• Personality:: Jayapura has a personality of rugged manliness, eating heavily, drinking, showing off, and displaying a wild sense of enthusiasm only towards what interest him and rarely towards what interest others. But, Jayapura is a quirky and lighthearted old man at heart who loves his family and guild very dearly. Many define him as a glutton. He also has an obsession with perfection when it comes to the food he serves. Despite having a huge appetite and massive power, Jayapura made a rule not to indiscriminately kill and eat any animal; he only kills animals that he decides to eat. He has a keen sense of smell (better than a police dog) and a high level of knowledge about many different species of life, their behavior, and habitats. Jayapura believes that no species of life, regardless of its existence, should be brought to extinction.
• Biography ::
When he was in his prime, Jayapura once believed that raw strength and power were needed to become the best there is. This trait led him to challenge people that were even beyond his calibur to fights in order to demonstrate his power, and with each loss he gained a better understanding of why he was so weak. All his life, he fought strong people, sometimes being on the verge of death. His lust for power got the better of him when he was forced into fighting his best friend and rival to determine which of the two would be worthy of being the Guild Ace. Back in the old days of Sabertooth, strength and power were everything. If he were to lose to anyone, it will result in exposure from the guild. His overconfidence in his skill caused him to lose, making his friend the new Guild Ace, and his beliefs came crashing down when his master excommunicated him telling him, "There was no place for pathetic weaklings in this guild", which shocked him. Ever since then, Jayapura was left broken inside as he left to get away from all the pain that the guild brought him.
With his arrival on the continent of Genosha, Jayapura wanted to be alone for the rest of his life, until he felt a strong magical power in the supposed unmapped continent, and found himself in the heart of the Genosha Capital. It was there he challenged the 3rd Sabertooth Guild-Master, Draco Sung, to a fight. After losing once again, Jayapura couldn't bare to face the shame of another loss. His fear of losing diminished when the man told him that, "It is okay to lose. You either run or learn. True warriors learn from their past mistakes and stand tall." Hearing those words inspired him to change his way of thinking, and caused Jayapura to train non-stop in a uncharted forest within the capital. The capital was known for the dangerous beasts lurking within it. Draco dared Jaya to survive in the forest for an entire year without fail and tell him what he learned. Jayapura accepted the challenge boldly. After a year, Jayapura came trotting back to the guild, bloodied and beaten. The mouth of a vicious tiger was worn like a hat on his head, a large forged spear wrapped with leather, and fur to blanket him from the cold winters. He had trumped over the tough struggle and was dubbed the name King Of Beasts by his appearance. Jayapura had returned to the guild to regain his honor and reform some of the unfair laws within the guild. The only way was to defeat Daichi, his guildmaster, and claim the title. Some say the battle was so intense, the entire guild all the way to the town shook from the amount of destruction from them going toe to toe. Jayapura was cornered many times, but countered each blow with one of his rivaling them. Daichi soon met his fated defeat, and was excommunicated from the guild forever. There were rumors he died of old age. Jayapura became candidate for Guild-Master after Daichi's passing. Not only that, the guild turned to his liking as the need for strength and power were no longer needed.
Jayapura saw a more positive outlook on life, causing him to change dramatically as he became laid back and cheerful. His new hobby as a glutton for food coaxed him to eat seven course meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His new personality was favored by his fellow guild members, especially one special woman who he later fell in love with, and married to start their own family. Though not lost, his need for power was still there, only this time it was meant to gain power to protect those close to him, not for selfish reasons. Whenever someone insults his friends or family, his frightening aura emerges, making sure everyone knows that if they ever try to harm them, he will make sure that even hell will not be able to protect them from his wrath.

Grand Shogun: (ぐらんど そがん Gurando Sogan) is one of The Three Inner Secrets created by the first Guild Master of Sabertooth, Master Mao. Like it's others, Grand Shogun is one of the secrets that Sabertooth guards with their lives and can only be used by the Guild Masters of Phantom Breaker, and the current user and owner of this item is Jayapura Marsh. It was originally used to take down monstrous creatures that were seemingly invulnerable. After using all of his strength to merge the mineral with powerful metals, he created Grand Shogun, the blade that can absorb the negative energy behind any evil doer and effectively use it against them. However, this item isn't without it's serious side-effects; one being that only the Guild Masters of Sabertooth are allowed to lift and wield this weapon. Another is that the weapon is only able to use it's full potential when it senses one massive great evil and when not in use at all, it is nothing more than a normal giant sword. While most believe it to be a sacred and invincible sword, it is prone to break. The Grand Shogun has a limit to how much evil energy it absorbs and will overheat.
Nexus Gem: Is one of the Inner Three Secrets of Sabertooth, created in order to handle the natural disasters of the continent Genosha. Using his mastery of magic, he was able to create one special jewel with a powerful mineral, and infusing it with a magic that allows the user to repair the damage to not only the environment but also to the buildings as well up to ten square miles at a time. However, just like Grand Shogun, there are side-effects when the item is in use. Like any of the three sacred items, they are only able to be in use by the Guild Master, secondly the energy used by the jewel leaves the master drained to their near-limits, and finally the gem itself is only able to repair damage right after the disaster occurs and not later when the damage has been done more than a few hours ago.
Vambraces: He wears a pair of golden weighted appendages around his arms that closely resemble vambraces. He uses these braces both as a training tool and an offensive weapon in battle as they have protrusions that can jut out.
