Copper Shenanigans This is what my metalhead friend sends me. Not huge on CC. My friends just saw them live in concert the other day, though. One of them knocked a guy out moshing. A lot of scene kids were there for the opening band and got eaten alive in the mosh. Not literally. Though I would expect nothing less from a CC concert. Supar Ingimon In all seriousness it's Speed Metal or nothing for me. Unless this counts as Black Metal. Speed metal and power metal used to be my favorite. Still dig the genre. Trying to branch out, though. Diggin Enforcer. Listen to any Heavenly? Once you get past the funny Frenchman voice, it's pretty tight. Stratovarius is another goot European power metal band. And you can never go wrong with Gamma Ray or Annihilator.

Cannot get past the grizzly bear vocals of most bands in that vein of metal. Friend showed me something we've taken to calling wizard metal like rhapsody. In other news, I decided to listen to Countdown to Extinction for a bit of nostalgia.

Cannot get past the grizzly bear vocals of most bands in that vein of metal. Friend showed me something we've taken to calling wizard metal like rhapsody. In other news, I decided to listen to Countdown to Extinction for a bit of nostalgia. Oooh. Gotta love Megadeth. Their Youthanasia album is definitely in my top five favorite metal albums. You might like Sepultura. A bit heavier on the vocals, but the instrumentals sound like they have a strong in influence from Megadeth.

I swear, the Dio tribute by 3 Inches almost made me cry. Though my failing sobriety may be to blame for that. If you like Dio, you should check out Triddana. There will never be another Ronnie, but this vocalist gets pretty damn close. Your taste in metal is pretty retro. Pff. And you called me grandpa. Not that I'm complaining. Aside from Racer X, I dig all of those bands.
