Strider got there at the lake and was awe - inspired by its beauty . " This is a beautiful place Lars " she replied and almost started crying as she had not seen anything so beautiful before . She wanted to pet the wolf and the bear but didnt want to anger them as they were Lara's pets and body guards , so she still kept her distance for a little longer.
Strider bent down and took a little sip of the clear water and took in the scenery too. She had missed nature so much and depended on it for her magic spells.

The rivers were such a great place to rest in. With a campfire set up and Inari sleeping by the put out fire by the log, he felt a bit sleepy after the meal he ate by evidence of the fish bones next to him. mmmmnnnn... maybe one more drink, miss. Inari would mutter in his sleep. He was basically dreaming of pretty explicit thoughts since it's what he does. When he would hear footsteps, however, he woke up with a sudden jump to his feet. He was sure that maybe it could be another bandit group. Either beastmen, or demons this time. Yet what surprised him more was a cloaked woman who would drink from the river. She was definitely with someone, he just knew, but they didn't seem like bandits, at least yet.

Lara and Strider reached the lake after some time and immediately Strider ran up to the body of water filled with joy. Lara was a little taken back by her excitement but in the end it made her chuckle a bit. "Yes, I suppose it is beautiful. Just don't drink up the whole lake," she said jokingly before sitting down by the water's edge. Allura approached the water as well and started to lap at the liquid while Tiny fully entered the water to take a cooling swim.
The more Lara watched them the more she seemed to find ease, as she always did when she had animals close by. Her feeling of ease quickly faded though when Allura's head perked up and she started growling. Instantly, Lara looked in her direction. She then turned away from Strider (in order to hide her face) and activated her mind link ability, causing her eyes to briefly glow once more. I smell something kind of strange Allura. You picked up on it too. What do you think? Her wolf mentally replied that she smelled what seemed to be burned wood, but it was faint. That suggested that there was a fire set up a while ago but it had recently been put out. So there might be someone still around these parts then... I'll stay alert. She psychically told her wolf before turning back to face Strider. "Hey Strider, I just have a strange feeling... I suggest staying on guard. As I said before, thieves tend to roam these parts so just be aware of your surroundings ok? Nothing is worse than a surprise attack."

Strider finished drinking the water and splashed her face to wake up her senses since she was told that a thief was about the land and she didnt want to face a fight just yet . " Yes I smell the fire too and I hope that its not real bad " she replied to Lara as she stood up and looked around her where she was standing. She was a soldier and knew how to fight but was enjoying her time with Lara and her companion pets so she hoped that she didnt have to fight just yet.

Hey, I'm no thief! I prefer the term Treasure Hunter, thank you very much! Inari would abruptly say, while coming out of hiding. He saw who the two women were, especiallythe growling and where it came from. The tall blonde lady had a wolf and bear as her companion!? Exactly who were they? The two didn't seem to have much on them except for the usual things people traveling would have. Who are you two? Inari asked, sheathing his dagger into his back. He was still wary the two, especially the taller lady. Those two animals of hers could be dangerous, and who knows what weaponry the cloaked girl is packing? Still, it couldn't be worse than those elven soldiers. Also, what's your purpose of being out here? He asked.
Strider looked at him and then back at Lara for a minute before replying " I am merely passing through to get to Yoleffiel , my home kingdom " then sighed a deep breath hoping that this guy wouldnt get all crazy on her . She was not sure what to think about him and wanted to just continue on her way home without a fight starting between them.

When the stranger finally revealed himself Lara was surprised to see how young he looked. What is tis boy doing all the way out here alone? she wondered as Strider explained herself a bit to him. With a sigh Lara responded, "I'm just assisting her. She was hopelessly lost and didn't seem like a threat so I figured I should give her a hand. But what about you, so called treasure hunter? This isn't exactly a gold mine so what purpose do you have for being in these parts?" As she spoke Lara waved off her wolf which let the creature know to calm down. Guess we are running into a lot of strangers today huh? she mentally communicated to both her animals.
Upon seeing the boy pop up Tiny trudged out of the water and approached Lara. He shook the water off of his coat, practically soaking her in the process, before taking a seat behind her. "Gee... thanks bud..." Lara said as she turned around and gave Tiny a brief pet.

Inari listened to both their reasons. It felt like as if the two wasn't anything close to tense or even afraid of him. And why else would they be? To them, Inari just seems like an average everyday runaway kid who probably escaped his master. Then again, he wasn't all that strong to be looked at anything more than a warrior of any kind. Well, I'm looking for any clues of the Joue-- You know what, I'm just looking for Elven temples. I just came back from an expedition not too long ago. Inari would tell the two. I'm Inari. Kuzunoha Inari! And you two are? He asked for their names. It was strange how the cloaked girl was part of the Jouekien tribe. It could be possible that she knows some very ppwerful magic. Way more powerful than the magic skills Inari himself possess. Seeing the lady with the pet bear and wolf, it was near certain that the two animals were highly connected to her. Was she a beastmaster of some kind? Maybe she herself was a beastman who can communicate with animals as she see please. So you're going to the Yoleffiel kingdom? You do realize it's up a large nearly remote mountain, right? Y'know, with blizzard storms so bad, you can't see, and not to mention a settlement of humans that possibly don't exist? Inari told the two. That's why he was skeptical of the mage girl when she said she was from the Yoleffiel kingdom. Not even the elves would try to set foot there.

Strider stood there with her arms crossed and replied " I am Strider Rose from yoleffiel kingdom and I am on my way there right now with the help of Lara and her trusted companions here " . She was starting to get mad at him and wanted to shake him up good .
Lara raised a brow in suspicion when the boy started talking about clues for a certain thing but then switched to mention temples. Clearly whatever he was up to he didn't want others to know about, and, to be honest, whether that was a good or bad thing didn't matter too much to Lara. As long as she didn't get wrapped up in it the lack of information couldn't hurt her. If anything he was the problem of the elves since he wanted to search their temples.
"Looking for a welcome back or something? A congrats on not dying?" Lara said with an eye roll when Inari mentioned that he had recently returned. "Inari huh? I'm Lara, or Lars from no kingdom. Well, technically I was born in Yoleffiel but I have no loyalty to that place. I live in neutral lands so that kingdom politics don't f*ck up my life," Lara briefly explained. She, unlike the other two, didn't feel like revealing her full name. It wasn't like she was known, she wasn't, she just didn't feel the need to bring it up.
After explaining her neutrality Lara was surprised to hear that Strider assumed Lara was making the whole journey with her. "Wait... I am?" She responded with slight confusion as Tiny turned his attention to Strider and approached her. Overall, he was a lazy thing that didn't pay people much mind, but he seemed curious about her. He sniffed her hair a bit before rubbing his massive head against her. Clearly, he was looking for either some pats or a cuddle. "Real intimidating Tiny..." Lara said sarcastically, but she could help but ti smile ver so slightly when Tiny stood up on his two back legs, standing at a height well above the average man, and used his two front legs to pull Strider in for a hug. "He likes you. Guess that means he wants to help you and it means that I can trust you, for now," Lara said directly to Strider, however, it was clear that her grey wolf was going to need more convincing.
"As for you," Lara said, now looking at Inari, "I don't know what to think of you yet, and it doesn't matter. Looks like it has been decided that I'm sticking with this girl and traveling to Yoleffiel. I've travelled to and from there before so I'm not worried about the conditions.

Strider was a little embarrased about what she had said about Lara and replied " I meant to say that she is helping me to find my way there and not actually going there with me " as she blushed a bright red on her face . She noticed that one of lara's companions came up to her and sniffed her , she stood very still and then reached out to pet the animal.
" Lara is right ! The elves wont take too kindly to you being there . They will put you in a dungeon like they did me and hold you there until a reason to let you out is found."

It's not everyday where you would see a large bear jusp up and hugs someone. In all honesty, he's surprised that the animal was even friendly with people. He couldn't count how many times bears tried to kill him while Inari was out and about. That's... so weird.... Inari would mutter seeing the bear called "Tiny" be so affectionate. Still, Lara was obviously letting up information that Inari was aware of himself. She was a Jouekien descendant just like Kamui was. And Strider is straight up from the kingdom. Well, if that's the case, is it fine if I go with you two? I actually have been looking for Yoleffiel for a while, and you two obviously know the way better than me. Inari said, picking up his backpack off the ground next to the put out campfire. Hearing what Strider said about how they would put them in the dungeon and be merciless when given the chance. Which to Inari, sounds like they captured her. Huh, they let you out? Usually they just stab you with heated prongs, cut out your tongue, and-- Within that instance, Inari basically began listing forms of torture and interrogation techniques that were just downright horrifying, brutal, and very degrading, since it speaks of what the dungeon master would do for genital mutilation. But yeah! I've been kind of a thorn at their backside for a while, and the demons don't usually help. See, the trick is to avoid all forms of plant life anywhere and everywhere. That's how their princess finds you. Inari would inform them. So! You guys ready to go? It's a long trip.

Strider nodded her head and replied " Yes they let me out as I wasnt doing anything to hurt them and was sent to here , where I later met Lara and her companions . I hope that I am met at yoleffiel with open arms . I am a soldier for that kingdom and I need to set things right with them "
She was feeling like she was on trial and that anything she said would make her that much more in trouble . " So what business do you have with my kingdom Inari? I hope that you are not planning something bad to do when you get there ?" she asked him in a calm tone.
(OOC: You're fine. My character's actions and behavior doesn't reflect how I truly think and feel. It's all like acting lol. Btw due to the time/date change I'm going to write a quick time skip thing. Hope that's ok. If you guys want me to change my post I will.)
Lara noticed Inari's clear confusion about her and her animals. She guessed that he was trying to figure her out just as she was trying to figure him out, and to that she can only think good luck. She wasn't that easy to get to know. "I wouldn't suggest being rude to Tiny. Typically, he's a lazy, lovable giant, but if you piss him off... well... he can pop your head like a zit with the force of his paws," Lara warned Inari. Soon he started talking about the horrible things that the elves do to prisoners which made her wonder how he knew all that. If anything, this boy was proving to be rather strange himself. When he mentioned avoiding plant laugh Lara couldn't help but to laugh. "So you came to a lake! There is grass everywhere!" she said between fits of laughter. She only ceased her laughter when he realized that now the boy intended to join her and Strider. "Wait one moment, who said you could tag along kid? Do I look like a babysitter to you all?" she said as Tiny released Strider and rolled on to his back. "Ok I guess I'm sort of like Tiny's babysitter, by at least I know he can fend for himself. Come to think of it, I don't even know where your skill level lies Strider. If we are going to be traveling together I'm going to at least be assured that if we are attacked that you can both be of use," Lara said as the sun began to set.
"How about this, we rest for the night here then tomorrow morning we can figure out the travel plan more. Ok? Now if you excuse me, I'm going to go pick some water based plants before crashing. They could prove useful as food or ingredients for medicine," Lara explained before she went off and started collecting what she recognized.
-Skip to Morndas Morning-
Stretching her arms up and yawning Lara was surprised to find that she was no longer laying on top of Tiny. She remembered falling asleep on him but apparently he got up and wandered off and she was so tired that she just slept through it. Sitting up, grass stuck in her long blonde hair, Lara looked around and noticed that Tiny was catching fish in the lake. "Bring some over here Tiny! Sharing is caring right?" she shouted at the bear before standing up and brushing herself off. She saw that Allura was awake and alert, which meant that she still felt the need to be cautious of their company. "Thank you for keeping watch Allura, but you are going to tire out if you don't eat or sleep properly because you're too busy death glaring our company. You know I can take care of myself. Relax girl," Lara said in a shockingly soothing voice that almost didn't seem like her, considering how much of a b*tch she has been to Inari and Strider. "Speaking of which Inari, Strider, I want to finish what I brought up last night before heading out. Can you both confirm that you have some kind of survival skills. I'll admit that I know how to make medicines, potions, and poisons, and as you can tell I have a special bond with animals that proves useful." For now Lara decided to keep the fact that she could mentally link to animals and take on animal qualities a secret.
