K. Well my budget is $350. My plan is pretty much to buy an Orange crush 35watt bass amp (~$200-$250), and then with the $150-$100 left over buy either a fuzz, or multi-effects (including a fuzz effect, of course) pedal.
I'd like opinions on the amp, whether it's worth getting for a first bass amp (Been playing a whole year and I couldn't afford an amp until now. crying I was using a crappy guitar one at first.), and whether it's worth the cost, or if there's a better amp for the same price range for a rock/stoner rock/doom metal/stoner metal/etc. player.
I'd also like suggestions for pedals within my price range to buy.
Thanks in advance. heart

Ditto...And stay away from Crate bass amps...I got one and it works. But its the lowest level of acceptance. I would stay away from them.

I stuck with my choice for that Orange because I only need a practice amp at the moment. I'm still debating what to spend the leftover $100 on.

id buy a Carvin PB100. you dont need effects. bass effects are fun but id use all of the money for and amplifyer and a Carvin amp is the best way to go because they use tuned cabinets.
