Sirene Naiads

Dealing in pre-written news was incredibly boring, but it afforded E4rin plenty of time to watch, keep her 'civic duty' going, and, in the long term, write her observations and findings for the people who needed it under a pseudonym. While it wasn't much, it was something, and Erin found if she couldn't do that, Wolfenstein was getting very stress relieving, especially with mods.

Today, though, the young woman had a meeting with a fr-no, contact. Once didn't dare use friend, as much as she wanted to (Cities were terribly lonely), and Erin sat typing a fiction story on her laptop for practice in the small coffee shop as she waited, rubbing her chin thoughtfully every so often. It was for fun, messing with a few conspiracies for alternate history, but it broke monotony and boredom and was an excellent way to distract herself worrying if Delilah would appear. Admittedly, it was still lonely.

Writing didn't entirely help that.

The bell on the coffee shop door announced the arrival of someone new. Delilah gave it a look as if wishing it would not have given her away but she knew in the world of shops, they needed to know when someone was coming in. So instead, the business woman only gave it a look before crossing the room and finding the table with the woman she was meeting.

"Hello Erin. I hope things have been going well for you. Any lucky being able to convince your boss to let you write more of your own?" Delilah asked sweety, doing her best to come across as both friendly and professional. They were, after-all, there to talk about 'advertising'. "I thought I began to notice a change in the style a bit."

Motioning towards the empty chair, Delilah waited a moment before taking a seat.

"Not yet." Erin looked up, sighing. "Between articles I've begun writing fiction just to keep busy. That and video games." She admitted sheepishly.

"How about you? Anything on your end?"

A smile crossed Delilah's face as the girl admitted what she did in her free time. "Keeping your skills up and your reflexes then." Chuckling as she took a seat, Delilah gave a sigh.

"Just the same old. Though it is interesting finding weak-links in organizations." Her eyes glanced over to the large board above the barista.

"Trying to." Erin smiled, nodding. She smiled, still, after, motioning.

"Can I help in any way? I'm not good at tactics or anything, but... I'm good linking connections at times."

Part of working with conspiracies included picking at details, locating information that seemed similar, and pairing it, and she wanted to try her hand at helping, even a little.
