 At last! Minna could hardly wait to get started; ever since the news had reached his ears of his Lady becoming tainted by the cursed, he longed for some cursed eyes to scratch, some cursed skin to tear. He was not usually one for fighting, but like any cat with its dander properly up, he was willing to vent it out on the object of his irk. And what fortuitous circumstances that the first cursed he happened upon was rat-like! Grinning a feral cat grin, he lashed his tail and gave his rump a wiggle before pouncing full on at the creature, claws out and stabbing. HP: 20

 Kusari hadn't seen as much action as many of his comrades but he was still trying, his record hadn't been what he'd expected but then, that's how war went. He had continued to train in between battles at his camp, and hoped things to go better. He smelled something that made his nose twitch most unpleasantly; not just a god follower but something..worse... He turned, and barely in time as he caught claws on his side, his eyes widening. A malk? This meant the Fae were now involved... He sniffed in disgust at the feline creature and attempted to thwack him with a nunchaku upside the head. HP: 18

His appetite far from sated, Minna blinked suddenly as the rat would hit him with.....a stick? He uttered a sound between a growl and a chuckle; was this what the dark ones were so frightened of? In answer to the thwack, Minna used a clawed paw to aim a cat-like thwack of his own at the rat's head, trying to put enough oomph behind it to thoroughly get its bell rung. HP: 19

Kusari could use many weapons, or none, but he preferred his nunchaku over all. The fluidity of motion required to use them properly made it a higher form of martial arts in his opinion. Granted, he'd not used them against a four-legged opponent before, but....he ducked the paw enough to feel it brush an ear before he lashed out again, aiming the hard lacquered wood at a joint in the cat's leg, hoping to hobble him. HP: 17

Minna let loose a cat-like yowl as the weapon connected solidly with his leg joint, sending him into an ungainly stumble. Lifting his leg up gingerly, he faced the cursed rat with a snarl, his dark eyes flashing, and lunged forth to try and sink his teeth into one of his opponent's arms. HP: 15

Kusari moved back but still couldn't avoid the teeth that tore into his shoulder. Grimacing in pain he brought both halves of his nunchaku into one hand, and aimed to crash them down upon the skull of the beast. Hp: 14

Minna's ears flattened as the stick came back to knock him on his head. Well, at least the thing wasn't using his TEETH; rat teeth were no joke. Tail lashing with the thrill of the battle, Minna brought his hind legs up and attempted to rapidly kick out at the cursed one. HP: 14

Kusari was knocked back hard from the kick, tumbling back onto the ground. He grunts as he gets back up and rushes his opponent, swinging that nunchaku again for the cat's shoulder. HP: 10 (and every time I notice a dice fail the other person posts before I do XD)

Sensing an opportunity to pounce, Minna lunged forth just as soon as he saw the other tumble, wincing as the nunchaku hit him on the shoulder. With an angry hiss, he brought his claws up to slash at the cursed's face. HP: 12 ((Bound to happen sooner or later. XD))

Kusari took claws deeply across his face, and it was then all the training went out the window as the natural instinct finally won out in the presence of the cat. His teeth flashed and he tried to chomp down on the cat's paw hard. HP: 7

And there were the teeth! Minna grinned, showing his own teeth; the silly rat might be too late to use them now! They still hurt like mad chomping into his paw, and he angrily tried to pull it free of the needle teeth while at the same time reaching down to bite in retaliation on the other arm. HP: 10

Kusari was too focused on biting the cat to avoid the retaliatory chomp on his arm, he growls and his tail lashes out to try and wrap around one of the cat's legs to yank hard. HP: 3

Feeling the pull of the tail on his leg caused Minna to panic a little, remembering his tender leg that he now had to baby. Not wanting two of his legs to end up that way, he let go of the rat's arm and diverted his snapping maw to the other's tail instead. HP: 8
