Which is bad news in itself. I'm a self-described clutz, I couldn't camp my way out of a paper bag, and yet somehow I decided it would be a good idea to go camping.
5 minutes into the trip I fall, bash my knee on some rocks, and nearly end up in the freezing cold water. Yay!
So now I have a tensor bandage on my knee, along with a pack of frozen soy beans.
On the bright side, I got to spend the weekend with some really cool people, and I am now somebody's girlfriend. 4laugh
Yay May 2-4!

Boo to hurting your knee, but yay to being someone's girlfriend!! Congrats on that, LP! I know the feeling of finding a significant other in random places... me and Burger met at work (telemarketing whatever for our school) and less than a week later we were (and still are heart ) going out or keeping company or whatever...
oh, and I don't like camping much either, so I give you a ton of credit for going in the first place! yay!

I was surprised at how much fun I had, considering the weather and whatnot.
I've been "dating" this guy for a little while (a.k.a. a few months), we just made it official on the 20th. whee

I don't like camping but I like doing things outdoors like canoeing, hiking, biking, swimming... pretty much anything!

I haven't been camping in a long time. I used to go with my cousins to a beach to go camping. It was kinda fun except for the fact that there were no trees and we'd always go in june or july and get horribly burnt.
Congratulations LP. I'm happy for you. It's good to see you around again.

I'm just a bit curious... what does chocolate milk have to do with camping? Unless you had a refrigerator at your campsite (which is highly unlikely), the milk you brought with you would go rotten very quickly...

It's good to move out of one's comfort zone, sorry to hear about the knee though! When I go camping my tent must be at least 10 stories up, water views, queen bed, mini bar, and a little man in a red suit to bring me food xd
