inthestarsShe is a small, quiet dream that is easily frightened like a small animal. While she has no qualms talking normally with acquaintances, Edel has a more difficult time in front of strangers or those she considers intimidating. She’ll often shrink away from people that scare her somehow and will try to hide behind the familiarity of friends or nice faces. Edel is very alike to a fragile flower—she is pretty, but easily broken and tromped upon. As someone who doesn’t speak much and has a difficult time speaking for herself, it’s easy to forcefully twist her around one’s finger. It doesn’t take much to convince her to do something. It doesn’t take much to make her cry either.
inthestarsBut no matter how many times she’s broken, she manages to somehow keep moving on. Edel isn’t quite entirely resilient, but rather she knows how to temporarily glue herself back together and move on, to hold the pieces of herself and keep moving forward despite the pain. Unfortunately, Edel can have trouble expressing herself—especially when she feels it could cause trouble for someone else, and tends to shut herself in a world of books and flowers to cope as a result. She tries to appear fine when she actually isn’t.
inthestarsHer love of books and flowers gives her an eye for detail. Edel pays careful attention to the condition of her plants and to the content inside her books. The dream has grown especially fond of minor details and has developed a sharp memory for recalling certain facts or memories, but also makes it difficult to forget unpleasant moments. She can also become quite curious about things, but will usually try to restrain herself if she considers her potential behavior to be out of line.
inthestarsEdel both craves and avoids touch. When she first awake she eagerly explored the world, but when she came in contact with other dreams and nightmares, she realized that whenever she approached them she would get a queasy feeling. Any intent to touch someone else was met with a sudden wave of irrational fear and terror that sent her stumbling backwards. She doesn’t know where the condition came from, but avoids physical contact as much as possible even though she’s also curious and wants to try.

inthestarsPSYCHIC (FUTURE) ▪ Edel is able to catch glimpses of the future through her magical camera. While it looks like a human camera, in actuality it is mostly empty. It possesses only a mirror and some film; the camera is missing all of the other parts. Instead the camera is powered by magic, and captures images that then appear on the film. Edel can take regular pictures with her camera, but sometimes she will take a picture of something else--a glimpse of what may occur sometime in the future.
