 This is the Official GCSG thread for all things pertaining to Ragnarok Online, as well as the guild we have on the Private Server, XileRO.
Ragnarok Online is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online RPG) by Gravity Software. You play as a character of your own creation, starting off in the town of Prontera. From there, you battle monsters to level up and advance to new jobs and new strengths. And it's even more fun if you play with friends!
If you've come because you want to play with us, you can read up on a how to play guide or two (this one has interface instructions) while you download the two files from the links below.
When you finish reading, you'll want to sign up for a new account at the XileRO Website for an EZ Server account. Fill out the form, enter the information, and create a character! You'll arrive in the main town and your adventure begins! All new players must contact myself (TurtleRose or Wild Rose), or Hirun (Bato Kurai) In game, If they wish to join the guild. Have a nice day. n-n;
(type the character name in the first box on the chat bar and the message in the second bar to whisper to us from anywhere).
Edit: Use this instead of the full game at XileRO.net, then download the autopatcher from XileRO.net.
Just so you know, were all on the EZ server.

August 15, 2007 Just so you all know, we have taken up another server as our alternate to XileRO. It has higher rates, and seems to be alot more fun. Porings give apparently 40 lvls the first kill, job lvls are infinite, you can use the @disguise command (only in one room), the server is just as populated as XileRO, and its donates are only uber wings. The only problem so far with this server is that you can't reset stats. ScytheRO is our alternate server. Please keep in mind we are not getting rid of our characters on XileRO completely and will still play on them. <3 Signed, Turtle-chan.

Turtle_Devil MonJ I would LIKE to play Ragnorok online, but you have to pay and stuff.... Also, I've found other stuff to do on the internet. Ragnorok would be a nice addition, if I could.... There are free servers 'n stuff. xDDDD ? Never found out bout that. Unfortunately, to play Ragnorok I have to go to my cousins house, though... What free servers? eek omg....I missed something?!?!!?

Google. They've been around for the longest time ever since source code was stolen from Gravity. Its a touchy subject on gaia though. You can't really talk much about it in the RO forums.
