Rikka started whimpering, staring at that . . . that thing with wide eyes. The shattering glass had cut her arms and face, but she was too terrified to feel the pain. She was afraid of what those spikes would feel like, being run through her body. She was afraid of being crushed into a wall, her broken body left there as some sort of decoration. She was afraid of being killed. Rikka remembered how she was holding her sisters bow, and she fired a shot at the Corpus Morte. "Get back!" she cried. "If there is anything inside you, anything that even has a concious get away!" She turned and ran, ducking behind the first shard of twisted metal she found large enough to cover her. "I don't want to die," she chanted. "I don't want to die, I don't want to die, I dont' want to die!"

((Summoner, Matt))
Corpus Morte turned to Rikka with a dead look in it's eyes. The arrow had singed the plating on his head, but not much more. It turned, bellowing with mindless fury, charging at Rikka as fast as it can, tearing holes in anything it touched. Across it's heavily muscled chest was a word, branded into the flesh.
"War"
---
The cells of Carnophage that had attached to Abel died almost instantly, the heavy vibrations destroying the genetic material of the viral cells almost immediately. The main body was weakened... but it had ways of dealing with this, it dashed forward and scrapped the tram, cutting the bar out, before crawling off to a hot, wet, place where it could fester and wait.

Rikka ducked out of the way, the word war burning into her mind. Was this thing, this living thing created as yet another weapon? Rikka pulled back the string, her magic taking arrow form and burning towards corpus morte.
"I don't . . . I don't want to kill you," she told it. "You're leaving me no choice. You . . . you were damned the moment that this place created you. Why can't you fight against your fate, like Khane has? It seems to me that you have no conciousness . . . nothing inside you that tells you what to do. Or maybe there is, but it tells you only to destroy. Whatever you are, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that this world has done this to you, and I'm sorry that you have to be destroyed." Rikka pulled back another arrow, but this time she aimed for the weapons. She needed to get that task done as well, and this was a good a time as any.
The arrow of light connected with the ripper gun, the first thing Rikka had managed to spot. Then she turned the bow back and corpus morte, preparing to attack and defend herself once more. "Forgive me, I just pray that Khane doesn't tell me your a brother too!"

Abel felt his nano-probes begin to clear the infection from him, he was going to be alright. The problem was that the beast was still alive, but he had gained valuable knowledge from his near death experience. The beast was a have mind, so he had discovered a weakness, not a crippling one, but it would be enough. He just needed to get to the other weapons complex.
"Wait, aw son of a b***h the Tram is dead."
Abel had no means of getting there, until he realized his new Zero-Point Manipulation gun could move things with out restrictions of gravity or friction, this gave him an idea. He looked around and found a large metal sheet that had come off the broken tram. He got on it and took out his ZPM gun.
"Well here goes nothing."
He hit the trigger and pointed it towards the tram line that led to the Alpha complex, he hoped to find what he needed there. Suddenly he was off going far faster than he expected. He was only able to keep from falling off from thanks to his magnetic boot tips. Within moments he passed by the tram junction and headed to the Alpha complex. As he neared the place he saw two things that surprised him. The first was a girl, the next was another creature. He was thinking about what was going on when he realized he had no brakes...s**t. Without thinking he did the only thing he could think of, and that was aim for the creature.
"Well whatever the hell you are, eat this!"
He crashed into the beast and then jumped off and landed next to the girl.
"Hi , name's Abel, Khane's partner need some help?"

The arrow singed more of Corpus Morte's plating, bouncing off and smashing some lights into wherever it is that lights go when they die. The sheet of metal stuck into it's gut, singing in slowly. It bulged, and grew, the singe marks disappearing. Violence only begets Violence, War only begets war. It opened it's mouth, and spoke in a clear, articulated, South African accent."What do you know of Death?"

Abel looked over at the creature... it actually could talk, and for some reason it referred to Khane as death. That could only mean that Khane was originally supposed to be part of the group of 4 that Carnophage and this thing belonged to. It was obvious that this guy was from the same project as the infectious b*****d back there, but what he was able to do was a mystery. Now while he was surprised that the creature spoke, he was not too surprised that Khane would be part of the group, but why let him survive? That he would have to ask later.
"Death? You mean Khane? I work with him, it's all in the pamphlet, and I keep telling him, talk with an accent, Jamaican preferably, it would help marketing so much. Now you with your nice accent, that works, need an agent?"

At first Rikka thought Death was reffuring to death, but she guessed that Abel knew more about this place than she did. Her face turned a little red, "Y-yes, a little help would be a big help," then she realized just how tongue tied she had just sounded, and took to being quiet again.
"I don't know anything, I'm just an ignorant outsider, forced into this world by my sister," Rikka told it. "I'm only doing as he bids, without understanding what I'm doing. Khane told me this weapons could . . . no would hurt people. He said to destroy them and I will."
Then she looked at Abel, "Sarcasm is unbecoming," she said shyly. "You shouldn't be so cruel to it. You'll either make it angry or . . ." she quickly swollowed 'you'll hurt its feelings' and sighed. "It doesn't matter what else it will do, but you really will make it angry. I tend to think that making anything or anyone angry is a bad thing, do you agree?"
Rikka pulled back on the bow again. "Now I have a question for you," she told it. "What exactly is your purpose? I don't understand anything about you or about this building that surronds you. I'm slowly learning, but is destruction the only path?"

War's deep accent rumbled through the room."My purpose is to join my brothers during Operation Hostile Takeover, where Myself, Carnophage, Leviathan, and Taco would be unleashed upon the world. The ensuing chaos would allow the Goldwind Company the time it needed to pull a full takeover of the world, because the governments of the world would be thrown into too much chaos to hold their ground against Goldwind's forces. Each of us represents a different horsemen of the Apocalypse, I am War. And it looks like you've already been face to maw with Pestilence." He noted Abel's more than ragged appearance.

The more this thing talked the more Abel was surprised by its revelations. Knowing about Carnophage was obvious, but the plan that Goldwind had was just too much. Letting that happen would be wrong, especially is the banks were taken over. Though what he was interested in was Taco, most likely the incarnation of famine.
"So in other words you guys want to begin an apocalyptic event as a distraction for the main problem. Well I am sorry but I can't let that happen. I like my money where it is thanks, and if the world was taken over, well then what would happen to all my assets? Destroyed I am guessing, right?"
As Abel talked to the creature he remembered he was not facing it alone, so he would have to figure out what good the girl was to him.
"Girl, you have your answer do you understand that we must stop them? Now stop stalling and show me that you can be useful."

"War is defeated by peace," she said mostly to herself. "But for peace I have to fight. Just remember that Rikka, you're not all alone." Rikka pulled back even more on her bow, and let the arrow fly. A white tail formed, streaking towards War. "Hit the mark!" Rikka pleaded. "Dear god, please let it hit . . ."
Rikka closed her eyes and ran, taking a few ginger steps to step before pulling back another arrow and released it, pulling back another in quick succession. A bow was easy, at least she knew how to pull back a string. Her aim seemed to be a little off though . . . looks like she needed a lot more practice if she was going to be a formitable fighter.

The arrows bounced off War harmlessly... leaving singe marks that were quickly sloughed off. War lumbered forward slowly, leaving a trail of gore and devastation in his wake, his lawed feet ripping holes in the floor as pieces of guard and scientist fell off at random, splattering on the ground."Violence begets Violence, War begets War... To fight with any kind of cause, any kind of emotion, and kind of need or fury... and you do nothing but perpetuate my existence. I am War." War picked up speed, bearing down on Rikka, his spiky carapace shielding him for the most part. Shards of metal from the floor flew out behind him. The beast of war plowed on.

Rikka crossed her arms in front of her, the light flickering for a moment before the barrier went up. War charged right into, but at least that monster did not hit her directly. As soon as the barrier made contact with it, she bounced backwards, hitting the wall, before slumping at the base.
It felt like getting hit by a train, and War had not even hit her full on. "Ouch," she said. Rikka rubbed her head a little. "That really hurt . . ." Rikka pulled her hand away, specks of blood on her finger tips. Okay, now she was bleeding. This just wasn't her freaking day was it?

Abel watched as Rikka was hit by war and sent flying into the wall, what ever her barrier was supposed to do it didn't come close to working.
"God damn, do I have to do everything around here? Stay there and rest I have a plan."
He knew that attacking the creature would do nothing since he had just stated that he fed and became stronger from violence. Doing nothing was out of the question, so what remained was to be passive. Not peaceful, not war like, just neutral, like the Swiss. He took out the Zero Point Manipulation Gun and pointed it at War, hoping to just trap it in the anti gravity beam.
"Well here goes nothing."

War slowly ground to a halt. The gravity beam wasn't strong enough to lift him, but it sapped him of his momentum. He grunted, and tried to keep running forward, but there was no friction. He sank his claws into the steel flooring and tried to pull forward, but the field was too strong. War had ground to a stand still.

Abel held the beam in place seeing that it was actually working. The beast was trapped, meaning it could be dealt with. He was about to walk towards it when a warning blared in his head.
"WARNING CRITICAL SYSTEM FAILURE IMMINENT! AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN INITIATED FOR REPAIRS IN 30 SECONDS! Thank you, have a nice day."
Abel could not believe his luck, he had only a few moments left to do something. He set the gun on a constant beam and threw it to Rikka.
"Hold him with this, I...can't...keep... from...sh..uti..ng..doooooown..."
He held out for the time and then all his systems were down, and the nanintes would begin their job.
