At present the stallion was being a little lazy. He was still doing something, but he was just not standing while doing so. Laying down he stared at the sky and watched the stars shining above. He liked to map them out or recreate shapes and name them something else. It was a little game he liked to do. He'd then go around asking others if they heard of the constellation hearts arrow, or something interesting to that affect. It was typically something he could point out since he created it, but it wasn't a real thing. It was just something to pass the time. Opening his wings he balanced himself on his back, his legs bent slightly as he just laid there, enjoying the feeling of the blood rushing to the opposite side of his body.

The mini let out a gentle sigh and pulled her wings close to her body. Night had already come, blanketing the land with a serene darkness. The solitude...the silence... Tapioca had come to enjoy it - it had a calming effect on her. No one was typically out at this time, so it gave her time to be by herself - to actually be herself. Not put up a facade, as she often did around her father and extended family.
Except...she had left them. The mini was the black sheep and thus departed to find her own way. She felt incomplete - like some piece of her identity was missing. All her family members were close with each other; they had good bonds with their parents and amongst each other but...not her. Thus she strongly felt she needed to find some unknown truth that could make her feel whole. Maybe one day she would find her way back to the herd, but for now, she needed to be on her own so she could have the chance to discover herself.
Lazily treading along the land, she became entranced with the twinkling stars. The way they seemed to flicker brighter than disappear...it seemed so mystical to her. Mysterious...like her? She flicked an ear and shrugged. She supposed most importantly they were a reminder that there was someone out there she wished to meet - maybe she could give her the closure she needed. But...for now, she would just enjoy the stars.

As he laid there the sound of hooves lightly falling caused him to tear his gaze from the sky and look for the owner of the noise. Watching as a largely winged mini walked towards him in an upside down manner, being that he was still on his back, he realized she was looking up. This could cause for some interesting troubles if she walked into his face. Which was something he didn't exactly want to happen. With a tuck of one wing he rolled onto his side and onto his feet rather effortlessly and hoped his sudden movements didn't startle the small female. He'd never met a Usidia before but he had heard of them and just assumed that she had to be one, given her small stature. "The stars are lovely are they not?" He asked her sky turned face as he watched her curiously. Such lovely colors.

Tapioca was consumed in her own world, enjoying the twinkling lights so much that she wasn't aware of the presence near her. As he spoke to her, the mini made a soft gasp and twitched her wings out defensively. As she quickly shifted her gaze towards him, her eyes slightly widened, clearly a little startled. A large - or at least, larger than her - stallion stood before her, a mix of black and dark blue and covered head to hoof in brilliant speckles. He resembled the sky she was gazing upon just a moment ago...It was as if he was a missing puzzle piece that had been seperated from its picture. She tilted her head curiously.
"They are. Something about them always makes me feel at peace," she said, watching him closely. Had he been there this whole time? She wanted to fuss at herself for being so unaware. "But what do you think? I imagine you're quite fond of them?" she said mused, a faint smile appearing on her face as she continued to watch the stallion with inquisitive eyes.

She had quite large wings for such a small mare, it was impressive that she could move them so fluidly. At her words he couldn't help but smile, it always pleased him when someone else found the stars as peaceful as he did. Blinking he lowered his glowing gaze to look upon her face and flicked his short tail behind him. "It's nice to hear that someone else feels the same way I do about the stars," He took a moment to look up towards them, his pelt seeming to glisten like they do as he moved. "I am very fond of them, though my coloration doesn't have anything to do with why I love them so." He looked her over since she was at a distance in which he could see her clearly. She was quite striking, he liked the way her colors swirled and combined with her markings. "What brings you this way dear one?"

She found his response a little amusing, though she was sure that wasn't his intent. "I see. Then I suppose your coloration is just a big coincidence then," she replied, giggling.
She couldn't help but stiffen slightly at his next words, however. Hearing him term her 'dear one,' made her feel a little skittish - it was typically a term of endearment among her family members. It felt too...intimate. But..he wasn't family, so perhaps the term held different meaning to him. She tried to shake it off her mind and instead bashfully said, "Hmm, I suppose there's no solid reason that brings me out here. Just a wandering soul looking for...something."
Regardless of his boldness, the mini couldn't help but take a moment to admire his markings - how the star markings gave the effect of fading in and out. She paused and brought her eyes back towards his, somewhat hoping the stallion wouldn't perceive her as oogling. "Pardon my manners, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Tapioca. And you are?"

"I would suppose it is. I don't often look at myself so I never really gave what I look like much thought." He said simply not exactly picking up that her comment had possibly been rhetorical. Watching her reaction he wondered if he had said something wrong but she seemed fine and didn't say anything and he gave a nod. "We are all looking for something, I too find myself out and about, making my way in search of something." It was true, he was a wanderer at heart though, he just couldn't bring himself to go too far from his Nephews and brother. One day though. One day. "That's a lovely name, I'm Anakim. It's nice to meet you Tapioca." He quite enjoyed how she admired his markings, he never had anyone take such an interest in the way he looked before. It was sort of nice in a way. Though he wasn't going to get a big head about it or anything. "Do you often travel alone at night?" It was more of a curiosity question more than anything, he didn't doubt she could care for herself or anything like that. He quite liked traveling by himself at night, it was far more peaceful that way.

"A good sign. My father has told me plenty of times that someone that looks at themselves often is generally conceited," she replied, smiling wryly. Which she always found amusing; she had definitely caught her father admiring his reflection in the pond waters. Perhaps that's why he said it - he had to be aware of his ego at that point.
Her interest was piqued at the mention of questing for something. Ears perking slightly, Tapioca asked, "Oh? What are you looking for exactly? If I may ask, of course." Maybe he was much like her? The idea definitely excited her a little; this exotic looking stallion was becoming more and more interesting the more he said.
"Ahh.. Thank you. It's very nice to meet you too, Anakim." She shuffled one of her front hooves against the ground. "I suppose you could say so. I've been traveling by myself recently. There's something about seeing the world on my own that is it's own sort of relaxing. Especially at night. The stars kind of make me feel like I have someone watching over me, even if I don't. I don't know if that makes any sense."

"Your father sounds like a wise equine." Giving a small nod of his head he turned his gaze skywards and then looked back at her. "I personally believe it would be dull to look at one's self all day long." Giving a small shrug of his shoulders he then glanced back towards her again when she inquired about what he might be looking for. "Life, I suppose." He thought a moment more. "I go where my heart calls and often enough it's during the twilight hours and the stars are signing their song to me." Glowing gaze cast upwards as he watched the stars twinkling above. "Do you feel them pull you, call to you?" Maybe it was just him, but there was so much to learn and to know about them that he doubted he'd ever live to know all their secrets. Watching as she shuffled he smiled. She was sweet. "It make's perfect sense, I know that feeling of which you speak." He offered her some comfort in her words, to know she wasn't alone in the feeling. Maybe she was much like him.
