+++The land itself is a desolate place. All signs of life have been stripped. The only signs that there were once that are the dead trees standing guard over sections of walls that crumbled from the sheer strain of time against them. All of this doing its job. That and the negative energy storms that are seemingly constant adding to the corosion ten fold for even buildings slowly decay and these storms merely increase the process. Worn dirt paths are the only true indication of where one has travelled before hand. Some of these going off into areas that can only be said to be the followers of the Lich Lord. Already having converted towards lichdom and living within his plane. These are those that have dedicated their lives to the dark arts. The ones more powerful than the necromancers. Yet, their lives are now controlled by that of the Lich Lord. Small cult areas and buildings dot far and wide. Numerous can't be described of this place, but each one seems to lead underground.

+++Each one seemingly guarded by a creature of death itself. Yet, these aren't even the only thing to be scared of. Creatures beyond the imaginations of even humans exist upon the plane. Though, they may not be many in numbers they can cause untold destruction. At the top of this is the cadaver collector. Collecting the bodies that seemginly flow with the planar travel after death and end up on the plane. Though, some of them are victims of the untold curiousity and even experimentation of the liches and the Lich Lord himself. Even with the cadaver collectors bodies hang from dead trees, not a drop of blood within them. Bodies flayed open and nailed against the crumbling walls. Bodies skinned and left to rot. What their skin is used for cannot even be determined unless one knew the depths of the dark arts that were at play here.

+++Though, more numerous than any of the creatures are the skeletons and zombies that make up the cannon fodder of Vlad's armies. They patrol the grounds at random, and if an intruder is found they will willingly sacrifice their own existence to add another to the All-Mighty's vast hordes and legions. For even upon their death they may be revived once more with the magical properties and the death that is ever present upon the Da'ath Plane. The most patrolled areas are around the bridges and the crossings of the "rivers" that are ever present. Even the liches under the rule of Vlad have taken a liking to be near these. Rivers and lakes are present, but there is no water. Nothing but the ever flowing blood from the many many victims and sacrifices that the followers of Vlad use. The blood itself is one of the many powers that help keep the plane stable and even help give the Lich Lord the look of youth as well as helping create the gateway for the entrance. This just means water is a scarce commodity and if one travels the lands without a quickness and bounce in their step their is the possibility of dying from dehydration.

+++All of this merely leads to the lich cults that are numerous upon the land. The monsters that frequent it, this counts even the true gods of death for the demi-god has had visitors in the past. Yet, none of them stay for long for even this place of foreboding power and vastness seems to shock the seemingly unshakeable higher powers at times. Yet, all of the paths that can be taken eventually lead to the mighty fortress that the Lich Lord wells in.
