The one problem with living alone: no roommates to share cake with, and therefore no cake (because I don't like wasting food). sad

Well depending on what you read the average is usually 8.7-15 years. However the two year and 5 year hurdles take out a chunk of people so I felt justified in making the statement.
But marriage rates are dropping in most of the world so yes pretty much 'marriage' is dead. People just don't seem to have the commitment to stick with someone and often make exceptionally bad choices in their supposed 'till death do us part' partner.

Then I guess I'm better off not getting married, if a marriage is so easy to break. If I'll ever find a girl I like, I'll just stay with her and put her on my will. It sounds better than to make empty promises with a ton of legal complications.
