Craig Charles (a.k.a Lister, Cat God, the last living human(that is until Krisy)) has been reported to have been seen doing drugs in the back of a taxi, so far no evidece has been put forward. I don't belive these allegations agenst him do you?

Even if it's true, it's hardly a new development. Didn't he admit to crack use in his rape trial? Besides, actors are famous for doing all the things other people do, only they usually get caught. It doesn't affect my opinion of him much, other than think, if it's true, that it was rather stupid. I read he took sixty hits in total. I mean, it's a wonder the man's still alive.

I haven't heard anything about it actually, since I am all the way over here in America and we don't get much juicy gossip. I am saddened by this news, since it will delay the movie, if there even is to be a movie. sad

Sad that we Dwarfers her in the US don't get much intresting British news like that over here. And if he did do it. It would certainly be stupid of him to do it. He should have done it in the privicy of his own home for crying out loud.

Aragosnat Sad that we Dwarfers her in the US don't get much intresting British news like that over here. And if he did do it. It would certainly be stupid of him to do it. He should have done it in the privicy of his own home for crying out loud. Except that he's supposedly married with three kids. You'd prefer he do it where his kids can see him freaking out on the drugs? If he's gotta do it I'm glad he at least didn't do that.

Well it was either he do it where he could easily be found, or do it in front of his kids, wasn't it? There isn't really any particularly good option for him.
Since I'm also American, I don't get much gossip either. But whether he did it or not, it doesn't influence my opinion of RD or anything... I couldn't possibly count how many musicians I like that have died of drug use, or currently use them, but that doesn't affect my love of their work. I just might not respect them as much as a person... In this case however, since I don't really know anything about it, I can't say for sure...

He's been sacked from Corrie because of it
I think it is true, as he was using crack during the rape trial

This is the first I've heard of it. I guess anyone can get pulled into the celebrity lifestyle. I'm disappointed, but I still love RD and Craig Charles. Just wouldn't have him take my kids for a ride in a taxi... biggrin
Since we don't the gossip here, can anyone tell me what Craig Charles has to say about the charges, if anything?

everyone does it, kate moss got an advertising campaign on the back of her addiction. its just a shame its craig after the rape stuff before. but also cracks so dirty, it has such seedy overtones itll be hard for him to come back from that.
and if hes actually addicted to it, that could signal a downward depression. i mean, if your famous, that s**t would really affect you. and so you get high.
I feel bad for him. I hope hes got good friends around him to help him through it, it would be horrible to go through that alone. not that any individuals are really that bothered anyway, its just the media, but thats where he is.
and the guys a genius!
