Now that you're a part of the guild, we'd like to get to know you a little better! Here's the place to introduce yourself and perhaps type out a little blurb about you, why you like animals, your interests, or anything else you'd like to share. This is here to hopefully eliminate the amount of "I'm new here" threads. Lets' keep it all together!

Here's my two cents:

My name is Summer, I'm 22, attending college, working full time, volunteering for the local zoo, and working as a therapist for an 8-year old, just like Kim. I also regularly participate in D&D games, study groups, and I'm actually pulling off a B average in school with all this extra stuff!

Anyway, my interest in animals is extremely strong, one reason I began this guild in the first place. Here I hope to converse with other animal lovers and share our interest in the more neglected side of nature as of late! Like I mentioned earlier, I volunteer at the zoo, where I am a docent there, which means I've been trained in handling different animals and when I do my volunteering, I bring out an animal into the public view of the zoo and let people touch it (if they are allowed to), and educate them on the species and stuff. There are too many animals I'm trained in to name, but my favorite are the snakes. ^.^ I'm not trained, however, in the larger animals like the cheetah or bears or anything. I value my life, thankyouverymuch. 3nodding

Since I was little I've always loved animals. When I would come across an injured animal, I would always assume the worst, pick it up and bring it home, not really bothering to think about what injured wild animals can do to humans when scared. But I never had a problem then, so I guess they trusted me. Of course, my mom and dad would always discourage my bringing home of wildlife, saying that it will probably die anyway, but I always have to try to give it a shot, I'm determined like that. More often than not, they did die, but at least I gave them a proper burial and became more aware of the tragic way of life and death. Morbid, I know.

Anyway, to shorten this up a bit, I'm majoring in biology so that one day I can work with animals. A rehabilitator for wolves would be my ideal dream job, although many other jobs would suit my fancy as well. Only 6 more credits to go at this college, and I can transfer to a university to further my degree; I'm aiming for a bachelor's, but if all goes well, I might endure the extra two years of school and go for a master's. There goes my determination again. Anyway, I'm done. Thanks for reading all of this! You get a cookie. ^.^

Hello! My name is Laura. Umm..I like aminals and I think they are cute or as ailinea would say, "toot", and I like knowing things about them.

My favorite animal is the leopard, as everyone who knows me..knows. I even won't go into Zoology class cause you have to disect things. I know that I will learn more about animals in that class, but I think it's wrong to disect animals in high school. Oh, by the way, I'm 16. xd sweatdrop

hello my name is kathy i stand up for all animal rights, i love animals big and small there part of nature and if we kill them off then well die and the world will die and if we upset the balance of nature then the earth will slowly die we should never hunt or test on animals or peoplez just because were bigger then them shouldnt give us the right to take a life! sad

i enjoy aminals very much cause well they can't talk back to me, or tell me that i need to work harder, or that i have potential blaugh

hehe further more aminals are amazingly understanding creatures, even if they can't verbally comunicate.

I forgot to mention that I am 17, I'm Tiffany(Arimina),and my favorite color is green.

It is not pink it is green. Everything that I own is green, with the exception of some stuff. My room, sunglasses, purse,car(my mom's, I just use it), my horse stuff, blankets, tooth brush, hair brush, book bag, 1/2 of my clothes, both of my characters are wearing green, etc. So as you can see my favorite color is green. And don't argue back because you know it's true.
