Victor Rodrigo de Asturias
Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year

Victor could be seen walking out of an arms collector store, putting his backpack on his back. It was slightly heavier than most since it was being weighed down by a dozen or so grenades of different kinds. He had a beige coat over his school suit and was open to where you could see his tie and pin on his collar that displayed the house he was from. Victor had visited the store since he had used a good portion of his explosives in the last encounter with the Hydra and while they had not proven to have the intended effect, they had rendered useful. The store mostly sold novelty knives and cheap imitation swords but the store was authorized to sell special equipment to Exorcists. With a quick flash of his student identification, Victor was allowed entry to the back of the store where they kept their True Cross equipment sets. He was in the downtown mall where most citizens chose to do their shopping due to the great variety and concentration of specialty stores. Victor rarely went shopping but this time it was different. He wasn't alone and walking the mall knowing that proved to be a more enjoyable experience. It at least took his mind off the stressful things that were going on.

Victor had met with a contact from "The Company" and was let in on somethings that didn't exactly put him at ease. While his shadowing of Homura was put off and deemed successful, Victor was to begin watching his own back. Apparently, the phone he had gotten from a contact to use for their activities had been accessed and call records had been stolen. It was a breach in security at a minimal level but someone outside the network had gotten a look if not their hands on call records, phone numbers and SIM data from that phone. It had been taken from him in order to be wiped and examined by their people. Victor had been put on a leave of sorts but had been given a warning to look out for suspicious persons who might want to follow him or get information about their organization. While the time spent with the contact was not too long, the man had not shown his face and spoke from the front seat of a moving car. Victor was to continue activities as usual but monitor any changes in staff at the Academy including students. It would have been easier to get their hands on School files, they feared that the people they were looking for didn't deal above the table and were likely to be well hidden amongst the people. Then there was mention of a peculiar corpse found down river that had washed ashore. It was assumed that the man had committed suicide, perhaps jumping off the Faust Bridge. The only hint of foul play was the fact that he had perhaps died before his lungs were filled with water. That was all that the man told Victor but with the report on possessed teenagers committing acts of violence in the city, it was easy to see something at work there.

Besides that, teams had been announced for their Exorcist classes and they were decent enough. He had gotten his wish to have Alexandria in the same team but haven been given the role of Team Leader had Victor wondering. He knew that he had practically broken every etiquette to fighting demons as an Exorcist but perhaps someone saw some potential in him. Altogether, Victor simply disliked the extra responsibility. The matter wasn't if he was able or not to fill the role but the fact that he had to. What was more, Homura had been placed in the same team, ensuring a good time. Victor knew he would have to deal with the red head sooner or later and decided that he would enjoy as much time as he could before then.

The young Austrian woman gazed over the railing of the third floor to the ground below her. There was a surprising about of traffic below; Alexandria couldn't help wonder if some sort of holiday were coming up or if that was just the typical Friday morning bustle. This mall wasn't one she frequented terribly often, much less in the morning. Yet, she had come with another and had already gotten her one objective taken care of.. As, despite the Barthomeloi’s ridicule- she quite liked her hakama. And would prefer to have it without holes and other detracting nuisances.

But, now the young Austrian was waiting, leaning over the railing letting her olive gaze wander. The day’s weather was already putting a depressing hue into the normally bright and vibrant shopping center. The skylights above dimming the sleek hues of white and gold interior to faded, dull greys. Alexandria’s mind wondered a bit as she went through the events of the couple of days; it was quite eventful. The running with the possessed True Cross kiddies that she and Ignazio had the fortune to run into; they said some strange things- things she wasn't very sure about but one word stuck out in her mind they’d asked Ignazio if he were a member of Pandemonium.. She couldn't help wonder what that meant. Was it a faction or worse some type of “server” and that there were other servers; potentially all over the world? It plagued her mind as she waited on her companion to finish his shopping. He had gone into what would appear to normal folk, a knife shop- the kind that had a variety of bazaar things on the walls. Antlers, animal mounts, wooden signs, some hats in addition to the long glass counter tops.

Today Alexandria wore her charcoal winter coat, but underneath it wasn't her school uniform. Instead a dress of similar length but instead a two-tone lace dress; consisting of pale golden pleated section and a white lace bodice. While, Victor took his time he eventually did make his way out from the knife store, slinging his back-pack over his shoulder. The Spaniard seemed a bit perplexed today. Perhaps because of new responsibilities of being named a team leader; or perhaps the less savory news of some unusual deaths around town- that frankly didn't add up. Alexandria turned to face her companion as she heard someone leave the store. She picked her bag from the ground and threw it over her shoulder before approaching him, weaving through the people as they passed by.
“Something the matter?” Alexandria asked him as they began to walk down the walkway.

Victor was staring out into the moving crowds when Alexandria came up beside him. She spoke out to him and Victor turned to see who it was. He smiled to assure her that he was alright. "Now that you're here, nothing." Victor said genuinely pleased. He was was a lucky man to have Alexandria come along with him. While they both had something to get at the store, she could have easily said no and went on her own. "I think this is all I need. How about you?" He could see that she had gotten her fancy japanese pants already. Not wanting to cut their time together short Victor suggested they get breakfast. "I was thinking we could get some breakfast on the way back to the Academy before classes start. What do you think?" He asked attentively. Victor couldn't help but notice the dress she was wearing underneath her winter coat and how well it fit her. She always knows how to dress. Victor thought before he took his eyes elsewhere to keep himself from delving deeper into that pool of thought. He smoothy looked about the stationary people near them on their level and the levels above them.

Victor had a certain, assuring smile, if only to insure the truth in his next words. Something was definitely on his mind, in truth he was a bit ‘abscent’. Alexandria could only tell herself it likely wasn’t important, especially not important enough to dig for the truth. He quickly asked if she needed anything else while they were at the mall but Alexandria could only shake her head- she’d gotten what she needed already. But Victor could likely tell that, as her hakama was neatly wrapped within a white plastic bag with bright red letters reading “thankyou”.

The Spaniard had indeed noticed the bag and then asked her about breakfast as if to perhaps drag out the time before having to return to the school.
“Sure.” She said simply, with a nod of her head. It wasn’t a bad idea- she hadn’t eaten yet for the day either. ”Sounds Good. What do you have in mind?” Alexandria asked him. There were plenty of different restaurants to eat from here; in addition to a few café’s. Even if nothing sounded good in the mall, the two were downtown- surely something would be of interest.

Victor's gaze was active as it briskly looked about the area but was brought to Alexandria as she answered him. It was good to hear that she was willing to go eat. He knew that she must have been hungry since they had gotten up a bit early to go and run their errands. There were a number of good restaurants in the area and Victor knew because he liked to go exploring on his bike. Matsuda's was of course his favorite and a home away from home so it was an easy choice. "I know this place that serves the best homes style steaks downtown." Victor said enthusiastically smiling. He began to lead the way to the mall's eastern exit where he had parked the motorcycle. "I usually get the steak and eggs breakfast but they also serve japanese dishes. I guess it's the American dishes that get my attention." Victor said as he walked. He was totally carried away by his time out that he forgot that it was the primary location that he could be found if someone would be looking for him.

The Spaniard seemed to have a place in mind when she had asked about where they’d eat. The young Austrian hadn’t spent much time exploring downtown, truth be told so wherever the boy had in mind was likely new to her. Victor spoke excitedly about this place, evidently some of the best steak in town. He began to walk through the crowds and Alexandria matched his pace as they weaved through people and around kiosks. He mentioned that this place served a variety of things, even at breakfast it would seem. From Japanese cuisine to American dishes; quite a range.

Soon the duo was passing through the Mall’s eastern exit; going through the sliding glass doors into the grey outside. Snow lightly drifted towards the ground as Victor and Alexandria made their way to his motorcycle. It wasn’t terribly far from the entrance. She’d ridden on his motor bike on the way to this place but honestly wasn’t quite sure how she felt about that. They passed a number of cars before coming to a stop before his Harley. Alexandria’s face might have held a brief look of worry, to be fair it was going to be only her second time riding a motor cycle, before shifting to a more neutral look. It wasn’t that she was afraid so much as it required her to give up control and trust someone else. Kind of like trying to trust someone to catch you when you fall back.. Simply isn’t easy until one is accustomed to it.

Victor and Alexandria had managed to get through the crowds inside the mall and out the exit. They made their way to the parking lot and found Victor's motorcycle parked near the front where they reserved spots for them. As they approached, Victor picked up his helmet from the sissy bars on the back and circled around the motorcycle, noticing Alexandria was staring at the bike. She looked a bit unhappy at first and Victor wondered if she didn't like riding with him. He put the helmet on the seat and smirked, leaning forward a bit towards her from the other side of the motorcycle. "We can take a cab if you prefer doors." Victor said. He knew that it had been one of the few times she had ridden by how tightly she held onto him when they rode there, so he understood it could be uncomfortable. It would probably be safer to ride on a vehicle with the light snow making things slightly more slippery. Victor never thought twice about it but he wasn't alone this time. He was willing to leave his V-Rod parked for a while if it meant making Alexandria more comfortable.

Victor’s words interrupted her thoughts, but she merely shook her head. “I did it once!!” She exclaimed as she looked back at him. He was certainly enjoying himself and probably thought it was funny how she might have seemed nervous about something so minor. Her pale cheeks glowed a familiar shade of peachy pink. “I’ll be fine.” Alexandria said to him, sounding a bit determined if anything, as she drew near to the motor cycle. There wasn’t much distance between the two as she looked back up to him and a faint smile crossed her pink lips. “You’d probably prefer this ride anyways!” Alexandria said with a giggle, she was teasing him a bit. Riding in a cab wouldn’t give her any reason to hold close to the Spanish boy.

Alexandria seemed to get flustered at the fact that Victor pointed out her worry. Her cheeks took on a rosy color that only seemed to supplement her fair skin. Victor couldn't deny how irresistible she was in that state and could only look on in admiration. She assured him that she would be fine, finding her bravery on the matter as she came closer. There wasn't much between the two in regards of distance and that made certain features of her face stand out such as her dark green eyes and pink lips. Victor turned his head away and handed her his helmet, seeking to hide the rushing blood to his face. He looked back at her without turning his head towards her when she accused him of liking their ride together. Victor smirked. "You KNOW I do." He said, raising his eyes brows once to accentuate "know". Victor wouldn't deny to her how he would jump at any opportunity to be near her. He would think that she felt the same. Once she would take the helmet, Victor would pull off his backpack and place it on the small rack behind the back seat. There were two bungee cords that he used to tied down his bag for travel. "Give me your bag, I'll put in here and keep it cozy for you." Victor said holding out his hand for the bag she was carrying. His good mood could be seen permeating through the seemingly permanent smile on his face.

David Meadows
Fighter || Dragoon || Upper First Class || U.S.S. Delta

Within an office building under construction, sat an assault rifle on it's bipod. A faint sound could be heard as if being whispered from a miniature speaker. It was a dark room filled with several materials to include scaffolding and two by fours for the wall structure. A tarp flapped in the wind over the would be window, casting a live shadow over the floor just before the edge that overlooked the downtown mall. There was something peculiar about the rifle for it seemed to bob ever so slightly at it's barrel. As one would look down it's body, one would see that the stock did not touch the floor but instead dangled in the air above it as if enchanted. The tarp caught a breeze that ran through the buildings easily reaching that floor of twenty stories or so. As the tarp ebbed and raised, sunlight touched down into the room but before it hit the floor, it was halted by something, casting a shadow just behind the rifle. The figure was a silhouette of a man laid out on the floor, cradling the rear end of the rifle in his arms. Feeling the sunlight come down on him, the shadow became a man, darkly dressed with a trench type coat over his body. He looked up at the sun who threatened to reveal him to whomever decided to snoop around the area out of some incomprehensible urge. He looked back to his rifle and noticed that the light didn't reach it and saved him the trouble of having to blind the scope. Even with a sun so deterred by the clouds that morning, it would prove a nuisance to give away his position because of scope glare.

David meadows, a new man reborn from the joint efforts of a corporation with ambitions in every field. He had received a text message from Umbrella with a target he was to keep out of harms way with as little contact as possible. Removing the ear bud that played music at the moment, David moved his head into the scope and closed his exposed eye. Through the hole, he could see two people behind a set of cross-hairs. Two foreigners, like him. One male, one female. The male looked to be in his early twenties, blonde hair, muscular build. Victor, was his name and David had his rifle's eye over his heart. The young man had then turned around and faced the young female who was apparently his companion, a loved one, like a wife. Moving his head away from the rifle, he looked out to the buildings before him. Thoughts of someone else would come to him, seeing the two together but not while he kept himself busy and David was good at that. He could tell the target was about to leave and so he had to plan a route to follow without giving himself away. I'll give him five more minutes. David thought as he got up into a kneeling position and opened a suitcase that had been set underneath a pile of wood. He then began to disassemble the rifle, a task of about twenty seconds.

It wasn’t long before her companion turned away from her. Looking back only briefly to respond to her tease, ‘Of course I do.’ Alexandria thought to herself as one of her warm smiles crossed her pink lips. Some of the color of her cheeks faded as she grew more confident. The Spanish boy handed her his helmet before averting his gaze from her for a few moments as he lifted his bag from his shoulder to put on a rack. Alexandria took the time to place the helmet he’d given her on top of her head. Victor soon turned back to her to ask for her own bag; she quickly put the shopping bag she had gotten with in her dark leather bag before handing it to him. “You’re in an awfully good mood now!” Alexandria said with a smile.

Victor took Alexandria's leather bag and put it inside of his backpack before strapping it down into the small rack. He chuckled at her pointing out his joyous state. It was true and seemingly obvious so there was nothing Victor could say to hide it. He step to the left side of the motorcycle and mounted it, throwing his right leg over it. Victor then turned the key located underneath his seat and pressed on the ignition at the right handlebar. The engine was started and loudly growled out to the space behind the exhaust. Checking the mirrors and gauges, Victor was almost ready to go. Behind the windshield were two leather cases the size of wallets. He opened one and retrieved a pair of sunglasses which he put on to see the road better and shield his eyes of the wind. He looked behind him to see if Alexandria was ready too and would smile when she came aboard. After she was safely seated and attached, Victor would retract the kickstand and let off the clutch, propelling them towards the road and to Matsuda's for breakfast.

A faint sigh escaped the lips of the male, two days had passed, his memory was hazy from that time, the last thing he could remember, was being attacked by some sort of snake demon, after which his mind went blank. These sort of occurrences were rare for Homura, the last time that this occurred had been as a child, but that memory was one that he preferred not to remember. The crimson hair male scanning his surroundings, he had inadvertently found himself in a place of nostalgia. The male had many memories in this part of town growing up, from old tags of graffiti that he himself had placed on portions of builds that he knew would never be removed, to old shops that he once stole from. A slight grin had enveloped into the males features before slowly fading away.

Now there were not many things, that could take away the joy of remembering old memories, except when seeing someone that he did not wish to see at that very moment. After the exam, Homura had been notified that he was placed on the same team as Victor, and Alex, it was as if someone upstairs truly disliked him, and wished to punish him for his transgressions. As the male looked over towards the presence of his now ever growing depression, Homura noticed that it was not with out a glimmer of hope, the male known as victor was being accompanied by the angelic maiden known as Alex, Homura could not pass up an opportunity to crash what he could only assume was poor excuse for a date.

Homura raised one hand towards his mouth let out a sudden high pitch whistle, which at that time did not draw to much attention in the crowd that he was in, suddenly a bright yellow taxi slowed down, and homura entered the cab, he would then point towards the couple which soon were making an escape, he instructed the cab driver to follow them to what ever destination that they were heading. As the crimson haired male leaned forward in the back seat with anticipation, he couldn't help but let a slight grin appear across his face. Perhaps It's time I rescue the fair maiden, from the ugly troll that is holding her hostage. He thought to himself, as the cab pulled out onto the intersection, and began following the couple in a discrete fashion.

⭐⭐

• Outside of True Cross Academy grounds Joushi quickly took to an ally way and whispered into the white scarf wrapped snug around the Dragoon's neck. In the shadows off of a bare street the scarf slipped down and morphed, taking the shape of a large dog of short, tan coloured fut and a heavy set jaw. Patting the dog's head, Joushi returned to the street, solid case holding the submachine gun in one hand while the beige and blue leather messenger bag hung from a shoulder, its strap crossed over the Dragoon's chest. The dog trotted happily at Joushi's side, happy huffs of air noisaly escaping the dog's maw. Following the quiet streets eventually led to a main road and shopping district. Japan's business hours allowed shops to stay open a little later than many other businesses would in the world. Following with the flow eventually led Joushi to a less inhabited side street, a small store embedded further in as Joushi's destination. Only a small, lit, blue lantern out the front of the door as the only sign that it was still open and welcoming customers. Entering the dimly lit store, Joushi held the door open long enough for the large dog to enter as well before the teen walked straight to the main counter. A thin, pale woman of Japanese ancestry was behind the counter, her long black hair falling in dry waves. She looked as though she had seen the worst of the world, and wore it for all to see in her face.

"J," Joushi greeted. Giving a small bow of the head in greeting. The woman nodded her head back in greeting, dark eyes going to the case in Joushi's hand.

"What 'cha do this time." She accused, recognising the case. Joushi propped it up onto the counter, allowing J to take it with the key. The Dragoon watched as the older woman opened the case, wrinkled finger delving in to pull out and inspect the submachine gun, eyes narrowing at spotting the teeth marks on the metel. She sighed. "I can buff 'em out. Do you need back tonight?" Pink hair swayed softly at the slight shake of a head. "Good." J placed the gun back in its case and locked in once more before pulling it to be tucked behind the counter. While J was busy securing the weapon Joushi pulled out the small bag of spent casing to leave on the counter for her to take at her will.

"I got your text," Joushi began. "Did you require Kit for something?" The dog tilted its head at the name, blue eyes looking up at J expectantly.

"That would be Hailey." J explained, taking the small black bag of spent shells. "She came back from visiting relatives and has a bag of food for your dog. I'll go get her." She offered, taking up the case holding the Benelli CB M2 and the bag of bullet shells to take them into a back room and closing the door behind her. Joushi waited, posture straight and still while hand gently rubbed the top of the Mastiff's tan head. Soon voices could be heard, although muffled, from behind the door J had left through, getting stronger until J returned, Hailey behind her. The younger woman, a former prostitute and assassin, her looks ruined by a fire that left her without her right arm, came out with a large smile and a plastic box tucked under her only arm.

"Jou, cutie!" She greeted, all energy and optimism. "Come here." She placed the box down on the counter and walked around it, extending her left arm for a hug. Joushi stepped forward, face calm and devoid of any discernable emotion. Hailey didn't mind, having always enjoyed the blunt honesty Joushi would provide. The entered a brief embrace, Hailey's curly blond hair soft on the teenager's skin. Haily pulled back, hand resting on the Beast Charmer's shoulder. "How are you? Have you made new friends?" Joushi nodded.

"I'm fine. It's been an interesting first day." The teenager replied. Hailey's smile brightened.

"Good, good!" She turned her green eyes to the tan Mastiff breed of a dog. "And how are you, Kit?" Hailey asked. J rolled her eyes, the asian woman leaning on the counter with her forearms crossed over each other. "Been a good girl?" The dog gave a happy bark, tail wagging merrily. "Good girl!" Haily repeated. "Wanna treat~?" She sing-songed, hand reaching out to playfully ruffle the dog's head before picking up the plastic containor once more and hand it to Joushi. "Just some dried meats." Hailey explained with a grin. Joushi took the box with a nod and a sincere word of thanks, appreciating the aid in keeping Kit happy and healthy.

"Thank you," Joushi spoke. "She'll love them."

"No problem!" Hailey giggled.

"Was there anything else you needed? Joushi." J yawned. There were times she was just as blunt as the pink-haired teen. A shake of the head signalled Joushi was done.

"No. And I should return. Thank you again. I'll attempt to return tomorrow." J nodded but otherwise remained silent. Hailey pulled Joushi into another hug before also giving her farewells and well wishes, waving until Joushi and the tan dog had left the shop properly.

Joushi followed the main road until a more direct path through the quieter areas. When there were few in the ways of passersby Joushi opened the plastic box, peering in through a crack to check the contents before opening it properly strips of unidentified, dried meat filled the containor, smelling seasoned. A few that could be seen had different shades of reds, oranges, and browns, indicating they were all possibly from different batches. Finding a small piece, Joushi carefully plucked it out, closing the lid securely, and held it out for Kit. With a click of the tongue Kit's attention was attracted, only to be distracted by the sight of offered food. With a careful sniff, Kit inspected the food before finding it edible. Carefully taking the dried meat from its master's fingers, the tan Mastiff gave the jerky a few chews before swallowing, panting happily afterwards. Joushi gave the dog a pat on the head and they continued on their way back to True Cross Academy.
