind her own barriers to stop the terrible migraine.
Still then, the pain stil showed repercussions; She desperately tried to regain control of her mind and sight, but all she could see was a blurry image ahead before she fainted and slowly started slumping to the left...

Eragon noticed that something was up with Minasia and Ingothold. The dragon was furious, he could tell, but he couldn't understand why Minasia was in such a frenzy to calm him down. He slowly reached out to Saphira's mind, which had also been wandering towards his, and they agreed on fusing, again.

Saphira pulled Eragon out of his body. He was strapped in by the saddle, so he wouldn't fall off, but they would go much faster in the same body. They flapped their wings as hard as they could, the air pushing behind them. Soon enough, they were next to Ingothold, and they, as one soul, controlled both Eragon's and Sahpira's body.

"MINASIA!" Eragon and Saphira shouted, Saphira projecting her thoughts as loud as she could, but before they tried to rouse Minasia from her seat on Ingothold, they dove underneath the stone dragon, to catch the Queen if she ever dared to fall.

(hmm..How do the others get there?)

Alianae walked up to Oromis and took his hand. "I tried to save you. You wouldn't let me. Why? You said your death was bound by fate, if you lived Galbatorix would only be stronger. I could have stopped him. I could kill him...but I can't prevent destiny. Death is nothing to me." she said, a tear rolling down her face. Go peacefully. And..I will meet you when it is willed that we meet again. She took his hand, kissed it and placed it softly back down. She saw the farith and picked it up reverently. It was Eragon's work, she knew. Minasia wouldn't have. She took it and left the house, on her way to find Islanzadi and another way to transport them to Melian. Oromis had told her too, of the things he told Minasia, just in case he died before they came. Alianae felt compelled to go. She knew where the place was yes, but it would take much longer on foot or horseback than by air. And if Angela came..she might not beable to manage the way she had been thinking of.

Ingothold Growed in protest of the newly approching dragon, but made no attempt to make her go down, just urged himself faster and faster, tightening his wings against his body and started in a perilous dive towards the sea of sand.
The cry in her mind shook her back to reality, but it was too late in her eyes; she was at about a few leagues from the ground as she was reciting an old incantation that elves use to do before their unpredicted deaths.
"Forgive me, Father, the destiny you have asked of me cannot be fulfilled... Ingothold, I am responsible for your death as well... Forgive me, brother... Eragon... My heart... Aches..."
The shout still resonated as the image of the things around her fused into one, blue image; She was with Ingothold while her body was limply falling to the ground.
What the.. INGOTHOLD?! why save me?! You're one of the reasons why I fell!!!
I... I couldn't let you die... You're more than a simple rider to me, you'Re a asister... No, more... You are a part of me as I am a part of you...

Saphira pulled her soul away from Eragon's, pulling herself out of his body, and watched Ingothold dive in midair. She couldn't seen where Minasia was, but she hoped she was safe.

What was that for? Eragon asked harshly. We were right underneath him! We could have dove and stopped him, or catch Minasia! he exclaimed, a soft tear finding its way through his eyelashes and flying into the air behind him.

No, we could not, Eragon, Saphira answered. It would have been suicide to do so. Ingothold was faster than we could be together. He would be safe, but we wouldn't. Besides, I highly doubt that Ingothold will let her die like that, she said, staring at Ingothold.

She ran a hand through her face and hair, her face as serene as ever.
"I suppose it's a good thing that no one heard what I said..."
Hmpf, well, I did....
"Yeah, well... Whatever..."

((It would be fun if he DID hear it though....))

((god, I know!))

See? She's perfectly fine! Saphira said to Eragon when she saw Minasia sitting, once again on Ingothold's back.

Eragon stared at Saphira, then at Minasia a bit, Fine, but it would have been better if we dove down anyways. He couldn't help but feel warmth inside himself when he saw Minasia, sitting on Ingothold's back, completely unharmed.

Better, but riskier and unnecessary, she reminded him, and flew as fast as she could to Ingothold.

((...ASy he tried to cantact her with his mind and felt her words...o_o))

"Ingothold, slow down, would you?", she asid in a peacfull voice.
Minasia...
"Hm? a problem?"
He DID start slowing down... And almost to a stop at that!
You'RE scaring me; Why the sudden serenity?

Eragon looked up at Minasia, her words ringing clear through his head from when he breached her mind as she fell.

Saphira slowed down as they aproached Ingothold. She was so preoccupied with the questions that she overlooked the words that Eragon felt when they tried to contact her. Why did he stop? she asked herself. I mean...before this was a game, but what about now? She then brought about thousands of other questions for herself, most were unanswerable.

"Well... I guess that I know why I was so heartbroken and savage when Eragon made that declaration to Arya..."
She grinned sadly, raising her head to the sky.
"Go down to the sand, please..."
He grunted and landed as smoothly as e could, trying not to bother Minasia in her thinking.

((I'm a bit confused...))

Eragon stared after Minasia, one half of him wanting to smack himself, the other half wanting to go after Minasia, however, he just stood there, mouth open.

Saphira however, was still brimming with questions, and followed Ingothold down to the ground. When she finally noticed that Eragon was quieter than usual, she poked through his thoughts. Eragon? What happened? she asked, and after he told her, she poked his back with his tail. Go, she said, assertively, Go and explain yourself.

How do I explain myself in situation like this? he asked her, bewildered. I didn't do anything, I just,

Saphira cut Eragon off. Well, you made a fool of yourself to Arya, who, if you haven't noticed, is several times your own age! she said. So, go and tell her what is appopriate to tell her! Arya isn't, and will never be right for you! So...go and find someone your own age, perhaps, she said as she landed.

She sighed, her ears slightly moving as SAphira landed.
Such ignorance...on my part...
She sighed again, trying to forget her words and desperately hopng that Eragon hadn't heard them
And what do you plan on doing?
I don' know!

Inside, she was panicking as crazy, though outside, she kept her cool and serene appearance.
