One thing in forums, especially in GD that really annoys me is when everybody says the same thing. One person will post a reply to the thread and 5 other people will agree with that post and repeat it. If you agree with the post, that's great, but there's really no need to make a post about it. It's obvious these people just want the gold for posting. Does anyone else encounter this often? If so do they find it as annoying as I am? Am I just overreacting?

I generally don't quote if I'm responding to the person who posted directly above me. If, on the other hand, the post I'm responding to is somewhere else on the page, or on another page, then I do.

I never go into the GD period. Too many better than thou elitists there. But if I agree, I agree but then put my own opinion. Like I'll say 'Agreed and...dadidadida' or whatever.

I go in there quite a bit. The only thing is people will post irrelevant in order to get gold or else they post the same thing that the last 5 people said just for the gold.

When I agree with people, and even if I quote their post, I always try to explain why I agree and to bring up another point of interest about what we're trying to talk about. That way we can continue talking about the subject without sounding too repetitive.

A lot of people also quote previous posts without saying anything, sort of like my next post.

I agree, what is even more annoying though is when someone agrees with another they quote there post and don't type anything! You end up getting a post with 5 or 6 empty boxes around it! People are getting so lazy they can't even write their own post!!
