"Lundy... Wake up..."
It was day three of their long get away from their parents and all other familiar eyes. The two SMO's that have had an attraction stronger then words since infanthood. The best friends turned more had found a little place very far away from their little community in which they had grown up in. The people here had very different accents and they didn't think or look twice at them, a nice change from their gawking parents.
Another pleasantry (for Rome at least), they had was their hotel, which was easily a centry old if it was a day, played music constantly. It wasn't just one types of music, but all types of music. Like a radio, with no V.J..
The room they were staying in was a nice mix of old country and newage. Last night they had stayed up late but there was just something bothering Rome. But Lundy seemed peaceful, so he let it lie and went back to sleep holding his boyfriend.

-He heard a faint voice, and awoke from his odd dreams. With a grumble, he cracked up his eyes and looked grogilly at Rome.- "Ugh..So like him, wakign me up then going back to sleep.." -He thought to himself with a small chuckle. He carfully got up and stretched. while doing so, he admired the room. It was a place that Rome had picked out, and he loved it. Silently, he snuck into the bathroom to take a shower, hoping not the wake Rome.-

When Rome did wake up, he immediatly noticed the absence of another heartbeat in the bed. But the smell was still there, and that alone brought a smile to his face. He slowly started stretching and looking around, adjusting to the light. "Ducky?"

-Hearing the sound of Rome's masculine voice, He opened the bathroom door and spied out, a small, confussed smile on his mouth.- "Yesss?" -He only leaned out half-way through the doorway, a towel wrapped about his lower end.- "So, you've finally woken up, Eh? Well, good, I think we should go out for breakfast..Brunch by now..." -He let out a little chuckle, then blew Rome a kiss before vanishing back into the bathroom.-

Lundy was so coy in his own cute little way. When Rome really thought about, sure he'd liked others, but his Ducky was just that, his. When Lundy suggested that they go out to eat, he knew he really didn't have a choice in the matter. With a groan he rolled out of bed and walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it.
"Love, let me in.. I need to shower too..."

-From inside the bathroom a knock was heard. With a cheerful sigh, Lundy put down his brush and cracked open the door.- "Yesss? A shower you say, hun? Welll, I s'posse, but you'll have to give em a kiss first!' -Lundy laughed, half of his face showing through the cracked open door.- "Well???"

Rome laughed and groaned as if kissed the painstakingly cute SMO was as aweful of a task as taking lemon medicine. Leaning in he gave the other a kiss and smirked afterwards. "Ew.." A playful wink showed Lundy that he was completly kidding and pushed on the door to get in.

-Lundy laughed, then leaned in to kiss Rome in return. He battered his eyelashes slightly, returnign buterfly kisses.- "Hmmm, I geuss that'll do.." -He smiled and moved out of the way, letting Rome in. He glanced about, then closed the door.- "It's cold out there, without the steam." -He smiled, watching rome in the mirror as he continued to brush his fur.-

Rome was not about to make it a secret that he admired Lundy. For a second he just sat there and stared, not really thinking, just looking. A dramatic drum solo in the background music brought him back to reality and jumpstarted him into getting the shower ready. He turned on the hot water and waited until the pipes warmed up enough for him to get into the shower as he sat on the cold floor.
"So... Breakfast?"

-Lundy continued brushing his fur, watching Rome intently in the morror.- "Hun..Is there soemthign in my fu-- Hmmmm...it must be afternoon alreadt. Forget breakfast, we'll go down into the square and have lunch, sound good?- "He turned to look at Rome, a smile coming to his face.-

Rome's eyes were forced back up to Lundy's when the slender SMO turned to face him, a smile already spread goofily across his face. "Huh? What? " He wasn't listening at all. But after some thought he nodded and cleared his throat. "Oh.. Yeah, a nice large lunch sounds good, Ducky..." Rome jumped into the shower before lunch became diner..

-Lundy just chuckled and turned away as Rome leaped into the shower. He finished brushing his fur and now sat on the Hotel bed, sifting through brouschures, plotting out the best place to go and eat. He looked up from his pappers and called out.- "Hun, how about the 'Mambo Motropolise'? It's right in the middle of the music square."

Rome cleaned himself at a reasonably fast pace set by one of the songs that was playing over the speaker in every room. Hearing Lundy, barley he cleared his throat and shrugged.
"Yeah, Ducky.. That sounds fine. Didn't we eat there the first day we got here? I think I really liked their rice bowls.."
After a couple minutes, the soaking SMO jumped out of the shower, turned off the water and started drying himself off, not bothering to close the door. Which was another luxery he had with having no one else there accept for the two of them.

-As the time passed, the two SMOs made their way out of the hotel sweet and down to the resturaunt. Lundy had ordered a small salad and an ice tea. He sat, legs crossed, smilling at Rome.- "Are you enjoying your meal, sweet heart?"
-He let out a low giggle, then turned his head slightly, tryign to hear a faint wailign through the music.-

With a little cringe at being called 'sweetheart', Rome stuck his tongue out and Lundy through bites of his exotic tasting sandwhich. He looped his tail around Lundy's ancle and nodded.
"Yeah, I am. How bout you and your rabbit food, fattie?" With a playful wink he took another bite of his sandwhich. As he chewed he leaned back and admired their surroundings.
