Roger Silverwood had laid low the past few weeks. He felt that people were catching on to him, and stopped his nightly prowls, hoping to throw the pack off the scent.
It had been long enough, though, and he was ready to continue his reign of terror. He was itching for another body to die by the hand of "sweet, innocent, can't do anything wrong" Roger Silverwood. "Aaah, there is my target now" he thought, as he saw a shadowed figure walking up the path in front of him. "Right on schedule."
His target stopped walking, and stood on the dirt path, shaking slightly from either fear, or the cold. Roger took a chain out from under his cloak, and started to tip-toe up to his unsuspecting kill. "WE CAUGHT YOU RED-HANDED!" a voice cried from the bushes, and suddenly Roger was surrounded by a mob of angry villagers, pitchforks in hand. His target turned around with a smile "What, did you think we were stupid?".
Roger fell down, pushed over by the hands of the angry crowd. Feeling angry limbs beat down on him, he knew he had been beaten, and silently succumbed to the torture.
The next day, the villagers dumped Roger's bloody body into a deep hole on the outskirts of town.
"One down, one to go." a man said.
"One less person to be pushed inside the walls of the Spire of Suspicion, anyway" a woman replied.
Satisfied, the crowd went back to their daily lives, forgetting about Roger Silverwood, as if he had never existed in the first place.

"I want candy." A Dragonflys Sin thought to herself, as she roamed the streets of the city. "I'm young... cute... persuasive... I should be able to find SOMEONE here to buy me candy!"
She headed off to the marketplace, determined to find someone to give her something sweet to eat.
"Will you give me candy?" she asked an old man.
"No, child, go away and stop being a pester." he replied.
She ran up to a woman. "Will YOU give me candy?"
"Go back to your Mommy, little girl, you don't want candy from strangers." the girl told her.
"I WANT CANDY!!!!!!" she screamed in the middle of the market, drawing a few incredulous looks her way-- and a snort, from someone lingering in an alleyway.
Sin ran up to the person in the alley. "Will you buy me candy?" she said, her eyes watering, and her lips in the perfect "I get what I want all the time" pout.
Will a roll of the eyes, the person ignored Sin, turned around, and started down the alleyway.
"NO! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Sin yelled, following the person. "I WANT
CANDY! The person turned around, pulled out a gun, and shot Sin square between the eyes. Giving the corpse a look of utter disgust, her killer turned away and left Sin to rot in the alley.
