An old wolf stood and eyed a glassy surfaced lake, it reflected the stars and a brightly glowing full moon. it was not what was going on above the surface however that interested the old wolf, no he was far more curious about what the water itself and that which was in it was doing. He was old, so old and his bones told him it was time, he could not hold out much longer and no apprentice had come to take his place, it had to be now it just had to.
He keened softly and waited, if it was time and it should be something would happen. Sure enough as the last note pieced the air then faded into silence the lake began to rippled sending wave of glowing water out in rings from the middle. It did this for a moment then settled. Pari grinned and his yellow eyes flashed in the darkness, it was time.
He left the lake and padded uphill to the highest point in the valley then he unleashed a howl low and long that would carry to the ends of the earth. As he howled he seemed to glow with a strange aura that if one could see it would let the viewer know that while he was not among the special ranks of wolves he was indeed unique. Ignoring this Pari howled and called to his brethren, it was time and they must gather.
( Welcome to the wolf song event, this is going to be a huge multipack event and will hopefully open up major plots for the future. For now all you need to do is stay within the rules and reply for things to go fine. if additional things are needed you will be made aware.
Right now every wolf of every age has heard Pari’s howl. Pups have no clue what’s going on. Anyone older will have heard stories of the mysterious howl that lead all wolves to “the gathering place.” happened every so many years. Alpha’s have more knowledge and are the ones best capable of leading their packs to the valley.
Everyone can reply and travel alone or with their pack but no one can enter that valley until the signal is given.
Depending on how fast rp travels in a week or two all the packs will merge and travel as a hoard to the meeting place. This is the only time inter pack relationships and breedings will be accepted.
For now reply to hearing the howl group into your packs then follow your alpha’s or appoint a leader if your alpha goes awol. Blitz pack I’ll be leading us for this .

Tsume wandered around the barren landscape of his packlands. It was then that he heard the howl ringing out towards every direction of the lands. He pricked his ears up and looked back at the caves where his packmembers usually stayed during the day. Did they hear the howl too? He had no pups so they wouldn't be slowed down with that problem. The adolescents wouldn't be much a problem. He knew of a few that were strong enough to stay with the pack. His mate and other son might stay behind, but he hadn't seen them in some time. Sighing, he sat down where he was standing and waited for whoever heard the wolf call to come towards him.

Yawning sleepily and stretching out on a rock near the caves, Mthyril looked around blankly at the setting and gave his tail a weak wag. He hadn't seen any of his pack members in quite awhile and wondered where everyone was. His ears twitched suddenly as he heard the low howl. Rising to his paws, he hopped off of the rock and looked around curiously. What was going on?
He started off in a random direction, looking for anyone else that may have heard the howl. He paused a few feet away from a rather large, rather familiar wolf. Mthyril paused and bowed his head respectively as he approached.

Tsume heard the dull sound of paws before he saw the wolf approach him. He gazed at the male wolf as he bowed his head respectively towards Tsume and the alpha bobbed his head back. Standing up, he raised his tail high in the air as he saw some more wolves approach them.
Shikon, Raven, and Zelda were the first three of the four wolves to approach the alpha, bowing their heads like Mthyril. The last one to approach was Siyavash, who didn't bother to bow to the alpha wolf. Tsume didn't mind at all. He knew that she was too blind to see that he was the pack leader. He gazed at the five adults in front of him and wondered if this was all that was going to come with him. 'Probably,' he thought to himself. 'Though I am going to give the other wolves about ten more minutes before I leave' He nodded to himself and gazed at the small group of wolves in front of him and smiled slightly at them.
Arisella lifted her head up as she heard a faint howl in the distance. Curious of where the howl was coming from and who produced such a howl, she slunk out of her little hole in the ground and went in search of her pack's alpha.
Dakawa was laying near his mother's den when he heard the howl. Flicking an ear, he gazed into the den and wondered if she had heard it.

Riau's ears stood as he lifted his head from his paws. "Flash" He mumbled to he before nudging his mate. Flash's eyes fluttered open as she gazed at him in wonder. "Grab Raevyn." Flash stood stretching slightly before grabbing her sleeping pup by the back of her neck. As they ventured into the forest heading towards the rest of the pack, Locke and Rakar soon met up with them. "You heard it too?" Asked Rakar, and Riau nodded in reply. They didn't know why there were attracted to this but they would soon find out.
Glace continued to walk through the forest towards the Alpha of his pack. Chenoa yawned as she glanced up from her den. Her stomach had grown, and she found herself very tired these late days. She glanced towards Chinook wondering what he planned to do.

Chinook sighed deeply. The howl called to them, but yet he worried deeply of his mate and her unborns. He turned to her deep worry in his eyes. "How are you feeling?"

"So uh...." Myth looked around at the other wolves of the pack he hardly knew. "Does anyone know what's going on?" He asked innocently tilting his head to the side and flicking his tail. He was at a total lost for now and didn't like it one bit.
The young shaman made his journey slowly across a open and bare field on the outskirts of the Barren's pack territory. His days were calm now usually and having nothing really to do but study his herbal remedies, he was content with the course of life for now.
Pausing suddenly, his ears twitched as he glanced around; a howl echoing in the wind. He listened closely to it, trying to deciphar why the howl he had heard had occured now and why the whispers of nature surrounding him confused him for the very first time. Fenris heaved a heavy sigh, continuing on once more and looking around for any others that may of heard the low howl.

Ears pricked Aren listened intently and then grinned. Ahh he had hoped to be Alpha when the time for gathering came, he had heard stories as a pup about it and now his dream was coming true. Standing he shook dust from his fur and padded towards the Bltiz pack's typical meeting place. There would be much to discuss and the sooner they were togeather the sooner everythign could be discussed and they'd be on their way.

Riau head dipped low as he continued to push his way through the brush, Flash close behind with Raevyn still sleeping. it was a miracle she hadn't awakened from the way Rakar and Locke were goofing around the whole time they were traveling. Locke yelped, as a fight was soon to break out. "Stop it you two! There is no time for this. besides....were there." They soon walked into the Blitz pack's meeting place. Seeing their Alpha they bowed in respect, Raevyn finally waking up from her long slumber.
Chenoa smiled sweetly. "Fine. What do you plan on doing. I am fit for travel." She stated pushing her feet under her belly preparing to life herself to her feet. "Are we leaving?"
Glace nosed his way through soon locating the normal pack's meeting place. He layed down, head on paws letting out a sigh as he waited for other's to come.

Hiei joined Tsume also bowing his head and taking his place beside Raven. He gave a slight nuzzle the the female's neck then flickered his crimson eyes to Tsume to see his reaction to the advances on the female. The mostly black wolf shook off his dusty fur and gave something close to a smile at his future mate. "Hn, this sounds like its going to be interesting."

Gregori lifted his head from his resting place from where his mate and his daughter slept. Colby was laying on her stomach beside Gregori while Sable was curled up like a puppy. His ears swiveled as he took in the howl and smiled. It was time for the pack to be introduced to everyone else in the lands. Colby had told him before she had been tired lately and said Sable could go with him if she'd like.
Now he nudged her awake. "Sable," he said when the teen stirred. "It's time, Fille." Sable opened her beautiful deep gray eyes. "Really?" At her father's nod she stretched and came to her feet with a little wag of her tail. Her father led her out of the den so they could start their journey to the event.
Phoenix padded outside of the den to hear the howling in the distance. "The Song Festival nears." Her tail was down with her ears foreward. The alphaess had wondered where her mate had disappeared too. Being the only alpha left for the time being, she barked to the rest of her pack. "Come on. We're going to the festival." She stated calmly as she started to move.
Sunset looked to her friend Blake before following her mother, Blake in tow as he followed her.
Elric paced himself with the others. He turned to Myth when he asked what was going. In a soft voice that felt like silk, he replied, "The Song Festival is what goes on. It is the only time wolf packs from around come to meet and be civil to each other." Elric himself wanted to see what this event was as he only heard about it from his venturings in their lands.
Lucifur paced the edge of the river, listening at the howl. An evil gleam was in his eyes as he thought over the trouble he could bring to this event. He even howled to Lilith, curious to where his potential mate was.
Lilith didn't answer him as she was venturing towards the meeting place. She still had awhile to get there and any howling back would make her slow her progress. She wasn't about to answer the devil. He wanted her, he'd have to find her.
Luc growled softly. He hated when she didn't answer him and thus followed her scent.
Jareth paced beside his mate Skyling. "shall we go?" he asked her. SHe looked at him with her silver eyes, adjusting her choker. "Why?" she replied. He shrugged. "To see if we can find anyone else? Maybe meet other wolves?" He swished his tail.
She laughed. "I have little choice don't I?" He nodded and licked her muzzle and was already on his way to the Song Fest. Skyling followed him.

Tsume was about to answer Myth when he heard someone else answer the question for him. He gazed around and saw two more wolves gathering around the small group of his pack. He had lost track of how many wolves entered his pack after the large group of pups came in with Raven. He nodded his head and looked at Elric curiously. "Correct. We are heading out in a few moments. Please try to keep up. If you don't then you will have to hurry to catch up." He nodded his head and looked at Hiei as the other male nuzzled Raven't neck. He knew this wolf had something going on with Raven, but he didn't know what.
Raven noticed Tsume eyeing Hiei and she gently nudged him. The alpha gazed at his adopted daughter with a look that said 'what? i was doing nothing wrong.' Raven sighed and shook her head slightly. "I hope that's the rest of the wolves that want to join," she muttered under her breath, happy that Hiei was able to come with her.
Sighing, Tsume gazed at the pack members for a few seconds before slowly standing to his feet. "We leave now," he said in a commanding voice. A moment later, he turned around and started to head towards the edge of the packlands at a steady trot. Shikon was the first to follow his father, keeping a foot gap between himself and his father. Like his father, he kept his tail held up high, reminding the other wolves who would take command if his father would fall on the journey to the Valley. Raven hung back to wait for Hiei to move forward to follow her adopted father. Zelda looked at the other wolves nervously before following Shikon and Tsume, keeping her distance to at least a five foot gap between herself and the two male wolves.
Arisella finally found the pack meeting place and was surprised to see several other wolves already there. Canting her head to one side, she tucked her tail between her hindlegs, lowered her head down slightly, and slowly approached the other wolves, a little timid about meeting them for the first time.
Not wanting to wait for his mother any longer, Dakawa wandered away from the den, hoping to find the alpha wolves so that he could join them to wherever the howl came from. After wandering around the packlands for what seemed like hours, he came across several wolves in his mother's pack. Canting his head to one side, he saw that they were about to leave and he ran to catch up to them.

Elric's broody gaze settled to his alpha's, showing off the thoughts that glittered there. He recongized the curiousty there and only grinned in response before bowing and following his alpha's lead in trotting. His white fur rippled over his muscles as he moved, keeping pace.
Phoenix slowed down a little so their member could catch up. "Welcome.." She said. The pup smelled familiar so she didn't hesitate to accept. If her judgement was ill she'd fix it if she could.

(Sorry guys, I don't have the time to throw in anymore of my wolves. Just Hiei for this event. )
The cream faced wolf jerked his head in a nod then followed Tsume. "Yes, the less wolves we have, the less we will be slowed down." He glanced back at her with rather warm eyes. "Stick close to me. I don't want any other strange males around you."
Something in his mind clicked that he wanted to be the only male near her besides the pack. It was an odd feeling. He wanted to protect her and should anyone he didn't like come to close... well he had a good set of jaws on him. He was even wondering if he had to talk to Tsume about these 'feelings' for the female.
