&&&||tried to save a place for my cuts and my scratches.||tried to overcome my complications and my catches.|| || nothing ever grows and the sun doesn't shine all day... ||&&& Thanks guys! And yes, I've been very wary of plaque. It's been almost two weeks now, healing great. Still rinsing after meals with mouthwash. I just need to stop playing with it. I keep pushing it back and forth with my tongue... it's not getting irritated but I don't wanna damage it. It's just so fun! @___@ Hehe.

Proud to be a polite Duremite...A bit of an update- healed like a beauty, zero complications- only problem is I can't get the ball off to change the barbell @___@ I'm going to have my rook done in 13 days so I might have them help me change it then. Recent pictures (woot I'm on bme biggrin ) Sorry for big pics @_@ I can't even begin to say how much I love this piercing. Something so small provides me with lots of joy whee It's fun to play with, and it's cute and secretive. I'm thinking of adding another one either a bit behind it or above it. Double the fun ~ ...Because who can resist Moira and Natasha? <3

Proud to be a polite Duremite...
The swelling for me was zero to none. It was kind of sore the next day but talking and eating wasn't a problem. It didn't really feel like I salivated more, but during the piercing I drooled like never before, LOL.

Lol I felt so gross sitting there drooling into a cup, I started laughing and he was like "Stop that, you keep moving your tongue!" Which made me laugh and drool more. xD;
He suggested that I stay away from sticky foods like gum for a few days just in case it got tangled in the piercing somehow, and he didn't tell me this but I'd stay away from citrus foods- oranges burn in fresh oral piercings!

FYI Veya you're supposed to stay away from anything super acidic after getting any kind of oral piercing, even your lip.
Not only acidic foods but really hot stuff too.
Most piercers tell you that, at least everyone i've gone too.

YES! you're the only person i've ever seen with their tongue webbing pierced too. all my friends think it's gross and one of them asked why i got it when no one can see it. i was so excited when i finally got it done ;3
