Dorian watched the boy worry his bottom lip but didn’t take the natural step of leaning down and tempting the lips back into their full natural pout with his own. His mind thought it of course. Anyone would have found themselves straying in that direction mentally. But other than simply noting how it looked and the impulse it had immediately caused, Dorian did not allow himself further action. If you weren’t in control of yourself, you weren’t in control of anything remotely important. What was strangely more alluring was the brief moment of clarity in the soft eyes, the dark shadow passing by in the background. That more than anything tempted him. Not to push the boy down and claim his body with tongue and teeth but to honestly hold him, stroke the dark hair, surround him and murmur promises he was not in a position to make.

That eerie look had been more dangerous than anything else he’d seen about the boy. Tempting one’s body was a simple matter, a reflexive action of chemicals in the body that had no mind of their own and no real willpower to resist without interference. It was when someone could steal away your mind that you had to be doubly on your guard. And he meant to be, really. So why had the hand pulling the shirt over the other boy briefly sought the contact of skin, touching it as though to assure himself it was warm enough while naked and bare in the cool classroom air.

He frowned at the claim over the necklace. That had been unexpected. It was as close to ‘no’ as he’d ever so much as felt from the other male. Everything about Aiden said ‘anything you want’. Except, it seemed, the return of Dorian’s property. That just didn’t fit. “In that case, what is its price?” he asked, deciding to take the fight back to a less personal level. He wanted his pendant back but he didn’t want to face that strange connection he’d felt when the boy had looked at him before he’d mentioned it. He wasn’t supposed to have those kinds of connections with others, not now, not so quickly, not unless they were Aizen.

Dorian heard the question but did not immediately respond. He instead turned away, gathering up more clothes and passing them back. This time it was not control but hesitation stilling his answer. The clothes were merely an excuse to look away. He couldn’t look at that boy without the more physical answer appearing in his expression.

“Not enough,” he said finally, meeting the dark blue eyes again. It wasn’t a perfect answer, but he felt it would be understood. Yes, he was tempted. He wanted and craved as anyone would have. His mind was still being slowly drawn in by the brief flashes of vulnerability that had nothing to do with the exposed skin. But there were things that were bigger than that, more important. And they held more sway over the singer.

He rose and waited for the other to dress, holding out a hand in offer of one more escort.

Jack felt Kaito suddenly relax completely against him, adjusting his stance slightly to make sure Kaito could lean against him as much as he wanted, as much as Jack wanted him to, and the redhead would be able to keep them both more or less upright. Unless the horizontal position proved more beneficial of course. But even when everything the blue haired male did managed to wake up Jack’s hormones and send them on a killing spree though the parts of his brain that contained things like common sense and modesty, it also tugged at something deeper. Lightning danced across the sky and the rumble of thunder covered the faint purr of pleasure Jack could feel rumble through his chest.

“Did you know you have storm colored eyes?” he murmured before he quite realized it. That touch of wild light dancing through Kaito’s darker orbs had been one of the most perfect sights Jack had ever witnessed. A hand brushed back Katio’s hair, savoring the soft liquid grace as he moved the dark strands away from those eyes, watching them again in a kind of daze.

Then the hand was at the boy’s chin, tilting it upwards as the other hand pressed against the small of the heir’s back, begging him forward and against the redhead. Jack stole another kiss but did not move away with his prize, lingering in the feel and taste, the soft sound that had been surrender in Kaito’s words still echoing in his words. His Kaito. There was no two ways around it. He would have hotwired the principal’s car in a second and thrown a handcuffed Kaito into the backseat in an instant if he’d suspected something there might come between them.

“I love having the smart one,” Jack purred out through a smirk as the kiss ended, tugging Kaito away towards the dorms.

For a moment he could see the longing in the pale blue eyes, similar to what he'd had yesterday. Not quite the same though, there wasn't the intensity of emotion in it he could remember so vividly. But the brunette didn't do anything about it which just made him feel stranger. He wasn't used to people not wanting him for sex, it was what he was good for, it was what he did. Having someone NOT treat him like that left him feeling a little lost and pointless.

Then Dorian was frowning, asking how much it would cost to take the piece back. Aiden's expression didn't change as he lifted the pendant to his face and stared at it with docile midnight blue orbs, the streak of lightning setting it ablaze with an inner flame. A faint touch of his welcoming smile breathed itself to life on his lips as he pressed the pendant against his bottom lip.

"There isn't one."he breathed, his bedroom voice doing well to hide how strange those words were coming from him. EVERYTHING had a price, the important thing was to know the value of anything and to get as much for it as possible. Aiden charged a lot, and stole more, because he knew he was very, very good at bed games. So why was it he couldn't actually make himself set a price on the pendant. He wasn't sure, but he knew the though of giving it away had made his stomach clench. Like his earrings, it was...special.

While he'd been thinking about it Dorian had gathered up the rest of his cloths. He accepted them meekly, letting the pendant fall from his fingers and back against his pale chest, but he only held them. His eyes gaining a touch of the haunted look at the other boy's answer.

"No...I suppose not."could he get that kiss again at least? The one that he couldn't forget no matter who else kissed him? He just wanted to forget it but he would have accepted it again in a heart beat. He didn't like what it was doing to him. A hand caught his attention and he turned his midnight blue orbs towards it before reaching up a hand and accepting the help up. He kept his gaze on the hand for a second before dropping his hand away and shifting to pull on his clothing. He was keeping his side turned towards Dorian, his gaze on the floor. It was a protective gesture, ignoring but not enough to get him hurt for it.

He buttoned up the front of his shirt, tucking the pendant away beneath the fabric before turning his once more meek gaze towards Dorian with the empty smile, that was still full of unspoken promises and delights as he touched his earring briefly. He was holding a black wallet in one hand, he'd pulled it from the first boy's pants when he'd stood up. It didn't seem he'd be returning for it. He was waiting because he still wasn't sure what he owed the brunette in front of him. Why did he help him if he wasn't going to take him for it?

Dorian had expected a high price to start with, something he would have to try and bargain the other down from. He’d seen how it worked time and time again with Amy trying to get him a raise on his contract or settle an appearance fee or some other manner. His job during those sessions was to sit still and look like he barely had time for the other’s foolishness. The problem here was trying to bargain with nothing but a bluff. He wanted his necklace back, felt somehow wrong without the familiar shape pressed against his chest. Even if Aiden wore it well, that didn’t mean anything. Aiden wore everything well. A trashbag would have become the next thing to appear in vogue if Aiden had waltzed down the hall in one.

So while he expected to come out of the deal at a loss, he did not expect to have the offer suddenly shot down. Again the singer was struck by surprise and this time it showed, eyes widening slightly as he lowered his eyes to the necklace again. His hand extended just enough for fingertips to brush against the metal, a millimeter away from the other’s lips as he did so. He couldn’t bring himself to close his finger around the object, simply snatch it away as the more childish part of his mind was demanding.

“Tell me when you think of one,” he said instead, frustration chipping at the smooth tone and exposing the worry he felt at the idea of losing the pendant. It was just an object. It could be replaced. But Dorian had a habit of connecting too deeply once he became attached to something. It was the more selfish side of him slipping out, demanding whatever he’d decided was his be permanently attached to him. It seemed almost surreal to think he might lose something so easily. Surreal and disturbing.

There it was again, that flash of shadow that was somehow more revealing than the gentle inviting light that generally lingered in the other boy’s blue eyes. There was something so delicate there that Dorian was almost afraid to look too closely at it let alone touch on it. It was the kind of hurt he would have expected after the earlier attack, but it was deeper, more intense and indelible. And much too old to have sprung from the recent assault.

Dorian lifted an eyebrow when he saw the wallet, remembering how he’d woken to find his own stripped bare. So this was the boy who had been there that night, the phantom in the back of his mind. That wallet as much as confirmed it. But the idea of taking money but not selling the necklace was contradictory. He frowned.

“You’re not a fan, are you?” he tried, looking to work out some reason he would sleep with Dorian and then keep the necklace afterwards.

Kaito blinked, surprise flickering in the back of his empty eyes as Jack murmured in response to his eyes, a faint blush spreading across his cheeks but probably hidden by the darkness left by the vanishing light of the lightning. It made the sensation of the hand moving through his hair that much more sensitive, because he couldn't see just feel.

"Um...t-thanks."Kaito cleared his throat, not quite sure how to handle that particular compliment. He got compliments often, he knew he looked perfectly acceptable, but generally they were given for the intent of getting something in return. Jack said it simply, almost like he didn't realize it, and the honesty had his stomach churning.

He felt a hand touch his chin, tilting his head into position as he was pulled closer to the red-head for them to share a kiss in the concealing darkness. Kaito sighed, pressing against the male holding him and tracing his tongue when he got a chance against the other boys, hesitantly, as he felt out the action. And then the kiss broke and Jack started tugging him towards the dorm rooms.

"Idiot."he murmured, blushing even brighter at the statement as he let himself be towed with his head tilted so slate blue hair shielded his face.

Aiden paused, head tilted when the brunette's fingers reached out and brushed the pendant he held against his lips. Usually it took a lot more, and by that he really did mean a LOT more, to get his body to react. He needed the violence and the pain to know he was alive, he was worth something. So it shouldn't have worked that the simple brush against a stone would soften his eyes almost unconsciously as his smile full of promise bloomed to full life. It made it easier to accept the frustration over his decision not to sell the stone back.

"There won't be."he promised, almost a little frightened that he was willing to fight for something. He'd learned long ago that nothing was worth the pain without the pleasure, that it was better to give them what they wanted, when they wanted. Yet he refused to give up the necklace that was now safely tucked away in his shirt.

It allowed him to regain his equilibrium, the sense of freedom and fear with keeping the necklace a heady combination, so he could push the haunted look away from his eyes and just leave the calm meekness that was much more familiar on him. He opened the black leather wallet, flipping through to the cash first and counting it out before folding it up and making it vanish into a back pocket.

"A fan of what?"he asked distractedly, his attention on the row of credit cards he was flipping through. Some could likely be cleared out with no real trouble, so those he kept while the rest he'd have to just leave. Once he'd taken what he wanted he let the wallet drop to the floor over the abandoned pants and put the taken cards with him as he turned his welcoming smile towards Dorian once more.

Dorian blinked slowly in response to the lack of cooperation he was getting in his quest to retrieve the necklace. It made no sense. The boy in front of him had no reason to refuse his rather generous offer to purchase the piece of jewelry back. It meant nothing to him and if he was planning on selling it he would find no higher buyer than the one personally attached to the piece. His eyebrows knit as his lips pressed into the first real frown of the night. Dorian was usually careful not to look upset in front of others. It implied things were not going the way you wanted them too and it was much more profitable to look like you had everything under your thumb, even when you didn’t. He watched white-gold and blue vanish underneath the other student’s shirt but swore he could still feel it there, a combination of personal symbols resting lightly against the pale flesh somewhere out of sight.

“Aiden, that necklace is important to me. Do not damage it.”There lay in the command an unspoken determination to have the item remain in one piece because he would find a way to get it back. A way that was not as crude as a simple theft. People all wanted something. When he found out what Aiden wanted and could offer it in exchange, he would. For Dorian operating with that kind of gentle inevitability was a kind of victory, the universe proving there was always a way for him to get what he wanted. Provided, of course, that he knew what he wanted. That part was becoming increasingly tricky as he drew farther into the adult world.

His eyes followed Aiden’s theft impassively. He wasn’t going to object to the small revenge taken on the boy who had been hurting Aiden a moment before, even if the dark haired boy probably wasn’t thinking of it that way. His eyes were devoid of judgment though another trace of confusion flickered through them. Again he saw evidence that implied money should have swayed Aiden almost immediately. But now he found Aiden didn’t even know who he was. There was absolutely no need for a connection between the soft eyed male and his pendant.

“My music,” he said simply, watching with a bit more curiosity now, trying to look past that smile. That warm tempting smile that continued to push gently against his strength, unhurried and unforced, raindrops shaping the face of a mountain through time and inevitability. He pushed the thought from his mind. Nothing like that was inevitable in the slightest.

“Well I suppose I’m glad you aren’t just going straight to eBay with it,” he murmured, more to himself than the other. His phone buzzed and he glanced down at a text message. Oh boy. Amy had discovered school was out early. She would be arriving any moment.

“Well, this is no place to spend your day,” he said finally. “Come on. I think I have enough time to take you back to the dorms before I go.”

The command sparked in Aiden almost visibly, his head tilting as his eyes softened a degree towards what he could turn into during sex. The pure submissive. His smile widening to actually show a breath of straight white teeth underneath. Somehow, knowing it was important only made him feel a little more odd inside. Lighter and just...odd.

"Promise."he agreed, reaching up to run a finger suggestively down the silver chain that was all that was visible of the necklace now that his shirt was buttoned up. He didn't want it to go away, he'd taken it on impulse, not sure why he'd been drawn to it other than it was pretty. In the end he found himself more attached to it than he would have thought. It was still an odd thing for him to do, but he felt...content with it.

"I've never really listened to music."Aiden responded lightly, giving a one shoulder shrug as he ran a hand through his dark hair and lifted it temporarily away from the blue orbs beneath. Money meant food, and occasionally pretty things. He hid his finds in odd places all around LA, most of which he'd have to find a way back home to collect. He didn't waste it on things that could be found and taken easily, anything that could be turned around and sold had to be hidden. TV's and other devices were too expendable in his house. He'd never owned but one and it had only lasted long enough for his mother to find it. He knew better than to fight her taking it and had simply watched it walk away only to come back in the form of a white powder that let his mother be nice for a few hours. It also meant he'd never played with computers.

"Whose that?"the dark haired boy asked, tilting his head slightly and watching the seeming acceptance for the time being on the light blue eyed male. He had no idea who ebay was, likely a seller of some kind given the wording associated with it. So a pawn broker in the area?

Aiden moved a touch closer to the brunette when he pulled out his phone, calmer now he was shifting back into the more seductive mannerisms. One of which was space. He didn't read the message, his attention focused on the brown hair. A hand lifted, testing against the blue haired boy he'd touched earlier, and twined his pale fingers amid the rich brown strands a pleased smile pulling at his lips as his docile orbs watched the action before Dorian instructed him to follow to the dorms.

Like previously he fell in with the order instantly, close enough to be touching and watching his movements when the flash of lightning would allow with the same expression, a sort of open invitation to play, nothing below the surface as his hand strayed to his earring and began twirling it with a sort of attention drawing action.

Dorian watched the smile spread over the other boy's face. He managed to retain the polite expression but something softened slightly in it. He found himself nodding in approval. The combination of motions against his necklace with this overly sensual boy should have made him feel a bit annoyed, like the necklace might be contaminated. But he couldn't. He actually believed the promise to take care of it. And his anxiety over the pendant took a sharp dip in priority.

"That's unusual," he said after the bit about not listening to music. "I guess I shouldn't assume my reputation precedes me." His lips curled into a faint smile, an edge of gentle teasing in the self depreciating humor. He didn't know why he found himself rather glad to have met Aiden without being the Nine of Diamonds. First impressions were powerful things. It was better this way. Though... now that he thought about it his first impression of Aiden was not the same as Aiden's first impression of him. The other blue eyed boy presumably still had the memory of their night together.

"Who's who?" he asked, distractedly running his eyes over the phone's message. He was debating whether to answer her or pretend his phone had died and been unable to recharge with the power off. A couple of free hours wouldn't kill the woman. But his eyes lifted from the softly glowing screen when he felt a warm body draw closer, the making Dorian much more intently aware of what his senses could make out by cell phone light. Not reacting to the soft touch in his hair was harder than he would have guessed. His eye went half lidded and he caught the hand with his own, slowly but firmly bringing it away. He touched the knuckles to his lips, looking at Aiden and adding a warning to his expression as locked eyes with him over the back of the hand. The other boy did not have permission to use to familiar a touch with him.

He let the hand slide away and moved to the door, holding it open for their exit.

"You listen to a lot of music then?"the dark haired boy asked quietly, not understanding how his reputation was tied to music. That sort of knowledge just didn't exist in his world. He knew the boy was wealthy, after all he'd taken quite a bit of cash from him. Plus Aiden knew when things were real, and the stone on the pendant was very much so real. But then, compared to him, a LOT of people were rich. The old man for example. But he liked the slight edge of humor. It generally meant he wasn't going to get hurt. It was the colder ones that were rougher. Although he well remembered that Dorian hadn't been exactly sweet and cuddly the night before. An odd combination that drew the dark haired boy almost as much as the memory of the kiss.

So much in contradiction. He stopped the other brunette from taking him...but he didn't want him for himself. He was certainly dominating enough but yet he was polite now. Aiden didn't think he'd ever meet someone quite like him. Maybe THAT was more the draw, the reason he couldn't quite get him out of his thoughts. He needed to though...he didn't work like Yukio. He couldn't stay with one person because they never wanted him like that. He knew what he was good for. Others did too.

"Ebay, does he live around here?"Aiden pulled his thoughts easily away from the dark edge they'd drifted towards. Thinking could drown you and he wasn't going to loose. He could give himself that at least. It was much better to concentrate on the feel of their bodies occasionally brushing, the soft silk of brown strands in his hand. Even better the look that he recognized well filling the lighter blue eyes across from him. The smile full of promise made a come back as he leaned slightly closer towards him, his posture promising even more than his smile did. Only to have his hand caught and pulled away from the back of his hair.

It was his turn for his midnight blue orbs, docile and meek as always, to fall to half-mast as he watched the hand being held pulled to his lips. A brush of kiss mixed with the expression in his eyes had the dark haired boy shivering. The dominance was enough that his posture shifted subtly to open acceptance of the command. His hand limp in the other boy's hold. There might have also been a touch of pain in the back of his eyes. It was only the kiss that was keeping that look from being a flat out rejection.

He let his hand fall limply to his side as he dropped his gaze to the floor, the ink-dark bangs hiding the midnight orbs from sight as he seemed to pull in on himself slightly. It was still the same walk that drew attention no matter who you were, but the almost stiff shoulders-expecting a blow-were back like they'd been when his grandfather had dropped him off. He obediently moved through the opened door without allowing himself to touch the one holding it open for him.

Dorian didn't visibly react the the expression but the warning faded from his eyes. It had been understood and submitted to. He didn't need to press the matter so he didn't. Only those with less confidence would insist on further intimidation after victory had been assured. And in all but very specific areas Dorian had confidence in spades.

He allowed himself a silent breath of relief as Aiden passed him without another of those mind twisting touches. Saying no once was hard enough. He was stronger than this, he knew he was. He just needed to remember what he was holding out for. Aizen. Someone who knew him as himself, who didn't mind that he was a star or not a star, who had seen him at his best and worst and knew the secret about his nightmare fits and still stayed. Or... Used to stay. Used to look for him and call his name instead of Dion's. And there was one of the rare chinks in Dorian's armor. He didn't want to dwell on such thoughts.

"I sing," he answered the earlier question as he walked with Aiden. "And eBay is an online auction."  His pride noted that it wasn't too bad to have someone who didn't even know what eBay was not recognize his name. For being so obviously worldly, Aiden was surprisingly sheltered from a lot of basic knowledge. It was a strange inconsistency. He studied the dark eyed boy and almost missed the clip of heels striding down the hall towards them.

"Dorian, you-" she suddenly came up short, staring at Aiden. Because he'd been vaguely similar and walking with Dorian she had taken him for Aizen in the dim lighting. A flashlight clicked on and shown straight at Aiden's face.

"Hold still," she murmured. "And smile."

Dorian watched in amusement as Amy pulled out her phone and took several pictures of Aiden, punching in a command to send the pictures to someone else. Almost immediately her phone rang and she pressed it to her ear, studying Aiden the way a showman examines a purebred it has stumbled across in a dumpster.

"With me now," she answered the voice at the other end. "The camera on my phone. No make up, no professional lighting, no touchups." She listened for a few more minutes then hung up, pointing at the boys. "You and you. Come with me." Then she turned on her heels and stalked out towards the waiting limo.

Dorian chuckled and shook his head. Still looking faintly amused, he extended his arm towards Aiden in invitation.

"Really? At bars?"the dark haired boy asked asked without tipping his head up, keeping his gaze locked on the ground below them. He probably should have stopped talking, but he was too well trained. The best way to walk someone into wanting you was to make them comfortable, and talking did that. He'd seen the warning, knew the other boy didn't want him...why couldn't he accept that? Why did it hurt so much to think of that rejection? His hand lifted automatically and twined around the silver colored chain hidden beneath his cloths, running his fingers through and around it.

"So you sell stuff...on the internet?"Aiden had heard of the internet. Just like he'd seen TV shows occasionally by walking past houses or stores that had them playing. He'd snuck into a movie theater once and watched a movie all the way threw, his mother had beat him for missing for that long, but he could still remember how amazing it had been to watch someone so happy exist on screen. He'd later decided they were all liars anyway and hadn't gone back. He'd been ten. Unlike Dorian, he was more aware of his surroundings and when someone started walking towards them his posture shifted once again.

It was once more pure seduction in motion, the little hints of vulnerability gone as he lifted his head enough that docile blue eyes could try and see through the darkness at the approaching figure. The clip of high heels cracking something briefly in his brain as he pulled in closer to Dorian for a split second before he caught himself when the flashlight flicked on. Fear only made it worse, only made THEM worse.

He held still as the woman shined the light directly at him, telling him to smile. His welcoming smile spread like candy across his lips as he tilted his head slightly and let the hand on the necklace shift up to his earring and play with it provocatively as she raised the camera and another bright flash went off. He followed her with meek eyes as she repeated this a few times before doing something else with the device. As he hadn't been given a counter command he remained in exactly the same potion she'd told him to be still in.

This wasn't the first time someone had stopped him and taken pictures, it happened several times in LA, but he usually bolted at the first chance he had. He was primed to do so now, as soon as she let down her guard or he saw a chance that didn't disobey he'd be gone and hiding before she could find him again. Yet...his gaze slid towards Dorian where he stood watching the woman in amusement as she all but clucked around Aiden's still form.

After speaking rapidly on the phone she suddenly pointed at him and demanded he come with her. It wasn't in his nature to do otherwise. Maybe he could at least get some extra money out of this, then he'd find somewhere safe and quiet to sleep. He was already going to automatically follow her when a hand was extended towards him. The dark haired boy froze, glancing up towards the light blue eyes and then back towards the offered hand.

Slowly, as if waiting to be rejected again, he lifted his own hand and settled it feather light on the offered one. Watching Dorian from docile blue eyes the way a mouse watches a hawk. This particular brunette seemed to constantly be shifting the rules in the game and that was dangerous. You made a mistake with rules like that, and mistakes meant not being able to crawl out of a bed for a week or more. He was waiting for the backlash as he once more stepped within Dorian's personal boundaries, head tilted to continue watching him for the slightest shift in decision.

You're Poison, don't wanna break these chains.

Dorian's eyes closed for a moment as he felt himself smile. "Not exactly." His father would probably shoot him if he caught Dorian doing anything as demeaning as that. The man had worked hard to make sure Dorian had been given every opportunity to rise to the top and even if they didn't see eye to eye on every issue and weren't exactly a close knit family, there was love there. A head-butting arguing no-I'm-in-charge kind of love, but still.

The sky colored eyes slid open and looked to the night colored ones only to find them hidden, Aiden's dark head ducked and hidden out of sight. Dorian felt a small pang of disappointment and something that might have been regret. He didn't know this boy very well yet, wasn't as familiar with how he took words or actions. But he thought the wordless warning might have pushed him farther than he had expected.  The temptation to lift the chin and wait for a smile slid through his mind. Sexual allure pushed aside, there was something under it that Dorian wanted to touch again, comfort and promise protection to. He'd seen glimpses of it and that part of Aiden confused Dorian's resolve to keep his distance more than any of the more overt advances.

"Some people do," he answered just as Amy joined them. He saw Aiden slip back into his usual roll and wasn't entirely surprised when Amy caught it and focused it straight into a professional perspective. The woman lived and breathed her job and she was very, very good at it. She could catch an opportunity a mile away and if Aiden cooperated he wasn't going to find a better advocate in the entertainment industry.

He wrapped Aiden's hand around his arm in a rather old fashioned means of escort, following Amy. As they went, he lowered his voice and spoke privately to Aiden, leaning in a little to speak in his ear. "We're going to the studio. I believe she wants to present you as a potential model. They might pressure you a little but remember it's up to you." It was all guess work of course but Dorian was pretty sure he was right.

He slid into the back of the limo and Amy signaled the driver to get moving. She pushed blonde hair behind one ear and turned to Dorian, jumping straight into the conversation. "It's a variation on the performance two weeks ago, video instead of live. The practice is upstairs, room three. Then fittings. And I want you to come with me," she added, turning her sharp attention to Aiden. "I want our photographer to take a look at you and try a few practice shots. If it goes well we'll call your parents and arrange a temporary contract."

Dorian sighed, noting Amy said nothing to imply giving Aiden any choice in the matter. It was her way and that attitude was usually just fine with him, but this time it was a problem. He shifted, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees. It was a move that effectively broke the line of sight between Amy and Aiden without being too obvious. "He stays with me," he smiled, voice saying he wasn't going to budge. "But if he wants to try a shoot I'll go with him to the photo studio." He tilted his head questioningly at Aiden.

Jack was not terribly good at picking locks. It was a skill that required a lot more patience and practice than he was usually willing to invest in anything. A decent lock could frustrate the redhead long enough for him to give up and find something less difficult to play with. Fortunately for Jack, the lock on the office door was far from overly sophisticated. It was actually downright crap and he probably could have just jiggled the handle for a little while and had it come undone just as quickly. Either way, Jack was in.

He stole a glance up and down the deserted hallway, running his eyes over the sign that announced this as the assistant principal’s office. There was no sound from inside so he assume he was safe. If not, the mystery teacher should have checked to see what was rattle his door by now. Jack turned the handle and slipped into the room, leaving the door just the tiniest bit open so he could hear if anyone approached. He could feel the smirk on his lips as he made his way over to the desk as quietly as he could, half peering through the faint light, half feeling his way along.

There was something off to the side on the desk and he tried to push it aside so he could get at the first drawer. His fingers slipped over a button and the machine blasted to life. Old school blared out of the machine as Jack cursed and fumbled for the off button. But in the dark he couldn’t even find the stupid volume. Instead his fingers found the battery insert and yanked the compartment open, pulling out the batteries and effectively killing it. The music wasn’t bad, but he’d as good as set off a siren.

But really, what were the odds of someone coming to investigate a random bit of music in a storm? There were a lot more important things to worry about, right? Jack didn’t want to miss this opportunity and so moved back to the desk, ripping out a drawer and carrying it closer to the window in order to capture some of the gray light and dig through it with a bit more visibility. Lighter, lighter, matches… they had to be in there somewhere.

User ImageWhat would you have done to save someone you cared for?
I would rather seal their spirits, even if he didn't want me to, then to see him die the same way...

Minagi kept the umbrella over the vice principal's head in order to show him he had enough respect for him to where he'll help him in the small ways. Once they were inside, safe from the rain, he closed it up and left it there to drip and dry. He followed the principal of the secondary level and gasped. A red-head? This was interesting. Why was he here?

Excuse me. Do you need something? Because we heard the music from the dorms and was wondering why a student would be snooping around?

To those who want to tell me it's not okay for a man to dress this way
Well you probably have the same hobby
