At first blush, it seemed like a simple plan. Take Procyon to meet Ida. Straightforward, simple, logical. Yet even as her paws carried her across another roof Illyria had to stop for a moment to pause her current train of thought. Would it be okay to just show up at the apartment with another senshi in tow? Illyria was probably eighty percent certain that her bonded partner would have been surprised, but what would the other emotions be? That was what caused the Mauvian to fidget. Maybe it would be better if she gave Procyon a place to wait nearby while she fetched the Orchid Senshi for a meeting that was close to home, but also on neutral ground. Would that be better?

Anxiety flashed across her face before she sat her rump down on the rooftop before waiting for her guest. It didn't seem like it was the easiest time for the newest senshi but Illyria had faith in him already. Procyon was smart and observant and there were moments where she had been pleasantly surprised by the young senshi. Shaking her head she took in the city skyline before meowing encouragement to Procyon, "we're close to our destination. That being said, I think it'd be wiser if we don't show up like unexpected company. I can quickly go explain the situation and meet you back here, or we can meet in another location ... but I want to make sure you are okay with this before I go and tell Ida about you."

It had been a bit of a trek but at least he was pretty much dried off at this point as he followed along. He'd talked a bit about his homeworld, not too much yet as things were still fuzzy here and there. Exhaustion made things a bit rough when it came to remembering.

Stopping as Illyria paused, he squatted down before plopping the rest of the way onto the roof. "I understand, I can wait here and try looking over this device you gave me. I also think I need a break as well, I'm still very tired." A low growl came from his stomach as he started combing his hand through his hair to try and get it managed a bit better now that it was dry. "These buildings are so tall, it's almost like they were trying to reach for the stars in the sky when they were building them." Looking up as he spoke, it was nice seeing a sky full of life again.

"If I need to move or meet them somewhere else, you can contact me through this right?" Pulling the phone back out, he held it up for a moment before setting it back down to continue working on making himself a bit more presentable. There was only so much he could do given the circumstances but if Illyria was going to help him he wanted to make a good impression on their friend as well.

Illyria watched as the phone that she had just recently given to Procyon appeared in the senshi's hand and there was a moment before she made the connection to what he had been asking, and why. Her gaze softened as she watched with a little bit of mysticism before she promptly nodded. There probably hadn't been any intentional reasoning behind why humans built buildings so tall except for the fact that as the population grew, so to did the need for larger multi-story apartment buildings. Just buildings in general it seemed. Her gaze went back to the phone in Procyon's hands and she gave a soft sound of agreement.

"I think you should look over the device although there is a button on the screen that you should try to avoid hitting until its absolutely necessary. It's a general style signal for help, those that call this planet home, call it a SOS signal. It'd broadcast on any senshi's phone that you are in danger and need help."

Illyria paused before grimacing, "it'd bring a lot of attention down to this area of town which is what we don't really want. As for the questions: yes, I can use my phone to contact you if moving is necessary but I don't think it will be. At least I hope not."

Peering down at the apartment building that Ida called home Illyria gave herself a moment of figuring out just what she'd be telling her bonded partner about Procyon before returning to Procyon's side, "I'll go now and fetch Ida. Wait here and hopefully I'll be back before you know it."

With that Illyria raced away from the senshi before she gathered her momentum and leaped over to the next ledge before dashing across that roof and clearing the distance to the her next target. Five minutes later she sat panting on the balcony that was access to Orah's place. Her gaze took in the door before she gave one last activation of her glamour to at least access the handle to open the way to Orah's abode before sniffing at the interior and phasing back to her cat mode.

Slinking inside, Illyria took in the stillness before padding towards Orah's room (and by extension hers) searching for her bonded. Her voice was soft as she gave voice to what she hoped Orah would be okay hearing.

"Orah are you home? I think I found someone you may want to meet. I think it's another senshi like Selinur. One that's not from here."

It was rare that Orah got a moment to just... do nothing. Work was ramping up at the hospital as they went into the holiday season and the number of patients increased. If she wasn't at work, then she was usually patrolling, which often took hours of her time as she wove back and forth over the areas she'd chosen to protect. Then there was cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and sleeping to fill her time. The few spans of time when she was truly free were precious... and in one of these moments, she'd tried to sit down to read a new book. Sadly, the sleepies had caught up with her when she settled down in her soft chair with a warm blanket and a hot cup of tea. The dark haired woman had nodded right off, book open in her lap.

She only stirred when she heard her name called, lifting her head to blink blearily about.

"Illyria?" She called as she rubbed her eyes, swallowing back a yawn. The call hadn't been urgent... but now that she thought about it, the small guardian hadn't been home when she got back. Orah wondered what she'd been doing as she tucked a slip of paper into her book and set it aside, letting her legs down to rest on the floor.

"Meet someone?" Her brain was finally catching up as the grogginess faded. "Um, sure. Let me just get dressed..."

She probably could have just powered up in her pajamas, but a nagging voice said 'what if?'. If she had to power down outside of the apartment, she was sure she'd be happier if she had real clothes on, especially in this chill.

"Are they close, or will we have to go far to meet them?" She asked as she pulled on a thick sweater.

There had been a time, once long ago, in which Illyria would have been hesitant to prowl around the apartment looking for Orah but times had most certainly changed in the fact that she definitely felt more at home here now than ever before. Hearing Orah's reply to her had the sleek feline start a low purring before she followed the sound of her bonded partner's voice before she neatly sat her rump down on the ground as she heard shuffling from inside the room that was Orah's (and hers by extension) before making out the words that Orah was replying with.

As she rounded the corner to see the thick sweater being pulled on Illyria wound gently around Orah's feet before she hooked a paw onto one leg and stretched upwards before replying back, "I didn't know if you wanted company coming over as their powered self so I asked if he would wait a few rooftops over. I gave him a phone so if there's trouble, he can get help ... but I think he needs more than just my limited knowledge on senshi like Selinur that perhaps you could help out with. His name is Procyon. He gives of a vibe of not being from here which is why I think he is like Selinur is. He also looks unusual for an earth-awakened senshi."

Illyria sighed before she glanced in the direction that she knew she had come from. Procyon had said that he would wait for her to return with Ida, but what if some new enticing allurement had distracted him.

"I met him earlier tonight and after he warmed up to the idea of being whisked away to Earth it was strangely easy to talk with him. Of course he initially thought that cats are the dominant species here. I sadly had to correct him on that assumption though. I've promised I'd help him out and I think the best thing now is for another senshi to connect with him."

Orah listened as she changed into a pair of leggings, sweeping Illyria up in her arms to carry her to the door where her boots were. The mauvian was deposited on the counter as she added a winter jacket and hat, tucking apartment keys into the pocket.

"A senshi like Selinur?" That was interesting. Selinur and Fang were non-human senshi born on other worlds. How they got to Earth and what had brought them here was still a mystery to her, but they came with a lot of hurdles to overcome. "I can understand why you want me to meet with him. I have to admit that I don't know everything about this new kind of senshi, but I will definitely do everything I can to help. Maybe later we can introduce him to Selinur, and maybe Fang? I think that could be a lot of help."

She offered her shoulder and the warmth of her hood to her bonded as she headed for the balcony doors. Cold air rushed in around them as she slipped through it, closing it tight behind them. Out in the chill, open air, she dug through her pocket for her henshin pen and took some deep, fortifying breaths. It always felt easier out here... without walls around her. It took just a little of her tension away and she raised her pen over her head, calling out her henshin phrase to activate the magic.

When the storm of orchid petals cleared, Ida stood with Illyria on her shoulder.

"Which way?" She said as she stretched her senses, feeling the soft ping of a basic senshi somewhere nearby.

"Oh," was the soft exclamation given to Orah's statement about not knowing everything about the special type of senshi that seemed to keep cropping up. It was a bit of a letdown to the feline but she brightened instantly at the next point that Orah would be willing to help out as much as possible. Procyon needed that kind of positive interaction, Illyria was sure of it. "I think that Procyon needs whatever assistance we can help obtain for him. I believe that meeting Selinur and Fang will help him see that he's not alone, that there are others like him out there. Probably more than we know about too."

The last line was delivered with a wistful tone but also a cautious one. Having been picked back up after being deposited on the counter top did Illyria nestle closer into the juncture of Orah's shoulder before carefully positioning herself into the available hood in order to be a little more comfortable on the journey back to where she had left Procyon. At Ida's question of which direction to to take Illyria's own senses picked up the basic energy signature that was, thankfully, remaining static before pointing a paw in the direction that needed to be travelled. Her voice was steady as it floated into Ida's ear from where she rested, "I left him a few rooftops over. It's the signature that is remaining stationary. I didn't know if having him move around to meet up with us was better than staying in one spot and going to him. I did leave a senshi phone with him though."

Illyria's gaze flicked to the side as she also remembered what she had promised to construct for Procyon before giving a soft sigh. She wanted to keep her word to help the wayward senshi acclimate as much as possible while he was on Earth. A device that would disguise his true appearance would definitely come in handy.

Ida nodded as she reached up to smooth a hand over Illyria's soft side, steadying the cat in her hood as she gathered herself and jumped. They cleared the distance between their building and the next to land on the roof, a pause there to reorient them before she moved again. As they moved, she tracked the signature she could feel on her inner senses, feeling it grow stronger the further they went. It didn't take long, as Illyria had said, to find the lone figure of another senshi waiting for them.

Even knowing the few aliens that she did know, the appearance of this one took her by surprise. So pale... like all the color had left them, save for some splashes about their uniform. Ears that sat on top of their head, a little like what Fang had.

"Is that your friend?" Ida asked in an aside to her cat, slowing her approach to a comfortable, non-threatening walk, fingers playing with Illyria's fur.

"Hello!" She called in a louder voice, lifting an arm to wave.

It was more of a feeling at first, that someone was coming. Procyon had managed to get his hair looking much more managed and back into the beads that held it neatly out of his face.

Looking around, he saw another person and what he thought might be Illyria riding on their shoulder. Perking up, he waved back excitedly. Picking up the phone he'd been given, he tucked it away since he wouldn't need it right now and he had to move.

"Oh! Hello!" Struggling a bit, he managed to get back up off the ground and patted some of the grime off of his uniform. It was a clumsy motion as he tried to get both sides with just one arm. It was the best he could do given the situation but he was excited to meet one of the senshi from this planet.

As Ida positioned her to sit securely in the hood of her fuku Illyria simply hoped that Procyon had indeed remained where she had left him. It wouldn't have done well for the senshi to have wandered off when there were still so many unknown dangers that could snag and drag the unknowing down. Her heart beat a little more frantically in her chest before she made the conscious effort to settle down. It had not been a very long passage of time so there wasn't much that could have happened to her new senshi friend, was there? As they headed out into the night Illyria used her own senses to pinpoint other auras that could have spelled possible trouble. Finding nothing eased her more into enjoying the brief trip as a passenger. As Ida landed on the roof and Procyon came into view Illyria heard Ida's question meant for her ears alone and she nodded in response, "that's him."

Extricating herself from the hood in which she had travelled in did Illyria pad carefully around Ida's shoulder before leaping down onto the rooftop surface as Procyon rose to dust the grime smears off his uniform. The Mauvian sat between Ida and Procyon before clearing her throat, "Ida this is Procyon. Procyon, this is Eternal Ida of Orchids."

She felt bad for not having inquired as to what Procyon might have been the senshi of but there was opportunity here for both Ida and Procyon to interact with each other to get the pertinent information across.

It was obvious from first glance that this senshi was not human. The pale skin and feathery ears gave that away, which mean this was definitely one of those ancient senshi from another world. Another newcomer... most likely just as lost as Selinur and Fang had been when they first arrived.

"Procyon. Its nice to meet you." Ida said as she came to stand with him and Illyria. Part of her wondered if she should offer a hand to shake... but did his people do that as greeting, or something else? Would it be rude to offer? It was impossible to tell.

"Illy said she thought you might be a senshi who isn't from Earth. Do you know how long you've been here? Me and Illyria are happy to help you out with whatever you need. I know its probably been a huge and scary transition for you, but we can at least try to answer some of your questions. And if you'd like, you're welcome to stay with us for a while, until you figure out what you want to do."

The apartment was going to be a little crowded with four people and three cats, but they'd make do. There was no way Ida was going to turn away someone if they had no where else to go.

Taking in the woman that Illyria had brought, he was lost in all the gorgeous colors of her outfit for a moment before nodding and offering his only hand in greeting and a smile.

"Yes Miss Ida, Procyon of Liminality would be my full title but it's a lot to say I feel like." Perking up at the nickname they mentioned, he wondered if the guardian cat would be alright with him calling her that as well.

"I'm not sure how long it's been but I've been staying around the water since it's really really dry on this planet. It's also really cold..." He'd warmed up a bit with the blanket Illyria had given him but he still really didn't feel well after it all. "If that would be alright? Miss Illyria mentioned a place where I could warm up and maybe rest or at least help with that. I really don't know anything about this place yet but it seems so lively." It was a jarring change from where he had been but at least he was managing alright so far and had already maybe one, if not two, friends.

Illyria watched the interaction between Ida and Procyon in silence. She didn't wish to interject at all and disrupt the conversation. The fact that Ida was willing to take in Procyon meant that, at least for a little while, he'd be taken care of and not left to flounder about. Her nose scrunched up in thought before she dismissed the direction her thoughts were going. This wayward senshi, from another world, needed help certainly to get acclimated to life on Earth. But that did not make him, say, a pet. Rising to her paws did Illyria pad to close the distance between herself and Procyon before twining around the young man's legs before arching up on one of her passes. Make no mistake about it, even though she hadn't awakened him, Illyria was already viewing Procyon as one of her senshi that she needed to look after. Already she had provided him with a phone and she would have to work on a device that concealed his more unusual aspects of his senshi form, but hopefully it wouldn't take very long to cobble something together.

A soft sound, like an amused purring, became audible before Illyria slowly backed away before resuming her seat in the middle of the pair before simply craning her neck to watch Ida. Ida was her bonded ... but she hoped Procyon would become one of her many friends.

"Just Ida is okay." She said as she reached for his offered hand, taking it and squeezing gently, hoping that was the gesture he'd been looking for. She smiled as she released him, waving a hand back the way she'd come.

"And yes, please come with us back to our home. You can get warmed up there and maybe we can talk some more. Are you hungry? We can also get you some food. I know its been a rough transition... I've met a few other senshi who were kind of like you. Alone on their planets, and then pulled to Earth. None of them had any sort of support system when they arrived, but we've managed to find them all places to live while they figure out what they want to do while they're here." She said as she turned, leading the way back towards the apartment. Her inner senses stretched wide, searching for other power signatures in an effort to make sure no one was going to spot them powering down and entering the apartment as she bent to scoop up Illyria along the way.

"There are a lot of people on this planet." She said after a while, moving easily over the rooftops. "We thought it was the only place left in the universe with life on it, before senshi like you started to arrive. Its pretty amazing, what you've all gone through."

"Ah, ok! Sorry if adding Miss is offensive to you." It was a habit for him, to add some sort of title to people he met to keep things polite. Smiling at the handshake, he nodded and followed along as he listened.

"Oh, food... Yes that sounds amazing if you have anything planty?" He wasn't sure exactly what kind of food was around here but he knew he'd avoided eating the creatures of his homeworld even when things had gotten bad.

"I still need to figure things out but I am hoping to meet other friends like Illyria here." The first thing he wanted to figure out was what to do about his missing arm, if there was something here that could be done to help with that because he knew it would be hard to manage things one-handed. It wasn't easy to use the device Illyria gave him one-handed and he knew he couldn't do the things he liked this way either.

Feeling a bit conflicted about what he'd gone through, the odd blips of wakefulness that were spread between a dreamless sleep. It made the tired wanderings seem like their own fever dream until he'd been pulled here. "I hope to meet a lot of people here, maybe some old friends but hopefully I get to make new ones as well." He missed people, music, and dancing as well as all sorts of socializing. At least he'd been lucky with Illyria finding him so far and he hoped things would continue to go well from here on out.
