Nai flew through the air, her eyes closed, simply wondering here and there, trying now to avoid all those that she knew, still with no true destination in mind. she just wanted to get away from it all.
She slowly opened her eyes and saw the market below her. she sighed softly and reached around to rub the base of her aching wing. this was not the place to stop and rest, but after a few moments she decided she might need a few things before she left perminantly. she swoops in and lands on a rooftop, her wings folding up behind her. she walks to the edge and sits down, reaching behind her to rub her wings. after a few moments she spots some of the places she used to go and looks down, away from them, a few more tears flowing down her face

*Resiak rises out of the shadows of a nearby shop with his arms folded across his chest. He walks foward, looking around for the point with the highest concentration of the overwhelming emotion. He comes around a corner and sees Nai. He ponders for a moment before his iris changes from a red to pink color. He sees a very dark purple aura swirling around Nai as she sits on the roof's edge. He chuckles as his eyes return to it's natural crimson hue and he walks over to her*
Well well what do we have here?

hearing his voice she quickly looks up and sees him. her eyes go wide and she reaches into her pocket to pull out a small charm.
mea virga
the charm quickly grew into her staff and she stands up in a defensive stance. she knew that he would probibly still be testy about her trying to capture him before

*He looks her over with a smirk then looks around the market place, trying to sense out Lamia. When he doesn't detect her, he faces her and waves is hand dismissively*
Now now don't be getting jumpy. What are you doing here? I suspect your keeper, Lamia, is close by.

nai eases up a little bit, but not much, still having a firm grip on her staff
"....i come here all the time..."
the moment he mentions lamia she tenses up and shakes her head
"she's NOT my keeper and she's nowhere near here, not if i have anything to do about it"
she rubs her eyes, trying to brush away any lingering tears

her vision started to blur as she looked down slightly. she already knew she was worthless, but hearing it just made it worse

That's a fine choice of action but how long will you stay away? Your sadness will turn to hate and you will return to punish Lamia for what she did to you. In the mean time you're just going to be weak and run. Run and hide.
