I hope no one minds me creating a new page, but it seems like everyone has one now and I have hardly anything else to do here so I decided to post some of my writings. Especially since they're too long for the contests. If you ever come back, Soul Tear, feel free to delete this page if you don't like it.

I'm going to start by posting some of my most recent and prized work. It's really long, though, so I'll only be able to post about a chapter at a time. Feel free to criticize it. I want everyone's opinions. Unfortunately only two or three will probably ever see this page.

SECRETS: Chapter 1 The Archaeologists "Come on! You know there's nothing to find there!"yelled the archaeologist, Mitchell at his boss. "Still someone has to make sure construction of the new mall can continue, and after the stunt you and Aaron pulled last time you deserve it,"replied the boss. "Well, I'll go get Aaron," Mitchell said smirking as he went towards the door. "Where do you think you're going. You aren't taking Aaron this time. Not after destroying the ancient vase the last time. You'll be lucky if you get another chance with him. I'm reassigning you to another partner. He should be here right about now," the boss said looking at the watch on his wrist. Reluctantly Mitchell sat back down as the door opened and a familiar face walked in. It was his old friend Daniel. "When'd you get into archeology?" asked Mitchell to Daniel. "Oh, you've met," said the boss cringing. "Yeah we went to school together and were best friends," Daniel said. "Hmm, now I don't know if I should reassign you to him or not." "Oh, come on. If I try something like what Aaron and I did he will try to stop me at nearly any cost," Mitchell said smirking at Daniel knowing this was untrue. "Ok fine you can be partners. He's a rookie so don't get him in trouble. Now get to work." They left the office and burst into laughter right after they knew they were out of hearing range. "So what did you two do this time?"Daniel asked. "Oh, I talked him into a little um.... joke on the rest of our crew, and we kinda scared them a little, and one of those idiots ended up crushing an ancient vase we'd uncovered," Mitchell answered. "Same old. Same old huh. Just like school," Daniel said. "Yep. Hey you still haven't answered my question. When'd you get into archeology," questioned Mitchell. "Oh, about six years ago, but the question is when'd you,"answered Daniel. "I got interested when I was looking for a college in the last months of school. I must of forgotten to tell you," answered Mitchell. "So where are we going?"asked Daniel as they got to the truck. "To the site of where the new mall is supposed to be built. We get the stupid job of making sure they can go ahead and build it. There's reports of them digging up a large piece of glass." "Sounds like punishment to me." "Hey I can get rid of you before you even get on a real assignment. I know how." "Yeah break an ancient vase." "You'd get this job anyway. Being a rookie and all. Everyone starts with inspection and works their way up. It's just punishment for me." On arrival they got out of the truck and got the tools out of the back and Mitchell assigned areas to everyone there including him and Daniel. Theirs were together of course. "I'd hope that you find something if I were you. Then you might get past inspection a lot faster,"Mitchell said. "Then why don't you leave me alone and let me dig." "Because I want get back at that klutz who broke the vase." "Aww! Come on Mitchell! Not on my first dig!" "Come on!! I have the perfect scheme that'll get him so mad, and get us on our own dig by ourselves without these klutzs" "Ok what?"asked Daniel reluctantly. "He's already found something surprisingly. If we take it and say we found it he'll be so mad and we'll be one step closer to getting our own dig by ourselves with no one else with us," Mitchell said sneakily. They stood up and sneaked over to a man close to them. "I saw you found something already. What is it?"asked Mitchell. "Just a large piece of steel," answered the man. "Ok we'll be getting back to our squares now," Mitchell said as he picked the steel up without the man knowing. They started back, but before they got back Mitchell suddenly said "This doesn't feel like steel." "Then what is it iron, aluminum?" asked Daniel. "No it doesn't feel like any metal I know of. Get back over to your spot and start digging and take over mine too." "I'm going to help Jack with his. Forget the scheme this'll get us straight to the dig by ourselves if we can figure out what this is from," Mitchell said walking back toward the man's square.

Chapter 2 The Discovery "What do you mean it's not a metal you know of?" The man had asked when Mitchell told him he didn't know what metal it was. He was trying to find out how Jack had found it. He found out it was stuck straight up. Mitchell immediately thought this was bizarre and briefed everyone there on what was so peculiar about it. He then told them to bring any more discoveries to him immediately. After that he got back to his square, and started digging. It took several hours before there was another discovery, but soon a man yelled at Mitchell from a distant square. "Mitchell! We've found something I think you should see. We can't pick it up it seems to be stuck to the ground with some sort of slime." "I'll be right there!" Mitchell yelled back. When he got to the man's square he found a small rubber-like piece of something. It was stuck to the ground with a substance like a high quality glue just like the man had said. The substance was an odd reddish color though. Mitchell started to try to pull it up, but it wouldn't come up no matter how hard he tried. So he told everyone near the square to help pull. It still didn't come up so Mitchell told the man to go help someone else until they could find something to get it up with. He stood up sweating from trying to pull the rubber-like thing up. He whistled to get everyone's attention and said "Take any discoveries to my partner Daniel over there. I'm going to see if I can find something that might get this up," he pointed at the rubbery thing in the man's square. He headed toward the truck, but before he could get in someone suddenly yelled toward him,"Wait! Mitchell this thing's huge. It covers my whole square!" Mitchell was about to start over toward the man when a man next to the one that had just yelled at Mitchell yelled "I've got another part of it! It covers mine too!" Mitchell began running toward them, but before he could get there was a sudden flash of light, and one of the men disappeared. "What the........!" yelled Mitchell. "He was just trying to uncover more or the metal object when that flash came and he disappeared," one of the men said. "Was this crack in it before?" questioned Daniel who had come running when the flash appeared. "No, he must have accidentally cracked it when the flash appeared or something." "Hmm, everyone get to work Greg, you can take over Daniel's," Mitchell said pointing to the man who had first found the huge piece of metal,"Sam, you can take over mine," he said yelling towards the man who had found the rubbery object,"Daniel, you're coming with me to find something to figure this out. Go get the piece of metal Jack found." Mitchell headed for the truck while Daniel went to get the piece of metal. When Daniel got in the truck they started heading back to the office building. When they got there they ran inside with the piece of metal in their hands. They went straight to the boss's office first. They didn't even knock they just barged in. "I'd tell the construction crew they can't build the new mall there." "Why because that little piece of metal in your hand." "No, because of everything that we can't bring here yet. We just lost a man out there. There's a rubbery object in red slime like substance, and a huge piece of metal that last I heard took up two guys' squares. Not to mention this is an unknown type of metal." Mitchell yelled. "What are you suggesting that little green men crashed there," the boss said sarcastically. "If I didn't know better yeah." "Well you're looking to be fired if you jump to such absurd conclusions. That's probably steel. Why don't you test it before you come barging in talking about ridiculous things like aliens." "Fine, but I think we'll be back with the same conclusion," Mitchell said as they opened the door and left." They started toward the lab to test the metal. "He really gets on my nerves sometimes." "He already gets on my nerves and I've only seen you talk to him and him yell back." They got to the lab just in time to see it was occupied. "Oh great we have to wait until their out to even test this. I told the boss we needed to get more labs. That someone was always in it." Suddenly their was a tiny explosion in the lab and the two archaeologists who were in it came running out coughing. A clean up crew came running down the hall and closed it off. "Err. I've got to have a word with the boss why don't you go back to the site and see if they've found anything else. Here's the keys." Mitchell started heading back to the boss's office while Daniel went back to the truck.
Daniel arrived to find the huge piece of metal now covered twelve squares and showed no sign of ending. "Daniel, where's Mitchell?" asked a man. "He's having a word with the boss. The lab blew up right when we got there," Daniel replied disappointedly Everyone burst out in laughter when they heard Mitchell was having a word with the boss, but when they heard the lab blew up they groaned. "You mean you don't know what type of metal it is. We told them to build another lab!!!" everyone yelled at once. "Find anything besides more of that piece of metal?" "Nope," one man said.
Bam!!! "YOU can't just keep barging in here Mitchell!!" "Yeah well excuse me for being a bit angry, but the lab just exploded like I'm sure you know. It happened right before we could test the metal. I told you we needed another lab!!!" "And I told you it's not in the budget!!! "Not according to the stinkin' budget papers. They say there's a five thousand surplus!! That's enough to build another lab wouldn't you say!!" "Mitchell!! I'm tired of your attitude!! Do you want FIRED!!!" "NO!!! But I think that if there's a darn five thousand dollar surplus that we could get another stinkin' lab!!" "That's it Mitchell I'm tired of this!! Your FIRED!!!! "Fired!!! Fired!!!" BAM!! Mitchell hit his former boss. "OUCH!!! I'll make sure you stay out of archaeology as long as I live!!" "Fine!! Fire me huh! You won't get me off this odd case so easily they'll listen to me and even if they don't you can't get rid of Daniel for this and he'll have them do what I tell him to have them do!!" He slammed the door as he walked out. He started running toward the parking lot. Then he remembered he'd given the keys to Daniel and he started running toward the dig site.
A voice came over the walkie-talkie on the side of Daniel's pants,"Daniel! You would be better off if you don't listen to Mitchell when he gets there!! I just fired him, and he threatened you'd tell everyone there to do he wanted them to do!! If you do that I'll fire you too!!!" "Ok," Daniel answered,"Oh and we have some interesting developments out here I hope you get the lab cleaned up soon." "Good out," the voice came back. Suddenly Mitchell came running up and stopped in surprise when he got closer. "You found the end of the metal huh." "Yeah, got fired huh." "Oh, you heard," Mitchell said groaning. "You are going to listen to me aren't you." "I don't know depends on how you got fired?" "Supposedly my attitude." "Just like old times," Daniel said laughing,"yeah I'll listen to you still as long as he doesn't find out. He's already threatened to fire me if I do." "Good how close to getting that thing out are you," Mitchell said pointing to the huge hunk of metal which they had finally uncovered. It turned out to cover seventeen squares. "Shouldn't be long. I don't think it's very thick." "Good I think there might be more of the rubbery objects under it." Suddenly someone yelled,"We've got it!!" "Then lift it up!" Mitchell yelled. Everyone lifted it up at once and it went straight up and tumbled over on it's other side creating a huge breeze of sand that hurt their eyes. There was a huge indention in the sand where the piece of metal was. "It wasn't that thick! Why's there such a huge indention."someone said. "I don't know, but there's something on it," Mitchell said. Daniel quickly ran to it to see what was on it. "It looks like writing of some sort." "What type is it?" Jack asked. "I don't know." "Daniel go get a linguist to read it." "Why don't you go Mitchell?"a man asked. "Uh because I think I should be here if anyone find something else." "Got fired huh!!"everyone yelled at once. "Yep." Daniel got in the truck and drove straight to the office building. When he got there he headed reluctantly to the boss's office. He knocked on the door. "Come in," came the boss's voice from inside the office. Daniel walked into the office. "Oh I suppose you're done with your assignment and want another partner. You get your choice since you haven't screwed up like Mitchell did." "Actually I came for a linguist, but that partner might be nice too." "Ok who do you want." "Aaron." "Uh fine, but you best not be taking orders from Mitchell still," the boss said with a touch of anger in his voice. "I'll page him along with a linguist." The boss quickly pushed two buttons on the phone and told both the people that answered to get to his office immediately. "You know there's nothing there don't you. That thing's probably an old aircraft." "Still gotta make sure you know." There was suddenly a knock and Aaron and another person walked in. Aaron had been another friend of Mitchell and Daniel's during school. "Daniel!!"Aaron suddenly said,"I didn't know you were into archaeology." "Yeah I'm as this guy says a rookie," Daniel said pointing toward the boss. "I'll see you later boss," Daniel said as they all left through the door. "Did you hear Mitchell got himself fired?" Daniel asked Aaron as they walked toward the truck. "No, I hope it's not because of the vase." "No, he got fired for his attitude. At least that's the reason the boss gave Mitchell." They all laughed together even the linguist. "I think we're onto something big at the new site of the mall though," Daniel said as they got into the truck. "What do you need a linguist for anyway?" "Oh just a huge hunk of an unknown type of metal with some sort of writing on the back." They arrived and they all quickly got out and went straight to the piece of metal. "Look who I brought along with me Mitchell." "Hey Mitch,"Aaron said as he looked at the hunk of metal in astonishment. "Yeah I know bizarre isn't it." "I'd say." "That's what your translating John," he said to the linguist pointing to the writing on the chunk of metal. The linguist walked up to the hunk of metal and tried to translate the writing without much luck. "Well this could be 'it' in Arabic, but this could be 'you' in Egyptian. The rest I just can't read." "It seems we're leaning more to the boss's joke then we were even before huh Daniel." Daniel laughed. "I guess get back to digging especially where that was," he said pointing to the metal. It was another couple of hours before they found something else this time it was one of the people who was digging where the hunk of metal had been. It looks like some sort of body. "Oh great the boss won't believe this, but go tell him that it seems we don't have green men, but we have large blue men." "How can you tell it's so beat up." "I can just make out the features of a head and legs." "Let's go! Aaron, uh... John right. We can see if they have the lab cleaned up yet while we're there." They got in the truck and once again headed toward the office building. They went straight to the boss's office . Daniel knocked and walked in. "I don't know if you're going to believe this or not. We don't have little green men, but...." "I told you that you were being absurd,"interrupted the boss. "You didn't let me finish. Instead we have large blue men. I'm surprised you could fire Mitchell for his attitude because you're just as rude. Interrupting and all. Anyway when are you going to have that lab cleaned up." "First it's clear you are taking orders from him still because you shouldn't stinkin' know why I fired him!! Second the lab won't be clean for quite a few weeks!!" "Boss frankly I think you should hire him back because you just did the same thing you fired him for and I won't hesitate to get you fired," Daniel said smiling. "WHAT!!! You can't get me fired!!! I'm your boss." "Yes, I can. You have a boss too, and now I can get you fired. I won't though in less you refuse to hire Mitchell back." "Fine, go tell him he has his job back. I suppose you want him as your partner too." "Yeah, got a problem with that. Oh, and Aaron is staying on this job too." "Err... I'm starting to hate you as much as I did Mitchell!!" the boss yelled extremely annoyed. "Oh, before I leave you would be best to use the surplus to fix the lab in about two days," Daniel said starting to get up from his seat. "How'd you find out about that!!" "It's in the contract you sign when you first come to work,"Daniel said as Aaron and he opened the door and walked out shutting the door behind them. "Go tell Mitchell he has his job back, Aaron. I guess we're done with you John. I'll meet you in the cafeteria, Aaron. I assume Mitchell will be with you." Daniel headed down the hall toward the cafeteria while Aaron went back up the hall to the parking lot, and John headed back for his office.

Chapter 3 The Conspiracy This isn't Arabic, Egyptian or alien. It's all Spanish. That's the one language I know and John doesn't. That's why John's known as one of the worst linguists in our business because he doesn't even know the second most common language. Why didn't the boss give us one of the better linguists. I can read this though anyway. Now let's see here. It says: 'We go on through the skies searching for life, but only a few of the lifeforms shall know. We are the earth quadrant searchers and shall only reveal ourselves to: Henry Gordon, Howard Wheeler, and Richard Pochner. If we should crash for some horrible reason they shall clean the site debris up. So that no one else shall know. Richard Pochner huh. Looks like the boss has been covering something up. I'll have to have Daniel talk to him about this. I'm surprised Daniel didn't notice it. He liked taking his Spanish class after all. Of course he took it in Junior High and I took it in High School. So he might have forgotten more than me. Suddenly a truck came up and Aaron stepped out. "Where's Daniel?"Mitchell asked as Aaron came over. "In the cafeteria waiting for us." " I can't go back to the office I've been fired remember," Mitchell said giving Aaron a look like he was stupid. "Oh Daniel got your job back." "How?" "He got the boss to use a bit of attitude on him. Then he said he'd have him fired if he didn't give you your job back and he said he better use the surplus to clean the lab up in two days." "Good old Daniel." "Now let's go," Aaron said getting back in the truck. "Everybody keep digging. Call me if you find anything," Mitchell said getting in the truck. They drove off heading for the office building.
That's odd I thought the boss said the lab wouldn't be cleaned up for weeks. Looks clean already. What could be left to clean up. That's awfully peculiar. The boss seems to be mistaken about it going to take weeks to clean up. Daniel had been walking down the hall to the cafeteria when he noticed the lab looked perfectly clean. Now he was thinking to himself about it as he ate and waited for Aaron and Mitchell. It was a little while before Mitchell and Aaron walked over to him with their food. "So find anything else Mitchell?" "Nope, not since the body. Oh and thanks for getting my job back." "Just being a good friend. He shouldn't of fired you for your attitude when his is just as bad." They continued to eat until they were all done. Then they started back down the hall. "Hey guys actually there was something I found. I'm the only one that knows and I don't want anyone else to know until I talk to the boss about it. It's about the writing on the hunk of metal. It was in the one language I know. John doesn't know it. It's one of the seven languages he doesn't know. He's known as one of the worst linguists in archaeology because of it. At least in this building. "So it was in Spanish. That's the only foreign language you know. Why didn't I see it. Especially when I saw vamos." "I was surprised you hadn't noticed it when I noticed it was in Spanish too." "Now remind me again what does vamos mean?" Aaron asked. "It's 'we go'. It was on there at least twice." "Yeah, vamos is 'we go'. Well the whole message was something about going through the skies looking for life and that only a few should know of them. The boss was one of the names listed. Of course it said Richard Pochner, but that's the boss's name. That's why I'm going to go have a talk with the boss." "Just don't get fired this time," Daniel said. "Hey, why don't you guys go back to the site in case they find something. Maybe we can figure out what that rubber-like object is or the reddish glue." "Oh, wait before you go I noticed the lab was cleaned up. The boss said it would take days, but it looks absolutely clean. It might have something to do with him being one of the few who know." "Come with me then. Aaron head back to the excavation site. I might need you to repeat that to the boss. Let's go." Mitchell and Daniel headed toward the boss's office while Aaron went back to the truck. A few minutes later Mitchell and Daniel barged into the boss's office. This time he was already talking to someone. "Darn it, you two can't you see I'm busy." "Get unbusy then!! You then you liar!! You lied about the lab going to take weeks to clean." "You told him the whole conversation didn't you Daniel." "Yep." Daniel said "Not to mention knowing we were right about the aliens. I could read that message on the back of the chunk of metal. You gave us the one linguist that couldn't read Spanish. I figure you caused the explosion too. So you could cover up the fact that aliens do exist." Suddenly the boss nodded at the man he had been talking to before Mitchell and Daniel had come in. Quickly the stranger pulled out an odd looking gun and pointed it at Mitchell and Daniel.
"Aaron! Aaron!! we found something. It appears to be some sort of weapon. Come quick!!" a man abruptly yelled. They had dug up a immense amount of dirt. Aaron had estimated it to be nearly thirty feet at the deepest spot. Aaron quickly ran to see what the man was yelling about. There laying in the middle of the man's hole was sure enough what looked like a gun. The gun was the size of a pistol, but seemed to have two barrels, and tons of knobs or bumps on the sides.
"I don't know if you've found any guns out at that crash site, but in case you haven't this is a gun. Oh and meet my friend Xlnada." "Xlnada, some name," remarked Mitchell. "He's part of the race you found out there, called the Daynads. I suggest you lay off this case and let us clean that wreck up because one shot from this gun and not only will you be dead, but you will be tortured on the way." "Just one question though why don't you want anyone besides a few like this idiot to know about you?" Mitchell said pointing towards the boss. "We can't let everyone know about us because if we did our enemies the Finas will find out we're hiding here," answered Xlnada. "Why not let us help you then? We could surely be a tremendous help against them anyway." "You wouldn't be any help at all. You would be more of a inconvenience. You have nowhere near enough technology to help us, and we don't have the time to create weapons for you or enough to give you." "We won't tell anyone we'll just leave, and just remember this in the back of our memory. You don't have to threaten us with a gun. We'll just clean the wreck up for you and forget it." Xlnada put the gun down and Daniel and Mitchell ran out for the truck.
The truck came up to the site just as Aaron was picking the gun up. "Careful with that Aaron. We just got threatened with one of those. We need to finish up here and forget about it ok," Mitchell said as Daniel and he got out of the truck. "Forget about it. Never," Aaron said coming over. "Aaron, forget it. We have to forget it Aaron. If we don't the Flinadas will find these guys are hiding here," Mitchell said. "Don't you mean Finas, Mitchell," Daniel said starting to laugh. "Yeah I knew that." "Well I think we're about done anyway. We've dug probably nearly fifty at the deepest and twenty at the lowest point." "Well dig a few more feet, and then we'll leave."

Chapter 4 Treason They had dug a few more feet without anything else being found. "I guess we should go now. You know I feel bad about not getting to tell this to anyone," Daniel said as they were packing up. "I know. It really stinks," Aaron said getting ready to get in the truck. Everyone there got into a truck and started back to the offices. When they got there they all started back toward their offices. "It's this way Daniel," Mitchell said pointing down the hall that had the boss's office. "I should've known it would be near the boss." They started down the hall, but before they could get there they suddenly heard yelling coming from the boss's office. "Come on Howard!! If you side with me we can surely get Henry to side with us!!" Mitchell stopped and put his ear to the door to listen better. Howard, Henry those were the other two names that were on the metal. "No Ricky I'm not ready to betray them after all those crashes we've cleaned up!!" "Well I am!! After those archaeologists of mine found out I realized it would be much easier to just let the Finas take out the Daynads!!" "Ricky, you don't get if we betray them and the Finas attack then the whole planet will suffer!!" "I've got that covered!! We'll let everyone, but us and our wives perish, but we'll live!!" "Can't you see!! Once they're through with the Daynads they'll thank us for betraying them, but then turn right around and stab us in the back ending two races in a matter of say months!!" "Fine, I don't need either of you. I just need to find a way to get ahold of the Finas." "I'm not going to let you get us all killed!! I'll find a way to stop you!! Maybe not today! Maybe not tomorrow, but I'll stop you before you can tell the stupid Finas!!" Suddenly the door opened, and Mitchell grabbed the man the boss had called Howard, and threw him back into the office. "I don't know much about these Finas or the Daynads, whom I'm assuming are the same large, but I think it's our business now, and you'd best to start telling us more about these before we decide who we're siding with. After that argument about every human dying I'm just about ready to side with this guy. Your actually quite lucky I'm going to listen to your side first though, boss," Mitchell said. "You better get to telling us about these guys in general before we even start talking about betrayal," Daniel added. "Mitchell, Daniel, you two would be best to just take your noses out of this." "I don't think so I know we agreed to, but if the entire human race is going to be wiped out because of it I think we should be in the middle of everything." "I don't know about you Rick, but I'm going to tell them. They need to know before they side with me to keep you from betraying the Daynads, and killing us all," Howard suddenly said. "Finally someone sensible." "Ok, as I heard you know the Daynads are enormous as well as blue and humanoid. What you probably don't know is they can become any form of life they see. Another thing is that they are in a war with the Finas." "We know about their war with the Finas and how you've been hiding them from everyone. How did they get in the war though?" Daniel asked. "They've been in the war for years actually. It was caused when the Finas stole what the Daynads call the Slena. We don't know what it is exactly though. Well eventually the Finas after millions of years took the Daynads down to less than eighty. That's where we come in. As you've said you know we've been hiding them for some fifteen years. They go around looking for life that can help them get their precious Slena back from the Finas. When they found us those fifteen years or so they decided we'd hinder them more than we could help, but they decided they'd let a few know of them so they could hide easily from the Finas. Those of course were me, Rick here, and Henry Gordon. I'm of course Howard Wheeler if you didn't know," Howard continued. "Ok I already want to side with you, but one more thing first. What are Finas like just so we know." "What we know of the Finas are they're human size, and have pupils that are triangles. Everything else looks like a human except that they're red. They can change into any creature they know of just like the Daynads can, but their eyes stay triangles no matter what shape they take. They are rarely in their own form so that no one can tell easily if they're Finas or the creature they're impersonating. Everything we know of the Finas though is from the Daynads." "Fine, we'll help you keep the boss here from betraying them." "Oh, thank you. Thank you." "Let's go we have to figure out how to stop this guy. Come with me to my office." "Can't we just kill him or tie him up or something," Mitchell commented as they all were leaving the boss's office. "I'd rather not," Howard replied. They walked out the door to the office building, and through the parking lot until they came to a yellow Ford. "This is my truck," Howard said as he pulled out his keys to unlock the doors. He put the keys in the door, but before he could turn the keys he suddenly stopped, and looked up into the sky. "I think Rick might have already found a way to contact the Finas." "Oh no. How did he contact them so fast." "I'm not sure, but I think we're in trouble." Right there in the middle of the air was some sort of ship nothing like the one they had found at the dig site. Instead it was shaped like a triangle with three lights one at each point of the ship.

I haven't posted anything on this in a long time because I've been needing to figure out how to put the next part up because of the font I use in parts and because of the lack of purpose because of how inactive the guild was. I plan to start posting more again soon, though, since the guild is becoming active again even though I still haven't figured out how to fix the problem.

Chapter 5 Coincidences? Mitchell suddenly started running back toward the building. When Daniel saw him start running for the building he quickly started running behind him followed by Howard. Suddenly as they neared the boss's office and Mitchell started to open the door Daniel saw Mitchell pull the Daynad weapon, they had found at the dig, out of his pocket right as he opened the boss's door. "Mitchell!! Don't do it!!" Daniel yelled down the hall. "I can't shoot someone who's gone!" Mitchell yelled as Daniel and Howard caught up to him. "Where can he be though?" Daniel asked. "We better figure out what to do with the Fina ship first. We can take care of him later." They started running back to the parking lot to find that the ship had landed and the Daynads had gathered to try their best to fight the thousands of Finas that had started to come out of the odd shaped ship. Both were just in their regular forms. There only seemed to be a few of the Daynads compared to the several Finas. Mitchell pulled the gun up in front of him and tried to aim it at the entrance to the Fina ship. He fired and hit the side of the door causing the spot to fall apart into dozens of pieces hitting the Finas near the spot. Suddenly Howard started to smirk as more Finas got hit and died. He then ran up close to the ship where the Finas had been hit so hard there was a huge gap between them. Once there he pulled a square object out of his pocket and put it right next to the Fina ship. He quickly started running back toward the Daynads immediately after laying the object down. Expecting a explosion from the square object Howard had placed down under the ship Mitchell headed back inside the door behind him pulling Daniel in with him, but instead of an explosion the square object just lit up, like the piece of the Daynad ship they'd found had when it made the man disappear, and the ship just disappeared. Infuriated by their ship disappearing the Finas fought harder. Not having any success at making any leeway in defeating the Daynads the Finas started running in every direction except towards the Daynads in front of them. Quickly the Daynads started running after the Finas capturing a few before letting the rest go. Daniel and Mitchell slowly walked up to the Daynads and Howard. "Did pretty well to have the disadvantage. What was that thing anyway?" Daniel asked. "It's called a hlnern, but to you its a teleporter," answered a Daynad. "So do you know where the archaeologist we lost at the dig went then?" Mitchell asked getting excited that his coworker might actually be alive still. The Daynad was quiet suddenly before he turned toward Howard who nodded so slightly Daniel could just barely tell he had nodded at all. "Yes we know where your coworker is. He must of scratched our ship when you were digging it up. We can take you there now, but you must leave immediately after you pick him up so you won't get in our way." The Daynad started heading toward the forest next to the office building. The other Daynads, Howard, and they followed behind. They walked for what seemed to Mitchell to be nearly two hours before they arrived at a large building in the middle of the forest that rose until just a few feet under the tops of the trees. Just barely where it wouldn't be seen from the sky. They rapidly followed the lead Daynad into the building. Once inside they went directly to one of the doors on the first floor. Inside the room was the archaeologist who had disappeared at the dig site. He had been bound and gagged. Surprised and at the same time glad to see his coworker again Mitchell ran over toward the archaeologist. "P.J. what did they do to you!!" Mitchell yelled as he neared the tied up archaeologist. Realizing the Daynads had tied the archaeologist, who turned out to be another one of his old friends in school, Daniel turned around to see that Howard had pulled a Daynad gun out and was pointing it at him. "What's going on here?" Daniel asked surprised not only to see Howard pointing the Daynad gun at him, but also to see his old friend P.J. Without answering Howard stepped back, and closed the door as well as locking it. "What is with all my old friends and archeology," Daniel said turning back towards Mitchell and P.J. who had been ungagged and unbound by Mitchell. "I just got the urge to a while back," P.J. said. Daniel suddenly started staring at the wall behind P.J. "Hey P.J. any idea what the wall says." Mitchell and P.J. turned to see the wall full of odd symbols. It covered the whole back wall.
Next Paragraph Should Be In Wingdings (May Slightly Spoil Part of Story)! It read: The Legend Of The Slena: Taken from the Finas in the human year 3000 B.C. it was originally planned to steal it for the purpose of using the power of destruction over enemies for ourselves, but never carried out. Before the plan could be carried out the Kurons started to get dangerously close to getting its power. It was stolen for both reasons, but after attempted use and failure it was soon decided to hide it on the primitive planet Earth. The humans soon found it, and used it successfully on enemies until it was recaptured by us, and hidden behind this wall.
End Of Wingdings!
"No idea. It looks like some sort of code or alien language though," P.J. said. "Let's find a way out of here though," Mitchell said changing the subject,"We can worry about codes and alien languages after we get out of here and warn all of civilization about these guys." Suddenly before anyone could reply to Mitchell's comment he went running into the door. The door didn't even appear to have been hit at all. "I think we need a more reasonable way out this time Mitchell," Daniel said looking around for a way out. "Well any other ideas then," Mitchell said. "No, but I'd say there probably is a way, and I think the code has something to do with it." "Forget the stupid code, alien language, or what ever already, and find a way out of here." "Shut up you two I think I found a way out," P.J. finally said. "Where?!" Mitchell and Daniel screamed at once. "There's a crack straight down the center of the wall over there. The only one without writing." "What can we dig the rest of the way through with though?" Mitchell asked. "Would you look already there are sharp rocks from where it cracked laying on the floor." Mitchell took a closer look at the wall there on the ground lay a bunch of sharp rocks from where it cracked. "Get a rock and start digging then," Mitchell ordered, "We need to work hard it could be pretty thick though." "What idiots building the walls out of rocks and dirt." They picked up stones and started digging hoping the wall wasn't very thick. Several hours later they were all tired of digging through the wall and everyone except P.J. had stopped digging out of frustration. "Come on guys. It can't be much thicker." "Forget it P.J. We're never going to get through that," Mitchell said back tiredly. "Yeah not with that attitude." Just then as P.J. spoke he dug right through into another room. They all got down on the ground and started crawling through the opening. When they started to see the next room more clearly they also heard deep voices that could only be the Daynads. "Once they find their way through into this room from there we can finally test Granga's theory. The power of the Slena will finally be ours," came one of the voices. "The hundreds of years in waiting are over. We finally captured three humans that are friends,"came another voice. "All we need is for them to break their way in here so we can go get the Slena and force them to use it for us," came the first voice. "Are you sure it's going to work though?" came a third voice. "It took years for us to influence all those humans to go into archeology so we could plant a fake ship of ours and have Richard Pochner send them to the site. It better work," came the first voice once again.

Chapter 6 The Slena "We better dig section of this tunnel that goes another way so they can't get us," P.J. whispered to Daniel and Mitchell. "Darn it we're never going to get out of here then." Mitchell said so loud Daniel and P.J. were afraid the Daynads would hear them. "Shh," Daniel and P.J. said towards Mitchell at the same time. "Fine let's get back to the room so we can talk louder and plan which way to go." They started heading back down the tunnel they had dug towards the room they had come from. "I can't believe it wasn't coincidence that we all got interested in archaeologist, or that we were the ones to find the space ship, and they planned it all," Mitchell said once they got back in the room they had come from. "I know, but we can't let them force us into helping them use the Slena, or whatever. The power is surely going to do horrible things if they get their hands on it. So we need to decide which way to dig another section of the tunnel," P.J. said. "I say we go to the right in the center of the current one," Daniel said. "Why?" Mitchell asked. "I just have a feeling about it, and I trust my feelings." "Fine, let's do that then," P.J. said heading into the tunnel with the same sharp rock he'd dug the current tunnel out with. Daniel and Mitchell picked up rocks, and headed back into the tunnel after P.J. It took them several more hours before they hit something hard. "Darn it's a wall," Mitchell yelled,"You led us straight into a wall, Daniel." "Calm down Mitchell," P.J. said. "Calm down. You want me to calm down. Fine." Mitchell hit them both in the head throwing them up against the wall. He quickly headed back down the tunnel. He was a while before Daniel and P.J. recovered from the blows Mitchell had given them, but when they did Mitchell was no where in sight. They headed down the tunnel until they were back in the room they had started from, but there was still no sign of Mitchell. What there was though was a huge hole in the wall where they had been looking at the strange symbols. "I don't know what happened, but I think we should try to figure out the writing on the other two walls," Daniel said to P.J. "I don't think so, Daniel. I think we should get out of here with or without Mitchell." "I guess, but we have to come back for him, and the writing." They headed back into the tunnel, and started digging to the left from the same spot as before. This time instead of hitting a solid wall they dug straight into a cracked section of wall that once broken led them into the hallway where they had been in before being thrown into the room with the strange symbols. They quickly started running for the door, but right before they got the door open they found themselves surrounded by a bunch of Daynads. "They won't shoot us. Go ahead and open the door,"Daniel whispered to P.J. hoping the Daynads wouldn't hear him. P.J. quickly turned the knob on the door, and ran outside. He kept running until he noticed the Daynads weren't following him. He also noticed Daniel wasn't behind him either. He didn't even stop for this he didn't stop until he was back at the office building, and straight into Aaron's office. To his surprise though Aaron was no where to be found. He quickly ran back out into the hall, and into each and every office he saw until he suddenly ran into someone in the hall. To P.J.'s surprise it was the boss. The boss started laughing though as he grabbed P.J., and P.J. remembered that the boss had been involved in setting him, Daniel, Mitchell, and Aaron up. "Let me go!!" screamed P.J. "Never!! We can't have you spreading word of us around now can we. Back to the lair with you," replied the boss,"We may need you in case one of your friends won't cooperate and we have to dispose of him." Soon after saying this the boss reached into his pocket and pulled out one of the objects that had become known to Mitchell, Daniel, and him as a transporter. The boss quickly threw it down, and threw P.J. onto it, and stepped onto it himself as a flash of light came up and surrounded them. When the light finally disappeared they were back in the room of the house in the woods that they had originally dug the tunnel to. In the room now though he saw Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron strapped down to chairs with a stone box in front of them. Behind Mitchell, Daniel and Aaron stood everyone else who worked in the archaeologist building each with a Daynad standing in front of them holding a Daynad gun. In front of Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron stood five more Daynads. Four of them pointing Daynad guns at Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron. The fifth held a gold staff with a sphere on the top with two buttons. "Put him with the others, Richard. Bek, guard him," the Daynad with the staff ordered another Daynad standing behind him. The Daynad that had been called Bek went and took P.J. from the boss and placed him with the archaeologists behind Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron. He lifted his hand up to show his gun, and he just left it pointing at P.J. like the other Daynads in front of the other archaeologists against the wall with him. "Take your place with Howard and Henry, Richard," the Daynad with the staff said to the boss, and for the first time since he had been there P.J. noticed Howard and another man he assumed to be Henry standing in the far back of the room. The boss quickly started walking to the back of the room where Howard and Henry stood. Once he did this there came a voice, deeper than any they had heard before, came from somewhere in the shadows of the room. "Are we ready to start, Kudan?" came the voice. "Yes, Granga," answered the Daynad with the staff. "Then proceed with the ceremony, and test my theory. You are the one chosen to take part in the ceremony," came the voice again. "Yes, your highness." There was a pause before they went on, and the room was so silent that you could here the wind whistling outside. Kudan finally proceeded. "It is a wonderful day today. The day all Daynads have awaited. The day that King Granga's theory shall be tested. The theory of how to use the Slena. The theory that influenced for several years Daynads to influence humans into archaeology so that they could be set up by allies as well as fellow Daynads. So that they could be used to give the power of the Slena to the Daynads. The day has finally come!! We shall finally use the Slena to defeat the Finas and the Kurons." Kudan approached the stone box, that P.J. now thought to be the Slena, and took the lid off to reveal a shiny gold box with handles on two sides. "Put your right hands on the Slena pitiful humans," commanded Kudan. Very hesitantly Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron put their right hands on the gold box as Kudan had commanded. Once Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron did this Kudan handed the staff to the Daynad on his right and put his own right hand on the Slena. As soon as Kudan put his hand on the Slena there was a bright light that caused P.J. to squint. The light was full of every color that P.J. had seen and it even seemed to have colors no human had seen before in it. When the light cleared there was nothing different except where Kudan had been standing there was a enormous yellow spider-like creature. "He's a Kuron!!" a Daynad standing nearby said. The creature quickly grabbed the Slena with one of its huge spider legs and put the Slena on its back. It started scurrying with the Slena toward the back of the room followed by a crowd of Daynads chasing and shooting at him. When he reached the back another one of his kind appeared. Together they spit some sort of acid at the Daynads surrounding them killing at least four Daynads, but before long a shot from a Daynad hit them causing them to shake as they died. In the hurry all the Daynads guarding the archaeologists had left leaving it open for them to free Mitchell, Daniel, and Aaron and leave through the tunnel Mitchell, Daniel, and P.J. had dug. When they left the tunnel from the turn that Daniel and P.J. had dug they found the hallway to be empty of anyone and they met no interference as they left through the front door. They quickly started back to the office to figure out what they were going to do about the aliens next.

Chapter 7 The Agency "I say we just forget this ever happened. As long as we act as if we don't know about the them, the Finas, the Slena, or anything then they'll leave us alone," an archaeologist yelled at the others in the office building. They had gone into the lab and were now trying to figure out what to do next. "That's so untrue!! They captured us once they'll do it again. They may even be able to use the Slena now. I don't know what this Slena is, but I don't think it's anything we want to mess with," P.J. yelled back at the other archaeologist. "Then what do you suggest!!!" the same archaeologist yelled back at P.J. "Quiet you two!! I think we should tell all the world leaders they can decide what they should do." Daniel said. "They have no right to know though!!" another archaeologist said. "Yes they do!! They have a right to know what's happening in their countries and dealing with it themselves," Daniel said back. "Okay then lets take vote," Mitchell said,"All in favor of forgetting this happened raise your hand," Mitchell paused and counted, "Okay all in favor of telling world leaders raise your hand," Mitchell paused again to count,"That's it then we tell." "There's just one problem though. If they decide to tell everyone there will be worldwide panic," P.J. said. "Fine we'll tell them to not tell and just run the countries as if they didn't know and just to make sure they have some defense against them and start to plan some strategy," Daniel said. "Sounds good. Let's go," P.J. said getting up. Everyone quickly got up to head out the door, but before they got to the door P.J. spoke again. "Whoa guys we can't all go." "Good point. Who should go?" "I say Daniel, Aaron, and Mitchell they've been through the most after all," one guy said. "Hey have you forgotten I got teleported from the dig site to the building in the forest, and then got tied up for hours before getting untied by Mitchell." "Fine then Daniel, Aaron, Mitchell, and P.J." "Yeah!!" everyone yelled at once. "Ahh!! Not so loud gosh!!" P.J. yelled back as he started to open the door. He, Daniel, Mitchell, and Aaron quickly went through the door, got in a truck and headed to the airport to get a ticket for the first stop on their list, D.C. When they got to the airport they quickly went to the front desk to get tickets. They were very lucky and were able to get tickets for the plane leaving in two hours. "What you guys want to do while we wait. There's not much point in leaving," P.J. said. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm hungry," Aaron said, " See you in about half an hour to an hour." "Well I'm going to go see what's in the news. I didn't get to read it this morning," Mitchell said. "I'm going to go take a nap on that bench. We might not get much time to sleep with those aliens running around," P.J. said pointing to an empty bench a few feet away. "I'm going to go to the bathroom, and watch the TV or something," Daniel said heading off for the bathroom. Mitchell headed for a chair near a stack of newspapers while P.J. laid down on the bench he had pointed to. Aaron soon started off toward the food court just a little way away from where they had been standing. P.J. was able to quickly go to sleep once he laid down on the bench while Mitchell started reading one of the newspapers. It wasn't long before Daniel came back from the restroom, and sat next to Mitchell and started watching TV in front of them. "Not much that's real interesting in there is there, Mitchell," Daniel said turning to Mitchell. He had gotten bored of watching the news on the TV. Suddenly Mitchell handed him a book that had been sitting with the newspapers. "Here read this. Just let me read the newspaper okay." Daniel looked at the book. The title was The Wrinkle in Time. "Come on, Mitchell. You know I hated this book as much as you," Daniel said tossing the book back at Mitchell. "Fine what do you want to do then. It's clear I'm not going to get to read the newspaper." "I don't know pick on P.J. until Aaron gets back." They both started to laugh softly. "Just like we used to huh." "Oh yeah," Daniel said getting out of the chair he was in. Mitchell soon did the same thing. They both walked over to P.J. "Hmm. Let's see what can we do to him," Daniel said when they got over to the bench P.J. was sleeping on. "I don't know it was your idea I thought you had something in mind." "I've got it. Do you see a pillow we can use anywhere?" "We might be able to get one from the front desk." "Good," Daniel said headed back over to the front desk laughing on the way. When he got there he quickly asked if he could have a pillow, and the person at the desk handed him a pillow. He quickly headed back over to P.J. with the pillow. "Now what are you going to do with that," Mitchell said when Daniel got back over to P.J. "This," Daniel said sticking the pillow over P.J.'s head. "Can he breathe with that there?" Mitchell asked a bit worried about P.J. "He's done it before," Daniel said heading back over to the chair he'd left. Mitchell soon followed once he was convinced P.J. could breathe. Right as they got back to their seats Aaron came over with a hamburger in his hand. Aaron started to laugh softly. "So is he asleep under there?" Aaron asked still laughing. "Boy is he," Daniel said back. Aaron started eating the hamburger he had brought over, and Mitchell went back to reading the newspaper.
An hour later P.J. suddenly moved. "Whoa that was a long dream. I can't believe I've actually been at Justin's sleepover the whole time," P.J. started to move the pillow as Daniel, Mitchell, and Aaron burst out in laughter, "Aww, it wasn't all a big long dream!! Daniel!!" "What?" Daniel said back. "I know it was you who did this to me. Just like Justin's sleepover. I'll get you back." "That's what you always say P.J." Aaron said. "Would you guys be quiet I'm trying to watch the news," Mitchell said. Suddenly a sound of confusion came over the TV. "What's going on?" Daniel asked in response to the sound of confusion on the TV. "I don't know. Come look." They all looked at the TV. right as the confusion was dying down and the reporter returned to his seat and started to speak again. "I hate to report the news to you tonight as it seems history is repeating itself with higher intensity. It has happened again. Another terror attack on the world. It seems so horrible. No one thought that history would repeat itself worse that awful day in September, 2001. This time it was the whole world. We now go to Jack Robinson in D.C." The picture switched to a picture of a man in front of the burning White House. "Noooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They all screamed. "This is no terrorist attack guys. Either the Daynads, the Finas, or the Kurons did this," Mitchell said turning away from the TV. as the TV. started showing pictures of every burning capital of every country in the world," I guess we may as well head back to the office now. They've outsmarted us this time," Mitchell got up tearing his ticket to pieces as he headed out the door followed by the others. They quickly sped through the streets toward the office building as people all over the place pulled off the road and went into buildings to see the news on what most thought to be a terrorist attack, but the archaeologists who knew of the Daynads, Finas, and Kurons knew it wasn't a terrorist attack. They soon arrived at the office building to find even more to be angry with the aliens for. The office building was on fire. "What happened here? Aaron asked. "I don't know, but their building in the woods appears to be on fire too," P.J. replied. "I can't believe this in an hour and a half they've stopped us from getting to the world leaders as well as destroying all evidence of their existence. Everything from their building to the fake metal ship are gone," Mitchell said. "Well we have to fight back don't we," Daniel said. "What are you suggesting, Daniel?" P.J. asked. "What I'm suggesting is an agency to fight back against them all." "So what you're saying is forget the now probably dead world leaders and fight them on our own," Mitchell said. "Yep." "That's absolutely insane!!!" Mitchell suddenly yelled," There's no way we can fight them all by ourselves. There's only approximately three hundred of us including the archaeologists who were supposed to be waiting for us here. Who knows how many Daynads there are. Or how many Kurons. Or even Finas." "Well we have to try don't we." "Fine!! I'll give it a try." "Besides they're fighting each other too." "We can rebuild an agency to fight them on the wreckage of the office I guess." "It's going to take a while though don't you think." "So we can wait can't we. We just need it built to begin." "Fine let's go find the others," Mitchell said getting into the truck followed by everyone else. They drove out of the parking lot just as the fire truck was getting there.

Chapter 8 Alliances One month later they had built the building back on the wreckage of the archaeology building, and were ready to move in. All three hundred archaeologists had gathered for the opening of the new building. They had decided to keep the agency a secret so they were passing the building off as a new archaeology building. "All that's left now is to cut the red ribbon," Daniel said joking. They had decided to not have a ceremony. So that no one would get the chance to snoop around, and find their secret passages. They all started inside to head to their offices, but before they broke off separately Mitchell suddenly yelled. "So we're agreed that in half an hour we'll have a meeting in the meeting room we made in place of the boss's office right." Everyone nodded in agreement, and started off toward their offices that were in the same places their old ones were. They had planned to get settled back into their offices, and have a meeting soon after to decide what to do first.
Half an hour later they met in the meeting room they had made out of the boss's old office. "Okay, first of all I think we need to elect someone to be in charge," Daniel said. "Any nominations, then?" P.J. asked. "I say Aaron!" one guy said. "I think Mitchell should be!!" someone else yelled. "I think P.J. should!" yet another person yelled. "Okay, then let's vote," Daniel said. He paused to get some paper. He then continued,"Okay, who says Aaron." Daniel counted the number of people who raised their hands, and then continued,"Okay, who thinks Mitchell should be in charge?," he paused again to count, and wrote it down. He then continued,"Okay, who wants P.J." he counted, and wrote the number down. He then continued,"Mitchell is the boss then," Daniel concluded letting Mitchell move to the empty chair at the end of the table. "Well then are there any other orders of business?" "I have one more thing," Daniel said. "What is it?" "We need a motto." "Did you have anything in mind?" "I was thinking the motto could be 'To Investigate All Things Paranormal'." "Did you forget that we're only going after the aliens?" Mitchell asked. "I didn't forget, but I thought that we could investigate the other while we're at it." "Why?" "Well first of all the aliens won't keep us very active, and second the public will need to see us doing archaeological related things to keep our cover. Oh, and third we could get rid of the archaeological cover, and take up that we our searching for ghosts, and aliens. We won't say we know there are aliens though." "Let's take a vote then," Mitchell said,"Everyone in favor say I." Everyone said I. "Then our motto will be 'To Investigate All Things Paranormal'." "Anything else?" "I have something," P.J. spoke up. "Okay, go on P.J." "I did some investigating on the remains of the building the Daynads were inhabiting, and found they were made from the same stone as the Great Pyramids. They appeared to actually of been shipped from the Giza Plateau to the woods beside this building." "Interesting, I think we have our first case. When I decide who should go to the Giza Plateau I'll tell those people. Okay, anyone else now," he paused to give anyone a chance to speak. When no on did he continued," If not then everyone is dismissed to go to their office. I'll send any assignments to you."
Just a few minutes after the meeting had concluded Mitchell knocked on the door to Daniel's office. He had an empty folder in his hand along with some plastic bags, and some basic archaeological equipment. Daniel quickly opened the door. "I decided you should have the case involving the Giza Plateau, and the building the Daynads were inhabiting. You are to take twenty other archaeologists with you including the best linguist we have, Justin." Mitchell turned to lead Daniel to Justin's office, but before they got out the door Mitchell turned around, and handed Daniel the items he was holding in his hand. "Use this to keep track of your findings, and to test the your findings for something. I assume you know what everything does." "Yeah." They started walking toward Justin's office again. When they got there they knocked on the door, and Justin promptly opened the door for them. He invited them in, but instead of coming in they told him about being on the case with Daniel, and nineteen other archaeologists of Daniel's choice. "I'll let you choose your nineteen other archaeologists now I guess," Mitchell said heading back to his office. "So you're here too, Justin." "Yep." "Any idea who I should pick. You've been here longer than me." "I'd suggest Tom, but that's the only suggestion I can think of."
Within a few minutes Daniel had picked the nineteen other archaeologists to go with him, and Justin. He had picked them all pretty much randomly except for the one Justin had suggested, Tom. He was now on the way to Mitchell's office to make sure he knew who was going with him, and Justin. He also wanted to make sure Mitchell knew they were ready to depart for the Giza Plateau. When they told Mitchell, he quickly noted who was going, and said one thing. "I know this is going to sound weird coming from me, but no goofing off. This is serious business, and we need to know as much as we can about these guys because we surely won't be able to beat them with weapons. We need to know about their culture, and their weaknesses so we can outwit them. I know you're pretty serious. That's why I chose you. Get back as soon as possible without rushing." They then left the building, and got into twenty-one different trucks. Since the so called "terrorist attack" the governments had banned all air travel indefinitely. So they would have to go by truck, and ship all the way to the Giza Plateau. It took them two weeks to get to the Giza Plateau. In that time P.J. was assigned to investigate Roswell, New Mexico, Aaron was assigned to the whole east coast for basic security, Mitchell assigned himself to Germany for basic security, and several other archaeologists were assigned to numerous other areas. Mostly for basic security.
"Hey, Daniel I think we have something. Get over here," someone yelled at Daniel. It had been three weeks since the last and only other discovery which turned out to be an ordinary piece of stone. Daniel quickly hurried over to where the man had yelled from inside the one of the pyramids. "Look it's similar to that writing you described as being on the building the Daynads had built in the woods beside the office building," continued the man. "Go get Justin over here to look at it. If he doesn't know what it says tell me."
The man hastily went to get Justin and soon brought him over to where the stone wall read:

We have planned a rebellion for tomorrow, but I believe the Daynads are onto us. We plan to get the Finas to help us. I just hope the Daynads don't find out or that the Finas take over the Daynads, and put us right back where we are now. As slaves.

Meanwhile in Roswell, New Mexico P.J. was finding some other discoveries. His discoveries weren't only of cover-ups, but also of translation. He had discovered the military cover-up, and the crash in the desert in Roswell were both true. He found out that Area 51 had been hiding tons of tablets with what appeared to be four types of languages. He was now trying to figure out the type they had also found in the building the Daynads had built.
Big Translation Sequence. Should Have Been In Wingdings. No Point Putting In. End Result Is:
The Kurons rebelled against us again today. We think the Finas are going to help them overthrow our power, and then back stab the Kurons. The only part we care about thought is that the Kurons and Finas are both trying to overthrow us. Frankly I believe we should make peace with the Finas to keep them from helping the Kurons, but the my citizens don't think that so I am forced to fight both of them.
End Translation
He immediately picked up his cell phone to call Mitchell to tell him about the discovery.
Ring! Ring! Mitchell quickly answered his cell phone. "Hey, Mitchell you know that writing on the wall of the building the Daynads were in?" P.J. asked. "Yeah what about it?" "I think I can translate it. I just translated an entire message here at the military base. It seems they are or were in a powere struggle of some sort." "Good. Fax your notes over, and I'll see if I can make out what the wall of the building said." P.J. faxed over the notes he had taken of what each symbol was over to the fax machine Mitchell had set up in the back of his truck. "Evidently you have the same bad handwriting. I might be able to figure out what it says though. I'll go back to the office, and translate the wall as soon as I can tell my team what to do while I'm gone." "Okay, while you do that I'll try to figure out what a slab in another language says." "Oh, while we're on the subject Daniel called a few hours ago saying he found a different language on one of the pyramids." "What did is look like?" "He said it had stuff like check marks, and question marks." "Okay, I have stones with that language on it. I'll do that one next. Oh, by the way I think it is the Daynad language that I translated because it mentions both the Kurons, and the Finas on it." "Okay, we better get back to work." Mitchell shut his cell phone off, and told the team he was in command of to call him on his cell phone if they found anything.
Meanwhile P.J. was pulling a slab, with the same language Daniel had found, out of its plastic protective cover, adn he was making a drawing of it in his notebook so he could start translating it.
While all this was going on Daniel had a nice thick pile of etchings of the language because it was the whole way down the hall the man had found it in. They were now entering a large chamber, and the writing had finally disappeared, but Daniel didn't think this was the end of the discoveries that would be made in the pyramid.
After a few hours P.J. had copied the whole message down in his notebook, and was ready to start translating it. This one read:
Should Be Webdings
We have failed again in defeating the Finas, but we have a new plan. This time we will wait for them to find the Slena or for the Daynads to find it, and then we will be the ones who will gain its power. He started once again by finding the symbol that was used most to see what symbol was e. This turned out to be e. So he put it in like he had done on the other message. This made it read: We have failed again in defeating the Finas, but we have a new plan. This time we will wait for them to find the Slena or for the Daynads to find it, and then we will be the ones who will gain its power.
End Webdings
It took Mitchell just a matter of about seven hours straight to get back to the office where he had put the remains of the Daynad building. When he got there he quickly went to his office, and pulled them out. He hastily found the one with the writing that read:
Should Be Wingdings
The Legend Of The Slena: Taken from the Finas in the human year 3000 B.C. it was originally planned to steal it for the purpose of using the power of destruction over enemies for ourselves, but never carried out.
End Wingdings Except A Few Letters
Using P.J.'s notes he was able to translate it to: The Legend Of The Slena: Taken from the Finas in the human year 3000 B.C. it was originally planned to steal it for the purpose of using the power of destruction over enemies for ourselves, but never carried out. "Hey P.J. your notes helped, but there are a few spots that aren't in your notes." "Can you make it out though?" "Sure it seems to be something about the Slena." "What does it say about it?" "It was originally the Finas, and was taken by the Daynads, but for some reason they couldn't use. It eventually fell into the hands of humans until the Daynads got it back." "Does it say what it does?" "Yeah it says it gives power of destruction over enemies." "We might have problems then huh." "Yeah the Kurons probably have its power." "The Daynads got it back though didn't they." "Yeah that's probably the only thing keeping the Kurons from totally destroying everything. If the Daynads have it, and the Kurons have its power I'd say they can't really use it." "That's good. Well, I need to get back to work on this for Daniel. Try to figure out the rest." Mitchell hung up his phone, and started trying to figure out the rest, and found out that L was L, S was S, O was O, : was :, B was B, and C was C, but he still wasn't sure about the exact year.

Chapter 9 Trinkins When Mitchell awoke he found that his cell phone was beeping extremely loud. He looked at his cell phone trying to figure out why it was beeping. When he looked at it he found that there were two alert messages on it. He hastily checked the messages. The first one was from Aaron telling him about the situation in South Carolina. The second he found was from Daniel, but it didn't have any kind of message on it.
Meanwhile P.J. had gotten up after a few hours of sleep, and after he ate a little breakfast had gotten back to work translating the message for Daniel. Since he had awoken he had figured out that v was v, f was f, and that g was g. This made his copy of the message read: We have failed again in defeating the Finas, but we have a new plan. This time we will wait for them to find the Slena or for the Daynads to find it, and then we will be the ones who will gain its power.
"I'll never surrender to you!!" had been Aaron's response to the aliens, but they didn't take no for an answer. Instead of killing them the weapon the Fina had been holding transported everyone it hit to a prison cell inside the ship, and the Fina had transported Aaron and several other members of his team to this prison cell in this way. Aaron still wasn't sure why the Fina had imprisoned them in the prison cell rather than killing them on the spot.
"Hey, has anyone seen Daniel since he told us to take a break?" asked Justin trying to find out what had happened to Daniel. Of course no one answered him because no one had seen him since he went into the pyramid. "Well, I'm going to see if I can find him then," he said heading into the pyramid.
Meanwhile Mitchell was off the ship he had been riding to Germany, but instead of getting off at Germany he stayed on until it returned to the U.S. He was now heading for the location Aaron had told him the aliens had landed.
Meanwhile all P.J. had to do was figure out a few more symbols, and he'd have the entire translation. Since the other symbols he had figured out o was o, r was r, s was s, b was b, and u was u. This made his copy of the message read like this: We have failed again in defeating the Finas, but we have a new plan. This time we will wait for them to find the Slena or for the Daynads to find it, and then we will be the ones who will gain its power.
It was several hours before Daniel awoke to find himself in a large, dark room of the pyramid. He hastily picked up his cell phone to see if he could call the rest of the team or not. It turned out he couldn't because he was so far down. He soon decided to go ahead, and explore the room he had fell into.
It wasn't long before Mitchell found the spot Aaron, and his team had been at, but he only found about six members of Aaron's team left on the beach where they had been.
"Why didn't you kill us when you had the chance?" Aaron said to one of the Finas when it came around to talk to them about something. "Your part of the agency that's out to destroy us. You know too much so we're going to hold you hostage to that Mitchell who's in charge of all of you. He'll have to shut down the agency to get you guys, but don't worry we'll kill you one way or the other," the Fina replied in a high toned voice.
P.J. was now nearly done. He had recently figured out W was W, S was S, , was ,, F was F, T was T, and that . was .. This made it read: We have failed again in defeating the Finas, but we have a new plan. This time we will wait for them to find the Slena or for the Daynads to find it, and then we will be the ones who will gain its power.
Daniel was trying to find the flashlight he had been carrying with him when he fell, but he could seem to find it so he found where the wall was, and started filling around it to figure out how big the room was or if there were any ways out of the room. He found there was no way out of the room. After he was done feeling around the walls he felt around the floor again. He was trying to find his flashlight once more. He soon found it near where he had landed from his fall. He immediately started to pick it up, but when he did he heard strange clicking sound, and jumped back a little.
Meanwhile P.J. had figured out the translation. Lately he had figured out p was p, D was D, and y was y. This made the message read: We have failed again in defeating the Finas, but we have a new plan. This time we will wait for them to find the Slena or for the Daynads to find it, and then we will be the ones who will gain its power. He hastily attempted to call Daniel on his cell phone, but all he got was that it was out of range. He quickly called Mitchell instead telling him about how he had finished the translation, and Daniel's cell phone being out of range. "I guess go ahead, and fax your notes over to him. Then send something about you couldn't reach him, but these are the translations." "Okay." P.J. hung up his cell phone, and faxed the translations to the fax machine in the back of Daniel's truck.
"Hey, we have a fax a man yelled when he saw the translations coming out." Everyone started over toward Daniel's truck as the translations came out. When they were out Tom pulled them out. "Hey, they're the translations P.J. was working on. He couldn't reach Daniel so he went ahead, and faxed them over," Tom said as he picked up the first etching, and started using the notes to translate it.
"Daniel!! Daniel!!!" Justin yelled. Where could he be there's no way out of this room? I wonder if he found a secret passage or something.
Using the notes P.J. had made Tom was able to quickly translate the first message they had found to: We have planned a rebellion for tomorrow, but I believe the Daynads are onto us. We plan to get the Finas to help us. I just hope the Daynads don't find out or that the Finas take over the Daynads, and put us right back where we are now. As slaves. Tom was forced to figure out on his own, and add to P.J.'s notes that I was I, ' was ', k was k, c was c, j was j, and A was A. He then went on to the next message they had made an etching of that read:
Should Be Webdings
The Trinkins were imprisoned in the this pyramid today. We're afraid the Daynads will do the same to us if we rebel any more, but we must follow through with the plan. The Trinkins were our only friends though I can't believe we may never see them again.
End Webdings
"Where are you taking us?" Aaron asked the Fina who had taken them out of their prison cell, and was taking them down the hall. "We figured while we still had you we'd go ahead, and torture you to find out how much you have really figured out."
Daniel started toward his flashlight again. This time he didn't hear the clicking sound as he picked up his flashlight. He immediately turned it on. When he did this he found hundreds of giant, purple beetle-like things all over the room. He wasn't sure how he hadn't felt them when he was feeling for a way out.
P.J. was now starting on the third language so they would be ready if they encountered it somewhere. He had already copied one of the messages he had of it into his notebook. It read:
Should Be Presswriter Symbols
We overthrew the Daynads finally with the stupid Kurons help. We had no need for their help, but we tricked them into helping us, and then we re-enslaved them. The best thing is we don't have to deal with the Trinkins anymore the Daynads over in the pyramid region imprisoned them last night before we attacked. They deserved it. He quickly found the letter used most to figure out what e was. It turned out to be e. He quickly substituted this in making his copy of the message read:We overthrew the Daynads finally with the stupid Kurons help. We had no need for their help, but we tricked them into helping us, and then we re-enslaved them. The best thing is we don't have to deal with the Trinkins anymore the Daynads over in the pyramid region imprisoned them last night before we attacked. They deserved it.
End Presswriter Symbols
"What are you?" Daniel asked toward the strange creatures. All he got back were a bunch of clicks. Darn they can't speak English like the Daynads and Finas.
I don't know how he could of gotten anywhere from here. I may as well go back outside and see if the rest of the team found any trace of him.
Using the notes Tom was able to translate the second message they had found to: The Trinkins were imprisoned in the this pyramid today. We're afraid the Daynads will do the same to us if we rebel any more, but we must follow through with the plan. The Trinkins were our only friends though I can't believe we may never see them again. "Anyone hear of Trinkins?!!" Tom yelled with no response.
Mitchell wasn't sure what to do. He was unsure where Aaron was, and all he had to go by were six of Aaron's team members who appeared to have slept through the entire incident.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Aaron yelled as the Finas and Daynads tortured him trying to get him to tell them what the agency knew.
P.J. was making speedy progress on the translation. So far he had figured out t was t, h was h, m was m, w was w, i was i, n was n, g was g, o was o, and d was d. This made his copy of the message read: We overthrew the Daynads finally with the stupid Kurons help. We had no need for their help, but we tricked them into helping us, and then we re-enslaved them. The best thing is we don't have to deal with the Trinkins anymore the Daynads over in the pyramid region imprisoned them last night before we attacked. They deserved it.
"You should give in to the torture human. It would be a lot easier," the Daynad that was torturing him said. "Never!!!!!!!!" Aaron yelled in response. "Well. It doesn't matter anyway we're going to contact your boss within a few minutes." "Take them back to the cell. They're not going to talk. Go ahead and contact this Mitchell character," the Daynad ordered the Finas and Daynads around him.
Ring!! Ring!! Ring!!, Mitchell's phone rang. He quickly picked it up hoping it was either Aaron or Daniel. When the voice started talking though he couldn't recognize it. It was too deep to be anyone he knew. "Who is this?" Mitchell asked into the phone. "It's the Daynad empire. Meet back at the beach where we took your friend in two hours, and we'll talk about giving him back." "What are you talking about?" "You thought we killed him and his team didn't you. Well we didn't and we'll talk about the terms that must be followed to get him back." "What are these terms?" "You'll see soon enough now won't you." The Daynad on the other side of the line hung up.
"So you still don't know where Daniel is huh." Justin said when he learned there was still no sign of Daniel. "No, but we got the translations from P.J. He said he couldn't reach Daniel on his cell phone for some reason," Tom said to Justin as he kept translating the message he was working on.
"What do you mean the Daynads kidnapped Aaron?" P.J. asked when Mitchell called him up telling him about the whole conversation with the Daynad. "They just called me a little while ago they want me to meet them here in fifteen minutes to talk about the terms of getting him back." "Do you believe them?" "I don't know, but I'm going to meet them one way or another. I still have the Daynad weapon with me. I'll use it if I have to." "I don't know if you should go by yourself though. I mean Jake is in Kentucky with his team. He couldn't get there in twelve minutes, but he might be able to get there in the middle of the meeting." "I guess I'll go call him." P.J. hung up and got back to work on the translation. Recently he had figured out r was r, v was v, and a was a.
Only five minutes left. I hope I'm not walking into a trap. Probably good thing Jake and his team is on the way. There was suddenly a rush of wind and Mitchell saw a ship, like the one he had seen near the office, come down and land on the ocean in front of him. The door opened soon afterwards revealing a Fina and a Daynad holding Aaron by the arms between them. Aaron wasn't even conscious and it appeared as if he was about to die already. "Get on-board. We don't want to be seen much less for you to have a group on the way to come kill us. We'll talk on the ship when we get in orbit." Mitchell quickly started up toward the door where he entered the ship. The door immediately shut behind him and the ship took off again. "Follow me! I'll take you to the room where we'll talk about the terms. Fluna, take his friend here back to the prison cell we don't want there to be any chance of funny business during the talks," the Daynad said to the Fina as he started down a hall followed by Mitchell.
There done. P.J. had figured out the translation. He had recently figured out l was l, s was s, y was y, f was f, p was p, b was b, u was u, d was d, D was D, W was W, K was K, . was ., T was T, , was ,, k was k, c was c, ' was ', and - was - which completed the translation making it read: We overthrew the Daynads finally with the stupid Kurons help. We had no need for their help, but we tricked them into helping us, and then we re-enslaved them. The best thing is we don't have to deal with the Trinkins anymore the Daynads over in the pyramid region imprisoned them last night before we attacked. They deserved it. Darn Mitchell is probably in that meeting with the Daynads by now guess I'll have to wait to tell him about the translation. Oh well I'll call him in about half an hour. In the mean time I'll start on the last language. P.J. quickly pulled down a message that had the final language on it that read: We shall free our best friends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punish us for this then so be it. He quickly copied it down into his notebook and got started translating it.
"What do you want for him?" "Oh, that is for the emperor to decide. He will be here shortly," the Daynad said heading out of the room as another Daynad walked into the room, and sat down in front of Mitchell." "So you are the one named Mitchell," the new Daynad said to Mitchell. "Yeah, that's me. What did you do to my friend?" "We just had to figure out what all you knew about us. He told us everything," the Daynad lied. "He never could take any pain." "Yes, clearly. Now lets get down to business. What we want from you would of been the shut down of the business, but you tried to endanger our safety. Not that it would of done any good." "Okay, so what is it now?" "Your life." When the Daynad said this Mitchell turned pale, but before he answered he pulled the Daynad gun out of his pocket and pointed it at the Daynad. "You know if you shoot me we will kill your friend." "Yeah, but it'll deal a good blow to the Daynad empire. An empire can't do as well when their emperor has been killed." "Fine shoot me then. Let your friend die along with his team." Mitchell quickly pulled back the trigger on the weapon and shot the Daynad. As soon as he shot the Daynad several Daynads and Finas rushed in weapons in hand. "You didn't think that was the real emperor did you. Only idiots would do that. It wasn't even a Daynad or a Fina. It was a Trinkin. We freed it in exchange for this. You actually probably did us a favor. Now we will have all of your lives. Get his friends and take them to the execution deck along with him."
"Well looks like Mitchell messed up. Now we all get to be executed," Aaron said as several Daynads led them away to the execution deck of the ship.
Beep!!!!! Beep!!!!!!!!!! BEEP!!!!!! Daniel's phone was beeping because two alarms were registered one from Aaron and one from Mitchell. He quickly checked to see what they were about but there weren't any messages with them. I still don't understand why the alarm gets through but the phone still won't work.
Well, it's been forty minutes I guess I'll take a break from the translation, and call Mitchell about the other translation. P.J. quickly picked his phone up and called Mitchell, but no one picked up the phone. Maybe he's still in the meeting I'll call him back later. In the mean time I'll continue translating. On the translation he had already figured out was e, and e was t making it read: eshallefrtteourebtstefritndsethteeuronsefromeslavtryebyethtehandseofethteeayn adseeefethtepunisheuseforethisethtnesoebeite That doesn't make sense there are too many es and the ts make it worse. There aren't any areas that make the word the much less spaces between words at all that I can tell.
"How are we supposed to get out of this one, Mitchell?" Aaron asked as they were being strapped to chairs for execution,"You messed up big time this time." The Daynads and Finas strapped in the last member of Aaron's team and one Daynad started at the last member of Aaron's team and began to fire going down the row of the members of the agency. He got closer and closer to Aaron and Mitchell.
Hmm, maybe there are symbols for a space. I guess I'll have to go back to the beginning and take the second most used symbol as e, and the third for t. So P.J. went back to the original message in his notebook.
"Nice job, Mitchell. You're a great leader. Now we get to die thanks to your great leadership." "At least I didn't tell them everything the agency knew." "I didn't either." The whole time Mitchell and Aaron argued the Daynad was getting closer and closer.
P.J. was now continuing on with finding e by counting for the second most common symbol. It turned out to be e. Substituting this in made it read: We shall free our best friends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punish us for this then so be it.
The Daynad was now only five archaeologists from Aaron, but right before he fired at the fifth one from Aaron a Kuron suddenly came in through the door distracting the Daynad. "Who let the Kuron in?" the Daynad yelled. The Kuron suddenly sped toward the Daynad spitting acid like the one that had taken the Slena. Whatever the acid touch suddenly started dissolving. "Don't just stand there fire at..." the Daynad said as the Kuron suddenly spit acid at him killing him instantly and leaving the gun laying on the floor of the ship. The Kuron just started spitting wildly and randomly as the Daynads attempted to kill it. The acid hit several Daynads as well as burning spots in the walls and restraints on the archaeologists. At one point the acid hit the archaeologist next to Aaron killing him. Soon afterwards Aaron found his restraints were dissolved enough to free him so he quickly got out of his seat and dove at the gun the Daynad had dropped and pointed it at the Daynads and Finas firing. Soon the Kuron had killed all the Daynads and Finas with little help from Aaron, and it turned toward the archaeologists and began aiming its acid at them, but it only hit and killed one before Aaron shot it with the Daynad weapon killing it. "Mind freeing us now," Mitchell said to Aaron. "I don't know how to though." "Didn't you pay attention when they put the restraints on us. There's a button in the back that should release them." Aaron quickly looked behind Mitchell's chair and found a button on the back of the restraint. He hastily pushed the button and the restraints were released. Before long Aaron had freed the remaining four other archaeologists as well.
P.J. thought he was on the right track now he had figured out t was t, and assuming the was a space he figured out h was h. This made the message read:We shall free our best frhends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punhsh us for thhs then so be ht. Darn it, i must be i too. So he put in i for the i where h didn't make sense. This made the message read: We shall free our best frhends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punhsh us for this then so be it.
"We were lucky again." "Not as lucky though there were thirty of us now there are only six." "We have to do something they'll surely send more people and we can't hold off for long with only one gun." "Maybe we can get to the control room and make the drivers land." "I guess it's worth a shot." So the small group of archaeologists left the room they had been nearly executed in and headed down the hall looking for the control room.
"Would you things at least stop looking at me strangely!" Daniel yelled at the strange creatures. He was starting to wonder if there was a way out.
P.J. was starting to get the hand of the translation now. He had recently figured out swas s, n was n, and o was o making the message read: We shall free our best frhends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punhsh us for this then so be it.
"Oh, great they're right behind us now," Mitchell said when he saw there were hundreds of Daynads and Finas chasing them. Aaron quickly started running backwards so he could fire at them too. "Quick get in that room everyone!" Mitchell yelled as they neared a door. They hastily got into the room. The room turned out to be quite small though. "Aaron whenever that door opens fire like crazy we'll get them before they can get very far into the room to get us." So when the door opened Aaron constantly fired at the aliens until after hours the door finally shut. "Good work, Aaron," Mitchell said. As he said this Aaron started to clutch his arm as he fell to the ground groaning. "I guess they hit my arm though." Mitchell checked over the wound on Aaron's upper arm and replied,"That's a pretty bad injury, but I think it'll be fine for now. "Lets get moving again. You need any help Aaron." "No, but take the weapon. You'll be able to fire better at them if they send more guys." So Mitchell took the gun as he helped Aaron to his feet. They immediately started looking for the control room again.
P.J. was still working on the translation. Lately he had figured out b was b or a in some cases, and l was l. When he substituted these in it made the message read: We shall free our best frhends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punhsh us for this then so be it.
"I'm starting to get worried about Daniel. Do you think he might of gone into one of the other pyramids?" Justin asked Tom. "I wouldn't think he would do that without telling us," Tom replied.
"I bet that's the control room they're guarding," Mitchell said looking around a turn that they had come to. "Good, got the gun ready ,Mitchell?" Aaron asked, "We can use the turn for cover from their blasts." Mitchell didn't even answer Aaron's question he just turned the corner and started firing until they fired back. When they did that he ducked back behind the turn. He did this repeatedly until there weren't anymore Daynads or Finas in front of the control room. They quickly ran up to the control room and opened the door to find a Daynad piloting the ship, and a Fina co-piloting. "The humans!!!!!!!!!!" the Fina said standing up with a gun in his hands, "We should have killed you guys when we got the chance." "Yeah well that's your mistake. We don't make mistakes. We'll kill you now," Mitchell said firing the gun, but before he did the Fina fired hitting Mitchell directly in the stomach as the Fina fell to the ground dead. "Mitchell!!!" Aaron said taking the gun back from Mitchell.
P.J. was now getting closer to figuring out the message. He had recently figured out u was u, r was r, and f was f or d in some cases, We shall free our best frhends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punhsh us for this then so be it.
"Land or I'll kill you like my friend killed your co-pilot." "You don't have the guts. If you kill me you will be stranded out here." "Maybe not but I will torture you to figure out how to drive it." The Daynad got up out of his seat and left the room with Aaron close behind. Mitchell was still lying unconscious on the floor of the control room bleeding severely from his stomach. The four archaeologists left in the room were doing the best they could to stop the bleeding, but nothing was working.
"Ahhh!!" the Daynad yelled as Aaron tortured him trying to get him to tell him how to drive the ship. "Fine, fine. It's quite simple really all you have to do is steer with the wheel like you were driving a human car. If you want to land you pull down the red lever. To take off you just push the red lever back up. To hover you pull the blue lever and a screen will pop up. You punch in how high you want to hover above the ground. I'm not telling you how to use the weapons or shields though." "Oh, yes you are," Aaron said torturing the Daynad more. "Fine, the green lever is the shields, and the yellow one is the weapons." "Thank you, but I think I'll kill you anyway." Aaron fired the gun at the Daynad's head killing him, and he started back to the control room.
P.J. was now nearly done. Lately he had found m was m, represented all punctuation, spaces, and capital letters, y was y, v was v, and p was p. This made the message read like this since he didn't know what the capitalized letters were: We shall free our best frhends the Kurons from slavery by the hands of the Daynads. If the punhsh us for this then so be it. Now all I have to do is fix my mistakes and I'll see about calling Mitchell again.
"So he told you how to drive the ship huh," one of the four archaeologists said to Aaron when he returned. "Yeah, I took notes too. Now lets land somewhere. Any requests." "It doesn't matter as long as it's near a hospital. Mitchell needs help quick." "We'll land just out of the city somewhere and take him in by car if we can find one to drive." Aaron quickly got into the Daynad's chair and started to land the ship slowly. He landed it on Myrtle Beach where they had been taken by the Daynads and Finas. Luckily it was still night time so no one saw them land. They hastily carried Mitchell to Aaron's truck and drove to the nearest hospital. Hmm, can't seem to get ahold of him. I guess I'll send the translations to everyone like I did with the first two. P.J. put his notes in a copier then made enough copies for each team to have one copy and faxed them over to every team.
"Hey, P.J. got two more languages finished." "Good. That means he's done." "Let me see them I can memorize them real quick probably. That's why I'm the linguist." Justin took the translations from Tom who had taken them out of the fax machine and started memorizing them in case he had to know a message real quick and didn't have the notes.
"You said he got shot right?" the doctor asked Aaron when he had examined Mitchell a little. "Yeah, why?" "That hole is to deep and large to be from some sort of gun. I'll see what I can do though. It doesn't look good."
Well that's every language I guess I'll translate the rest of these and see if I can figure out something about them.
"I'm going to look for Daniel some more guys okay," Justin said heading back to the pyramid. Where could he be? There's no way out of here besides the entrance. Justin once again checked the walls and started checking the floor as he did so the floor opened up like it had done when Daniel got on it.
"He's not doing so well. Do you want to see him?" the doctor said to the archaeologists. "I guess," Aaron said following the doctor to where Mitchell was on life support. "There's nothing left for me to do. You'll have to hope for a miracle now."
It was hours before Justin woke up to find Daniel and the giant beetle-like things. "You're up finally." "I guess I found you finally." "Yeah. Any idea what these things are. They can't speak English." "They must be Trinkins. We found out about the Trinkins in the messages. P.J. finished all the translations." "Well, can you find a way to speak with them then." "Yeah, I memorized the translations."
Justin Writes In Presswriter Symbols
Justin quickly wrote: Are you the Trinkins? in the sand one the floor of the pyramid. "What's that supposed to mean?" "It means are you the Trinkins?" The beetle-like things immediately wrote in the sand in response. They wrote: Yes, we're the Trinkins. We were imprisoned here long ago by the Daynads. "They say they're the Trinkins and were imprisoned here by the Daynads long ago." End Presswriter Symbols

Chapter 10 Friends at Last?
Justin Should Write To Trinkins In Presswriter Symbols And Trinkins Respond In Presswriter Symbols
"We've been lucky so far. I guess our luck has run out. What do you think we should do?" "All we have to do is pull him off life support and he's dead." "We can't let him suffer." "You don't have to decide yet." "We'll wait a little while I guess." They went back into the waiting room to decide whether or not to take Mitchell off life support. "Go move the ship," Aaron whispered to one of the other archaeologists," It's almost morning we don't want anyone to see it." The archaeologist quickly left to move the ship while the others talked over what to do with Mitchell.
"Ask them if they know a way out of here." Justin quickly drew: Do you know a way out of here? The Trinkins responded by drawing: We told you we were imprisoned here. Of course there is no way out. "They say they don't know of a way out." "We'll just have to climb out the way we came then." Daniel quickly started trying to climb up the slope that had caused him to fall into this room, but he kept sliding back down before long. "There has to be a way to climb up that," Daniel said pointing to the slope. The Trinkins quickly drew in the sand again. They drew: What did he say? In response Justin drew: He says there must be a way up the slope. The Trinkins immediately erased Justin's response and drew: There are some buttons in the next room , but we can't reach them. Maybe you can though. "They say there are some buttons in the next room. Maybe one of them will open an exit." "I couldn't find another room though." Justin quickly drew: How do we get to the next room. In response the Trinkins drew: You just hit the section of the wall with the picture of a Daynad on it , and the door to the next room will open. Justin quickly found the spot on the wall with a picture of a Daynad and pressed it. As the Trinkins had said a door opened leading to another room with approximately fifty buttons on the opposite wall. "Well I guess we have a lot of work to do," Justin said when he saw the buttons.
"I guess we should take him off life support." "I guess it's decided. Lets go tell the doctor" Before they got to the doctor the doctor came over. "We've decided." "No, before you tell me you should know something. The wound is healing rapidly now for some reason. Come look." The archaeologists followed the doctor to where Mitchell was on life support to find the injury was nearly completely healed. "Let me see your arm, Aaron," one archaeologist whispered to Aaron. Aaron immediately lifted his sleeve to where the injury should of been, but instead there wasn't even a scar. The doctor started over to Mitchell and said," We should be able to take him off life support now. At this rate he should be able to leave the hospital by five." The doctor promptly took the life support systems off Mitchell as Aaron and the other archaeologists headed back to the waiting room.
"Maybe the Trinkins know which button to push." "I can find out." Justin quickly drew: Do you know which button might get us out of here? The Trinkins responded: No, but they normally used red buttons to signify up or down. Maybe one of the red buttons will make a way to go up the slope. "They say that the Daynads usually used red buttons to signify up or down, and that one of the red buttons might make a way up the slope." "That only narrows it down to about twenty." "I guess we'll just have to try all the red ones then," Justin said pushing the first red button.
"Why don't they want to kill all of us?" "Of course maybe they're keeping us in case they need us still to gain the power of the Slena." "I guess, but the Kurons have the power of the Slena you'd think that they'd need three Kurons who are friends now." "That's it the Kurons don't make friends so they have the power, but the ceremony still requires humans."
"This better be the right button. I'm sick and tired of nearly being hit with stuff," Daniel said pushing the last red button. Instantly there was a loud clicking sound from the Trinkins. One Trinkin near Justin drew: You did it we are forever in your debt. After drawing this the Trinkin rushed into the other room. "What did it say?" Daniel asked turning around from the panel of buttons. "We did it and they're forever in our debt." "Good we need a friend in this war."

Chapter 11 Battle "What in the world? What are those things?" an archaeologist yelled when he saw the Trinkins. "I know we're in Egypt, but what did we do to deserve a plague of giant beetles." "Hey, Daniel and Justin are with them," one archaeologist said heading for the entrance to the pyramid where Daniel and Justin were. "What are these things?" he asked when he got to them. "Tom, meet the Trinkins," Justin said in response. "Aaron, you have a call," the person at the registration desk said holding the phone up. Aaron quickly went over to the desk to answer the phone. When he got to it he found that it was from the archaeologist who had went back to the ship. "I found our cell phones. Mitchell's has tons of messages on it." "Good, we should be at the beach in a few hours," Aaron said handing the phone back to the person at the desk.
"So those are the things the Daynads imprisoned." "Yeah. We freed them. They say they're forever in our debt too." "I'm going to call Mitchell about this," Daniel said picking up his phone.
Ring!! Ring!! Ring!! Mitchell's getting yet another call. I better answer it. The archaeologist who had gone back to the ship thought answering Mitchell's cell phone. "Hello." "Mitchell." "This isn't Mitchell it's John." "Oh, why do you have Mitchell's phone?" "Long story. I'll give him the message as soon as possible though." "Well, tell him that we have found the Trinkins and they say they're forever in our debt. In other words tell him we finally have a friend." "Okay," John said hanging up.
"Hey guys did you get the ship," Mitchell said quietly walking into the waiting room. "Yeah," Aaron said, "We need to get back to the beach so John can land it again." After saying this he quickly lead everyone out the door towards the beach.
Meanwhile trouble was stirring in Germany. Mitchell's team had spotted a ship along with hundreds of other citizens of Germany.
Mitchell, Aaron and the other three archaeologists arrived back at the beach right as John was landing the ship to pick them up. "Hurry up and get in here, Mitchell, your phone is ringing nonstop," John said as the door to the ship opened. Mitchell immediately broke into a run to the ship followed by the others. As soon as everyone was in the ship John closed the door and took off while Mitchell found where John had put his cell phone which was ringing. He quickly picked it up. "Hello," Mitchell quickly said. "Mitchell, we've got problems. They're not even trying to hide their ships." "Who is this?" "Bob you better get back over here as soon as possible." The line suddenly went dead. "How fast can this thing go, Aaron?" "I'm not sure." "I'll take my truck to Germany. You pick Daniel, P.J. and everyone up and meet me there. I think there's going to be trouble." Aaron immediately started to land the ship back on the beach. "Now right after I get out you have to close the door and take off before anyone can see the ship," Mitchell said as the ship landed and he opened the door. He immediately ran to his truck and got in it as the ship started taking off again.
"Start packing up guys I just got a call from Mitchell we're heading for Germany. Seems his team spotting a large number of ships there!!" Daniel yelled to his team right after getting off of his cell phone," Justin tell the Trinkins Mitchell wants them to come along too."
"I'll pack the messages up and be ready for Aaron," P.J. said hanging up with Mitchell and already starting to pack the messages and other supplies up. He finished right as he saw the ship come down. The door quickly opened and he got in. As soon as he was in the door to the ship closed and the ship took off again.
A few hours later the ship came down in Egypt, where Daniel and his team was, just as it did in Roswell. Daniel, his team, and the Trinkins got aboard the ship. The ship immediately closed the door and took off. Inside it was extremely crowded. "Okay, Aaron, that's everyone let's get to Germany as fast as we can," someone yelled to Aaron. Once the person had said this Aaron pulled a lever and the ship lurched forward and sped away.
It was just a few minutes before Aaron started to slow the ship down. He quickly landed it and everyone got out to meet Mitchell's team, but they got out to find the team strewn across the ground dead. "Start cleaning the bodies up. We'll see if we can find the ships they were talking about," Aaron said taking Daniel, Justin, P.J., and several others to search for the ships, and left the others to clean up the bodies of Mitchell's team.
"What do you mean they're all dead?" Mitchell yelled into his cell phone. "Whoever's ships they were must of killed them all," Aaron said back to Mitchell. "Well, I'm almost there. Try to find those ships." "We're trying, but I'm afraid they might of already left." "Keep trying. Bye," Mitchell said as he hung up.
"Hey, Justin, Mitchell wants you to get back over there and see if you can teach the Trinkins to write on paper so we don't have to depend on something they can dig in to," Aaron said to Justin.
A few hours later Mitchell drove up. "Any signs of the ships that did this?" Mitchell asked Aaron as he came walking over from where he had been searching. "No, but if they want us bad enough they'll be returning for us." "I have taught the Trinkins how to write though," Justin said when he noticed Mitchell had arrived. "Good. Ask the Trinkins if they know how to get to the Daynad homeworld." Justin immediately did as Mitchell had told him to do by writing down: Do you know where the Daynads live. The Trinkins quickly wrote back: Yes. "They say they do know where it is." "Then, ask them if they can take us there." Justin hastily wrote down: Can you take us there? In response the Trinkins wrote down: Yes. "They say they can." "Good, then Aaron you take five Trinkins and ten men to the Daynad home world. Don't worry about landing though. This is just to examine their planet so we can develop a plan. Get moving. Justin, tell the Trinkins about the plan." Justin quickly did so while Aaron gathered ten men and headed for the ship. Five Trinkins soon joined him there. "Here are the translations so you can tell what they're saying. They said you have to drive because they can't drive the ship even though they know how because of how they crawl rather than walk. So you'll have to be able to read their directions as quick as you can," Justin said handing Aaron the translations of the Trinkin written language. "You better get going in case the ships do come back," Mitchell said. Aaron and the ten men, and the five Trinkins all got aboard the ship. Soon afterwards the door closed and the ship took off.
Thanks to the high speed of the ship and the directions from the Trinkins it was only a few days before Aaron was able to hover above the ground of the Daynad homeworld. It also wasn't long before a Daynad ship spotted them and recognized that it was the ship the agency had taken. They immediately started firing. Aaron quickly reached for the green lever to activate the shields before the other ship hit them, but before he could a Trinkin suddenly handed him a message reading: You have been misled if you think that is the lever that activates the shields. Pull the orange lever that is hidden behind the wall over there, and that will activate the shields. Aaron quickly translated it to find he had been misled by the Daynad who had told him how to drive the ship. It turned out that the green lever didn't activate the shields, but a orange one behind the wall did. So he went over to the wall and lifted off the panel that the Trinkins said it was behind and pulled the orange lever. As soon as he did the ship blew up.

Chapter 12 Secrets Revealed "Mitchell!! Mitchell!!!" Daniel yelled as he ran towards Mitchell with his cell phone in his hand. "What?" Mitchell asked when Daniel got to him. "I was trying to make the daily check in with Aaron and his team, and the operator came on saying the number no longer existed." "Darn it what could of happened to them? That means we probably lost the ship too. How are we even going to go and check if they're okay?" A couple minutes passed before he said anything else, but then he said,"Justin, ask the Trinkins if they know where we can get another ship." Justin quickly wrote what Mitchell had told him to and the Trinkin wrote back: Yes there is one buried near the pyramids. "They say there is one near the pyramids." "Then lets get over there," Mitchell said getting Daniel, P.J., and several other men to go with them. After he had gotten all the men he wanted to go he got them all transportation for the trip and they left for the Giza Plateau. It was several hours before they got there, but when they did the Trinkins told them where to dig and they started digging. It was only a few days before they found the ship the Trinkins had said was buried there. They immediately lifted it out of the hole they had dug to get to it (with the help of some equipment). As soon as the ship was lifted onto the level ground they fixed the holes they found in the sides and prepared the ship for take off. Once they had it completely repaired Mitchell told Justin, Daniel, P.J., and twenty other men to come with him as well as three Trinkins to the Daynad planet. The remaining men and Trinkins he told to go back to Germany and wait for further information. As they were boarding the ship Daniel suddenly noticed Mitchell had a Daynad gun in his pocket. "Why do you have that thing?" Daniel whispered when he saw Mitchell had the gun. "I have reason to believe we're being tricked. Even if we aren't it might come in handy," Mitchell whispered back as he got into the pilot's seat and closed the door. It wasn't long before he made the ship take off and was having the Trinkins write the instructions to the planet to Justin who told him what to do.
It was only a few days before Mitchell was able to let the ship hover just a few feet above the ground. "Are you trying to get us caught or something?" Justin suddenly said when he saw how close to the ground Mitchell was letting the ship hover. "You'll see what I'm doing soon enough." As Mitchell was saying this a ship found them and began firing. As he went for the green lever a Trinkin handed Justin a note like the one the Trinkin had handed Aaron, and Justin told Mitchell what it said. "That's okay I'm sure this one fires the weapons then and that'll be good too," Mitchell said as he pulled the green lever. Right when he pulled the lever a shot from the other ship hit the ship, but the shields had been activated so it only damaged the shields a little. "That's what I thought," Mitchell said pulling the orange lever which fired at the other ship which apparently didn't have it's shields up because it blew up immediately. Once the ship was destroyed Mitchell turned around and pointed the Daynad gun at the Trinkins. "Thought you could trick us huh. You're no more a friend than the Daynads or the Finas or even the Kurons," as Mitchell said this he fired the gun at each of the Trinkins killing them one by one. As soon as he was done killing the Trinkins Mitchell landed the ship on the surface of the planet. "I hope it's safe to go out without special clothing," Mitchell said as he opened the door and got out. He was soon followed by everyone else in the ship. "Good we can breathe the air here at least," Mitchell said taking a deep breath. "What are we doing?" P.J. asked," I thought we were just going to complete Aaron's mission. "No, we're going to end this. I'm tired of having them kill us. We're going to destroy their ships. It'll only hold them for a while but it'll be better than nothing." "Where are their ships, though?" Justin asked looking around for a sign of the ships. "They're over there I saw them before we landed," Mitchell said pointing to a spot in front of them and starting to walk towards it. It was only a few minutes before they saw an area where ships were covering all the red sand on the land. They broke into a run when they saw the group of ships and they soon got to them. "Now how should we destroy them?" Daniel asked when they got to the ships. "I guess just start tearing them to pieces where ever you can," Mitchell answered. When he said this everyone found a ship and tried to find anything to tear off the ship, but they couldn't find anything. "That's it!!" Mitchell yelled suddenly shooting the ship, he had been trying to destroy, with the Daynad gun. The gun immediately caused a hole to appear in the side of the ship exposing wires. He quickly tore the wires out and got in the ship to see if it would still take off. When he tried this the ship didn't take off and immediately after he had gotten out of the ship smiling, because the ship didn't take off, the ship blew up. "Everyone, I'm going to pass around the gun so you can destroy your ships too," Mitchell said giving the gun to the guy next to him, but as he was handing it to the guy it was knocked out of his hands and he was grabbed. When he turned around he found he was being held by a Fina. As he turned back around to warn everyone else he noticed they had also been grabbed by Finas. It wasn't long before the Finas had led them to an underground facility and had them locked up in a small prison cell. "What do you plan to do to us this time?!!!" Mitchell suddenly yelled to the last Fina who was leaving. The Fina paused for a while then said,"You're scheduled for an execution at 12:00 tomorrow," the Fina answered eventually. "Again, don't you idiots learn," Mitchell said to the Fina, but the Fina just turned and left. "Now, what are we going to do?" Justin asked. "I don't know this time but we have about twenty-four hours to figure something out." Mitchell answered. So everyone started trying to think of ways to get out.
Four hours later no one had figured out a way to get out, but Daniel suddenly blurted out, "The Hall of Records." "What's that have to do with anything?" Mitchell asked. "That's what we needed to be looking for on the Giza Plateau." "That doesn't do us any good, though, since we're going to die in twenty hours," a man yelled. "He's right we need to get out of here, and fast." As they were saying this a Fina suddenly came up. "Ready to be executed." "But it's only about six," Mitchell said surprised. "A Fina day only lasts four and a half hours so it's already 12:00." "Darn, I should of known that we didn't have twenty-four hours," as Mitchell said this more Finas came and they were led to a small room with a table in the center and chains on the walls. "What no chairs this time?" P.J. said. "Those are only for ships and temporary buildings," the lead Fina answered as Mitchell was led to the table while the others were led to the chains. As Mitchell was chained to the table he suddenly asked," Just one question why pretend to be Daynads, Kurons, and Trinkins to trick us?" "So you did figure it out." "Well I had my suspicions, but when you turned up on the Daynad home world I was sure of it. You still didn't answer why you kept tricking us like that, though. "That's for you to figure out." "What's it matter we're all going to die or are you going to let us free again." "What do you think this is a human mystery story where the thief tells everything when they capture the detective, and then the detective gets away. We only let you go once, though. You just got lucky that the only ship in the area was a diplomatic ship that only had guns that have to kill in the first shot or the wound heals." As the Fina finished saying this Mitchell got fully restrained and the Finas stepped away from the table. "Okay, activate it," the Fina Mitchell had been talking to said. Suddenly Mitchell found himself surrounded in a torrent of color.
From the wall Daniel suddenly saw Mitchell go into a trance of some sort. "Mitchell!!!!" Daniel suddenly yelled out. As Daniel said this Mitchell abruptly came out of the trance. "Darn it, they woke him up," a Fina said going over to the table. He unlocked Mitchell and was about to chain him to the wall with the others when Mitchell just fell on the floor. The Fina started to pick him back up, but before he did another Fina said, "Leave him. Get the one that awakened him." So the Fina dropped Mitchell and headed over to Daniel and unlocked him from the wall. He quickly started taking Daniel to the table but before he could Daniel suddenly kicked the Fina's leg making him trip. In response to Daniel's actions there was a sudden eruption of gunfire from the surrounding Finas. Daniel was quickly hit and fell to the ground, but in the commotion several others were hit as well. A Fina quickly headed over to the Fina who had fallen and helped him to his feet. "You have to be more careful or they'll get away again. Now get those that got killed in the crossfire out." The fallen Fina hastily went over and freed the archaeologists who were slump over in the chains. As he let them out he let them slump on to the floor like Mitchell and Daniel were, but as he let one go the man grabbed him and kicked him in the stomach. Again there was an eruption of gunfire, but the archaeologist used the Fina he had grabbed as a shield as he ran over and took a gun from one of the Finas. He instantaneously started firing the gun at the remaining Finas until there weren't any left. Then he got the keys from the one he had kicked, and began freeing the others. When all the archaeologists were free they all took weapons from the fallen Finas except for the one who had faked being dead. He went over and picked up Mitchell who was still unconscious. Right before they left Daniel suddenly said, "Don't forget me," as he got up and fell back down. "You're alive." "Yeah, barely. I got hit in my leg and my arm." "Looks like more than that from how bad you're bleeding. Hey, P.J. help me here." P.J. hurriedly came over and helped the other man help support Daniel. "Okay, let's go," the man said when they had Daniel supported on their shoulders. They immediately started off the way they thought they had come. It wasn't long before P.J. realized they were going the wrong way. "How do you know we're going... the wrong way," Daniel said stopping out of pain in the middle. "Because we should of passed the prison cells by now, and instead we're..." P.J. stopped signalling for them to hide as a couple Finas came by. They all quickly hid in a room nearby. "As I was saying we found rooms occupied by... What are you doing!!" P.J. suddenly yelled when he realized one of the archaeologists was looking through a stack of papers on the vacant desk. "I'm seeing what I can figure out about these guys, but these papers aren't in any of the languages we translated." "They must of tricked us again, or the others might be encoded," P.J. said looking over at the papers the archaeologist had been looking at. "Come on, the coast is clear let's go."
