Kathreftis: Find Yourself The New Year has since gone by and the months are passing normally. Another three hundred and sixty five days have finished and the world has lit up another number to the skies. 2010.
With it, a sort of craze is taking over the gaming world. A nearly anonymus person has released the Embasma and it is becoming the hottest new thing on the market. This technologically advanced game is flying off of the shelves: no information hitting the newstands until it sunk in.
Now they can hardly send e-mails begging for more fast enough.
The only thing standing between the rest of humanity and the Embasma is the price and the fact that they aren't being supplied at a quick enough rate.
Reviews for the game have sky rocketed, along with the rumors concerning the game itself. Gossip tells that the gaming system was created and produced by an anonymos technologist and come from somewhere in Australia, already pre-packaged and ready for the shelves.
Why the shipments rates are so slow and where this game has come from is a mystery that no one seems to be unraveling. The only name that anyone has been able to track down in correspondance to the creator is Entoli. And even that people aren't ready to believe.
And yet somehow a series of these remarkable games are being sent randomly to teenagers across the globe, from Entoli directly to their front door.

The System The Embasma is a sleek black console, perhaps three inches thick and half a foot wide, a mere one inch tall. From the center is a small touch pad that allows you to enter the Embasma and drop in the small chip, the new version of CDs that the system uses to read and play games.
The system itself only supports one game- the only one on the market technologically advanced enough to keep up with the gaming system. A pair of wireless gloves as well as a helmet are used to play the game. No television is reqired with this game, easily set up in nearly any environment in which it can connect to an electrical outlet.
The interior visor of the helmet is its own screen and wraps around the front of your head- replacing whatever you have surrounding yourself. The helmet allows you to see the game as never before and the gloves are how you control your character. The Game The Role Playing game usable on the Embasma is called Kathreftis: distinct and unique. It has already been nick named 'Kathre' by gamers across the globe and is easily recognized by either name.
The world is impecable and perfect as well as the functions necessary in the game. The Kathre has its own server that is alledgedly instantaneous as well as crash resistant.
Although a person is easily able to slip into this game, it doesn't seem to allow them to slip away from themselves. The name is selected by the user but the physical appearance is created by Entoli himself based off of the answers in an interview of sorts, apparently based off of your actual persona.

The Users:You will be role playing the select few who have recieved the Embasma and its elite Kathre. These character will be human and they will be realistic. If you have purple hair, you must dye your hair in order for it to get that way. Certain things may be tweaked because of the small time change between the present and 2010, but be realistic. broken_91 Name: Pandora [Dora] Archer
Age: 19
Personality: Pandora, more often known as Dora, is loud mouthed, boisterous, and the personification of the word prankster. Always looking for a good joke and scheming for one reason or another, Dora is a huge ball of constant energy. She is usually running around from one activity to another, often barely making it there on time because of her habit of loosing track of time.
Description: She has strawberry blonde hair that hangs down a little past her shoulders and a pair of bright blue eyes, usually bright with some scheme or another. She stands less than five feet tall and identifies herself as such although she has never given out her true height. Dora usually wears a pair of jeans that go down far enough to cover her shoe laces but bare the tips of her sneakers. One bright screened tee or another with statements scrawled across the front of them and sometimes a baseball hat on her head complete her ensemble.
Biography: Dora's parents are both archeologists, specializing in Greece. Because of this, they named her Pandora and since then she has tried to shirk the name. She is the older sister to twin boys, seven years older than them. She was raised in Greece and knows both English as well as Greek, moving to England not too soon before her younger brothers were born. Now her parents work at the Museum. Although her parents do go on trips every now and again, Dora simply watches her little siblings, her twin 'monsters' as she calls them.

Height: Five feet, four inches
Weight: One hundred and twelve pounds
Appearance: Your hair is in fact the same strawberry-blonde color as it is now but your eye color has changed to a vivid green. Facial structure has remained the same as well as your torso. A nearly undetectable layer of strawberry-blonde hair actually covers your entire body and thickens around your hands, tail, and feet. Your hands still have all five movable digits but now they are covered in fur and end in retractable claws. The tail bone has been lengthened and is now a full length tail ending in a small tuft of hair much like a lioness. Instead of feet you know have a pair of strong paws with thick pads the same color as your skin tone. Your teeth have been strengthened as well and instead of flat molars these have been replaced for canine teeth.
Small Egyptian hieroglyphic symbols for Sehkmet have been tattooed under each of your eyes as well as on the black of both of your wrists and small studs line the cartilage of your ear.
Powers: As a hybrid, the majority of your powers are made stronger by the reflection of moonlight. Whatever way you choose, be it swimming in water by the light of the moon or simply sleeping near a pool of water, the only way to increase your magic ability is to be near a reflection. You need an average of four hours of sleep per day and may only go without sleep for a period of 36 hours. Under stricter conditions your adrenaline may be used as endurance, but most times it will not.
You are unable to lie to a direct question. You must answer truthfully or your stats will decrease. In addition, if speaking to someone you haven’t met before; you must speak in riddles until they have solved one.
The powers themselves are restricted to those of your appearance. You have the ability to morph into two separate entities for a short amount of time although one is only a projection of your mind. Your tail and legs can be used comparable to a feral animal. Able to climb and run exceptionally quickly but your hearing is equal to that of a human. Your sight fluctuates depending on the light variant but you can see better in darker areas, complimenting your need for moonlight.
Specialty: Because of your role as the Egyptian goddess of war and danger, you tend to put up a difficult fight but you rely on your wit and agility more than sheer strength. Claws and sharp teeth are your only hand-to-hand defenses besides a think layer of skin. Despite it being thick it still has limits: if you are stabbed by a knife, expect to draw blood.

Other Characters to Watch Out For:Julia This pixie is your guide through the game, created soley for this position as well as to convey missons from Entoli to the users of the game.
This small, six inch tall, being does nearly everything speedily and often gets bored waiting around for answers and for others to understand what she is telling them. Sarcastic and sassy, she is quite mercurial in her moods. She also has a bad habit of becoming angered when confused with faeries and sprites. She is a pixie and is nothing like either of those other species.
She has a pair of ragged blue wings that emerge from her shoulder bones and florescent gold colored eyes. Her fingers are exceptionally long and instead of ending in fingertips, they continue to a small curl at the end. Her feet are the same way except she doesn't have toes, only one long point at the end of her foot. Julia wears a tight, shimery green dress, pixie made and woven with dandelion strands and spider webs.
This pixie also talks especially fast, her words slurring together sometimes in human ears because they aren't able to keep up with the rate. But don't ask her to speak slower, most often she'll just ignore you and maybe repeat herself. Entoli This creator is mysterious with a capital m. Nearly nothing is known about him nor where he loves or comes from. Watch out for what he does and says...

Frequently Asked Questions: How on Earth does the Profile bit work?
Alright guys, this is how its gonna go down. You are going to fill out your User profile and send it to me [see below]. After this I will post it and then I will let you post your introduction [see below]. After this is done, I can send you the set of questions that Entoli gives you and you reply to them in the mindset of your User. Once this has been returned to me, I will create a physical apperance for you in Kathre, known as your Character [see below].
What is a User?
This is the real life character that you will be playing, not the one in the game. That is your Character. Profile Name:

Note: I'm going to ask for you to keep these pretty short. If you need a reference, please view the one I put up. As I stated before, YOU MUST BE HUMAN AND REALISTIC. If you want purple hair, you must dye it in order for it to be purple. And I don't actually know anyone with purple eyes either...
Your Character is the physical appearance of the player you will be Rping in Kathre. Entoli has created this for you after reviewing and interpreting your answers.
What should I have in my Introduction?
Your introduction is the only post that I will dictate how you should write. In this post I want you to warm up to your User and write how the Embasma was recieved. Whether you were home or not. How you feel about it. Be creative.
How are you going to control the Kathre itself?
Embesma was equipped with a server of its own that is not connected to the internet. With this comes a direct account that allows one to sent a type of e-mail from your Embasma to the central computer that Entoli can reply to you from. These e-mails can ONLY be sent from Entoli to a single User or in reverse but not to other Users.
This system of e-mails will be used to update you on special events or an increase in stats.
How do we differentiate between all of your characters?
Eheh. I'll make sure to keep Entoli in a simple small bold, Julia in a small green bold, Dora in a simple small font. All of the different messages including stats and items and the like will be directed towards each Character.
What ARE the stats?
At this point, I'm still working out how much everything will be worth depending on attacks and defense and possible magic use, so that will be posted soon. Sorry about that, folks.
This seems a little like god-moding..
I KNOW IT SEEMS LIKE THAT. But in actuality I won't have a lot of that at all. Entoli will drop hints and certain scenes may be triggered, for this is in fact going to be played as a video game, but for the most part, no. If anyone thinks that I'm doing too much, please please please tell me.
