Appearance is an important thing, since it is how your character looks. While a good description is good, a good pic to go with it is even better. So I was wondering, how do you guys find your pictures?

I draw them, if I don't draw them, I look up something on google. I have also been known to make a gaian model based after my character by going to http://www.tektek.org. Go to the dream avitar and look at what you can make. Look at my profile for a few examples, but then, if you are willing, you can make your avi look like your rp character.

Yeah... about that... my drawing sucks. sweatdrop Anyway, the main problem on Google is that usually I have no clue what to enter. One time, I got in trouble because I had been looking for pics on google, and it saved what I had put in, and my dad clicked it to see what I had been looking at, and apparently there had been some inappropriate content on the 'web' section when I had been looking at the pictures. xd

Yeah I was looking for pics once and I found pictures of innapropriate male organ-pictures. sweatdrop I avoid image-search now. gonk

Same same. I had the same exact thing happen to me, on my Dad's computer as well. It has never happened on my own computer, well at least not it saving what I viewed. I set the search censor to the highest setting, then it censors out almost all of the junk, but a few of the good pictures as well.
What people place on the Internet, scary!

Photobucket usually doesn't have any of that. If it does, it usually gets blocked after a few days...er... whenever someone reports it..

Brown hair in a ponytail, green eyes, and lots 'o camo.

You have a digital Camera? Take a snap shot of a picture. It might not have the best quality, but it will at least get your picture in a digital format, and able to get into a post then.

You don't know how hard it is for an anthro-fanatic to find pictures for his role-playing characters...O.o...
I swear, type in a name of the race you're looking for: first you see oekaki and yiffy, then you see pictures of people's oddly named pets, THEN you get what you're looking for...O.O

I swear, type in a name of the race you're looking for: first you see oekaki and yiffy, then you see pictures of people's oddly named pets, THEN you get what you're looking for...O.O yup that's happened lotsa times... though I'm usually lookin's pics up for my friends... rofl

The funny thing about the iimage search is that I never saw any of the inappropriate stuff! It just happened to be under either web or images. I can't remember which, but it was the opposite one.

I can't remember which, but it was the opposite one. ........Type the words: Chakat, Anthro Wolf, Anthro Fox, and Foxtaur in the Yahoo! image search engine...
