Amaterasu was feeling warn down on this dreary day. She turned her silver eyes skyward only to see a dreary grey day looming towards her. She sighed, tired of this loneliness that she had endured since she split from her family. She wondered when exactly the sky would open up and pour on her, she could tell it was just waiting to happen from the ominous skys above. She looked across the horizon to see a sight she was used to. Prey animals far off, but no other creature to keep her company. She'd been wandering about in this state for moons, but the emptiness still shocked her. The more she thought of it, the more anger grew in her. "I'M SICK OF BEING ALONE!!!" she finally howled in frustration to the sky, to the gods, to anything that could hear her. She panted a bit, then asked, "Why do you plague me?" Her voice was submissively quiet, calmed down from her venting. It was uncharacteristic of her to throw such a tantrum, and she was ashamed of herself. Her mother would have been angry at her for having been so immature. She scolded herself in her head until she felt a raindrop hit her nose. "Great." she said sarcastically, as she skulked off to the nearest acacia tree before the rain came too hard.

"Ugh..." The female maned wolf walked slowly across the ground, her beautiful pelt covered in a thick layer of dust. Running her tongue across her dry fur she frowned. Her posh voice rang out across the savannah. "I cannot take this torment!" She willed it to rain lightly, or to find a shallow body of water to wash away the impurities of her violet pelt.
Her ears perked as she heard someone obviouslly equally frustrated. Nearing the source of the howling she drew back a little. "What a dreadful sound." She took no real time to notice what was being said, or rather screeched to the skys.
Ahah. It seemed the gods liked her today. She felt the rain wet her pelt and nose, running down her limbs as she stood still for a second. Zambarau noticed a sudden flash of white, it must have been that other creature, she concluded. Suddenly the rain fell hard and Zamba screamed suddenly. "My beautiful pelt!"
It was by pure coincidence that she chose the same shelter as Amaterasu.

Amaterasu was still upset with herself, and fairly surprised at her conduct. She quickly resolved to get beyond it and go on with her life, at least it provided some comfort to her to forget about it. She laid down, happy to have taken to a comfortable position.
She jumped slightly at the sudden appearance of the purple wolf, who was soaked to the bone, seemingly moreso than Amaterasu was. "Hello." Amaterasu said quietly to the other wolf. "I'm Amaterasu, you can call me Ammy for short," she introduced herself. She could only hope this wolf didn't hear her shout. Part of the reason she even let herself shout was because she had been alone, or so she had believed. If she had known someone was within hearing range, she wouldn't have done it. She grudgingly accepted the truth that, odds were, the female had heard her, and wouldn't talk about it unless the purple wolf brought it up.
