He's not much of a partier, but he's sociable and hangs out with friends regularly. 6'2", dark hair, brown eyes, tan caucasian, a bulky football guy. He has taken on a very part time job cleaning up one of the whale watching spots in town to help out his mother monetarily while he's back in her house. Family Member's Name: Anna Cowley Family Member Info: Anna, 49, is Cole's mother. She works at The Drift Inn and is generally happy, as long as she knows where her son is. With him missing, she can be a little snappish and weepy. She is a bottom-heavy 5'8" with salt-and-pepper hair, ruddy skin, and blue eyes.

"Yah hots," Zan said to himself as he paced a square of space several feet away from the Hearth. "Yah hots. Yah hots." He tossed his dagger from hand to hand and back again, just to see if he could catch it, and peered into the fire every so often as if he might see Oregon on the other side.
He was wearing his newest acquisition, a bright red coat, as puffy as a marshmallow, and when he wasn't muttering the name of the town they were headed to, he was smirking. He might have voted to let Circe clean up her own mess, but he couldn't deny that being forced to clean it up for her had the potential to be entertaining as well. He'd never been to the west coast. At the very least he had that to look forward to.

"Yah mon," someone parroted, and walked up from someone behind Zan. The woman was similarly dolled up for an Oregon adventure, in a slick Nike running coat and actual waterproof duck boots. Izzy had learned a few things while in the Bayou, not the least among them the shittiness of wet socks. Her spear was at the ready by her side, and she leaned on it somewhat like a huge walking stick.
"You are Zan?" She might have extended a hand to shake, but the Hermes Chosen seemed occupied with his knife juggling, so she nodded at him. "I'm Izzy, from Artemis Land. You know if we got someone else coming?"

Of course Asher was the first one there -- and he didn't seem to notice, nor to mind. His attention was turned downward, to his phone, mouth pressed into a frown and his eyebrows knitted together in the middle of his forehead. He was almost on them before he finally looked up -- eyes flicking to Izzy, first, the frown deepening. Then they settled on Zan and he relaxed upst a little, putting down whatever he'd been asking about to offer his fist.
"Izzy," Zan said with a welcoming smile. "As a matter of fact, we—" He glanced at Asher as the other Chosen made his presence known. "We do, and he's right here." He bumped his roommate's fist with his own, careful to sheathe his knife before doing so.
"I am, in fact, Zan of Hermes." He shook her hand. "And we're off to Yah Mon, Oregon." He snorted before continuing his briefing with a touch more gravitas. "The woman we're supposed to see has a son who was turned by Circe. Allegedly." No trace of Zan's distaste showed on his face, even though he had voted they set the goddess free to clean up her own messes.
"Ready to go?"

Izzy smiled at Zan, immediately a fan of his attitude. She ignored Asher, at least for the moment, since he had looked at her as if he sniffed a pile of s**t. "Sounds good. If we're lucky, the kid just ran off to become a Juggalo, and we'll be back in time for dinner."
"Oregon?" It got a raised eyebrow, torn between skeptical and curious, as Asher wondered just which part of Oregon they'd be going to -- and then letting the glimmer of hope fade away as he realized they'd probably end up in some other tiny ******** town, just like the one they'd been sent to in the sweltering heat of the Bayou.
"Whatever, let's get it done. It's just one kid, right? Can't be as hard as the last trip." He gestured, vaguely, for Zan to lead the way through.

He chuckled once as he stepped closer to the blue-green flames. "One man who happens to be someone's kid, yeah. A bouncing twenty-two year old baby boy." Zan nodded, then slipped through the flames without further hesitation.
Emerging on the other side, he slid his hands into his pockets and held his coat shut, concealing his dagger as he waited for the others. He was standing in the quiet corner of what looked to be a lobby of some sort. When Izzy arrived, he said, "I don't know where the Juggalos hang out, but we're supposed to go to The Drift Inn."
A tall man in a blindingly white starched shirt entered the area, seemingly oblivious to the trio's origins. "You don't have to go anywhere, son. You're here! Welcome! What can I do for you all?"
Right. Zan recalled hearing something about the Hearth's tendency to eject Chosen into hotels and hospitals. Convenient.
