:: A dense forest, somewhere in Scandinavia ::
.: We're nearly there. :. .: You dont need to tell me. I know this place better than you. :.
*Roan moved swiftly through the trees, hoping along the branches with deft ease. Soon enough, the edge of teh forest came into view, then Roan was finally forced back to the ground. Pausing on the forest edge, she sniffed the air, then wrinkled her nose in disgust*
.: It still stinks. :.
*She then headed out onto the plain before her, booted feet kicking up dirt as she sped along the hard ground for a good ten minutes at top speed before it became, suddenly, a ridge. Roan's form careened easily along the very edge of the vast drop as she looked for a certain spot that would lead to the ravine below. After a few minutes, she found it. Her boots kicked up sparks now as shale struck the metal plates while she slid down the steep embankment. At the bottom, she paused, one hand on the ground, her nose again wrinkling in disgust for the smell before her. Shaking her head, she headed along the bottom of the ravine wall, her fingers and sharp eyes looking for the concealed entrance to the sacred place she had first come five hundred years ago*
.: You just went past it. :. .: I did? It was so much easier to find the first time. :. .: That's because I was guiding you. Back up and put your hand out. :.
*Roan did as Take bid, herhand sinking into a patch of wall that looked the same as all the rest. Stepping forwards, she brushed throughthe hidden entrance to teh cave, coughing as she stirred up dust on the floor. INtensifying her night sight, Roan saw thata fresh set of prints lay through the dust of centuries, but this only served to make her smirk as she pressed on into the darkness. Through a narrow crack just wide enough to fit a man, Roan emerged into a larger room, the floor littered with skulls which crunched under her feet. The walls suddenly started to pulse softly as she entered, Take taking great pride in the depictions n the walls - depictions of himself slaughtering millions. Roan merely smile d- she had seen all these pictures before, and thenpainted teh very same ones on Take's new alter at her own home. And speaking of alters.... the cainite found the final entrance into the alter proper. The otehr set of footprints led here too, but Roan could smell no one was here at present. Stepping through the crack, she shielded her eyes against the sudden flare of light from Ferago, which lifted off of her back and drifted across the floor to the slot he had rested in so long ago. Dropping into the slot, another burst of light overtook the room... then calmed. Where the light had been, now there was only Cainite and Daemon, face to face once more. Take cracked his shoulders, rolled his neck and smiled down at Roan*
History loves cycles. It all begins again. Welcome, Roan DeSeer.
*Roan dropped to one knee and bowed her head, grining*
Thank-you, Lord Mikazuchi.

*Several nights later*
Just remember, you took the duty. YOU decided. I know that. I've never forgotten it, and even if I did you'd remind me. I'll happily remind YOU though that Ive never failed in observing the oath. And you'd better hope I never do - there is only one other pure blood of the line besides me. Granted you want us all dead, but think of the power you'll lose. I can cope with your half-blooded children. Cope yes, excel no. Amatsu is never going to be a push over, we both know that. Do not defile this place with that name. Take, its already been defiled by countless werewolves. I cant believe they still come here. My presence is still here and as yet none have been strong enough to take back what they feel was stolen. You'd think they'd have got the point when you helped ME take out your last weilder here and you didnt defend him one jot. I'll hold my opinion on that, if you dont mind. Its time to go. Will this place always be here? Oh yes. It is a natural seam in the world. But it is normally hidden. A place only wolves can find. Then lets leave.
*Roan headed back through the cave system towards the entrane. She stopped however in the room of skulls, her nose alight with a familiar scent*
They've found us. I know. You knew, you mean. You wont aid me? Prehaps one of them will win. A test huh? Of sorts. Fine, but you owe me after this.
*leaving Ferago leaning against the wall, Take standing next to it, watching, Roan stepped forwards to meet her opponents*

*Standing amid the carnage some hours later, Roan contemplated life with her head bowed. Shadows writhed and coiled around her, making her blood red catsuit, hair and eyes stand out liek she was a demon from the pit. Blood oozed from a score of wounds to her arms and legs, but nothing fatal had touched her. The ground was soaked with the blood of fallen wolves. Only now did Roan realise that nearly ever single skull in the room was that of a wolf. This wasnt just a plac eonly wolves could find - it was a place wolves came to die. Slipping Kaos back into its holster quietly and retracting the heavy spikes along her spine and forearms, Roan lifted her head and exhaled*
Satisfied? Oh yes. I was particuarly impressed when you pulled that adolescents spine out completely. I didnt think that was possible. It isnt without shadow play. Good thing you learnt that. Shall we go? I believe you have a date elsewhere now... And you WILL help me this time. Of course - you need me for this one. Shut up. Careful how you speak to me here. Fine. Shut up, your Godship.
*Roan grabbed Ferago from against the wall and made her way out of the cave. Out in the bright moonlight, she stripped off and dived into the cool clear river that ran through the ravine. Satisfied she had cleaned the scent of wolves from her body, she climbed out and allowed the shadows to form around her into a black catsuit, her tattered red one too stained and filthy to even contemplate wearing again. SIghing, she shook her hair dry and again placed Ferago onto her back. Take, who until now had been lounging against a rock, smirked and vanished, returning to the blade as Roan began to climb the rocky walls and head home*

[ Outside the Colosseum ]
*Bard fell from the sky (just after leaping off of the colosseum's edge) his wings spread open and a aura around him began to glow. His eyelids closed slightly as his eyes focused carefully at the floor directly below him, while his thoughts of hell came seeping back into his mind.*
( If anyone knows where she is, its you. )
*As the distance between Bard's face and and the earth grew closer, the firey aura around him burnt with more intense embers. At the moment of impact, the sirens body just seemed to fall through the solidified floor and into the depths below. All that remained was a orange ring of fire that slowly burnt away at the ground.

((*Location: Outskirts of Durem*))
*The darkened figure stood on the cliff edge, looking down at the twinkling lights below, his head cocked slightly to one side. Wind whipped at his body, pulling the cloak wrapped around him back, letting the material snap behind the man, who paid little attention to it, or the biting cold pressing against his bare chest. A pale hand rose to touch an eye patch over one of his eyes, and thin blue tinted lips spread into a thin smirk as his gaze travelled from the set of lights below to the second group in the distance, then beyond to the glow on the horizon that sgnified more towns further on. Shifting his weight a little, the man widened his stance, loose trousers rippling in the wind as he did so, the multiple buckles and chains shifting along with him, fluid as silk. He raised a hand and the winding tattoo on his arm rippled a little before seeming to seep up from his skin and form a miniture wolf which played between his fingers*
Tell them... that it is under control. I will deal with the Wolf and his dogs. We have been apart too long.
*His voice was cold, and faintly amused, the sonorous tone carrying easily over the howling wind as the small wolf like creature yipped once and vanished with a small crack. Watching his arm for a moment, the man smiled when his tattoo did not return. They had turned him loose, it would seem. And thsi would be one job he would relish. Without looking back at the long trail of footprint he had left behind him, the man leapt over the edge of the cliff and vanished into the darkness, though no sound of a body hitting the ground below was heard after the darkness had closed in where he had been*

((*Location: Barton*))
*The wind from two night previous had totally died away now, and Syn found himself walking this road in balmy, gentle air. Stretching his fingers out to touch the bushes alongside the road, he smiled at the feel of fresh life under his finger tips, and leered at the instant withering that occured in his passing. Turning his head as if listening to something close by, his bearing changed as he walked through Barton town, and his easy lope carried him onwards out of the town and up into the hills. The scent he was following grew stronger, and he licked his lips subconsciously. Narrow eyes glanced around him as he narrowed in on the tangible scent in the air, and he soon spotted the slightly hidden trail leading into the woodland. Letting his gait speed up, Syn headed up the gravel track with renewed energy.*

(( Location: Home sweet home / Hell ))
*A sudden rush of orange light flickered in the darkness of Sophus' eyes aggitatingly. He blinked several times adjusting to the bright golden red lava before pondering why he was summoned back here.....back....home. The air was always heavy down here, thicker, warmer, more condensed, making it harder to breathe. It carried a stagnent smell too, a smell which gave Bard a foul taste in his mouth. A tiny sweat bead dripped from Sophus' forehead as he stared longingly at the one path to his master. After a monents thought he started to walk onwards.*
*..... Lurking deep in the abyss Hades' mighty Baritone voice shook the rocky walls causing a few loose boulders to sink into the slurry of earths liquid core, melting them in seconds. His bellowing was aimed at a Legion of armoured ghouls, skeletons, wyverns, demons and other ungodly creatures who stood in their thousands in neat orderly rows. He spoke loudly, encouragingly, pacing up and down like a general would to his army preparing them for war. In the background supporting this mighty voice was a eery composition of music played on a church organ. The organ however wasnt constructed of the normal components. Rather than being made of various woods and metals, the instrument was made purely of various rotten corpses piled wrecklessy together. Instead of having the pipes which pushed out the long dronelike notes, several dragons windpipes were in its place, giving it the essence of Death standard intruments couldnt produce. The maestro of this profound thing was a young looking man, his hair was raven black and trailed loosely just below his dark brown shoulders. He turned his head around while his fingers continued to play. A hellish grin shattered his beauty like a hammer would to a glass mirror.*
....Your just in time for the party....BROTHER.
*The music came to a drastic stop on a dodgy note. The Legion murmered amongst themselves at the horrible sound, Hades attention was immediately drawn to Romaleos who was focussing at the rooms entrance. He could feel it. He could feel the holy presence of his half brother arrive. A few seconds of dead silence came to life as Sophus came into vision from the dark tunnel, his opposing wings spread wide, cape drifting behind him and a feint red aura seemed to burn off of his physique. He stared wideeyed at his father who now stood before him.*

As Sophus cried out in query and shock to his father, a dull light formed at the far end of the tunnel behind him, however it grew brighter and brighter, the saphire sticking out like a sore thumb amongst the dank of the abyss.
Before Bard would have the chance to realize it, the light shot to glow behind him, and Ragnarok's angelic figure appeared from the light, eyes closed, grey and black hair flowing and ash grey celestian headwings rustling gently over his ears.
Quickly however the glow turned to obsidian and a deep ruby, and the classy attre Narok wore burnt away, replaced by Norse knightly armor and garbs, his long, powerful looking masamune strapped to his left hip, the blade resting on the ground behind him, as the long wooden knot like handle jutted out infront of him, near poking Sophus in the back.
As the glow about him changed, Narok's eyes opened, and he looked down at the much shorter Sophus with slight query and surprise, his aged features growing some what stern.
"I know you..."

*Sophus' attention was suddenly stolen from unknown voice that came from behind him. His golden hair shifted from one side to the next as he turned to see the man behind the voice. Sophus stared at the overtowering stranger who seemed well equipped for war.*
...Do you ?
*At this point Romaleos steadily headed towards his father, ignoring what the two had to say.*
The time is coming father. You shall have your moment of triumph very soon. Nearly all the fallen have returned, i suggest you fill the boy in with our current plans.
*Sophus studied the strangers face. The tribal patterns seemed very familiar too him but the face structure was that of another. Sophus spoke again totally clueless.*
....Corbin ?

Smirking, Narok, looking to be fourty to fifty closed his eyes and walked around Sophus, sifting through the memories he had only just moments ago aquiered from Roan. Standing infront of Bard now, with his back turned to him, the elder turned his head back, showing the left side of his face, so distinctively marred, and the celestian saphire eye, in which a great power slept.
"Close. Ragnarok Blazeheart. Corbin is my son, Siren."

*The shock hit Sophus like a ton of bricks, his brain felt like it was going to crack under all the unresolved questions he needed to ask.*
Grrrr will somebody tell me whats going on. Why is Corbins father alive......why is he here...what plans do you have father and why the legions, WHATS HAPPENEING ?
*Romaleos smirked with pleasure at Sophus' lack of knowledge.*
Father is leaving and we're in charge of this realm until he gets back. Y'see a certain group of individuals seem to send Father alot of work. These uncontrollable warriors have a untameable lust for the destruction of their killers, they refuse to rest knowing theyre killer is alive. Narok is one of our finest, though he did need some extra persuading. This collection of warriors is the legion that stand before you. Every soul that the rotten DeSeer have taken will rise with father and dominate the Earth realm.
*Sophus eyes almost ripped through their sockets. What he heard couldnt be the truth.*
The DeSeer, your sending all these men after Roan ?

"Not just Roan."
Speaking up, Ragnarok turned to look Bard in the eyes, his stern elderly features and countless scars, however most were impossible to see beneath his robes told of the many battles he had been in. Two of the worst bein with Roan. The scar that crossed over the bridge of his nose, was made by her daemon blade.
About to speak once more, he was cut off by a demon that towered over all the rest. This monsterous beast placed a large hand on Narok's shoulder, and instantly, the old man turned stiff as a board, the vitality in his ees however flaring with youthfull power.
"We hunt them all for what they did to us. I Surt, the demon king even fell to that runt of a Cainite, the son of this old war horse fool."
Surt then pulled Ragnarok, who's headwings gradually grew darker and darker, the longer Surt held him. The two then vanished into the legions.

( Narok, Surt, thousands if not millions of victims to the brood's hunger all at once ? This is unimaginable. )
*A few seconds of silence fell upon Bard as he contemplated the catastrophic results of the soon to be 'war on earth'. Scenes of hellfire raged in his eyes, his ears twitched at the screams of his 'comrades' falling. He tried focusing on sending a message to Roan via telepathy but for some reason he couldnt even pickup a single trace of her. He tried again....nothing.*
( Father must have created some kind telepathic jamming to prevent the Legions from being controlled by anothers will......s**t )
Dont even try. It wont work.
*Now seated next to his father, Romaleos's tone ripped through the air like a razorblade, slicing directly through Sophus' concentration whilst stealing his attention once again. Their eyes locked intensly, fear surged through Sophus' body, his inner self was shaking. Romaleos thrived on his brothers emotional weakness, its what made him the stronger of the two. Out of spite, Romaleos' poisonous tongue lashed out at Bard.
Dont be so pathetic. Cant you see she lured you in from the start. She continues to hurt you and yet you still come back for more. Your blind Sophus TOTALLY blind.
*Now his snake like voice had a sharp edge behind it.
A WOMAN LIKE THAT doesnt have the CAPACITY to express emotions such as LOVE....
*The hairs on Sophus' neck started to rise, the veins in his forearms bulged all the way down to his clenched fists. A jagged sound creeked from his gritted teeth*
...For the better of the planet that woman is better off DEAD !
*Sophus snarled at his brother with rage, he charged forwards pulling back his right arm readying the blow. His opposing wings flared out and flapped powerfuly giving him extra force behind the soon to be punch to the face. Romaleos froze in suprise, within the space of two seconds he was laying on the floor next to his toppled chair.*
ENOUGH !
The roar came from Hades, he towered over the two boys menacingly. His demonic stare locked their feet into the ground. A bright light shone from the depths of his gauntlet palms, in seconds the light forged itself into a ball of energy. It swirled slowly radiating immense heat and ki. The darklord took aim at his sons.*
You leave me no choice.....

*Sophus' eyelids flickered casting a vision of red and black in his eyes while his presence clawed its way back into consciousness. When he was stable enough to rise he noticed he was laying in his unused bedroom. His abdomen burned furiously at every movement he made, he groaned as he struggled just to get to his feet. He placed a hand on a gargoyle shaped bedpost for stability then slowly pushed the door handle down with his free hand.
*Hades throne was empty, he was in his private quarters armouring the rest of his body with some dark mythril. His scythe rested on his back which seemed to be magnetically fastened, the blade a glorious white metal shone even in minor light. He walked over towards his gothic closet and locked it just as Sophus had found him.*
Father....may i come with you. If your going to kill Roan at least take me with you to see it with my own eyes.
*The startled Lord replied just as the key turned with a click.*
....Im sorry but i cannot allow it. Without you Romaleos is incapable of controlling the dark energies of this realm. He is strong but immature. You will stay here.
*It seems that Sophus' persuasive techniques were not enough to sway his father. He needed to come up with another plan to get back to the Tavern.*
I....i understand.
*A strand of golden hair covered his eyes as his head fell down in dissapointment. Hades brushed past his son giving him a sympathetic look.*
I have some things to do.... be the strong son that i know you can be and protect this place while im gone. If you can achieve this i may have a reward for you.
*Hades was soon to leave the awkward scene and left Bard to gather his thoughts. Emotional things were what Sophus' mother was best at , not him. As soon as Hades was out of Sophus' sight he headed for the suspicous looking closet, which still held the key to its lock. The skull shaped key remains that poked out of the lock called for Sophus to open the doors. His slim pale hand reached forwards and anticipation overcame him. 'Click' The door creeked open revealing a cold air shrouded in miles of darkness. Deep in the darkness Sophus could make out a strange small red light.....he continued to pull back the door. As the light drew closer the red light dispersed into two, behind grew another two and behind that another two. He continued to stare into the void until a figure slowly enveiled itself......

*The doors slammed shut with a mighty boom. Now in a panic Sophus fumbled for the lock to click back into place. As soon as the key rotated around to its side the Siren child was rushing towards the throne, his heart beated violently.*
In the meantime the Legions had spent their time wisely. Nearly each warrior was protected in dark mythril armour and were now fashioning weapons of all shapes and sizes. A selected few stuck out from the regulars though like a sore thumb. Naroks unique armour encased the unique mans soul. I doubt Hades could even make him swap attire. Another old face was wearing a different attire, maybe these selected few were of a higher rank and did not need the protection of the dead. Their time was soon coming.*
