These are responses in the Emo Guild on why some of their members think that people hate Emos.
Topic:Why do people hate Emo?
Responses:

Me: Different? Following the same trend and dressing/acting exactly the same is different? This doesn't register in my mind clearly.

Me: I like this one, it's more thought out. She's kinda right about the different types of Emo, but both of them suck in my opinion. The first one for obvious reasons, and the second one, the music is like a thousand jackhammers in my head and the style is just retarded. Who wants to see the 'originality' of a thousand clones wearing tight clothing and over-done eyeliner with nerdy glasses walking around school? (Or anywhere!)

Me: This one had me roaring. I don't bottle up my feelings.(At least not anymore.) I tell my feelings to people who CARE, like my closest friends that understand me. I'm not afraid to express my emotions about certain things,(hence this guild) and I will NOT spill out my problems to people who don't care about them. It doesn't make sense to promote your problems to people you don't know, and then claim that they don't 'understand' you.

They like to think that they are 'emo' because Hot Topic is cheaper then Abercrombie. Our little emo friends are poor so they cant go buy their polo shirts anymore

they're all the same, and even though emo girls say they hate preps, a lot sure do dress like them. they look like preps from the neck down! and they need to stop complaining about everything! i can understand if someone important to them died or something like that, but they whine about breakups and most relationships when you're young don't last that long anyways!

i hate emos because of that, they think they are goths but NO they are just a bad, cheap imitation of goth.
But anyways thats why i love this guild =)
