~Familiars~

Welcome to the world of the familiars; magical creatures who slip between our world and their own, to help humans with special powers to discover them, or to develop them. Familiars are powerful and protective allies, and through honoring and building the relationship between the human and familiar, the magical power of both will grow. The familiars, as powerful beings from their own world, may choose what humans they will teach and protect. The humans that the familiars choose may have special powers, such as pyrokenisis or telepathy, or may simply be lost or alone in their lives.

(**Note~ this is actually an RP I started elsewhere, but it died in a manner of days. I didn't want to just let it die, though, so I ressurected it, a bit tweaked and edited, to bring it here!I'm expecting a much better reception for this from a group with a Pagan mindset!**)

Rules:

~*~ You can play whichever you want, human or familiar, and as as many characters as you think you can handle, but if you do play both, you cannot be your own familiar.
~*~ The people who play as familiars get to choose the pairings. If you are a human, you can pm the familiar you want and ask them personally, but they have the final say.
~*~ This is a long term rp. Don't bother joining if you're just going to post a one liner and then not show up for a month.
~*~ This rp is LITERATE. Few to no grammatical errors. Of course I will forgive minor spellings and things like that, but please, no "ru 4rl", no *waks into room* hi ppl *waves*. LITERATE. Type it out. Sorry, but I'm just a**l like that.
~*~ No godmodding. It's annoying.
~*~ All OOC discussion must be placed in ((parentheses)) or something similar.
~*~ Obey the TOS.
~*~ Anyone wishing to join must send me a character profile in a pm with the words "La Vie Boheme" in the title to show me that you read the rules and so I can post your profile in the profile post (whoa, redundant alliteration...).
~*~ I am Goddess of this rp, and anything I say goes. That is, unless I'm overridden by RevKeltina or Chris or somebody...

Human 1~ Gaia Name~ Gonna Sing The Doom Song
Character Name ~ She just goes by "Oni."
Gender ~ Female.
Human/Familiar ~ Human.
Age ~ 15
Power/Ability ~ She can control plants and sense emotions.
Appearance ~ Oni has pale skin and has silvery hair down to her waist. She has one blue eye and one green eye. She usually wears a white dress down to her knees and white shoes that lace up to her shin.
Personality~ She is very warm and caring to everyone, and has even been called an angel. She's also curious and always trying to learn something new.
History ~ Ever since she was little, she's had delicate health. She got tired easily and would faint or get sick very often, but as she got older, she would spend more time in her garden, slowly getting stronger. Her family always protected her from reality and was raised to be very proper, but behind everyone's backs, she would play with the animals that would wander by. She's always tried to prove that she's "a big girl now" but her father always ignored her efforts and would continue to baby her.

Power/Ability ~ Telepathy, and she can change into any species of feline
Appearance ~ Has the body of any cat she wishes, but always has one silver eye and one green one.
Personality~ Cree, while different from ordinary cats, acts exactly like them most of the time. She purrs when she's happy, bites and scratches when she's pissed, and does the exact opposite of whatever a human happens to tell her to do. Despite this, she is and experienced and helpful familiar to her humans.
History ~ Cree was an only kitten, and was always very lonely and withdrawn until she became a full-fledged familiar. Now that she is, she is only truly happy when she's with a human counterpart.
