So, looking for a new desktop, or have a picture that'd be PERFECT if the background was something other then white? Let Maru and her obsession over painting in Photoshop help you! biggrin There's just... something about making backgrounds that's fun. >> However, Maru's still learning so please bear with her~ x3 So far, there's only one sample as to her talents, which was an attempt to get a distinct, FLASH-like style. Have an idea for banners... but lack the art program or patience to experiment and poke around until you get it? Let Maru make it for you! heart There are three levels of Maru's work - click on each link to view the thread in which these banners are used. Prices reflect the base, plus text "changes" per banner. (ie, includes "Welcome" post, "Table of Contents," etc.) Level 1: SimpleIt's just an item with text on it, basically. These things take me about 1-2 hours to do (depending on if I'm multi-tasking or not), and are the cheapest. Price Estimate: 500g - 1kLevel 2: MediumThese particular banners have two sections - one with the name of the thread, and another "sub-heading" which denotes what the post is. The sample will bring you back to this thread. =3 They aren't too complex, but a step above simple. This one has taken me longer than usual, but that's only because I tried to experiment and failed, then had to go back to my original plan. xd Otherwise, these'll take me 2-4 hours depending on if I'm multitasking or not. Price Estimate: 1.5k - 3kLevel 3: ComplexThese banners are my pride and joy. While they're big, they also have the Table of Contents in them. Along with that, as each post changes the banners change as well - depending on what post you're at, the highlighted part of the PDA also changes. Also note the time on the minibar -- it changes to reflect the post-time. These took me 4-6+ hours -- possibly 8, since I was working on it all day. Price Estimate: 5 - 10kOMG THE PRICES ARE SO HIGH!These are just estimates. I encourage you to haggle with me! All of your banners are... metal-y.I've been in a metal-y mood lately. o_o; I can do others too! How many banners do you offer?Depends on how many you want. What fonts do you offer?I encourage you to first come up with an idea for me to make. Along with that idea, pick out some sort of font. I pick out my fonts based on what kind of a banner I'm making. For Tseng's journal, I wanted something with an Eastern touch. For my quest journal, I wanted something bold that could be engraved. For my shop... I just picked my favorite font along with a "fancy" one called "Beyond Wonderland." I encourage you to look at acidfonts.com to get an idea of what to get. =3 Also, if you have a messenger program, I would love it if we could exchange SNs while I'm working on your banners. Let's be blunt: Maru gets bored often and has these little "art fits" where she doodles. Why not use this to your advantage and comission her? What you can get:1) Sketch - something done in a couple seconds to several minutes in Open Canvas. Pretty messy. Estimated Price: 100 - 300g
Number You Can Get Per Slot: 52) Cleaned Sketch - Same as above, except cleaned up - looks a LOT nicer than a normal sketch. Estimated Price: 250 - 500g
Number You Can Get Per Slot: 43) Inked Sketch - Basically, a picture done with crisp black lines. Estimated Price: 1,000 - 1.5k
Number You Can Get Per Slot: 34) Colored Sketch (Mono) - Same as above, except colored with only ONE color. Estimated Price: 2k
Number You Can Get Per Slot: 15) Color Sketch (Full) - Full colors. Not monotoned like the above. Estimated Price: 4k
Number You Can Get Per Slot: 16) Toned Picture - See this. Think of it as being something you see in a manga. =3 Estimated Price: 5k (these take me awhile to do. @@) Note that the higher number you go, the pricer it gets. Another factor is what you want - shoulders up, waist up, full body, or couples pics. Maru can do any of these... Just state what you want in the order form, and what you think you should pay for it. Please keep in mind that the more complex something is, the more pricier it'll get. Samples:Here is my craptastic dA account. =3 Notice! If you have AIM or MSN, I'll give you progress updates when I'm drawing for FREE. You pick a pokemon and your TMK-child, and I'll make a hybrid out of them. I will also do avvies, though I'll need you to stay in your avvie until I'm done with the sketch. You will need to give me reference pictures of the Pokemon you want either your avvie or TMK-child to be hybridized with! Maru will not go picture-hunting. o_o ('cause I'm lazy like that. WHEE!) Poke-Sketches at this time are avalible only as messy and clean sketches. Okay, let's say your TMK-child's birthday is coming up, and you really, really want to get them, say, an MP3 player... But all the ones avalible that you can google up are really ugly to you, and not to your tastes. SO WHY NOT HAVE MARU MAKE YOU ONE? biggrin Prices will vary according to complexity. If it counts, Tseng's PDA took Maru 4-6+ hours. Therefore, expect these to be a bit pricy since Maru makes these from scratch. If I were comissioned to make Tseng's palm pilot, I would charge around 5-8k for it. o.o It's THAT complex since I also had to do some research. =3 ...that's for complex things, however. These items can be anything and everything that you need a graphic for! Plushies, flowers, hats... anything and everything! Prices: It depends on what you want made. The more complex, the higher -- you give me an estimate of what you want to pay, and I'll raise/lower it based on what I think. Random, limited items will also be appearing here when Maru gets inspired to create something. =3 Advanced Pokedexes      Soyawannacatch'em all? Better know what you're catching first! Hi I have a question or six depending on how long this post gets. lol
Your banners can you do pictured backgrounds on them? For an example look at Terra and Vincent's journal. Cause the ones you have as previews don't really show that. ^^
Also you had two slots open. How many does that construe as you can do? I have like three kids I believe that need like eight banners each. I will have to count once I get your answers and make a decision. xd
