А а- ah as in taught
Б б- b as in beat
В в- v as in Vet
Сс- S as in Sit
Г г- h as happy
Ґ ґ - g as in get
Д д - d as Day
Е е- eh as in set
Н н-n as in no
Ё ё- yo as in yoghurt
Ж ж- zh as in Measure
К к- k as in Kitten
З з- z as in zebra
И и/І і- i as in eat, meet
Й й-y as in boy
Є є- ye as in yet
Ђ ђ- j as jolt
Э э-ey as in bay
Ф ф- f as in fish
Т т- t as in tiger
Њ њ- ny/nj as in nyaa
Ю ю- yu as Ukraine, yura
Я я- ya as in yah
Х х-ch/kh- guttural "h" as in the scottish word Loch
Ц ц- Ts/Cz/Tz as cats, tsar
Ч ч- ch as in chocolate (lips rounded)
Ш ш-sh as in Shoot (lips rounded)
Щ щ-Shch-as in hush child (lips rounded)
О о- oh as boat,tote
П п- p as in peter
Р р- r as in rat ( trilled)
Л л- l as in lime
Љ љ- ly as in Million
Ы ы- i as in sit (tongue pulled to back of the mouth)
У у- u as in flute, shoot
Ь ь- glottal stop (like in danish, in which you cut off on part of the word and then pronounce the next part)

*И и is used in the nominitive, instrumental, and dative case while І і is used in the Genitive, Accusative and other cases

if "г" follows an "о" then г makes a "v" sound

Лэы(Lei)-she
-(Myi)(feminine)/Мы(mi)(Masculine)/Mычу(michu)-We
Вони(Voni)(masculine)/Воншка(Vonshka) (feminine)/Чонимо (chonmo) (neuter)-they
Гойшка (Hoyshka)-it (neuter)

**"it" stays the same regardless if the noun is Neuter, feminine or masculine***

Тебё(Tebyo)(Masculine)/Тењашка(Tenyashka)(feminine)/Теля(Telya)(Neuter) -you

Regional Differences

* the southern dialects "Ё"(yo) is used for the feminine "I" and Она (Ona) is used for "she"
**Western dialects use the following instead of the regular pronouns
Иа/Ђо (ia/Jo)- I
Цы/Хо(Tsi/Kho) you
Ґїамой(Giyamoy)-we (they only use one word for "we")
Вома(Voma)-She
Роц(Rots)-he
Рони(Roni)/Циамо(Tsiamo)/Шонимо(shonimo)-they
