Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori had snapped back to his throne room. He remembered everything without a haze, although he wondered if Queen Aurae remembered anything. Because he was a ghost and he was the one entering her dream, he wasn't affected by the haze of the dreamland because it felt like a normal place to him. He remembered every detail, so if she needed a reminder he would be well qualified to give her one. He sat back in his chair and meditated. That's all that he had to do in the Ghost Kingdom as nothing much went on. There was no desire to live because they were all dead, or at least "undead", so there was no rush to do anything. There was no action, with the exception of the new ghosts that always want to try to take the throne. He was the most powerful ghost yet, so none had succeeded so far, but there could always be someone much more powerful. Sasori thought of the possibility of Queen Aurae coming to his kingdom. He figured that he would just travel over there when the time was right, but he never excluded any possibilities. He also knew that there were different groups of ghosts, some he didn't exactly have control over because of the rivalries, and so he knew that if she decided to come she could be in danger, especially if those ghost tribes found her. He sent a group of his most trusted phantoms to patrol the Kingdom entrances that she was most likely to go through, and protect her if she did happen to come by. While this was happening, he continued to lay back in his throne with no rush.

Aurae CataegidisQueen of the Air Kingdom II Location: Throne Room, Ghost Kingdom... II Condition: Healthy... II Mood: Somewhat playful... II Company: NPC guards and Sasori... II As she traveled thoughts of her family's troubles filled her head, though she wanted to focus on her own peace-keeping mission. She was considering various possible outcomes and what would happen if anything went wrong. Occasionally she thought of how embarrassing it would be if the dream had been of her own creation and not a visit from King Sasori. She knew how she would get beyond that, if she'd really come to the wrong conclusion. If it was just from her imagination, it was fairly ridiculous for her to be fantasizing a meeting between herself and a dead man. However attractive he'd been, she wasn't set on what his rank was either. In her dream she hadn't a decent look at his rear yet, so she had yet to make a decision regarding that. It didn't make much of a difference to her that she couldn't touch him. As soon as she'd realized her mind was wandering again she dismissed that line of thinking. There was a very, very much deadly serious issue at hand that needed to be dealt with.
She thought of her responsibilities to the people of her kingdom and that was enough to bring her thoughts back to the Ghost Kingdom. As she and her guards arrived at the border, it wasn't as difficult to stay focused. She'd never been to the Ghost Kingdom before but it was more intimidating and unpleasant to look at than she'd previously believed. It was drastically different from the Air Kingdom in so many ways, not the least of which being the architecture. The atmosphere felt just a tad oppressive in her opinion, perhaps that was normally considering this place was inhabited mainly by the dead? Looking at it brought her to take the venture seriously. She steadily brought her guard up, becoming familiar with her surroundings and ready to draw her weapons or flee if need be. It was her habit to relax while traveling unless there was a need to act, but this time it seemed wiser to be prepared. She was always advised to be cautious at all times when traveling, or alone. It was an old habit of hers to disregard this advise, since it bothered her advisors and guards to such an entertaining degree.
Before she'd left, she had wanted to travel alone. She was grateful for the council of her advisors, for a little familiar company made her feel more secure and would help her to maintain an outwardly calm demeanor. Also that she hadn't just tried to abandon her guard on the way there, as she had in the Serene Forest days earlier. As her party grew nearer, they were approached by several specters. Her hands were tense at her sides, ready to grab hold of and unsheathe her rapier and daggers. Her guards were also ready to fight, but fairly quickly the ghosts' intentions were made clear. She was hesitant to follow their lead. It seemed like an obvious trap and therefore a poor choice. But she liked a little mystery. So, why not leave a little more to chance? Her party followed along behind the Ghost King's ghosts through the Kingdom and eventually the castle until they arrived at the throne room.
It was a bit of an awkward walk as she and her fellows from the Air Kingdom received odd looks. She assumed that it was due to some of her guards being at least part angel, including herself. If one was close to the darkness, being near light may very well make one uncomfortable or perhaps even cause one to be in pain. She found it to be amusing despite the increased possibility of encountering something hostile. The presence of subjects loyal to the King may very well keep them from acting on anything. A shame. She thought to herself, though she was also glad that nothing had happened. It would make finalizing this treaty more complicated. She stepped forwards and had her guards stay behind her near the way they'd come in. Aurae folded her hands politely over her waist and allowed a small but mischievous smile to grace her features as she addressed the other ruler. "I do hope you'll pardon my arriving unannounced, King Sasori. I've come to continue negotiations."
She waited patiently for a response of some kind, stormy grey-blue eyes looking over his see-through figure. He was pretty close to what she could remember of her dream which made her believe her first assumption. It wouldn't be the first time she'd been wrong though. But how interesting! Either way.

Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori continued laying back in his throne chair as the ghost told him of Auraes arrival. He figured that, after that dream, she would immediately come to see him. Whenever he walked into other peoples dreams, typically what happens is either they remember the dream and they immediately become curious on whether it was real or not, or they forget the dream entirely. He had to admit that he was surprised that she remembered, because most people either forget the next morning or forget how different it was in contrast to normal dreams. He was glad, however, that he sent his specters to search for her and guard her entry, as there were always ghosts that went rogue and he couldn't have them messing anything up. He didn't have anything on his calendar, and nothing else that he was in the middle of doing so he just took the time to relax. After a bit of time, he sensed their presence. Their life force, which is completely absent in a ghost, attracted him almost as soon as they came close to his castle. Soon, Aurae came up through the castle and entered the Throne room, leaving her guards behind. She seemed to have a charm about her that he couldn't help but enjoy. He gave her a smug grin back. Don't worry, Queen Aurae. I was already expecting you. Come, sit down. He gestured to the chair that was a ways in front of him. He floated down to the opposite chair and sat down. I see you brought your swords. I hope you know, normal weapons can't typically be destroyed by such normal weapons. The only way to ensure a ghosts final death would be a weapon enchanted with light or holy water, but if you had such weapon then I might have to be concerned myself, now wouldn't I? He let out a little chuckle. His intention wasn't to intimidate, only to lighten up the situation. He knew that she, as most people, are very aware of the dangers of being in the Ghost Kingdom, so being here can be a dangerous thing for some. Just kidding. Now, let's get to business. Do you remember any of the things we said in the dream?

Aurae CataegidisQueen of the Air Kingdom II Location: Throne Room, Ghost Kingdom... II Condition: Healthy... II Mood: Sobered up... II Company: NPC guards and Sasori... II She accepted the offered seat without a second thought. If he meant to trap her, she'd rather experience what was going to happen. It was dangerous risk to take, but one she hoped would be at least entertaining if something didn't go according to plan. She raised an eyebrow at his curious statement. "Oh.." She commented, wondering just how badly she'd stepped in it this time if that were true. She had little knowledge regarding the Ghost Kingdom, not having spent much time researching it before leaving. Going in blind was a mistake on her part. If something should happen, and even worse if she couldn't sort it out, then what would happen to her people? What had she sent Kita away for? As he stated that he was just joking she eyed him curiously. She found herself wondering again if he could read her thoughts but disregarded the possibility in favor of focusing on the topic at hand.
She had one of her guards approach her and place down a satchel which he'd been carrying. She opened it and produced the large scroll she'd been writing on in her sleep. She held it out for him to look over, then decided to open it and show it to him. She wasn't sure if he could move objects in the real world, after all. "This is what I have of our previous discussion. I went over it with my advisors and there are revisions, here and there. You'll find that everything we said to each other is written there."

Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori knew that he was spooking her just a bit. It was okay, the Ghost Kingdom was a scary place when it wanted to be. She handed him the treaty. I see you remember the things we discussed. I'm surprised, since some people don't remember dream encounters, but it's a good surprised. It makes this pretty simple. He looked over at the treaty. It wasn't exactly 100% beneficial to him, but he knew that the best treaty was one where both parties lose in order to gain. He knew that it was just her advisers looking out for her, so he couldn't blame her. He had spent the beginning of his ghost years studying and learn the ways of royalty, since he didn't have the impatience and overlooking rush of those who still have to worry about death, and so he was able to take his time and fully understand his expectations in ways that many people can't when they are new to the royal life. This allowed him to effectively be his own adviser. Plus, there were too many rivals ready to take the throne from him, so he couldn't trust anyone to influence his important decisions. So lets just review the basics. We have these trade routes discussed here, does it all look okay to you? And in case of war we may be forced to fight against each other, but I proposed that we don't send our armies onto each others land, is that okay to you? I ask you so we can make this clear before we finalize everything.

Aurae CataegidisQueen of the Air Kingdom II Location: Throne Room, Ghost Kingdom... II Condition: Healthy... II Mood: Neutral... II Company: Sasori... II She straightened her posture as he read over the treaty and folded her hands politely over her lap. As she waited, she let her eyes wander over his appearance. He was very much the way he'd been in her dream, only in person it was a different experience. He was quite handsome as well as looking to be around her age. It was a pity that he'd died young. She wondered how, but found her thoughts taking more of a mischievous tone. Knowing that he was dead didn't make too much difference to her. She never intended to have a relationship until the royal bloodline was secured and there was no point to sullying her reputation by dating around. Of course, she'd also have to be able to trust her husband with the care of the Demon King's Sash should something happen to her. Which wasn't possible for her, at least not for the moment.
Not much of him could be seen, however. She wondered if a ghost could change anything about its appearance at will? Could one make themselves fit as a fiddle, down right gorgeous if they wanted to? When in life they'd lived a different sort of lifestyle. It was an amusing thought. Even though she couldn't see it and it didn't truly matter at all, she hoped that he was. It wouldn't be proper for them to spar, but even so she thought to herself how entertaining it would be. She redirected her gaze to his eyes with a sly smile, as he'd finished reading the treaty. Then carefully went over the changes he'd made in the treaty. It wasn't too poor of an arrangement. Some of her people would be able to benefit from this, others among them wouldn't.
It was ultimately better than war and hopefully Sasori was a man of his word. The main points of interest were all covered anyway. "Yes. This will do nicely. Tell me, King Sasori, if you don't mind my asking. How do you celebrate these sorts of matters in the Ghost Kingdom?" They still had to finalize everything but she couldn't help her curiosity.

Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori noticed that she kept examining him as he read off of the treaty. He couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking as she looked him over. He had only barely seen her subtle glances; he had to admit she was pretty good at hiding her curious eyes. Still, he wondered what it might be. Maybe his ghostly figure? Maybe she doesn't exactly trust him yet? That would usually seem like the likely answer, but she seemed more intrigued than concerned. He had jokingly thought in his head that she found attraction in him. As confident as he was in his looks, he didn't have much to look at anymore as a ghost. As he looked over the treaty and they finalized the agreement, he thought about the effects of the agreements. Not everyone could win, but he did the best he could to make it as fair as possible. If he made it too self serving, the Air Kingdom people would revolt, and vice versa if he gave his people the unfair position. He already had too many ghosts who would like to find any reason to take the throne from him. When he finished, he looked up at Aurae, noticing that she had a slight smile on her face as she looked at him. He smiled back, looking down and chuckling then looking back at her. She's a cute one, he thought. Being such a light character, she somewhat illuminated the room. It was typically dark in the Kingdom, so she left a bit of contrast in comparison. Her smile was also something you didn't see in the Ghost Kingdom everyday, so it was a nice change. She seemed to agree with the terms on the page, so she asked him how they celebrated things. Why, we celebrate it in the same manner you would. A few differences, however, but still the same concept.Ghosts are just people without bodies. Most of them, at least. He smiled at her. We could either have a ball to celebrate. If you wanted to keep things a bit more private we can too. I have all the time in the world for such things so I have no preference in the way we celebrate.

Aurae CataegidisQueen of the Air Kingdom II Location: Throne Room, Ghost Kingdom... II Condition: Healthy... II Mood: Flirtacious... II Company: Sasori... II A flirtatious smile lit up her features as she heard his suggestion and her wings fluttered a bit, reflecting her excitement. A light blush lingered on her cheeks as she happily matched the ghost-man's gaze. "Hmm? A private celebration, you say? My, my that sounds like it could be quite fun." She laughed lightly, knowing full well that she shouldn't have responded so playfully and that she should have her guard up around this other ruler. But she couldn't resist the temptation. She was sure that her guards were also groaning at the implication, which only egged her on further. "I would love to, if I may speak frankly. However we should hold a celebration of sorts for our people. A ball sounds quite lovely, I am certain that the nobles of my country would enjoy that. Perhaps that's suitable, considering it would be held in honor of this treaty being finalized. I do wonder though if a festival wouldn't be better? Something that officially every citizen, regardless of rank, could enjoy. What do you think?"
She believed that her people would enjoy any form of celebration. If one was held for those of noble ranks and above, the common people would create one of their own anyways. But she wasn't too familiar with the citizens of the Ghost Kingdom. So she didn't know what they would enjoy, or if they would even like to be around beings from a kingdom allied with the Light. In any case, after settling matters for her people she wanted to inquire further about spending more time with King Sasori. She thought him an intriguing man, even though she'd only met him just recently. She wanted to know more. What his likes, dislikes and hobbies were. If he were too uncomfortable with the idea, she'd pursue it on the basis of friendship with just a bit of playful teasing every now and then.

Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori grinned at her. She seemed a bit flirty towards him, and he didn't mind it. It was the first time that he had genuine attention from a female since back when he was alive. Now it's all ghost girls that either are too focused on getting back to their families or they want part of the throne. He wouldn't allow someone to use him, so he rejected all those that came after him. Aurae, however, seemed different. She seemed more interested in him. Plus, she already had power and status so she had no need for his. Why not do both?! He exclaimed, floating up into the air and sitting onto the table, placing himself somewhat beside her. We could have our own personal party, AND a festival. If you didn't mind though, I'd rather have the ball in your kingdom. If we had one here, I don't think it would be too lively. He chuckled at his own pun, since it was basically a kingdom full of dead people. Plus, people here like to do their own thing, so I let them. I doubt they'd enjoy any sort of royal party anyways.

Aurae CataegidisQueen of the Air Kingdom II Location: Throne Room, Ghost Kingdom... II Condition: Healthy... II Mood: Flirtacious... II Company: Sasori... II She stretched her wings out behind herself, then folded them. The flirty little smile never left her, neither did she look away from him as she did this. She didn't mind him moving to be closer to her. Privately she wondered how this experience differed from being next to a man of flesh and blood. She found herself becoming ever more curious about what ghosts were like and how they went about doing things. She knew something about his ability to intrude upon the dreams of others. Did he sleep? Did his ghostly form need to rest, and if so how? She was brought back from her thoughts as she realized she'd been silently staring at him while she'd gotten lost in her own thoughts. She widened her smile, politely covering her mouth for a moment. "Then, I'll arrange for a suitable setting for it. Somewhere not so bright for the comfort of your citizens.. We have many caves in the Air Kingdom, so perhaps in one of those systems. I'll prepare a list of suitable venues and we'll continue from there."
She leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on her knees and weaving her fingers together to support her chin as she rest it upon them. She smiled at him, pale blue eyes looking over his facial features once more until they met his eyes again. He didn't seem to mind her frankly speaking her mind. Barely knowing him at all her instincts were telling her that she could trust him, as far as expressing her interest in him went. He could become violent at any time, there was so much she didn't know about him or ghosts in general. Much of what she'd read she hadn't the time to confirm before she'd decided to pay him a visit. "I must admit I've become quite curious about you, King Sasori. One royal to another, when next you have some free time I'd love it if you'd share it with me. I'm a stranger to your kingdom, but know of many places within the Air Kingdom that I think you'd enjoy visiting." She was aware of what asking him out would mean, if he refused things may het messy. They'd only just decided on a treaty to keep the peace between their two kingdoms. Still, this seemed worth the risk to her. She hoped she wouldn't regret it later.

Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori was starting to have a little bit of fun with her. They had started a bit of a flirting game, and he was okay with it. It had been a while since he had someone to flirt with. No, I think you can make it normal. For the ghosts that do come, I think they'd enjoy what they're used to. He had his arms crossed with his head tilted, smiling at her. He could feel some of his ghost energy flaring up from his mild excitement. She soon invited him to spend some time with her. He didn't mind, he actually was excited at the thought of it. He was intrigued in her, her Air Kingdom ways, and wondered how she could've gained such a interest in him. Sure, we can do that. I've never been to the Air Kingdom, so I'm interested to see around, do whatever you have in mind. He actually was interested to see how it would go.

II Aurae smiled at him, silent as she yet again examined his features. His body language was a bit tense, but it wasn't aggressive. He seemed as excited as she was and she hoped that her guess was correct. "I'm looking forward to it immensely, Sasori."She said with a somewhat impish little smile. She'd used his name informally, to further express her intentions. Then she turned to the treaty, looking over it once more before adding her signature to it. She waited for him to do the same, glancing over at her guards for a moment. They were vigilant, though one or two looked a bit weary. She expected it was from the suddenness of the journey. She felt wide awake, her mind alive with curiosity. She would be taking her leave soon, since the Ghost King hadn't stated when he would be available. "I must return to my kingdom soon, though I appreciate you taking the time for this so suddenly." As he finished adding his signature, making the treaty between their kingdoms official, she held out one of her hands to shake his. "Until we meet again, Sasori."

Sasori UshiaGhost KingSasori was surprised to hear her use his name informally, leaving out the title and just calling him by his name. He figured she was starting to get comfortable around him, and he was getting comfortable around her too. As am I, Aurae. He smiled at her, excited for the time to come. He could tell that she was nearing the time for her to leave, as she glanced at her guards. He secretly wanted her to stay and talk longer, but they both had their duties. He signed the treaty after she did, hearing that she needed to go soon. Very well, I shall be contacting you when I am available. She reached out to shake his hand. Knowing that he was still in ghost form, he used his Object Manipulation to move his potion into his hands. He drank some of the potion, just a sip so he'd be in physical form long enough to shake her hand. His body shifted and hardened to be similar to a human body, keeping the same appearance. He reached his hand out to meet hers. And again shall we meet, Aurae.

Aurae CataegidisQueen of the Air Kingdom II Location: Throne Room, Ghost Kingdom... II Condition: Healthy... II Mood: Excited... II Company: Sasori... II Aurae smiled, a little color touching her cheeks to hearing her name unaccompanied by her title. She watched, fascinated, as he brought the potion up to his lips. She'd believed until now that ghosts couldn't come directly into contact with items, and was simply amazed to see it happening before her. She shook his hand, surprised by the way it felt. She'd been expecting nothing, merely offering it as a gesture of good faith. She was delighted that he would go to such efforts. Her wings perked up behind her, even the little ones where her ears should be were peeking through her hair. She inhaled deeply, then smiled. She held on to his hand for another second before letting go, all red in the face, and walking towards her guards. She left, making the journey back to the Air Kingdom without much awareness as to how much time had passed. She was looking forward to hearing from Sasori and had so many questions for him. It wasn't polite to linger after saying farewell, or she would've asked then and there. Such an unusual and excited thing to witness! A ghost gaining a physical form! What a strange man, so new to her in so many interesting ways. She could hardly wait for their next meeting! ((Exits to the Air Kingdom.))
