this is good, because while i like running around town catching bugs and picking flowers it did cut into your gold earning, and now you don't lose out so much 3nodding

Poppetta this is good, because while i like running around town catching bugs and picking flowers it did cut into your gold earning, and now you don't lose out so much 3nodding yep...same here...and i think it is cool that it is endless collecting before you have to save...having the backpack there is cool...i always hated having to run to the center of wherever i was just to unload 10 items....yay for the new towns xd

I LOVE the shaking! I think it's my favorite part of the new towns, and wil DEFFINITELY be spending more time there. Too bad my computer crashed over the weekend and I coulnd't get on (not to mention the fact that I was out all weekend!)

Haven't tried it yet, but this is one more reason why I think the creators of Gaia play Animal Crossing, because it also has fishing (occasionally picking up the old can or boot), the bug catching with a net, and the 'towns' are kind of similar in layout, scrolling over from one screen to the next. In Animal Crossing you can also shake trees to get the fruit down, and sometimes a piece of furniture will drop from the shaken tree, or one that has a beehive in it will get you stung (unless you're quick enough to catch the bees with your net, which I haven't managed yet!) Oh! And in Animal Crossing you can also hit rocks with your shovel, and sometimes you'll find one that gives you bells (same as gold.)
And I think Neo had to jump on the same bandwagon with their fishing.

I've noticed you receive gold for almost every bush, rock, and tree when you start out, but after a while of doing it, most trees are empty and it's rare to find one with gold in it. I'm thinking it's the same as bug-catching, fishing, and slots, where you have good luck at first, but the more you do it for one day, the more your luck drops. Makes it more fair for people who aren't on all the time. Oh, that reminds me, I should fish 2 times for today! mrgreen

Quote: i love to shakey the trees, rocks, and shrubs! at the top click on world...then click towns...towns is like a place to put your home, and is like a little instant messenger...just recently they made it to where you can shake a rock, shrub or tree and possibly recieve gold...lol...its cool 3nodding xd
